A Generalized Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Set Theoretic Approach to Decision Making Problems

The problem of decision making under imprecise environments are widely spread in real life decision situations. We present a method of object recognition from imprecise multi observer data, which extends the work of Roy and Maji [J Compu. Appl. Math. 203(2007) 412-418] to generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft set theory. The method involves the construction of a comparison table from a generalized intuitionistic fuzzy soft set in a parametric sense for decision making.
Control and Synchronization of New Hyperchaotic System using Active Backstepping Design

In this paper, an active backstepping design is proposed to achieve control and synchronization of a new hyperchaotic system. The proposed method is a systematic design approach and exists in a recursive procedure that interlaces the choice of a Lyapunov function with the design of the active control. The proposed controller enables stabilization of chaotic motion to the origin as well as synchronization of the two identical new hyperchaotic systems. Numerical simulations illustrate the validity of the proposed control technique.
Fuzzy Learning Vector Quantization based on Fuzzy k-Nearest Neighbor Prototypes

In this paper, a new competition strategy for learning vector quantization is proposed. The simple competitive strategy used for learning vector quantization moves the winning prototype which is the closest to the newly given data pattern. We propose a new learning strategy based on k-nearest neighbor prototypes as the winning prototypes. The selection of several prototypes as the winning prototypes guarantees that the updating process occurs more frequently. The design is illustrated with the aid of numeric examples that provide a detailed insight into the performance of the proposed learning strategy.

In this paper, a Mobile Continuous Query Processing System (MCQPS) is designed to solve problems related to database hoarding, maintenance of shared data consistency, and optimization of logging. These problems are caused by weak connectivity and disconnection of wireless networks inherent in mobile database systems under mobile client-server environments. We show the superiority of the proposed MCQPS by comparing its performance to the Client-Intercept-Server (C-I-S) model. In addition, several experimental results show the effectiveness of our proposed indexing structure and methodology for real-time continuous queries.
On Fuzzy r-Minimal Semicompactness on Fuzzy r-Minimal Spaces

The concepts of fuzzy r-minimal semicompact, almost fuzzy r-minimal semicompact, and nearly fuzzy r-minimal semicompact on fuzzy r-minimal spaces arc introduced. We also investigate the relationships between fuzzy r-M-semicontinuous mappings and several types of fuzzy r-minimal semicompactness.

Kaneko et a1. etc many authors extended with multi-valued maps for the notion of compatible maps in complete metric space. Recently, O'Regan et a1. presented fixed point and homotopy results for compatible single-valued maps on complete metric spaces. In this paper, we will establish some common fixed point theorems using compatible maps in intuitionistic fuzzy metric space.

Specified Object Tracking Problem in an Environment of Multiple Moving Objects

Video based object tracking normally deals with non-stationary image streams that change over time. Robust and real time moving object tracking is considered to be a problematic issue in computer vision. Multiple object tracking has many practical applications in scene analysis for automated surveillance. In this paper, we introduce a specified object tracking based particle filter used in an environment of multiple moving objects. A differential image region based tracking method for the detection of multiple moving objects is used. In order to ensure accurate object detection in an unconstrained environment, a background image update method is used. In addition, there exist problems in tracking a particular object through a video sequence, which cannot rely only on image processing techniques. For this, a probabilistic framework is used. Our proposed particle filter has been proved to be robust in dealing with nonlinear and non-Gaussian problems. The particle filter provides a robust object tracking framework under ambiguity conditions and greatly improves the estimation accuracy for complicated tracking problems.

Music emotion recognition is currently one of the most attractive research areas in music information retrieval. In order to use emotion as clues when searching for a particular music, several music based emotion recognizing systems are fundamentally utilized. In order to maximize user satisfaction, the recognition accuracy is very important. In this paper, we develop a new music emotion recognition system, which employs a multilabel feature selector and multilabel classifier. The performance of the proposed system is demonstrated using novel musical emotion data.

We investigate the properties of Galois, dual Galois, residuated, and dual residuated connections on posets. In particular, we show that their connections are related to relations.
