Error Performance Analysis of DS-CDMA System in Wireless Channel

This paper discusses the spectral efficiency and performance of asynchronous direct sequency spread spectrum multiple access systems strict bandwidth limitation by Nyquist filtering. The signal to noise plus interference ratio(SNIR) at the output from the correlation receiver is derived analytically taking the cross correlation characteristics of spreading sequences into account, and also an approximated SNIR of a simple form is presented for the systems employing Gold sequences. Based on the analyzed result of SNIR, bit error rate performance and spectral efficiency are also estimated. and at last, we analyzed improvement rate using RS, convolution as a method for improving functions.
Design of Remote Control Systems using Super-Speed Ethernet and TCP/IP

In general, standard TCP/IP (transmission control protocol-internet protocol), which is called TCP/IP, is using as the communication basis protocol between any collections of networks that is connected. In this paper, using this TCP/IP implementation of remote control system and suitable program for long distance communication is proposed. This system can make system, which basic Ethernet and TCP/IP used system, to mini modeling, so all module that is using here can be used. Therefore, intention of this paper is to reduce expenses, to effective manage for plant and to increase of productivity as linking each plant of several factory to TCP/IP and Ethernet, and then many control plant and manager minimize the needed course.
Real-Time Communication using TMO(Time-Triggered and Message-Triggered Object) in Distributed Computing Systems

Real-time(RT) object-oriented(OO) distributed computing is a form of RT distributed computing realized with a distributed computer system structured in the form of an object network. Several approached proposed in recent years for extending the conventional object structuring scheme to suit RT applications, are briefly reviewed. Then the approach named the TMO (Time-triggered Message-triggered Object) structuring scheme was formulated with the goal of instigating a quantum productivity jump in the design of distributed time triggered simulation. The TMO scheme is intended to facilitate the pursuit of a new paradigm in designing distributed time triggered simulation which is to realize real-time computing with a common and general design style that does not alienate the main-stream computing industry and yet to allow system engineers to confidently produce certifiable distributed time triggered simulation for safety-critical applications. The TMO structuring scheme is a syntactically simple but semantically powerful extension of the conventional object structuring approached and as such, its support tools can be based on various well-established OO programming languages such as C++ and on ubiquitous commercial RT operating system kernels. The Scheme enables a great reduction of the designers efforts in guaranteeing timely service capabilities of application systems
Fabrication of a Hydrogenated a-Si Photodiode

A photodiode capable of obtaining a sufficient photo/dark current ratio at both a forward bias state and a reverse bias state is proposed. The photodiode includes a glass substrate, an aluminum film formed as a lower electrode over the glass substrate, an alumina film formed as a schottky barrier over the aluminum film, a hydrogenated amorphous silicon film formed as a photo conduction layer over a portion of the alumina film, and a transparent conduction film formed as an upper electrode over the hydro-generated amorphous silicon film. Preparation of Crack-free YBCO Films by EPD on Silver

Electrophoretic deposition (EPD) of alcohol YBCO suspensions on the Ag wire electrode is studied. Poly(ethylene glycol) was coordinated to a structure formed by the EPD process with YBCO particles. The suspension is characterized in terms of zeta potential and conductivity. The d.c electric fields of 200-300 V/cm are applied for 1-10 min. The optimal condition for the EPD allows modifying the properties and microstructure of the deposited films. Superconducting coatings with nanometer-sized pores and a preferred orientation along the c-axis were prepared from the result with chemically modified precursor solution. In contrast, YBCO coatings of submicrometer-sized pores and randomly orientated grains were prepared from the solution without PEG.

Sol-gel processing of
ceramics doped with La (0.01∼1.00 at.%) were prepared from metal barium, titanium n-butoxide and lanthanum isopropoxide. Characterization of the sol-gel-derived powder using XRD, SEM is also reported. The obtained results suggested that insulator to semiconductor transition for highly donor-doped barium titanate was closely related to the incorporation of donor into the grains and to the resultant grain size, which were significantly affected by the sinterability of
powders and sintering conditions used.
Analysis of Fiber-optic Link Budget for Optically fed Wireless Communication

Analyses of performance of wireless broadband communication systems employing fiber-optic link have presented. We have analyzed CNR penalty to evaluate system performance by taking into account, radio link considering rainfall attenuation, and optical link considering several carrier-to-noise ratio versus the optical modulation index.

The technology required to advance the state of the art of ultra-high-intensity excimer amplifier construction to the 100 J/100fs output pulse level is identified. The preliminary design work for very large final amplifier pumped by electron beam module is described, and key design problems and approaches are presented and discussed in detail based on the recent experimental and theoretical results.
A Reduction method of Undesired Radiation from the Split Ground Structures (SGS)

The split ground structure for microstrip structure can be used to protect analog/RF signal from SSN interference of digital circuits on PCB with common ground. However, the split ground structure gives rise to undesired emissions that may interfere with nearby circuitry due to the ground discontinuity. In this paper, we have proposed the modified structure, Dumbbell shaped SGS and the method to reduce the radiation by adding the lumped resistor on the proposed Dumbbell shaped SGS.
An IPSec Accelerator for the High-performance Virtual Private Networks

A cost efficient IPSec Accelerator board utilizing a crypto chip and an entry-level Linux PC for the high performance VPN is presented in this paper. The IPIP (IP-over-IP tunneling) processing, encryption & decryption processing, HASH processing, and the integrity test functions of IPSec are processed in the IPSec Accelerator board. The proposed IPSec Accelerator has demonstrated successful execution of the required functions of the IPSec packet processing and verified its performance by processing the IPSec packets at the rate of over 1 Gbps.
A Study on the Fractal Attractor Creation and Analysis of the Printed Korean Characters

Chaos theory is a study researching the irregular, unpredictable behavior of deterministic and non-linear dynamical system. The interpretation using Chaos makes us evaluate characteristic existing in status space of system by tine series, so that the extraction of Chaos characteristic understanding and those characteristics enables us to do high precision interpretation. Therefore, This paper propose the new method which is adopted in extracting character features and recognizing characters using the Chaos Theory. Firstly, it gets features of mesh feature, projection feature and cross distance feature from input character images. And their feature is converted into time series data. Then using the modified Henon system suggested in this paper, it gets last features of character image after calculating Box-counting dimension, Natural Measure, information bit and information dimension which are meant fractal dimension. Finally, character recognition is performed by statistically finding out the each information bit showing the minimum difference against the normalized pattern database. An experimental result shows 99% character classification rates for 2,350 Korean characters (Hangul) using proposed method in this paper.
SL/SST variations and their Correlations in the North East Asian Seas by Remote Sensing

Altimeter(Topex/Poseidon) and AVHRR(NOAA) data were used to study the variations and correlations of Sea Level(SL) and Sea Surface Temperature (SST) in the North East Asian Seas from November 1993 to May 1998. This region is influenced simultaneously to continental and oceanic climate. SL and SST have increased gradually every year because the global warming, and presented usually a strong annual variations in Kuroshio extension region with the influence of bottom topography.
