C++ Class Restructuring Using the Neural Networks

Classes are apt to include useless codes and inadequate inheritance relationship between them when they are being updated, inserted and deleted during the evolution process of object-oriented software, leading to lots of errors. Conventional class restructuring methods degrade the effectiveness of reusability since they go with preprocesses such as dependency analysis and estimation of class cohesion and run statically. In this paper, we propose a new C＋＋ class-restructuring algorithm that does not require those preprocesses and runs dynamically by improving ART learning algorithm in the artificial neural networks.
A Biological Fuzzy Multilayer Perceptron Algorithm

A biologically inspired fuzzy multilayer perceptron is proposed in this paper. The proposed algorithm is established under consideration of biological neuronal structure as well as fuzzy logic operation. We applied this suggested learning algorithm to benchmark problem in neural network such as exclusive OR and 3-bit parity, and to digit image recognition problems. For the comparison between the existing and proposed neural networks, the convergence speed is measured. The result of our simulation indicates that the convergence speed of the proposed learning algorithm is much faster than that of conventional backpropagation algorithm. Furthermore, in the image recognition task, the recognition rate of our learning algorithm is higher than of conventional backpropagation algorithm.

There is an emergence of Internet applications that have real-time requirements. These applications require IP to support guaranteed capacity, higher priority and lower packet loss rate. To address this, the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is developing a set of protocols and standards for Integrated Services on the Internet. Using RSVP and policies to manage the allocation of network resources in order to provide different levels of service is a topic of great interest to service providers. Currently, it is not possible to dynamically reallocate resources during an application's session. This paper discusses how policies in conjunction with new service class can provide a more enhanced network resource allocation by allowing for this dynamic reallocation.
BER Performance of A Communication System Using BPSK Signaling Scheme with Smart Antenna at Base Station

This paper analyzes Bit Error Rate (BER) performance of a wireless communication system using BPSK modulation technique with a smart antenna at base station. The channels under consideration are Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) channel or a slow, flat Rayleigh fading channel with AWGN. Under the assumptions that the MMSE beamformer is used and the time delays of all users are approximately equal, we first analytically derive closed-form expressions for the BER of the desired user. Then, computer simulation is carried out to verify the theoretical results.
Block Error Performance of Transmission in Slow Nakagami Fading Channels with Diversity

In this paper presents equations which describe an average weighted spectrum of errors and average block error probabilities for noncoherent frequency shift keying (NCFSK) used in D-branch maximal ratio combining (MRC) diversity in independent very slow nonselective Nakagami fading channels. The average is formed over the instantaneous receiver signal to noise ratio (SNR) after combining. the analysis is limited to additive Gaussian noise.
The scheme to implement Rate Adaptive Shaper for Differentiated Service Network - srRAS and G-srRAS -

This paper has addressed the implementation of the single rate Rate Adaptive Shaper(srRAS) described in RFC2963. This shaper has been proposed to use at the ingress of differentiated services networks providing Assured Forwarding Per Hop Behavior (AFPHB). srRAS is typically used in conjunction with single rate Three Color Marker(srTCM) described in RFC2697. srRAS itself is the tail-drop FIFO that is drained at a variable rate, and srTCM is the marker with metering function. G-srRAS is the same as srRAS except that RAS receives the green token state information from the downstream srTCM to avoid delaying a packet in RAS although there are sufficient tokens available to color the packet green. In this paper, we have addressed the algorithm and the architecture of srRAS, and the scheme to implement srRAS using VHDL(Very high-speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) and its related tools.
Cobalt (Co) Electrode FBAR Devices Fabricated on Seven-Layered Bragg Reflectors and Their Resonance Characteristics

In this paper, cobalt (Co)-electrode FBAR devices fabricated on seven-layered Bragg Reflectors are presented along with their resonance characteristics. ZnO films are used as the resonating material in FBAR devices where the Co electrode is 3000
thick. All processes are preformed in an RF magnetron sputtering system. As a result of characterization, the resonance characteristics are observed to depend strongly on the quality of ZnO film and Bragg Reflectors. In addition, the FBAR devices with W/
reflectors show good resonance characteristics in term of return loss and quality-factor (Q-factor).

thin films from less than one micron to several tens of microns in thickness had been prepared from metal alkoxide sols. Two methods, dip-withdrawal and electrophoretic deposition, were employed for thin films and sheets formation. A Performance Consideration on Conversion Loss in the Integrated Single Balanced Diode Mixer

In this paper, we consider the factors that affect a conversion loss performance in designing a single balanced diode mixer integrated with IRF(Image Reject Filter), based on the embedded electrical wavelength placed between the IRF and mixer, diode matching and LO drive amplifier. To evaluate the conversion loss performance, we suggest two types of a single balanced mixer using 90 degree branch line coupler, microstrip line and schottky diode. One is only mixer and the other is integrated with IRF and LO drive amplifier. The measured results of a single balance diode mixer integrated IRF show the conversion loss of 8.5 dB and the flatness of 1 dB p-p from 21.2 GHz to 22.6 GHz with 10 dBm LO. The measured input PI dB and IIP3 are 7 dBm and 15 dBm respectively under the nominal LO power level of 10dBm. The LO/RF and LO/IF isolation are 22 dB and 50 dB, respectively.

Recently, many kinds of XML based application services are widely used in internet. And the markets for mathml editor are needed for the technology combined with other text editor. We are developing a system for MathML based browser and editor for the service of internet application. MathML based browser is applicable for e-book service and many kinds of document system. This system is composed of document editing module and displaying processing module. This system is useful for the processing of MathML tag by unexperienced users with MathML syntax. Users can edit the math tag's document with ease and efficiently. Based on XML, many parser functions are optimized for the speed of document processing. This system can afford to the development of internet world.
Association Rule Mining Algorithm and Analysis of Missing Values

This paper explored the use of an algorithm for the data mining and method in handling missing data which had generated enhanced association patterns observed using the data illustrated here. The evaluations showed that more association patterns are generated in the second analysis which suggests more meaningful rules than in the first situation. It showed that the model offer more precise and important association rules that is more valuable when applied for business decision making. With the discovery of accurate association rules or business patterns, strategies could be efficiently planned out and implemented to improve marketing schemes. This investigation gives rise to a number of interesting issues that could be explored further like the effect of outliers and missing data for detecting fraud and devious database entries.
Performance Improvement of Backpropagation Algorithm by Automatic Tuning of Learning Rate using Fuzzy Logic System

We propose a learning method for improving the performance of the backpropagation algorithm. The proposed method is using a fuzzy logic system for automatic tuning of the learning rate of each weight. Instead of choosing a fixed learning rate, the fuzzy logic system is used to dynamically adjust the learning rate. The inputs of fuzzy logic system are delta and delta bar, and the output of fuzzy logic system is the learning rate. In order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we performed simulations on the XOR problem, character classification, and function approximation. The results show that the proposed method considerably improves the performance compared to the general backpropagation, the backpropagation with momentum, and the Jacobs'delta-bar-delta algorithm.
Modeling and Analysis of Cascade Multilevel PWM Rectifier Using Circuit DQ Transformation

This paper presents a cascade multilevel PWM rectifier without the isolation transformers for energy build-up at each inverter modules. The features and advantages of the proposed PWM rectifier can be summarized as follows; I) It realizes the high power high voltage AC/DC power conversion, 2) It uses no transformer which is bulky and heavy, 3) It has hybrid structure so that switching devices can be effectively utilized, 4) It produces high quality AC current even in high power high voltage applications, 5) The input power factor remains unity by simple modulation index control. The multilevel rectifier is analyzed by using the circuit DQ transformation whereby the characteristics and control equations are obtained. Finally, it will be shown that the system simulation reveals the validity of analyses.
