ON CLOSED CONVEX HULLS AND THEIR EXTREME POINTS
Lee, S.K. ; Khairnar, S.M. ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 107~115
In this paper, the new subclass denoted by
-valent holomorphic functions has been introduced and investigate the several properties of the class
. In particular we have obtained integral representation for mappings in the class
) and determined closed convex hulls and their extreme points of the class
SOME PROPERTIES OF FUNCTIONS OF GENERALIZED BOUNDED VARIATION
Kim, Hwa Jun ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 117~125
We investigate some properties of functions of
-bound variation on a closed bounded interval, which is the generalization of bounded variation.
CHARACTERIZATIONS OF WEAKLY PRECOMPACTNESS OF OPERATORS ACTING BETWEEN BANACH SPACES
Song, Hi Ja ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 127~146
We give an extensive presentation of results about the properties of Banach space operators with weakly precompact adjoints. Further we give a description of operators having weakly precompact adjoints on abstract continuous function spaces.
STUDY ON BROWDER'S SPECTRUMS AND WEYL'S SPECTRUMS
Lee, Dong Hark ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 147~154
In this paper we give several necessary and sufficient conditions for an operator on the Hilbert space H to obey Browder's theorem. And it is shown that if S has totally finite ascent and
obeys Browder's theorem for every
denotes the set of all analytic functions on an open neighborhood of
. Furthermore, it is shown that if
is a compact operator or a Riesz Operator then T obeys Browder's theorem and Weyl's theorem holds if and only if Browder's holds.
OSCILLATION AND NONOSCILLATION THEOREMS OF SOLUTIONS FOR SOME NONLINEAR DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS
Kim, RakJoong ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 155~163
In this paper, we study oscillation and nonoscillation criteria of solutions for the following nonlinear differential equation
is a quotient of odd integers.
INVERSION FORMULA FOR C-REGULARIZED SEMIGROUPS
Lee, Young S. ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 165~169
In this paper, we establish an inversion formula for exponentially bounded C-regularized semigroup.
ON THE LIFTING PROPERTIES OF HOMOMORPHISMS OF FLOWS
Song, Hyungsoo ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 171~175
The purpose of this paper is to investigate some lifting properties of homomorphisms of flows. It is shown that an almost one to one extension of a minimal proximal flow is proximal. It is also shown that a distal extension of a pointwise almost periodic flow is pointwise almost periodic.
HALF-GP-MAPS ON INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY TOPOLOGICAL SPACES
Min, Won Keun ; Park, Chun-Kee ; Min, Kyung-Ho ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 177~183
In this paper, we introduce the concepts of half-interior, half-closure, half-gp-maps and half-gp-open maps defined by intuitionistic gradations of openness.
CONFORMAL CHANGE OF THE VECTOR U
IN 5-DIMENSIONAL g-UFT
Cho, Chung Hyun ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 185~191
We investigate change of the vector
induced by the conformal change in 5-dimensional
-unified field theory. These topics will be studied for the second class in 5-dimensional case.
AN APPLICATION OF p-ADIC ANALYSIS TO WINDOWED FOURIER TRANSFORM
Park, Sook Young ; Chung, Phil Ung ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 193~200
We shall introduce the notion of the windowed Fourier transform in
and show that, for any given function
of norm, the windowed Fourier transform of
with respect to
be a function of norms, and moreover be expressible to a summation form. The results obtained in this paper will be usable to the field of research in data compression for signal processing according to the following scheme.
RANKS OF κ-HYPERGRAPHS
Koh, Youngmee ; Ree, Sangwook ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 12, issue 2, 2004, Pages 201~209
We define the incidence matrices of oriented and nonoriented
-hypergraphs, respectively. We discuss the ranks of some circulant matrices and show that the rank of the incidence matrices of oriented and nonoriented
-hypergraphs H are
under a certain condition on the
-edge set or
-arc set of H.
