Mason extended the reflexive property for subgroups to right ideals, and examined various connections between these and related concepts. A ring was usually called reflexive if the zero ideal satisfies the reflexive property. We here study this property skewed by ring endomorphisms, introducing the concept of an
-skew reflexive ring, where is an endomorphism of a given ring.

In this paper, weak and strong convergence theorems of three step iteration process with errors are established for two weakly inward and non-self asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. The results obtained in this paper extend and improve the several recent results in this area.

Flat plumbing basket surfaces of links were introduced to study the geometry of the complement of the links. In present article, we study links of the flat plumbing basket numbers 4 or less using a special presentation of the flat plumbing basket surfaces. We find a complete classification theorem of links of the flat plumbing basket numbers 4 or less.

The studies of reversible and 2-primal rings have done important roles in noncommutative ring theory. We in this note introduce the concept of quasi-reversible-over-prime-radical (simply, QRPR) as a generalization of the 2-primal ring property. A ring is called QRPR if ab = 0 for
implies that ab is contained in the prime radical. In this note we study the structure of QRPR rings and examine the QRPR property of several kinds of ring extensions which have roles in noncommutative ring theory.
NEW SELECTION APPROACH FOR RESOLUTION AND BASIS FUNCTIONS IN WAVELET REGRESSION

In this paper we propose a new approach to the variable selection problem for a primary resolution and wavelet basis functions in wavelet regression. Most wavelet shrinkage methods focus on thresholding the wavelet coefficients, given a primary resolution which is usually determined by the sample size. However, both a primary resolution and the basis functions are affected by the shape of an unknown function rather than the sample size. Unlike existing methods, our method does not depend on the sample size and also takes into account the shape of the unknown function.

In 1911 Schur derived degree and character formulas for projective representations of the symmetric groups remarkably similar to the corresponding formulas for ordinary representations. Morris derived a recurrence for evaluation of spin characters and Stembridge gave a combinatorial reformulation for Morris' recurrence. In this paper we give combinatorial interpretations for the orthogonality relations of spin characters based on Stembridge's combinatorial reformulation for Morris' rule.

In this paper, we establish convergence of contraction
semigroups in the weak topology on a general Banach space. We remove the restriction on a Banach space X and weaken the condition on resolvents of generators in the previous results [4, 5].

We show the existence of nontrivial solutions for some fourth order elliptic boundary value problem with fully nonlinear term. We obtain this result by approaching the variational method and using a linking theorem. We also get a uniqueness result.
