Chon, Inheung ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 103~110
Abstract

ASYMPTOTIC PROPERTIES OF NONEXPANSIVE SEQUENCES IN BANACH SPACES
Park, Jong An ; Park, Yang Seob ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 121~126
Abstract
B.Djafari Rouhani and W.A.Kirk [3] proved the following theorem: Let Xbe a reflexive Banach space and
be a nonexpansive (resp., firmly nonexpansive )sequence in X. Then the set of weak
-limit points of the sequence
(resp.,
) always lies on a convex subset of a sphere centered at the origin of radius
. In this paper we show that the above theorem for nonexpansive(resp., firmly nonexpansive) sequences holds in a general Banach space(resp., a strictly convex dual
).

ON A SUBCLASS OF PRESTALIKE FUNCTIONS WITH NEGATIVE COEFFICIENTS
Lee, S.K. ; Joshi, S.B. ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 127~134
Abstract
Motivated by recent work of Uralegaddi and Sarangi[12], we aim at presenting here system study of novel subclass
of prestarlike functions. Further using operators of fractional calculus, we have obtained distortion theorem for
. Lastly the extreme points of
are obtained.

TYPICALLY REAL HARMONIC FUNCTIONS
Jun, Sook Heui ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 135~138
Abstract
In this paper, we study harmonic orientation-preserving univalent mappings defined on

that are typically real.

CONVERGENCE OF REGULARIZED SEMIGROUPS
Lee, Young S. ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 139~146
Abstract
In this paper, we discuss convergence theorem for contraction C-regularized semigroups. We establish the convergence of the sequence of generators of contraction regularized semigroups in some sense implies the convergence of the sequence of the corresponding contraction regularized semigroups. Under the assumption that R(C) is dense, we show the convergence of generators is implied by the convergence of C-resolvents of generators.

ON FUZZY κ-IDEALS IN SEMIRINGS
Baik, Seung Il ; Kim, Hee Sik ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 147~154
Abstract
In this paper, with the notion of fuzzy
-ideals of semirings, we discuss and review several results described in [4].

LINEAR FUNCTIONALS ON
AND PRODUCT PURE STATES OF UHF
Lee, Jung-Rye ; Shin, Dong-Yun ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 155~162
Abstract
For a sequence
of unit vectors in
, we consider the associated linear functional
on the Cuntz algebra
. We show that the restriction
is the product pure state of a subalgebra
of
such that

which is the restriction of the linear functionals on
associated to a fixed unit vector in

REMARK ON A SEGAL-LANGEVIN TYPE STOCHASTIC DIFFERENTIAL EQUATION ON INVARIANT NUCLEAR SPACE OF A Γ-OPERATOR
Chae, Hong Chul ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 163~172
Abstract
Let

COHOMOLOGY GROUPS OF CIRCULAR UNITS IN ℤ
_{p}
-EXTENSIONS
Kim, Jae Moon ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 173~180
Abstract
Let
be a real abelian field such that the conductor of every nontrivial character belonging to
agrees with the conductor of
. Note that real quadratic fields satisfy this condition. For a prime
, let
be the
-extension of
. The aim of this paper is to produce a set of generators of the Tate cohomology group
of the circular units of
, the
layer of the
-extension of
, where
is an odd prime. This result generalizes some earlier works which treated the case when
is real quadratic field and used them to study
-invariants of

F-REGULAR RELATIONS
Song, Hyungsoo ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 181~186
Abstract
We define the concept of a F-regular flow as a generalization of that of a F-proximal flow, and investigate its properties.

Chung, Phil-Ung ; Han, Song-Ho ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 187~191
Abstract
In the present paper we shall first introduce the timewidth of a signal, and then we shall investigate the relation between the timewidths of a signal

ON THE C

-CONSTRUCTION
Song, Youngkwon ;
Korean Journal of Mathematics, volume 8, issue 2, 2000, Pages 193~198
Abstract
In [4], it is proved that the algebra (
) is not a
- construction if the field is the real number field. In this paper, we will introduce a different proof of the fact that the algebra (
) is not a
-construction.
