Patel, J. ; Rout, S. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 13~13
Abstract
In the present paper, we introduce two subclasses
and
of p-valent starlike functions in the unit disc U = {z : |z| < 1}. We prove certain coefficient inequalities, distortion theorems and substantially more general distortion theorems involving fractional derivatives and fractional integrals of functions belonging to the classes
and
. The raddi of p-valent convexity for functions belonging to these subclasses is also determined.

On a Class of p-valent Functions with Negative and Missing Coefficients
Patel, J. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 29~29
Abstract
Let
be the class of functions
, analytic and p-valent in the unit disc and satisfying
for z in the unit disc and where $-1{\leq}\;B\;<\;A{\leq}\;1,\;0\;{\leq}\;{\alpha}\;<\;p,\;f_t(z)=(1\;-\;t)z^p\;+\;tf(z),\;0{\leq}\;t\;{\leq}1$. In this paper, we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion and closure theorems, radius of convexity estimates, convolution properties et cetera for the class
under the assumption that $-1{\leq}\;B\;<\;0$. We also obtain the class preserving integral operators of the form $$F(z)\;=\;{\frac{c\;+\;p}{Z^c}}{\int}^z_0\;s^{c-1}f(s)ds,\;c\;>\;-p$$ for the class

On Uniformly Starlike Functions of Order
Parvatham, R. ; Premabai, Millicent ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 41~41
Abstract
Certain properties regarding integral operator, convolution, neighbourhood are studied for the class
of uniformly starlike functions of order
and
of uniformly convex functions of order
. Let E denote the open unit disk in C and H(E) be the class of all functions holomorphic in E. S be the class of all functions f(z) of the form
in E which are also univalent in E. A function f in S is said to be starlike of $order\;{\alpha},\;0\;{\leq}\;{\alpha}\;<\;1,\;if\;Re{(\frac{sf'(z)}{f(z)})\;>\;{\alpha},\;z\;{\in}\;E$. The following two classes
of uniformly starlike functions of order
and
of uniformly convex functions of order
are defined in [4].

On an Inverse Scattering Method for Solving Non-linear Equations in Non-homogeneous Media
Darwish, A. A. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 73~73
Abstract
This paper is devoted to study the inverse scattering problem of a generalized Strum Liouville equation on the whole line for solving non linear equations. The solutions of the considered problem and their mathematical properties are investigated in details. The expansion by eigenfunctions of the given problem and hence Parseval equations are obtained. The right and left scattering data are deduced and their time evolution equations are given. The inverse scattering problem is formulated and completely solved.

Dutta, T.K. ; Adhikari, N.C. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 89~89
Abstract
In this paper we introduce the notion of prime one-sided ideal in S where
is a
and show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the set of all prime right ideals of S and the set of all prime right ideals of M where M is the left operator semigroup of the
. We also introduce the notions of right Noetherian on S where
is a
and Noetherian
and study it. Lastly we show that a commutative

Lee, Yu-Lee ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 125~125

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between upper radical construction and lower radical construction. We prove that the lower radical property determined by a class of rings can be obtained by using the method of upper radical construction.

Prime Ideals in Right Complement Bounded Rings
Abulkheir, Hamed E. ; Birkenmeier, Gary F. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 129~129
Abstract
A ring R is right complement bounded (strongly right bounded) if every nonzero right complement (right ideal) contains a nonzero two-sided ideal. For these rings we discuss the set of nilpotent elements and show that the right singular ideal
and its closure
are completely prime. Furthermore the inessential prime ideals and the inessential maximal right ideals are described. A decomposition of a right continuous strongly right bounded ring with unity and no infinite sets of orthogonal central idempotents is given.

Some forms of strongly
Mahmoud, R.A. ; El-Monsef, M. E. Abd ; Nasef, A.A. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 36, issue 1, 1996, Pages 143~143
Abstract
Functions between spaces are impotent tools for studing their properties and for constructing new spaces from previously exiting ones. So, several authors have been interested in this subject and hence more sorts of continuous, open and closed functions arise as one goes further in mathematics. Therefore, this paper devoted to introduce three types of functions called: strongly
, strongly-open and strongly closed. Some of their characterizations are estabilished similarities and dissimilarities between these new types of functions and other corresponding ones are studied. The fundamental properties and effects of strongly
on some topological spaces are investigated.
