Some Theorems Connecting the Unified Fractional Integral Operators and the Laplace Transform
Soni, R. C. ; Singh, Deepika ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 153~153
Abstract
In the present paper, we obtain two Theorems connecting the unified fractional integral operators and the Laplace transform. Due to the presence of a general class of polynomials, the multivariable H-function and general functions
in the kernels of our operators, a large number of (new and known) interesting results involving simpler polynomials (which are special cases of a general class of polynomials) and special functions involving one or more variables (which are particular cases of the multivariable H-function) obtained by several authors and hitherto lying scattered in the literature follow as special cases of our findings. Thus the Theorems obtained by Srivastava et al. [9] follow as simple special cases of our findings.

Generalized Transformation Semigroups Whose Sets of Quasi-ideals and Bi-ideals Coincide
Chinram, Ronnason ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 161~161
Abstract
Let BQ be the class of all semigroups whose bi-ideals are quasi-ideals. It is known that regular semigroups, right [left] simple semigroups and right [left] 0-simple semigroups belong to BQ. Every zero semigroup is clearly a member of this class. In this paper, we characterize when generalized full transformation semigroups and generalized Baer-Levi semigroups are in BQ in terms of the cardinalities of sets.

Vector Bundles on Curves with Many 'spread' Sections
Ballico, E. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 167~167
Abstract
Here we introduce and study vector bundles, E, on a smooth projective curve X having many "spread" sections and for which
has many "spread" sections. We show that no such bundle exists on X if the gonality of X is too low.

On-op-idempotents
Wang, Shuqin ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 171~171
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the concept of op-idempotents. It is shown that every exchange ring can be characterized by op-idempotents

Triangular Normed Fuzzification of (Implicative) Filters in Lattice Implication Algebras
Beasley, Leroy B. ; Cheon, Gi-Sang ; Jun, Young-Bae ; Song, Seok-Zun ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 177~177
Abstract
We obtain characterizations of T-fuzzy (implicative) filters and some properties of T-product of fuzzy (implicative) filters in lattice implication algebras. We also establish the extension property for T-fuzzy implicative filters.

A Length Function and Admissible Diagrams for Complex Reflection Groups G(m, 1, n)
Can, Himmet ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 191~191
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce a length function for elements of the imprimitive complex reflection group G(m, 1, n) and study its properties. Furthermore, we show that every conjugacy class of G(m, 1, n) can be represented by an admissible diagram. The corresponding results for Weyl groups are well known.

Properties of Topological Ideals and Banach Category Theorem
Devi, V. Renuka ; Sivaraj, D. ; Tamizh Chelvam, T. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 199~199
Abstract
An ideal space is
if it has two disjoint
subsets. We answer the question: If X is I-resolvable, then is
, posed by Dontchev, Ganster and Rose. We give three generalizations of the well known Banach Category Theorem and deduce the Banach category Theorem as a corollary. Characterizations of completely codense ideals and
closed sets are given and their properties are discussed.

Modular Tranformations for Ramanujan's Tenth Order Mock Theta Functions
Srivastava, Bhaskar ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 211~211
Abstract
In this paper we obtain the transformations of the Ramanujan's tenth order mock theta functions under the modular group generators

On Upper and Lower Z-supercontinuous Multifunctions
Akdag, Metin ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 221~221
Abstract
In this paper, we define a multifunction
to be upper (lower) Z -supercontinuous if
is z-open in X for every open set V of Y. We obtain some characterizations and several properties concerning upper (lower) Z-supercontinuous multifunctions.

Sectional Curvature
Agut, Calin ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 231~231
Abstract
The paper shows that a hypersurface with constant curvature with the condition
, of a contact metric manifold with a nullity condition and
sectional curvature, has the curvature equals to k and

Truncated Complex Moment Problem with Data in a Circle
Lee, Sang-Hun ; Sim, Jung-Hui ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 241~241
Abstract
Let

supported in the complex plane
such that
. We solve this truncated moment problem with data in a circle and discuss the behavior of data in an extended moment matrix.

Golbasi, Oznur ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 249~249
Abstract
Let N be a prime left near-ring with multiplicative center Z and f be a generalized

Weighted
Estimates for a Rough Maximal Operator
Al-Qassem, H.M. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 255~255
Abstract
This paper is concerned with studying the weighted
boundedness of a class of maximal operators related to homogeneous singular integrals with rough kernels. We obtain appropriate weighted
bounds for such maximal operators. Our results are extensions and improvements of the main theorems in [2] and [5].

Ramanujan's Continued Fraction, a Generalization and Partitions
Srivastava, Bhaskar ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 273~273
Abstract
We generalize a continued fraction of Ramanujan by introducing a free parameter. We give the closed form for the continued fraction. We also consider the finite form giving $n^{th}$>/TEX> convergent using partition theory.

Some Nonlinear Alternatives in Banach Algebras with Applications II
Dhage, B.C. ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 45, issue 2, 2005, Pages 281~281
Abstract
In this paper a nonlinear alternative of Leray-Schauder type is proved in a Banach algebra involving three operators and it is further applied to a functional nonlinear integral equation of mixed type
for proving the existence results in Banach algebras under generalized Lipschitz and
conditions.
