Coefficient Inequalities for Certain Subclasses of Analytic Functions Defined by Using a General Derivative Operator
Bulut, Serap ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 241~250
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.241
Abstract
In this paper, we define new classes of analytic functions using a general derivative operator which is a unification of the S
l
gean derivative operator, the Owa-Srivastava fractional calculus operator and the Al-Oboudi operator, and discuss some coefficient inequalities for functions belong to this classes.

Certain Class of Multidimensional Convolution Integral Equations Involving a Generalized Polynomial Set
Shenan, Jamal Mohammed ; Salim, Tariq Omar ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 251~260
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.251
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to obtain a solution of a certain multidimensional convolution integral equation of Fredholm type whose kernel involves a generalized polynomial set. A number of results follow as special cases from the main theorem by specifying the parameters of the generalized polynomial set.

On Seifert Matrices of Symmetric Links
Bae, Yong-Ju ; Lee, In-Sook ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 261~281
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.261
Abstract
In this paper, we will construct symmetric links by using the method adapted from the graph theory, and study a Seifert matrix of a symmetric link from the information of the Seifert matrix of the base link and the corresponding group action.

On a Class of Semicommutative Rings
Ozen, Tahire ; Agayev, Nazim ; Harmanci, Abdullah ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 283~291
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.283
Abstract
In this paper, a generalization of the class of semicommutative rings is investigated. A ring R is called central semicommutative if for any a, b
R, ab = 0 implies arb is a central element of R for each r
R. We prove that some results on semicommutative rings can be extended to central semicommutative rings for this general settings.

Path-Connectivity of Two-Interval MSF Wavelets
Singh, Divya ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 293~300
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.293
Abstract
In this paper, we obtain that the space
of minimally supported frequency wavelets, the supports of whose Fourier transforms consist of two intervals, is path-connected.

Ali, Shakir ; Khan, Mohammad Salahuddin ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 301~309
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.301
Abstract
In this paper we dene the notions of left *-bimultiplier, *-bimultiplier and generalized *-biderivation, and to prove that if a semiprime *-ring admits a left *-bimultiplier M, then M maps R
R into Z(R). In Section 3, we discuss the applications of theory of *-bimultipliers. Further, it was shown that if a semiprime *-ring R admits a symmetric generalized *-biderivation G : R
R
R with an associated nonzero symmetric *-biderivation R
R
R, then G maps R
R into Z(R). As an application, we establish corresponding results in the setting of
-algebra.

Some Properties of the Closure Operator of a Pi-space
Mao, Hua ; Liu, Sanyang ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 311~322
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.311
Abstract
In this paper, we generalize the definition of a closure operator for a finite matroid to a pi-space and obtain the corresponding closure axioms. Then we discuss some properties of pi-spaces using the closure axioms and prove the non-existence for the dual of a pi-space. We also present some results on the automorphism group of a pi-space.

Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 323~338
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.323
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce (
$, s)-continuous functions between topological spaces, study some of its basic properties and discuss its relationships with other topological functions.

Kaplansky-type Theorems, II
Chang, Gyu-Whan ; Kim, Hwan-Koo ;
Kyungpook mathematical journal, volume 51, issue 3, 2011, Pages 339~344
DOI : 10.5666/KMJ.2011.51.3.339
Abstract
Let D be an integral domain with quotient field K, X be an indeterminate over D, and D[X] be the polynomial ring over D. A prime ideal Q of D[X] is called an upper to zero in D[X] if Q = fK[X]
D[X] for some f
D[X]. In this paper, we study integral domains D such that every upper to zero in D[X] contains a prime element (resp., a primary element, a t-invertible primary ideal, an invertible primary ideal).

Abstract
In this article we introduce the fuzzy real valued double sequence spaces
(p) where p = (
) is a double sequence of bounded strictly positive numbers. We study their different properties like completeness, solidness, symmetricity, convergence free etc. We prove some inclusion results also.
