Exact simulataneous confidence interval for the case of four means using TK procedure

The problem of simultaneously estimating the pairwise differences of means of four independent normal populations with equal variances is considered. A statistical computing procedure involving a trivariate t density constructs the exact confidence intervals with simultaneous co verage probability equal to $1-\alpha$. For equal sample sizes, the new procedure is the same as the Tukey studentized range procedure. With unequal sample sizes, in the sense of efficiency for confidence interval lengths and experimentwise error rates, the procedure is superior to the various generalized Tukey procedures.
The maximum likelihood estimation and testing of gene frequencies of generalized ABO-like blood group systems

This article deals with the method of ML among the methods of estimating m gene frequenecies in the Generalized ABO-like Blood Group Systems and with the statistical testing about the differencies of gene frequencies by using these estimators. Especially, the generalization about the Homogeneity testing problem is tried and thus it enables us to test of Homogeneity of m gene frequencies. Finally, in the example, ML estimator is compared with other estimators suggested by Bernstein method, by adjusted Bernstein method and by modified Bernstein method, and statistical testing in the above is carried out by using orthogonal partitioning.
Direct approximations for t percentage points

In contrast to the customary approximations based on standard normal percentage points, direct approximations involve simple functions of parameters (such as degrees of freedom and tail area of the t distributions). This article used techniques of exploratory data analysis following Hoaglin to develop direct approximations for percentage points in the commonly used portions of upper tail of the t distribution with small to moderate numbers of degrees of freedom. These approximations are convenient to use and they compare favorably in accuracy with the popular approximations based on standard normal percentage points such as Peiser's. They can be used as an initial value generator in algorithms for getting more accurate percentage points.
A classification for the incomplete block designs according to the structure of multi-nested block circulant pattern matrix

The paper by Kurkjian and Zelen(1963) introducted the Property A which related to a structural property of concordance matrix of the column incidence matrix. On the other hand, Paik(1985) showed the property of the concordance matrix, which has multinested block circulant pattern matrix, and this structural property was termed Property C by Paik(1985). This paper classifies the incomplete block designs according to the pattern of the concordence matrix which has multi-nested block circulant pattern. The purpose of this classification simplified the solution of reduced normal equation and plan of the design.
