Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 1~12
In order to provide the new official coordinates set of Korean Geodetic Primary Framework, the data of Precise Primary Geodetic Network (PPGN) were reviewed and validated in the project and block adjustment stage. Moreover PPGN data set was constructed for various computer processings. The simultaneous least squares adjustment was carried out to assess the net strength, local weakness and accuracy of PPGN and to evaluate the horizontal displacements of the resin of Korean peninsula. Finally, the precise horizontal coordinates set of 1st and 2nd order triangulation points of Korea was computed and presented.
Error Analysis of Trilateration Network by Confidence Ellipse
Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 13~20
Error analysis is important in horizontal positioning. In case of error analysis, standard error ellipse is generally used to establish the precision regions, but it will be replaced by 95% confidence ellipse. It is more effective than standard error ellipse in resection for measured procedures and establishment for criterias of relative error. Therefore, In this paper deals with analysis of application to 95% confidence ellipse in horizontal positioning. This study deals with error analysis of plane trilateration network which are various types of control point. also, this paper have studied for theory of error analysis in order to using least square adjustment. Thus, This paper's conclusion are as follows; 95% confidence ellipse could be used to establish of specification in korea, also, it is possible for us to predesign for optimum surveying network by 95% confidence ellipse.

Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 21~30
As it is being changed to information society with high economic development, every kind of work is being specialized and diversified in the aspects of quantity and quality. Therefore, Geo-Spatial Information System (GSIS) is getting more important because it can integrate the attribute, the image and the written data of objects including the site one. The purpose of GSIS is to integrate such geo-spatial data as the situation of public facilities, land uses and its sketch and statistics which are scattered in every administration department. Additionally, GSIS can make users get the goo-spatial information easily through computer, and can also do it worthier. An integrated management system of transportation data is needed to improve the efficiency of road-related operations. This can be accomplished by analysing various operation about road management and the utilization of base maps. Thus, in this study, effective road facility information management system based on GSIS database was developed for the management of various types of drawings and data using in various tasks.
A Study on the Optimization of Close-range Photogrammetry for Structures
Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 31~39
We have various methods of measurement for a safety diagnosis of outworn structure, but these methods to find a variation of structure are not convincible with it's exactness and confidence. We have to lay out a scheme for a solution of these problems and improve a visibility of result. In this study, we studied a optimized solution for close-range photogrammetry to offer the more reliable method compare to conventional method and to improve it's confidens and visibility of output. For obtaining these effects, we manufactured the plane models and curved surface ones each devided into two types, normal case and obilique case. In this way, we got a optimum solution to increase a confidence level and visibility of photogrammetry. And actually, this study will be a good way to measure a variation of structures.

Yun, Hong-Sic ;
Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 61~68
This paper is to provide a reference surface geoid for geodetic applications of satellite altimeter data. The paticular satellite alone or the combination with other altimeter data could be used for the recovery of geoid un-dulations and gravity anomalies in the ocean areas. This paper also describes the geoidal undulation in the ocean area of Korean Peninusla using Geosat, ERS-1 and Topex/Poseidon data. The results show that the quasi-stationary sea surface topography (557) is estimated to be less than 10 cm RMS value in the ocean area of Korean Peninsula. This can be considered as an altimeter geoid.

A Study on Accuracy of Position Analysis by Non-metric photo
Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 95~106
The purpose of this study is to analyse the accuracy of non-metric photos by close-range photogrammetry. Close-range photogrammetry using non-metric photos is 'economical and convenient to handle, but it is insufficient of study on accuracy. To execute this study, first, the terrain model was made and then taken photographs of this model with metric and non-metric cameras. The Bundle adjustment and the Direct linear transformation methods are used for the analysis close-range photogrammetry. The results of the analysis showed that the Bundle adjustment method is a appropriate method for the analysis of the non-netric photo. Therefore, we concluded that the accuracy of the non-metric photo by close-range photogrammetry is applicability for the photogrammetry.
Determination of Planimetric Control Coordinates by Repetative Free Network Adjustments
Journal of the Korean Society of Surveying, Geodesy, Photogrammetry and Cartography, volume 13, issue 1, 1995, Pages 107~113
Generally, the objectives of the geodetic network adjustments are for solving the configuration of geodetic net-works and the problem of observation plans. In this study, assuming that the configuration is fixed, for improving the accuracy of geodetic networks, we focus on choosing adjustment control points and adjustment methods. By choosing adjustment control points and adjustment methods, the adjustment result accuracy of national geodetic networks can be different. So, in this study, we introduce the algorithm that use free network adjustment concept to minimize the displacements of new station points but fixing existing control points. Then, us-ing adjustment results, we can check the errors of existing control points. After checking the errors of existing control point, in case of severe error points in existing control points, we change those points into unknown station points and repeat the algorithm to optimize the coordinates of new station points. As applying this algorithm to simulation network, we can check the errors of existing control points. And changing severe error points into unknown station points, we can decrease the errors of network and optimize the coordinates of new station points. From the results of simulation network adjustment, we think that, as applying this algorithms to sequential adjustment of geodetic network and public surveying that using national geodetic network, the accuracy of network adjustments can be improved.
