Landuse Information System Construction and Landuse Pattern

Landuse information is base data being applied as common database in the process of executing urban project service and is very available. But, the progress of business on landuse information building is deficient yet. In this study, we'd like to deal with landuse information projet that is the base of urban project, many landuse information building and the method of extraction of efficient second-information. Also, we built system to apply actively landuse information for urban projectors. And, we'd like to present the model on urban landuse classification system that wouldn't be standard yet by studying the method of urban landuse pattern using landuse in-formation being built. Also, we can evaluate if the model of urban landuse pattern comes up to present landuse. We can expect it is a base data by extracting unsuitable area from present landuse efficiently when we construct landuse project.
Development of Digital Photogrammetric Systems for Three-Dimensional Topographic Information Analysis

Lately, with the development of the fields of computer and photogrammetry, Digital Photogrammetric Systems are widely used for the generation of GIS basemap, the acquisition of topographic information and DEM, the formation of digital orthophoto, three-dimensional viewing and so on. According as the demand for the systems is rapidly increasing, we suggest keenly the necessity of domestic technical development, because all of these systems depend on foreign technology until now. In this study, by using digital photogrammetry method, with Visual C++ language, we have developed Digital Photogrammetric Systems for Windows which is able to get three-dimensional coordinates through interior orientation, exterior orientation, epipolar line, image matching from a pair of aerial photos taken with metric camera. This system consists of not only a module which can revise digital map that is being made at National Geographic Institute as a part of data construction project of National Geographic Information System, but also a module which can view three-dimensional image on the screen monitor by using anaglyph for three-dimensional analysis. The digital photogrammetry modules developed in this study are expected to be used as primary modules for the effective management of the urban as well as main modules in developing professional digital photogrammetric systems.
Accuracy of Combined Block Adjustment with GPS-Permanentstation

Mapping and precise point determination by photogrammetry have been shown to be an economic solution. But control points are necessary to determine the exterior orientation parameters. Although the number of required control points has been reduced based on extended bundle adjustment and reinforced cross-strip, the ground survey is a significant factor of whole expenses in photogrammetry. The status of GPS-photogrammetry with kinematic DGPS-positioning to overcome this disadvantages, is now steadly progressive since the first possibility has been proved. The completed satellite configuration, powerful receiver function and upgraded software for kinematic DGPS-positioning have extensively improved the accuracy of combined bundle adjustment. So the research for the operational use of GPS-photogrammetry is absolutely necessary. The presented test field was designed for identification of subsidences in a coal mining area, flown with 60％ sidelap and cross strips. Just with 6 control points and combined block adjustment instead of the traditionally used 21 horizontal and 81 vertical control points the same ground accuracy has been reached. The accuracy of kinematic GPS-positioning and combined block adjustment was independent upon the distance of the ground reference station. It also has been showed that the special model for the systematic error correction in the combined block adjustment.
Calculation of Geoidal Height refered to Bessel Ellipsoid From EGM96 Model

In order to calculate geoidal height refered to Bessel ellipsoid, methods to translate geoidal heights from a certain coordinate system to an arbitrary system with the corresponding ellipsoid are studied. and geoidal heights refered to Bessel ellipsoid were computed from EGM96 Model refered to GRS80 using iteration method pro-posed in this paper. Transformation parameters between WGS84 and Bessel were calculated using geoidal heights computed from iteration method. The result of coordinate transformation(standard deviation) were 0.009 second in latitude and 0.006 in longitude and 0.393m in orthometric height.

The cadastral administration is centered around cadastral maps. It is increasing that demand of the public for effective administration and higher quality of service through the development of application program of cadastral maps maintenance. Geo-Spatial Information System which is based on the graphic database of Yuseong-ku, Daejon City and the attribute database about cadastral information has been developed for effective maintenance and use in the part of map editing, public land price management and multi-parcel based work. In this pi-lot study, pointing out difficulties of database implementation and many experiences in the development of application program will be used effectively for further expansion of the automation of the cadastral administration.
The Management of Water Supply and Sewerage Facilities using GIS Technique for Urban Local Area

Today there are many problems of facility management, water supply and sewerage, because expansion of urban and growing of population, limitation of old facility management. The nearest, it is needed to use GIS technique to reduce the pollution of underground water from sewage leaking and to make quick search of an accident area for water service pipe damage. Therefore, this paper shows that GIS is efficient and scientific technique for management of Urban facilities, water supply and sewerage. Finally, I think that this study help managers of facilities.
Analysis of A Watershed Terrain Factors using Digital Elevation Model

A watershed terrain factor is known to the very important in studies of a stream and a watershed. We have obtained the terrain factor in map directly or we have generated it in a digitalized map. In this study, DTED (Digital Terrain Elevation Data) offering in DMA(Defense Mapping Agency) was used to create a stream and a watershed and to extract the terrain factor. As comparison of the terrain factors gererated in digitalized map with the terrain factors extracted in DTED, DTED could be used to extract a terrain factor for a watershed management.
A Study on the Building & Application of Basin Environmental Information Management System

Recently, with a rapid industry development, the recognition of environmental pollution is being increased. And the technique of pollution-prevention is also being studied. In the past, management direction for environmental pollution was limited only to concentration reduction and technique for treatment. But ,in these day, its direction is moved to a high level study such as a management and estimation of pollution material. In this study we establish a conception about EIS(Environmental Information System) building and present its building method. And we present a method for a database building, searching, analysis and printing. Also we produced the landuse map processing LANDSAT TM image. Using DDE(Dynamic Data Exchange) between Excel and ArcView on PC platform, we are enable to write and/or update a Report - waste discharge facility approval management leader - and to recover weakness about the report management of exsiting GSIS program.
A Study on Methods of Quality Check for Digital Basemaps using Statistical Methods for the Quality Control

In this study, we investigated methods of quality check for digital basemaps and proposed effective methods of quality check. We used new statistical methods for quality control in order to carry out quality check for digital basemaps. We proposed 2-stage complete sampling and 2-stage cluster sampling method to improve present statistical methods of quality check(1-stage complete sampling method). We estimated error rate and number of omitted objects using simulated data about all delivered digital basemaps and estimated variances about it. We could determine confidence interval about error rate and number of omitted objects.
A Study on the Comparison among Deflections of the Vertical Computed from Astronomical Coordinates and Geoid Models

In this study, we investigated the methods of computing deflection of the vertical and compared the results of deflections of the vertical computed from astronomical coordinates and GPS observations, and computed from PNU95, EGM96 geoid model. By comparing the results of the deflections of the vertical, we found out the followings; 1) The deflections of the vertical computed from astronomical coordinates and geoid models are similar to each other. 2) The difference between the deflections of the vertical computed from each geoid models was smaller than the difference of those computed from astronomic coordinates and geoid models. 3) The effects of distribution of the points on the results are less than those of the data used in the computation. If there exists reference data about the deflection of the vertical, it would be possible to evaluate the accuracy of the geoid model using this method.
