A Study on the Influence of the Observational Results by the Weight in the Least Squares

The purpose of this study is to investigate on influence of the observations by the given weights, through the observational equations of the least square. According to the tention, elongation lengths are obtained by using the each tape and observational results are analyzed in the given weights. Through the results of this study, we found that variations of weights have not a great influence on the observations.
Adjustment Computation of the Korean Primary Levelling Network

This paper deals with the analysis and adjustment computation for the Korean 1st order levelling data obtained by the National Geography Institute from 1974 to 1986. An evaluation of the accuracy of level lines using forward/back discrepancies and adjustment residuals has been carried out. A general assessment of the network in the light of current standards with other countries is discussed. The results of this study show that systematic errors are relatively high but the accuracy of the primary levelling is good enough within the limitation of precision levelling according to International Association of Geodesy(IAG) Resolution, and therefore it is concluded that this levelling will satisfy the present mapping and engineering survey.
Application of Bitemporal Classification Technique for Accuracy Improvement of Remotely Sensed Data

This study aims at obtaining more effective image processing techniques and more accurately classified image in the sphere which uses remotely sensed data. For this practice, the result of land use classification compounding summer scene with winter scene and the classified result of summer scene were compared, analyzed. From the upper analysed results, we found that Bitemporal Classification technique and
transformation were effective. Particularly, dividing crop class into two classes of farmland and field was more possible by appling Bitemporal Classification technique.
A Study on the Determination of Plane Coordinates Using Single Photo Method

The single photo method has a lot of applications in forestry, traffic accident managements, industry, criminal investigation, and in daily life. In this study a new single photo method was developed by classifying into the Space resection method and the 2 Dimensional Perspective Transformation method. Metric and nonmetric cameras were used to analyse the accuracy by means of single photo method, and the errors in coordinates and lengths were studied by changing the number and arrangement of control points to obtain the optimum condition for the single photo method. The influence of number and arrangement of control points on the accuracy was relatively small in case of the Metric WILD P31 and ASAHI PENTAX 6
7 cameras, where as for errors it was a major factor in the Non-metric Nikon FM2. To overcome these defects, at least 6 control points should be used for the errors to be convergent and they should be distributed evenly over the surveying area. It was found that accuracy increased as the object to be photographed was placed in the perpendicular direction to the axis of camera.
A Study on the Three Dimensional Coordinates Analysis by Direct Linear Transformation

In this paper, the direct linear transformation is described in which a inner and exterior orientation parameters are treated as unknown for non-iterative direct space resection, and the computer program was developed to obtain object space coordinates. Image coordinates measurements are conducted with analogue stereo-plotter and digitizer. To prove the appropriateness of the two image coordinate measurement devices and the DLT method, the standard errors of object space coordinates are compared with semi-analytical method.
A Reliability Analysis of Free- Network Adjustment in the Deformation Surveying.

The concept of standard error ellipse and confidence ellipse is vtilized in the detection of displaced station which are uncluded in the observational network. In this paper, the influences on the accuracy of unknown stations according to the varied selection and geometrical conditions of fixed stations were evaluated. And then the displaced stations were detected by error ellipse concept, and the amounts of displacement were determined by coordinate differences between epochs which were calculated by fixed point adjustment and free network adjustment. As a result, it is found that the free network adjustment is more efficient in the detection and displacement calculation of displaced stations.
