A Study on the Change of Slipperiness of Building Floor-coverings by Friction Wear

The purpose of this study presents useful data on the choice or development of floor covering from slip viewpoint by examining closely the impact of the changes in sliding experiments due to the wear of floor covering by walk. The result of wear practical test per ten thousand walks enforces some kind of popular floor covering and measure of coefficient of slip resistance as follows: (1) When surface of floor covering is in the state of wet, the degree of wear doesn`t affect greatly in slip. (2) When surface of floor covering is in dry and clean state, most floor coverings have the tendency to lower the coefficient of slip resistance with the amount of walk on it. (3) Change in the tendency of slip resistance by wear appeared mainly due to the differences in the state of floor covering and organic floor covering appeared to have great reduction of coefficient of slip resistance than the inorganic ones. (4) According to the result of investigation on changes in tendency of coefficient of slip resistance due to the increase in the number of walk and if two hundred thousand walks were done, regardless of surface shape or kind of site, etc, the safety of floor covering, in slip viewpoint, greatly reduces.
An Experimental Study on the Properties of Crushed Sand in Capital Region and Concrete according to the Replacement Ratio of Crushed Sand

Generally, aggregate may limit the workability, strength and durability of concrete, and good concrete cannot be made with aggregate of bad property including low strength, bad shape and grading. But recently, it has been insufficient in quantity to collect good natural aggregate because of exhaustion of aggregate resources. In case of Korea, the using ratio of crushed stone occupies about 97 percent of total coarse aggregate, and ratio of crushed sand occupies about 18.3 percent of total fine aggregate. This is an experimental study to compare and analyze the properties of crushed sand for concrete in capital region and concrete according to the replacement ratio of crushed sand to improve quality and mix design of concrete using crushed sand. According to test results, it was found that nearly all the properties of crushed sand satisfied with the value recommended by KS. And it is recommended that FM of crushed sand should be lowered by improvement of manufacture system or grading adjustment should be used because FM of crushed sand was a bit higher.

The construction of house in Korea firstly has been made up quantitative supply and margin of confined land until the latest. But, residents interest of living environment, demand of high-quality has varied with the latest elevation of life quality Specially, the interest for environment-friendly architecture is increased by the recent well-being trend in 2002, So, construction company and construction materials manufacturing industry are trying to offer more healthy and agreeable indoor aerial environment. Related circles do their best to commercialize and develop environment-friendly finish materials which influence indoor aerial environment. Therefore, in this study, that developing raw material and productive system that can minimize hazardous article quality discharge with formaldehyde in development of correction of deformities board such as plywood that is used mainly by a environment-friendly materials indoor finish, and examines application possibility of construction correction of deformities board through properties of matter examination by purpose, do.
A Study on Productivity of Foreign Labors in Domestic Apartment Construction Site -Focused on Evaluation of Productivity and Productivity Impediment Factor-

The Korean society faces a new issue of accepting foreign workers. Foreign labors in construction industry reached about 400,000 recently. Thus they have become one of the essential resources to fill up insufficient labor supplies in construction industry. And it is important how to manage foreign labors efficiently. However there are few studies focused on this subject. Purpose of this study is to research productivity of foreign labors in the domestic construction site. So investigate the value of foreign labors. Also this study forecast elements effect on foreign labors productivity in the construction industry. And research what element is more important to improve productivity and what element is more difficult to manage. In the result, this study is expected to prospect effective method of foreign labor`s management in the domestic construction industry, so contribute to utilize foreign labors more efficiently.
An Experimental Study on the Engineering Properties and Durability of Concrete According to the Fineness and Replacement Ratio of Blast-Furnace Slag

As a part of efforts for conformity of demand to high quality of concrete and for solution of economic problem, blast-furnace slag has been utilized by means of cement replacement. With utilization of blast-furnace slag, superior performance can be ensured, environmental pollution can be prevented and economical advantage can be obtained. But blast-furnace slag has a lot of disadvantages like retardation of strength manifestation etc. in field construction, so properties examination of concrete using blast-furnace slag instead of cement is necessary. For upper necessity, it is planed that basic data for utilization and performance management of blast-furnace slag by means of cement replacement is presented with experimental comparison and investigation of engineering properties of concrete according to the replacement ratio and fineness of blast-furnace slag.
A study on the economic analysis of high-rise residential-commercial building that is made by precast concrete

The increase of hish-rise residential-commercial buildings is required to cut down a term of works and the cost of construction. Reinforced concrete structures and steel framed reinforcement concrete that are commonly used have the difficulty in reducing them. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose a new precast concrete complex system and to analyze its economical feasibility. The economic analysis is performed through comparing the cost of a high-rise reinforced building that was already constructed with that of the new proposed precast concrete system, which is limited to structural frame work of typical floors. This study shows that the proposed precast concrete complex system is economical. Further research should be directed at including the influence of a term of works.
The Cost Saving Method on Each Building Phase by Analyzing the Cost Structure

Building costs means capital costs which include cost of land, costs of acquiring and preparing the site, construction costs, professional fees, furnishings, cost of financing the project. and cost of management required to run and maintenance the building for use. There are several phases that determine the building costs : design phase, construction phase, and operation & maintenance phase. So, the cost of work could be set against the examining the full range of complexities that a building program might contain. To solve this problem, it needs to compute building cost systematically. This is still in the development stage, awaiting the organization of rational cost data base. The method of cost saving by cost control could be constituted by detailed knowledge of building costs for all possible combinations of components and subsystems that can be assembled into integration model of cost factor on each phase of project development. The model of cost saving in each building phase is available for procedures of cost control of building systems.
A Study On Void Check for Top-Down Column Joint by Field Experiment

Classified with concrete as placing ways - direct ways, sheath way - and placing directing flange direction, web direction - is analyzed section and strength of hardened concrete. The results of this study is belows the more fluid of concrete, the more useful to top-down method. To minimize the voids of the reverse placement joints, It is more effect to use the sheath method than direct method in concrete placement. If the joint face is a plane, it is impossible to extract the air bubbles which caused voids, so we should consider about this, and decide to select which type of joints.
A Study on the Construction Cost Estimating System based on Historical Data in Apartment Housing

A Study on Application of Dyeing Industrial Heat Source Waste Aggregate as Concrete Aggregate

This study is as a part of the new disposal and recycling plans of heat-resource waste of Daegu dyeing industrial center we tried to examine applicable possibility of crushed thing(waste aggregate) as aggregates for mortar and concrete. To examine applicable possibility of waste aggregate as a lightweight-aggregate for concrete and mortar, we carried this study by mainly property examination of concrete according to replacement ratio of waste aggregate. We carried slump, unit weight, compressive strength and bending strength test according to replacement ratio of waste aggregate. As the result of that, if we use waste aggregate, lightweight of concrete and mortar will be possible. Specially it shows a strength improvement effect of cement hardening according to using this so it is judged that applicable possibility as aggregate for concrete and mortar is very excellent.
