A Study on the proposal of Strength Presumption Equation of Concrete Using Admixture by Nondestructive Testing

This study aims to estimate strength approximate to actual concrete strength by presenting appropriate non-destructive strength estimation expression with admixtures such as fly ash, blast furnace slag and silica fume which are used as cement substitute and owing to theirs of cement owing to their equal conditions to blending characteristics of concrete used for domestic structures and their recyclable properties. As a result of comparing error rate of existing expressions and this estimation expression, error rate of this estimation is reduced compared to existing expressions and has higher reliability. When conventional concrete expression is applied to admixture concrete, error rate occurs and then this study suggests the following estimation expressions depending on types of admixture concrete.
A Study on the Building of Remodeling Evaluation Model

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of remodeling business by predicting the future price of apartment house after remodeling using Hedonic Price Model. The data concerning such 9 independent variables as location, unit size, unit plan, landscape, parking, the number of elapsed years after completion, number of units, mechanical performance, interior from 25 regions in Seoul metropolitan city were collected and evaluated by established evaluation criteria. The coefficients affecting the price of apartment unit were made by Ivay of linear multi-regression and put into Hedonic Price Model. The feasibility evaluation model for apartment was made and verified by data of remodelled apartment. The predicted results using suggested evaluation model coincide with actual apartment market situations.
A Comparison Study Between Evaluation Methods on the Rheological Properties of Cement Paste

This study investigates the influence of various blending factors on cement paste fluidity and find out the most effective evaluation method of cement paste flow, comparing flow test apparatuses such as ring flow(R-F), flow cone(F-C) and mini slump(M-S). A viscometer also measures the rheology coefficients to secure faithful numerical data. Firstly, series I examines cement paste, affected by several cement products and mineral admixture types in the range of W/B 40%, ordinary fluidity, and W/B 30%, high fluidity. In this series, the three types of cement product depended on companies, are randomly used and the mineral admixture, such as fly ash, blast furnace slag and silica fume, are incorporated in the cement paste, in response to the ratio of 10, 20, to 30%, respectively. In addition, series II studies various chemical admixture types, affecting the cement paste. This series is carried out with manufacturing companies and component types in the range of W/C 30%, high fluidity. For the manufacturing companies, randomly four products are used and for the component types, polycaboxylate, melamine, naphthalene and lignosulfonate type are chosen. Test results showed that in the fluidity test of cement paste considering various types of blending factors, R-F exhibited similar tendency with F-C and M-S. In the analysis of consistency curves measured by viscometer, the fluidity evaluation method using flow test apparatuses was significantly effective, except for the some of the low fluidity specimens. In conclusion of this study, R-F was the most convenient, faithful and effective fluidity evaluation method of cement paste.
A Study on the Efficient Improvement of Standard Apartment Management Rules

The purpose of this study is to propose improved apartment management rules so that the inhabitants of apartment houses can manage their apartment in efficient and transparent manners. This study points out several problems of current management system and propose improved apartment management rules by analyzing misconducts of management office, related laws and regulations, standard apartment management rules, these and judicial decisions. Therefore, the inhabitants may refer to this study in establishment or amendment of their apartment management rules.
Development of Antimicrobial Concrete for Sewage Structures and Application to Construction Field

Sewage facilities are positively necessary for environment improvement such as rainwater removal, sewage disposal, preservation of the qualify of water and health of the citizens in present-day. Meanwhile, a deterioration of the concrete sewer pipe is increasing rapidly due to the chemical and physical attack and especially biochemical attack that is to say biodeterioration. In this study, researches for the development of antibiotics and antimicrobial concrete were conducted to reduce biochemical corrosion of sewage concrete. First of all, desired performance, such as watertightness, antibiosis, homogeneity, workability and harmlessness, was proposed and performance of antibiotics and antimicrobial concrete were evaluated by them. And developed antimicrobial concrete was applied to actual construction field. As results of this study, dispersibility and antibiosis of liquid antibiotics superior to powdery antibiotics. Antibiosis of antimicrobial concrete was verified, and amount of elution of harmful and effective ingredients was little. In workability, setting time of antimicrobial concrete was delayed. Compressive strength and resistance to carbonation of antimicrobial concrete were more increased than ordinary concrete. Finally, as there were no problems in quality and construction progress of antimicrobial concrete produced in plant, applicability of antimicrobial concrete to actual construction field was verified.
Estimation of Compressive Strength of Fly Ash Concrete subjected to High Temperature

In this paper, the estimation of compressive strength of concrete incorporating fly ash subjected to high temperature is discussed. Ordinary Portland cement and fly ash cement(30% of fly ash) were used, respectively. Water to binder ration ranging from 30% to 60% and curing temperature ranging from

According to results, at the high temperature, FAC had higher strength development at early age than OPC concrete and it kept its high strength development at later age due to accelerated pozzolanic reaction subjected to high temperature. For strength estimation, Logistic model based on maturity equation and Carino model based on equivalent age were applied to verify the availability of estimation model. It shows that fair agreements between calculated values and measured values were obtained evaluating compressive strength with logistic curve. The application of logistic model at high temperature had remarkable deviations in the same maturity. Whereas, the application of Carino model showed good agreements between calculated values and measured ones regardless of type of cement and W/B. However, some correction factors should be considered to enhance the accuracy of strength estimation of concrete.
An Experimental Study on the Engineering Properties of Concrete using Fine Aggregate of PS ball Slag

In this study, the experiment was carried out to investigate and analyze the engineering properties of concrete using fine aggregate of PS bal slagl. The main experimental variables were water/cement ratio 30, 40, 50(%), water content

According to the test results, the principle conclusions are summarized as follows (1) The workability of slag fine aggregate-mixed concrete tends to improve, as the replacement rate increases. (2) The air content of slag fine aggregate-mixed concrete tends to decrease, as the replacement rate increases. (3) The unit volume weight of slag fine aggregate-mixed concrete tends to significantly increase, as the replacement rate increases. (4) The compressive strength of slag fine aggregate-mixed concrete tends to show more increasing propensity, in case the curing period is relatively long, as the replacement rate increases.
A study on the estimate of construction management cost for public construction project in the CM for fee contract

This study is aimed to get clear model for CM fee level in public construction project. For the practical use and main target, CM for fee contract only is assessed and analysed. Cost estimate by percentage of total contract sum and method based on the historical construction data have significant deficiency. An regression model and probabilistic model are suggested with 9 independent variables. In the case of limited work scope, an element based floor area model is suggested and concluded with fish-bone scheme.

In these days, as building structures are getting taller, larger, and more diversified, structural systems with more economy and more efficiency are being required and so are more efficient building materials, this study conducted a basic experiment to conclude an adequate selection of materials and to calculate an optimal mixing proportion of those materials to produce High-strength concrete in a 100MPa of specified concrete strength. And also we conducted an experiment to find out basic properties of this concrete such as slump-flow, strength.
