A Study on 2-D Occluded Objects Recognition and Hidden Edge Reconstruction Using Polygonal Approximation and Coordinates Transition

This paper presents an experimental model-based vision system which can identify and locate objects in scenes containing multiple occluded parts. The objects are assumed to be rigid and planar parts. In any recognition system the-type of objects that might appear in the image dictates the type of knowledge that is needed to recognize the object. The data is reduced to a sequential list of points or pixels that appear on the boundary of the objects. Next the boundary of the objects is smoothed using a polygonal approximation algorithm. Recognition cosists in finding the prototype that matches model to image. Now the hidden edge is reconstructed by transition model objects into occluded objects. The best match is obtained by optimising some similarity measure.
Direct-Detection, Analysis of the point-detector arrays used in optical communication

This paper describesl the point-detector arrays system to processes the field of signal and noise of the turbulent atmosphere or variance and covariance circuit. By using the aboves, the maximum output of direct-detection shows a little differences between experimental datas. As a whole the experimental data datas are agreed with the joint Gaussian theoretical curves.
A Study on the Command/File Server for INS

Data, distributed and/or duplicated among multiple computers interconnected by a LAN, need to be managed consistently and accessed transparently by users. A command/file server, named UTP, which meets the preceding needs was developed for supermini-computers which are interconnected by an Ethernet-based LAN and run under UNIX OS.
D-channel protocol application for NT2 function with small concentration and it's implementation using general O.S

With the introduction of ISDN network, the D channel protocol has bee defined as a signalling method for ISDN user-network interface. Therefore the NT2(Network Termination 2) which carry out concentration and switching function, must process the D channel related information. This paper describes how the D channel protocoal is applied and implented in a small ISDN subscriber concentrating system that has NT2 functions. The application protocol proposed is addressed taking into consideration the compatibility with ISDN standard facilities, TE(Terminal Equipment) or ET(Exchange Terminator), This protocol has been implementes using a general multitask operating system and it has the features of the minimized information processing and the simpified algorithm which are suitable for a small system. Its application programs are divided into various tasks to facilitate the addition and the modification of function. In this paper, we briefly outline the protocol defined in CCITT and show the application protocol that has fitted in a small concentrating system with NT2 functions. Also we present the experimental results and implementation method of this protocol.

A Study on the Performance Improvement of Digital Phase-Locked Loop Using a Half Period Sampling

In this paper, an all Digital Phase-Locked Loop(DPLL) has been propoed, which has reduced the phase error by using a half period sampling in order to improve the performance of the conventional DPLL which tracks the phase of incoming sinusoidal signal once per cycle for the Positive Going Zero crossing(PGZC) of the signal. The proposed DPLL tracks the phase of input signal twice per cycle with two samplers for the PGZC. So the loop has a half reduction of the steady state phase error fluctuation ranges without decreasing the lock-range in a whole, comparing with that of the conventional DPLL. Also, it has been known that the proposed loop is rapidly locked to input signal for the same valves of phase differenc between sucessive samples and quantization level. The analytic results of the proposed loop have been verified by computer simulation for the practically requeired conditions.
The Development of Programmable Controller Using Binary-Decision Method

The Binary Decision method can evaluate any switching function in the number of steps not exceeding the number of input variables. A Binary Decision Programmable Controller module is designed using this method so as to improve scan speed. A compiler system is also developed to relieve the memory problem which the Binary Decision method entails. A communication channel between MDS and BD-PC modules is also constructed to load the compiled BD-PC object program into the memory of BD machine.
A Study on the PWM Controller of DC-AC Inverter using the Multiprocessor System

In this paper, the 2-level and 3-level types of PWM technique have been analyzed, and a multiprocessor has been designed as controller for these two types of PWM inverters. Designed multiprocessor employing a hierarchical structure of a SUPERVISORY PROCESSOR which interconnects three LOCAL PROCESSOR through a common memory technique has showed as elaborate digital control characteristic. Using this multiprocessor configuration the system could gain a great degree of freedom in change of software. Also software was simpler than a single processor configuration.
An Improvement in Adaptive Estimation for a Tracking System with Additive Measurement Impulse noise

An adaptive estimation system which operates propoerly in the environments corrupted by additive impulse noise in addition to the white Gaussian noise has been proposed. A feed forward loop is inserted into the adaptive estimator proposed by R. L. Moose for a system with an unknown measurement bias by which the improved adaptive estimator is processed successfully without the sum of the time varying weights being zero even when the measurement system is added impulue noise. Successfully processed adaptive estimator has been obtained under the large impulse noise in addition to randomly varying unknown biases condition by giving sufficient large value to the elements of discrete vector on the computer simulation.
A Study on the two phase sinusoidal voltage Controlled Oscillator with Low Distortion

Two phase voltage controlled oscillation was realized by using the Electronic analog simulation of nonlinear simultaneous 2st order equation in terms of vibration and it's usefullness was sustined. Sinde it is complex and expensive to implement the circuits actually which composits and multiplicate the two phase signal squared respectively, this paper is obtained the simplificotion and switching circuit. The circuit introducced in this paper had propotionality of frequency to control input voltage, rapid response time, and little phase error, also this circuit operated with very low THD(Total Harmonic Distortion) and constant amplitude at higher than 10 :1 of frequency ratio.
A Study on the Frequency Hopping Code Division Multiple Access System

In this paper, Modified system of the asynchronous repeat FH/MFSK transmission system is proposed. By transmitting data bits less that address bits, we can improue the system performance, we have evaluated the probability of word error of modified system and compared with the conventional system. And it is found that the modified system shows the improved performance. Also the structure of the receiver is remarkably simplified with the comparison of the conventional system.
