A Study on the Frequency Response Representation of Filter Network by Bondgraph Modeling

This paper present an analysis of filter network using bondgraph technique for the determination of cofficients of filter function not by means of Computations operation. The proposed bondgraph technique is confirmed to be suitable for obtaining the frequency response characteristics of filter network.
Design and Impementation of File Transfer Protocol Through Public Network

This paper presents the design and implementation of a File Transfer Protocol between PC's which are connected through public network. The file handling system was implemented under 3B20S/UNIX which has connections to IBM-PC under MS-DOS. In designing the Protocol we use Kerimit Protocol which supports a file transfer between several kinds of PC's, and we extended the Kermit Protocol to have window function and file managing system. Users prepare data at PC and are able to send it to host computer and can receive, inquire, and delete file in host computer.
A Study on the Analysis and Design of 16-BIT ALU by Using SPICE

This paper present a new design concept of a single chip 16-bit data path using the concept of modular design, the whole system is divided into several blocks which can be operated as an independent system itself. Making the internal blocks can act as a subsystem, it is possible to shorten design turn-around time, to be redesigned effectively, and to optimize the system performance. The designed system is data path. The data path is to manipulate 16-bit integer data. It is composed of aritmetic logic unit, register file, barrel shifter and bus circuit. The widths and lengths of gate in the circuit were determined using SPICE2. The results of circuit simulation were in good agreement with expected circuit characteristics.
An Acceleration Control Type of DC Servo-motor for Stiffness Improving

DC servo motor has been often used as the position control system, because the performance is excellent on the velocity and position control system. When the unknow disturbance and accessible load torque are imposed on the position control of DC servo motor, this system has the steady and/or transient state error. In this paper, a new method which has high stiffness for reducing the error is proposed. This error will be reduced by acceleration control. The effectiveness of the acceleration control is confirmed by using computer simulation.
A Study on Fast 2-D DCT Using Hadamard Transform

In this paper, A new 2-D DCT algorithm is proposed to reduce the computational amount of transform operation using the distribution of the motion compensated error signal and the bit allocation table. In the this algorithm, 2-D Walsh-Hadamard transform is directly computed and then multiplied by a constant matrix. Multiplications are concentrated on the final stage in thie algorithm, thus the computational amount is reduced in proportion to the number of transform coefficients that are excluded from quatization. The computational amount in computing only the DCT coefficients allocated to the bit allocation table is calculated. As the result, the number of multiplications is less thn the algorithm known to have the fewest number of computations when less than 0.6 bits per pixel are allocated to tranform coding for the motion compensated error image in the case of the proposed algorithm. Thus, it shows that the proposed algorithm is valid in reducing the computational loads of transform coding.
An Analysis of Load Current for Cascaded Transmission Line Excited by External Plane Wave

This paper presents the formulas for load currents of a cascaded transmission line excited by external plane wave using Smith's method for EMI currents of a single transmission line. Calculating under the condition that the lines having same characteristic impedence are cascaded, numerical results of this study are well agreed with those of Smith and show the fact that as the width and length of the line reduced to 1/10 respectively, the load-EMI currents decreased by about 40dB.
A Study on the Performance of the Bandwidth Allocation Strategies for the Wideband ISDN

In this paper, the performances of bandwidth allocation strategies for wideband ISDN have been studied through the computer simulation. In general, the performance of multichannel bandwidth allocation method is superior to that of single channel bandwidth allocation method with respect to the throughtput, delay and blocking probability. Also, when the FIFO service scheme is used, it is shown that the throughput, delay characteristics and blocking probability for each traffic are almost similar. On the other hand, the priority service scheme being used, the performances of traffic with high priority are much better than that of traffic with low priority in the view of throughput, delay and blocking probability. Finally, for the FIFO and priority service disciplines, it can be seen that the multichannel bandwidth allocation method is more suitable than the single channel bandwidth allocation strategy in the case of serving various traffic.
The Technology of Sloped Wall SWAMI for VLSI and Analysis of Leakage Current

This paper present new scheme for a Side Wall Masked Isolation(SWAMI) technology which take all the advatages provided by conventional LOCOS process. A new SWAMI process incorporates a sloped sidewall by reactive ion etch and a layer of thin nitride around the side walls such that both intrinsic nitride stress and volume expansion induced stress are greatly reduced. As a fabricate results, a defect-free fully recessed zero bird's beak local oxidation process can be realized by the sloped wall anisotropic oxide isolation. No additional masking step is required. The leakage current of PN diodes of this process were reduced than PN diode of conventional LOCOS process. On the other hand, the edge junction part was larger than the flat juction part in the density of leakage current.
A Study on the Implementation of Frequency Hopping Binary Noncohrent FSK Tranceiver

This paper investigates the design of a frequency hopping FSK tranceiver system, where the system enhancements are made in the following three aspects: dual frequency synthesiszation for the increased hopping rate, linearization of VCO gain in PLL to improve BFSK modulation characteristics, and fast code synchronization by the matched filter method.
