A Study on the Standard Assesement of Tariff Rates for Local Originating EM Wave

In this paper, we deal with the standard assesement of tariff rates for the locally originating electro-magnetic wave. By the propagation theroy. VIIF and the higher band are propagated within the line of sight and don't regarded with the orthers national property. If we use the EM wave for the telecommunication and other application shall be pay a utillzation trariff rate, reference for the assesement is caused by space division, frequency band requirement and utillizatilized interval period. If a rate of telecommunication leased line fee is impposed by using this one, and then reduotion rate are applied with public utility, total amout of incoming accont is guessed about ensured come govemental ppproppperty. It wiil task a ptomotive capitals for EM wave development.
A Study on the Identification of the Standardized Modulation Type for the Telephone Channel

In this paper, the characteristics of MODEM with the low and medium transmission rate which are recommended by the international organization such as CCITT have been studied and the features of the telephone channel have been investigated. Then three kinds of classification algorithm for the modulated signals have been suggested and their performance have been researched through the computer simulation. In case that the channel is ideal, the modulated type such as FSK, PSK and QAM could be detected correctly. Moreover, when the modulated signals are received through the telpehone channel or noisy channel, it could be seen that the performance of the correlation algorithm is superior to that of other two algorithms because of the correlation being robust to the characteristics of telephone chanel and Gasussian noise, although the performances of the two classification algorithm using the peak and phase difference, signal constellation and so on decrease rapidly as the amplitude distortion, delay distortion and Gaussian noise increase.
Locally Optimum Detection of Signals and Its Fuzzy Set Theoretic Extension

In this paper, various results on Iocally optimum detection of signals are reviewed concisely, which are easlily apphcable to weak signal detection problems. In addition, locally optmum rank detection schemes for weak signals are reviewed, which are nonparametric counterparts of the locally optimum detecturs. Examples of practical applications, problems in implementation dnd performance characteristecs of the locally optimum detectors are also discussed, Finally, a fuzzy extension of the generalized Neyman Pearson lemma is briefly discussd.
A Study on Type Classification and Subpattern Extraction Using Structural Information of Radical in Printed Hanja

This paper proposes a new classification algorithm using characteristic and structural information of printed Hanja as preliminary stages of Hanja-character recognition. Hanja is difficult for not only recognition but classification as many character and complicated structure. In this paper, to solve thie problem, extracted common subpattern in classified pattern after processing type classification fot Hanja pattern. First, we extracted subpattern, after we process preprecessing about input of character pattern, extracting directional segment, labeling on 4-directional pattern and 12 type classified using structural information based on the subpattern existing region of character pattern. Though the experiment, this study obtained that classified rate of Hanja is 93.07% on 1800 character of educational Hanja and 90.12% on 4888 character of KS C5601 standard TRIGEM LBP Hanja font and saw that as extracting subpattern at classified data was this paper possibly applied to the recognition.
Performance Analysis of Adaptive Equalization in the Frequency Selective Fading Channel

In this paper, ISI cancellation capabilites in the frequency selective fading channels of the equalizer emplouing individual tap LMS(ITLMS) algorithm and of th equalizer using the lattice structure have been investigated through the computer simulations in terms of bit error rate and convergence speed.
A Study on the Cancellation of Harmonic Noise for the Improvement of Data Transmission Characteristics in Power Line Channel

In this paper, power line harmonic noise which is the most serious problem in the secondary power distribution line is eliminated and analyzed using adaptive noise cancellers with two adaptive algorithms, LMS and individual tap LMS(ITLMS) algorithm. To testify the improvement of data transmission characteristics made by the adaptive filter with two adaptive algorithms, BER was measured in DS spread spectrum communication system including the noise canceller.
Design of New Hybrid-Ring Directional Coupler Using λ/6 Sections

Methods of Random Signal Detection with Rank Statistics : Part I. The One-Sample Case

A detection scheme wiich has based in rank statistic is obtained for detection of random signals in additive noise. It is shown that the detector has similarities to the locally optimum detector for random signals and that it is a generalization of the locally optimum rank detector for known signals. Performance of the detector is also considered together with that of other detectors.
