Jitter Due to Stuffing Synchronization for Synchronous Network

The new synchronous hierarchy with abase signal near 150Mbit/s will become the international standards. An asynchronous video signal will be transmitted in the synchronous network with stuffing synchronization technique. In this study an estimate of power spectrum and effective values of the stuffing jitter signals under the influence of system parameters were obtained. The results show that the real stuffing jitter is greater than the ideal stuffing jitter.
Study on the Design of Mach-Zehnder Type GaAs Waveguide Electro-Optic Modulator

Mach-Zehnder type GaAs elcetro-optic waveguide modulator has been designed in this paper.The modulator. Considered is based on the Mach-Zehnder interferometer configuration, consisting of two Y branch couping rib type waveguides formed in two epitaxial layers on GaAs substrate. The mode theory on waveguides and electo-optic effect of GaAs were utilized to determine the design parameters for the modulator proposed. Effective index method was applied to design the of waveguide supporting a single mode were calculated to achieve the optimized operation of the modulator. Considering interrelationships between many parameters.
Voice Traffic Estimation using Kalman-filtering and Performance Evaluation of a Circuit Switched Network with Grid Topology

In this paper, we have estimated voice traffics using Kalman-filtering for upcoming years and evaluated performance of a grid topology circuit switched network using above outcomes. Since measurement errors and modeling errors are considered in Kalman-filtering, the system is estimated more accurately than by using any other estimation methods. A grid topology circuit switched network has alternative routing paths, therefore it is more reliable than any other networks. In this paper, we have calculated the call blocking probabilities, which is the key measuremens of performance evaluation in circuit switched networks. by using estimated voice traffics for upcoming years.
Theoretical Analysis of Digital PLL

By setting a new model to describe the time-discontinuous operation of PLL loop which used tri-state and sample-hold method, the stability analysis of nonlinear PLL has been performed in z-domain and the state equations for the transient response has been introduced. Until now, the lin-ear analysis by approximation of time-discontinuous to time-continuous operation had not found then stable region of time-discontinuous digital PLL exactly. However, the analysis In z-domain by the new model has been found the unstable region where the time-continuous analysis had have not. 1'herefore the limit of loop coefficient has been computed to design digital PLL optimally
A Study on the Phoneme Segmentation Using Neural Network

In this paper, we proposed a method of segmenting speech signal by neural network and its validity is proved by computer simulation. The neural network Is composed of multi layer perceptrons with one hidden layer. The matching accuracies of the proposed algorithm are measured for continuous vowel and place names. The resulting average matching accuracy is 100% for speaker-dependent case, 99.5% for speaker-independent case and 94.5% for each place name when the neural network 1,; trained for 6 place names simultaneously.
Object Recognition Using Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System

In this paper, the neuro-fuzzy inferene system for the effective object recognition is studied. The proposed neuro-fuzzy inference system combines learning capability of neural network with inference process of fuzzy theory, and the system executes the fuzzy inference by neural network automatically. The proposed system consists of the antecedence neural network, the consequent neural network, and the fuzzy operational part, For dissolving the ambiguity of recognition due to input variance in the neuro-fuzzy inference system, the antecedence’s fuzzy proposition of the inference rules are automatically produced by error back propagation learining rule. Therefore, when the fuzzy inference is made, the shape of membership functions os adaptively modified according to the variation. The antecedence neural netwerk constructs a separated MNN(Model Classification Neural Network)and LNN(Line segment Classification Neural Networks)for dissolving the degradation of recognition rate. The antecedence neural network can overcome the limitation of boundary decisoion characteristics of nrural network due to the similarity of extracted features. The increased recognition rate is gained by the consequent neural network which is designed to learn inference rules for the effective system output
Implementation of SGML Basic Parser

This paper describes on implementation of SGML(Standardized General Markup Language )parser, which can analize SGML documents and its DTD(Document Type Deflnitton) defined according to the SGML( ISO 8879) .We have constructed a yacc definition file to present the rules of SGML DTD and documents, by which incoming SGML DTD and documents can be parsed Into the appropriate tokens. with the tokens a database with the stuctures such as entity table, element table and so on is built to vali-date the logical structure of the inconung SGML documents. The additional functions of this parser Include the automatic transforminng of the incoming documents with the short references into the complete SGML documents. Several test SGML documents have tested to clarify an implementation of this parser and experimental results are satisfactory.
Design of ALGaAs/GaAs HBT CML Logic Circuit

AIGaAs /GaAs HBT OR /NOR gate. which can be used for high speed digital system was designed. Equivalent circuit parameters of HBT were obtained from Gummel-Poon's model and direct extraction method. Simulation results with PSPI CE showed that propagation delay time and cutoff toggle frequency of designed gate were 25ps and 200Hz, respectively. the designed gate exhibited superior properties to the recently reported HBT ECL and MESFET SCFL when considering the fan-out characteristics and noise margin.
A Study on IGBT inverter for sinusoidal wave output PAM type

this paper a new PAM-PWM Inverter using IGBT Is described. The output waveforms in the proposed PAM-PWM inverter are investigated both theoretiically and experimentally. The line-voltage waveform is composed of fundamental component and the sidebands of carrier frequency. The lower order harmonics are not included In the output waveform. As each inverter arm does not operate during two-thirds period, the heats, generated in the devices are reduced. That is the size of the inverter system can be minimized because of the reduction In the heat dissipating equipemnt
A Study on the Design of High speed LIne Memory Circuit for HDTV

Recently, image signal processing techniques for HDTV signal have been drastically developed. This kind of skill improvement on signal processing need specific memory device for video signal. in this paper, data latch scheme which implements CMOS flip-flop to hold Information from in-put strobe and new reading method is devised to attain a proper access time suitable for HDTY signal. Compared with conventional write scheme, data latch method has two procedures to complete write operation : bit line write and storage cell write, enabling concurrent I /0 operation at the same address. Also, fast read access is possible through the method similar to static column mode and the separated read word line.
