A Study on Performance Analysis for Design of Terminal Server

The Input /output (I /0) subsystem is often the bottleneck in high performance computer system. Generally, system performance evaluation models were enhanced to include the effect of the I/0 system. In this paper, we modeled the terminal servers which are Indispensable devices In distribution of computer resources. We use M /M /1 Queueing model for find out the point of the system performance FIFO buffer sizes In the terminal server arc the Important fanctions of the system design and could be effected to the overall system functions. We have proposed the of optimal buffer sizes in the model of terminal server for increasing the system performance. We analizing the vatting time for terruanl server using Queueing model. and We find out the reference model result from simulation.
A Test Using Fuzzy Observations and Its Application

The generalized Neyman-Pearson lemma Is reformulated In the framework of the fuzzy set theory. Based on the result, we define the locally optimum fuzzy test and derive the locally optimum fuzzy test function. As a pratical application of the locally optimum fuzzy test, detection of weak deterministic signals corrupted by purely-adative noise Is considered, which Is an important problem In statistical signal processing. Comparisons between the locally optimum and the locally optimum fuzzy tests are also made
A Design of a Register Insertion Backbone Ring Network

This paper presents a design of a backbone network which uses a rigister-Insertion ring structure, The introduction of a high speed register in sertton backbone ring enables high performance inter-network 4ommunicatlons In a simple and modular structure at low cost and Its concurrent communications.. Two or more bridge nodes can be used to construct a register Insertion backbone ring network. The high bandwidth of the backbone ring sup ports heavy traffic for Inter-segment Eornrnunicatlons. The bridge node does both local address filtering to block data entering the ring and remote address filtering to block data entering the local LAN segment . Title local address greatly reduces the rate on the backbone ring and the remote address filterlng greatly reduces the traffic rate on each LAN segment. An feature makes the network the network reconflguratlon simpler and transparent to users. A throughput analysis Is used to deterrune the bandwidth of the backbone rlr)g transmission medium.
Input-Output Decoupling Control of Multivariable System with Robustness against Feedback Loop Failure

In this paper, robust decoupling control scheme of miftivarlable systems Is studied. Design methods for Input-Output decoupling systems with robustness against signal failure In arbitrary feedback loop or actuator loop Is suggested based on the Riccati type matrix equation and state feedback, and is simulated In Turbo-Generator systems with B-Input, 2 output. The results of simulation represents the decoupled and stable response against the failure of signal In sensor or actuator loop. However, the system designed by conventional ,it ate feedback shows the unstable response. This method Is applied for robust decoupling control of the complicated multivariable systems.
A Study on the Propagation Characteristics of a Trapezoidal-Shaped Segmented Core Single Mode Fiber

In this paper, propagation characteristics of trapezoidal-shaped segmented core single mode fibers is investigated theoretically as a function of relative Index difference ratio( =p) under the condition of zero dispersion at i=1.,isrm, and bending loss of trape zoidalshaped segmented core single mode fiber is greatly decreased less than that of conventional single mode fibers ( triangular Index, dual shape core). And mode field distribution In core Is confined 2H% stronger than that of a tapezoidal Index fiber In addition, the advantages of trapezoldal-shaped segmented core fibers are compared with t hose of conventional triangular -shaped segmented core fibers
A Study on Modeling Gateway for Interworking Between Local Area Network and ISDN

Computer and communication network of the future will be the ISDN that enable various services. And now, it Is very Important to study the relevalent techniques to develop Interworking methods between existing computer network and ISDN The purpose of this paper Is to provide necessary basic He search results on the Interworkting method between local area network (LAN) and ISDN. For Interworking, we analyze the characteristic of existing LAN and ISDN and discuss considerations of Interworking and suggest the interworking method for CO and CL services. Also. we construct logical gateway for Interworking betwen LAN and ISDN and make formairnodeling of gateway using Petri net and verify the correctness of protocol with reachability tree. Research results should be helpful In designing and Implementing gateway between i()cal computer network and I SDN
Coded Performance of FH/BFSK Communication Systems with Partical Band Jamming

This paper shows the performance of FH /BFSK communication systems under worst case Jamming interference. The channel Is modeled with ratio-threshold technique, and as a lamming signal the tone Jamming and Gaussian Jamming are used. The performance is analyzed by using the channel capacity which is the code rate and bit signal-to-Jammer ratio, and we show that the performance degration becomes large as background noise Is big and obtain the best performance when the threshold level f is about 1.5
A Proposal of Descent Multi-point Search Method and Its Learning Algorithm for Optimum Value

In this paper, the decrease multipoint search method and Its learning algorithm for optimum value computatlon method of object function Is proposed. Using this method, the number of evaluation point according to searching time can t)e reduced multipoint of the direct search method by applying the unlivarlate method. And the learning algorithm can reprat the same search method in a new established boundary by using the searched result. In order to Investigate the efficience of algorithm, this method this method is applied to Rosenbrock and Powell, Colvelle function that are Impossible or uncertain in traditional direct search method. And the result of application, the optimum value searching oil every function Is successful. Especially, the algorithm is certified as a good calculation method for producing global(absolute) optimum value.
Contruction of Simulator for Cooperative Multi-Robot Motions

In this paper, the graphic simulation system Is presented which supports the determination of efficient multi-robot motions during cooperation. For the construction of the simulation software for multi robot motions, two problems are described. First problem is that all the robot motions must be determined using both the desired object motions and the holonomic constraints with the object. To find the robot motions combined with the various object motion path, the robot motions are derived from the desired object path instead of a master robot path. There ore, robot motions can be easily modifiable with #he various object motions. This type of motion determination Is different from that of the master-slaves method using the master robot motions.
Design of High Gain Differential Amplifier Using GaAs MESFET's

In this paper, a circuit design techniques for Improving the voltage gain of the GaAs MESFET single amplifier is presented. Also, various types of existing current mirror and proposed current mirror of new configuration are compared. To obtain the high differential mode gain and low common mode gain, bootstrap gain enhancement technique Is used and common mode feedback Is employed In the design of differential amplifier. The simulation results show that designed differential amplifier has differential gain of 57.66dB, unity gain frequency of 23.25GHz. Also, differential amplifier using common mode feedback with alternative negative current mirror has CMRR of 83.S8dB, stew rate of 3500 V /\ulcorners.
A Study on the Comparison of Digital Speech Coding Performance

Resonable speech quality assessment methodologies are required for speech quality assessment model which is used at speech system and communication network. There are objectlve measuies and subjective measures and subjective measure has the variousproblems in speech quality assessment methodologies. The objective of this study is to compare objective measures with subjective measure and obtain the objective measure as close as possible to subjective measure.
An Iterative Image Restoration

A local iterative Image restoration method Is Introduced that processes with varying iteration numbers according to the local statistics. In general almost of the Iterative method applies Its algorithm to the whole Image without considering the local pixel informations, which Is not so effective for the processing time. Usually the edges or details have an Important role In visual effect. So in this paper we process the edges or the details many times while In the flat region we just pass over or decrease iterations. This method shows good MSE (Mean Square Error) improvement, better subjective qualify and reduced processing time.
A Study of CMOS Latch-Up by Layout Dependence

This paper deals with a detailed analysis of CMOS latch up dependancies on the layout and geo-metrical demensions on the mask using same materials and same processes. For this purpose, six different layout models depending upon the N+ / P+ spacing and three different guard ring models have been gesigned, fabricated, and tested. As a result, common emitter current gain, shunt resistance, and holeing current versus N+/P+ spacing have been measured and analyzed experimentally. Also the fact that guard ring is sffective in reducing the latchup possibility has been verified through this study.
