A Study on the Airborne PCM Telemetry System

The object of this paper is to investigate a PCM telemetry system which is designed and constructed in individual modules for an airborne remote measurement system for the first time in Korea. The time division multiplexing PCM encoder has maximum allowable input channels 64 words/frame, 140kbits/sec bit rate. 200frames/sec and 10 bits/wod resolution. And the transmitting unit is designed for 2.2-2.3GHz(s-band) telemetry frequency band, PCM/FM modulation. The Study of airborne PCM telemtry system contribute to develop a device which can acquire various technical data of newly developing flying vehicles by remote measurement. The performance of the proposed system has been verified through a seguence of tests.

This paper is dealing a
metal oxide glass semiconductor. This semiconductor is easy to fabricate in the atmospheric condition at relatively low temperature. The element is made like a bead, and platinum segments are used as electrodes. Other kind of metal withstanding high temperature near 1000C can also be used as electrode. Experiment verifies that the fabricated element has the resistance in the order of about ~
, and shows negative resistance characteristics and switching characteristics with respect to temperature. An equivalent circuit of the element is proposed based on its electrical characteristcs.
Electromagnetic Scattering by a Plasma Column Moving in the Perpendicular Direction to Its Axis

Scattering of obliquely incident plane electromagnetic waves by an isotropic plasma coumn which is moving uniformly in the perpendicular direction to its axis is treated analytically on the basis of Lorentz transform and boundary conditions. The scattered field, the total scattering cross-section, the rader cross-section, and the angular distribution of the scattered power for the incident plane waves polarized arbitrarily are derived to find the function of the moving velocity of the plasma column and of the angle of the incident plane waves and to find the scattered field of the H-waves more distinguishable than the E-waves.

This paper describes object-based operating system to suppeor relability and abstract data type. For reliability, all objects should be accessed through access rights in capability, and the protection domain is provided for all program modules such that efficient domain switching can be achieved. For abstract data type, type manager is provided.
A Study on Computer Aided VLSI System Design

In this paper I have proposed a heuristic layout algorism which is important in the CAD system of VLSI. I have designed a placement algorism to be used the method which depends upon the synthetic judgment of human. The placement algorism can reflect the position of a module in a logical design circuit diagram drawn up by human beings. Also, in order to show the usefulness of the new method I have compared through a program experiment it with the former method of cluster development placement. Moreover, a routing algorism is proposed in order to reduce the excessive problem of memory capacity. Of course this new algorism compensates for the former Maze's defects.
Analysis of a Two Stable Multi-Vibrator using a Tunnel Diode Pair Circuit

The characteristic of a Tunnel Diode(TD) is approximated by the summation of two exponential terms, obtained from the haracteristic curves displayed on the curve tracer. Using this result, static characteristic of a TD pair was plotted by a computer programming. From these static characteristic curves, the triggering behavior of TC pair multi-vibrators was described graphically. Two stable characteristics were analyzed by piecewise linear Method. Theoritical switching Theoritical switching times of a TD pair flip-flop(F-F) circuits were compared with experimental results.
