The Analysis and Development of Telecommunication Tariffs for the Realization of Information Society in Korea

The tariff rate of telecommunication networks in Korea is analyzed and the plans for the realization of information society is suggested on this basis. The influence of the cost-down of telecommunication networks construction, the decentralization plan of telecommunication traffics and offer of new services on the decision of telecommunication tariff rate are also descussed here.
A Study on Narrow band Interference Rejection in PN-SS System

The performance of direct-sequence spread spectrum(DS-SS) receiver may be enhanced by using the digital whitening filter. In this paper, the hard limited feedback whitening filter that whiten the interference and noise alone is proposed to obtain the additional resistance to narrowband interference. The recursive solution for the calculation of tap weights is presented and the expression for SNR and BER is derived and compared with the conventional digital whitening filter. As the result of computer simulation it is proved that the error performance is improved considerably.
On the Fault Diagnosis in a Redundant Digital System

In this paper, a functional m-redundant system, which is m-fault tolerant, is defined based on the graph-theory. This system is designed to be t(t
m) fault-diagnosable by comparing its unit's outcomes without additive test functions, so, the system down for diagnosis is not needed. The diagnostic model for this system is presented. It is to avail the redundancy of the system effectively. It is shown that this model can be converted into Preparata's model. Thus, the diagnostic characteristics of a functional m-redundant system is analyzed by the method originated by Preparata et al.
A Study on Stability of Two-Dimensional Digital Filters

In this paper, the method of the stability test of the Two-Dimensional digital filters is developed. The Liepunov's stability theorem of One-Dimensional discrete system is extended to Two-Dimensional digital filter transfer function which can be transformed twodimensional state space representation. The results developed above is agreed with of mapping method.
A Design of Kalman Gain for the State Estimator with Pre-specified Eigenvalues

This paper, with the linear multivariable systems as a model, proposes a method of evaluating the Kalman gain of the state estimator according to the shifting of poles in the system. The stochasic probability of the process and measurement noise is assumed to be identical to the stationary process. The proposed method, based on the diagonalized system, is easy to implement computationally if the correspondence between the poles of the estimator and the response of the system can be determined. Finally several examples are given to confirm and illustrate proposed method derived here.
UUCP-Based Dial-up Network

The UUCP program of either 4.1BSD or 4.2BSD version has been implemented to run under the System Development Network(SDN). This allows file transfers, remote command executions and mail transfers among UNIX systems. The major tasks are: developing dial-up capabilities, connections to domestic and international computer networks such as SDN, USENET and EUNET.
