A Study on the Composition of Compact Code using Octal-Compact Mapping Technique

According to rapid developments in data communication, we have being used every infromation with ease. In receiving and transmitting the infromation acquired, it is being needed to transmit it with minimizing bits if possible. Therefore this paper suggests the efficient coding system, that is, OCM(Octal-Compact Mapping) technique. In case of average-case, it has 3.5bytes in entropy with 8 symbols. This means it is compressed more than at least 1 byte as compared with another coding techniques. It decreases the redundancy of data and is superior to another data compression techniques.
On a Configuration of the Model Reference Adaptive Control Systems -Adaptive Observer-

The motivation in this paper is in obtaining an adaptive observer with simple configuaration and faster adapting speed. The identification and state estimation are seperated to increase the adapting speed of the adaptive observer. The method of identification proposed by Ichikawa is modified. And the adaptive observer is constructed by using the output of state variable filters that are used in identification. Finally, the digital simulation results to the proposed system are presented.
Electromagnetic Scattering by a Dielectric Column Oscillating in the Perpendicular Direction to its Axis

In the scattering of a monochromatic plane wave from a dielectric column oscillating sinusoidally prependicular to its axis, one could assume that the boundary moves with a uniform velocity equal to its instantaneous oscilaating velocity. The scattered fields are abtained according to the postulates of special relativitiy and extended for the osdillating period. The angle distribution of average scattering radiation, the average of total scattering cross sections and radar cross sections for a period are illustrated as the function of the relative maximum oscillating velocity and the incident angles of plane waves.
A Study on the Low Noise Delta Codec System

In this paper, there is presented the novel encoder circuit design method in the realization of exponential adaption process on the delta modulation coding of speech signals. The digital implementation has been adapted for the illustration of above, especially using a rate multiplier end a double integration circuit. The use of a double integration of the local decoder included in the ADM encoder in prove the undesirable characteristics which the low switching speed of the ratemultiplier couses the SQNR to decreuse, and the SQNR of the decoding signal by above realization is relatively uniformed in wide range of signal levels. The validity of the above design is verified by laboratory experiments.
A Study on the Incoherent Optical Vector-Matrix Multiplier(IOVMM)using a LED array

The IOVMM(Incoherent Optical Vector Matrix Multiplier) is constructed, which can process much information very fast by incogerent light source, and its experimental results are compared with the theoretical values. The input vector and matirx elements are limited to the positive number in this paper. The input vector is made by the LED array and the matrix is encoded on the film by the area modulation method. The result of the vector-matrix multiplication is detected by the photodiode array through the lens system. The analog multiplexer is used for looking at output signal on one channel.
A Study on the Operation of the Class E High-Efficiency Tuned Power Amplifier

This paper presents an exant analysis of the class E tuned power amplifier with a shunt inductor. The following performance parameters are determined for optimum operation with any switch duty ratio: the collector current and voltage waveforms, the peak values of collector current and voltage, the output power, the power output capability, and the values of the load network elements. The analysis shows that the maximum power output capability occurs at a duty ratio of 50 percent. The measured collector efficiency of experiments is 93 percent with 0.93W at 1MHz. This amplifier is especially applicable at portable transmitters because its colletor efficiency is extremely high.
