Development of the Safety Steering System of Motor Vehicles Transmission

The operation of heavy tracked vehicle has the problems in the steering that made by misoperations. The protection device is applied to the vehicles. But that device is applied to the vehicles. But that device has the engine stop and over load condition problems. the steering safety system is developed on the basis of clutch slip that proved the durability in the dynamo test and field test. The steering safety system caused the performance improvement of vehicles when steering.
A Study on the Cutting Resistance and Acoustic Emission Signal due to Increasing Tool Wear in Turning

In order to achieve the autimation and untended system of manufacturing process, it is necessary that the monitoring system check up the disorder of machine tool or the conditions of tool wear for the maximum use of cutting tool. In the metal cutting Process, AE signal is detected by AE sensor, then amplified and transmitted to an Locan-AT. The experiment was performed to SM25C and STS304 steels at uniform feedrate, cutting speed and depth of cut, The results of experimental data apparently showed emission intensity vary due to increasing of tool wear at the 165kHz, 200kHz in the SM25C and 140kHz, 165kHz, 200kHz, in the STS304 respectively Therefore, it is possible to predict the tool wear. This study is intended to suggest the way to the automation and untended system of machine tool through the system monitoring tool wear by using AE signal
Shifting and Steering Performance Analysis of Hydromechanical Continuous Variable Transmission

The shifting and steering performance of the tracked vehicle with the hydromechanical continuous variable transmission is analyzed. The simulation results are closely similar to both the vehicle test result, As a result of hydromechanical transmission simulation, power circulation in 2nd and 3rd range is maximum 142% And power flow of mechanical part has the relationship with the effeciency of the vehicle and transmission.
A Study on the Wear of Milling Tool and Relativity of Acoustic Emission in Cutting Process

This study is focused on the prediction of appropriate tool life by clarifying the correlation between progressive tool wear and AE signal. when rcutting SM45C by End mill in machining center. First of all, end mill have a problem that position of sensor sticking because it is revolution tool, but I think that it can be bained specific character according to sticking Sensor in the Vise. Consequently, the following results have been obtained; 1. Each cutting speed of feed rate over 0.1mm had a tendency to increase linearly according to the RMSAE 2. The level of AE signal at the same cutting area was more sensitive to depth of cut tharn the variation of feed rate 3. In the range of cutting duringqr about 75minqr atqr cutting speed 27m/min flankqr wear turns up aboutqr 0.21mm, aboutqr 0.29mm in the caseqr of about 65minqr at 33/min, qr hereby RMSAE increased rapidly at 0.2mm flank wear, also AE-HIT and CUM-CNTS.
A Study on the Wear Monitoring Technique for Diamond Core Drill

The diagnosis and monitoring system of abnormal cutting condition is necessary to realize precision machining proces and factory automation, which are final goal of metal cutting in order to develop this system, theimage processing technique has been investigated in machining process. In theis paper, the measurement system of tool wear using computer vision is designed to detect the wear pattern by non-contact and direct method and get the realiable wear information about cutting tool. We measured the area of the side and front part of the diamond core dril which is used in 40kHz ultrasonic vibration machine.
A Study on the Wear of Ceramic Tool in Finish Machining of STD11 Steel

In this study, Wear of a ceramic cutting tool for hardened STD11 steel was investigated. Under the finish machining condition. DOC notch wear of a ceramic cutting tool was mostly occurred earlier than flank and crater wear were proceeded. The relations of DOC notch wear, which was characteristically produced at the beginning of cutting. to cutting speed, feed, depth of cut, and nose radius of a ceramic cutting tool were examined. Effective approach angle, which is a function of cutting conditions, and boundary area were suggested, and then the influence of those was investigated, The following conclusions were obtained: (1)as cutting speed was increasing. DOC notch wear was decreasing (2) the cutting condition that magnitude of slendermess ratio was made small, was favorable for DOC notch wear, (3) as depth of cut was smaller, the influence of feed on DOC notch wear was also smaller, (4) DOC notch wear was mainly influenced by effective approach angle, but by boundary area in the range of low feed.
