Design of Dispersion Managed Optical Link for Wideband WDM Transmission

Design rule of optical transmission link consisted of dispersion management (DM) controlling accumulated dispersion in total fiber length by precompensation and postcompensation, and optical phase conjugator (OPC) positioned at mid-way are proposed. DM schemes investigated in this paper are 2 types depending on the position of precompensation and postcompensation; bi-end type and concentration type. It is confirmed that effective residual dispersion ranges, as a design parameter of optical link, of transmission section from transmitter to OPC and transmission section from OPC to receiver are independence on the positions of dispersion compensating fiber (DCF) accomplishing precompensation and postcompensation, if both DCF position is symmetry with respect to OPC.
Development of Electronic Control Module for Automobile Clutch

With the development of the automobile industry, technologies for parts of an automobile with more convenient functions have progressed, but the manual clutch developed at the first phase of inventing means of transport still remains at the early stage of the automatic transmission despite numerous research and efforts. The traditional automatic transmission is mainly used in small cars and personal RV vehicles that include the slipped clutch disk. However, this research seeks an innovative technology that can be applied to all types of transportation operating the clutch, such as small cars, large vehicles, farm machines and vessels. In order to accurately decide the joint timing of the clutch disk according to the output of engine power that differs depending on driving conditions of vehicles, and to apply the half clutch state which frequently occurs in the manual transmission, the rpm of the engine can be used as the base to decide the joint timing of the clutch disk. This research has developed an electronic clutch module that can transmit the engine power by moving and jointing the clutch disk as much as the engine rpm increases.
Applying Ultra-WideBand Location System to Yard Crane

Recently, a container shipping volume has increased dramatically and continued on a trend of rapid growth, and so the number of container handled at the port increase. therefore, it's increasing about concern of harbor automatism to save distribution costs in harbor. harbor automatism classifies into four large automatism's, gate automatism by using RFID that trailer come with burdening the container to be loaded on ships go though with RFID and Quay-Side container crane automatism that treats cargos loading on ships and automatism of CG that loads containers from yard, and automatism of container transporters that carries containers in between gates. To increase the using efficiency of harbor, detecting exact location of yard crane is very important matter. In this paper, propose about yard crane automatism applied UWB Location system and the development direction.
A High Efficiency Reconfigurable Doherty Amplifier

This paper proposes the Reconfigurable Doherty Amplifier(RDA) with asymmetric structure which has
impedance transformer for modulating the load impedance in peaking amplifier path. This structure is possible to implement a compact size for N-stage multi Doherty amplifier and to get almost same characteristics that is compared to conventional Doherty amplifier. To realize the high efficiency amplifier, we were implemented 45 Watts power amplifier at transmitter band of Wideband Code Division Multiple Access(WCDMA) base-station. As a result, in case of WCDMA 1 Frequency Allocation(FA) input signals, this amplifier has obtained a 26.3% Power Added Efficiency(PAE) at 8 dB back-off point from P1dB and an Adjacent Channel Leakage Power(ACLR) is -40.4 dBc at center frequency

In this study, we design and implement RFID system that could be monitored on web. RFID system, 13.56MHz RFID reader was designed and implemented by using MLX12115 RFID chip of Melexis company and Stargate of Xbow company for application to the wireless LAN system. As a result, by using wireless LAN, we develop the easy installation RFID system which make it possible to get tag's information anywhere.
A Study on TCP using AODV in Mobile Ad-hoc Networks

Recently, network component become to follow wireless and mobile network from wired network proposed that many TCP algorithm optimized in variety environment. When TCP was created, however as it was design based on wired link, wireless link made more transmission error than wired link. Transmission errors are more frequent and may be incorrectly regarded as indications of network congestion. In this paper, it conduct how effect congestion control algorithm in Mobile ad-hoc network and compare traffic of TCP-Tahoe, TCP-Reno, TCP-New-Reno and TCP-Vegas in Mobile ad-hoc environment.

In this paper refer to the digital multimedia mobile phone with the combination of broadcasting and the communication the unity of wire and wireless solution that can provide the UMA(Unlicensed Mobile Access) function is added. In UNC(Universal Naming Convention) in the case of CAS(Conditional Access System) is supported, the device(mobile phone) is authenticated through AP and then following the method of broadcasting signal the user can view the wanted contents as long as they want and for this matter the service charge system are proposed.
A Traitor Tracing Using an Efficient Key Renewal in Embedded System

If the broadcast message is sent, first of all, the privileged users will decode the session key by using his or her personal key, which the user got previously. The user willget the digital information through this session key. As shown above, the user will obtain messages or session keys using the keys transmitted from a broadcaster, which process requires effective ways for the broadcaster to generate and distribute keys. In addition, when a user wants to withdraw or sign up, an effective process to renew a key is required. It is also necessary to chase and check users' malicious activities or attacking others. This paper presents a method called Traitor Tracing to solve all these problems. Traitor tracing can check attackers and trace them. It also utilizes a proactive way for each user to have effective renewal cycle to generate keys.
Web-Based Electronic Design Automation Circuit Design and Part Management System Development

In this paper, we developed the circuit and part information maintenance system based on JSP (Java Server Page) web server using web browser. Designers can easily search part information and register the new components or parts, and this system is linked to the EDA (Electronic Design Automation) system to be applicable to the circuit and part schematics in real time. Therefore, EDA system part library managed by individual designers are integrated into the web-based maintenance system.
The Empirical Study on Web based Information Evaluation System for the Construction Industry

In this study, we developed the web-based system evaluating the construction information level considering the characteristic of business of the construction company. According to the business, if a construction company answer to the information evaluation questions and inputs its information goal, the web-based system provides the construction information score and the comparative report to the result of companies which are the similar business type and scale. Moreover this system presents the information strategy to achieve company's information goal based on the present information level. This study will enable to a construction company to improve the level of IT in the construction industry and to increase IT investments.
Watermark Algorithm Using Difference Matrix between Successive Blocks

In this paper, we proposed a watermarking algorithm by using difference matrix between successive blocks in the transform domain. In the preprocessing, original image is decomposed with 1-level sub-bands by DWT. Then, all sub-bands which are excepted the low-frequency bands are set to normalize and make a reference image after transforming inverse DWT. The statistic variance of successive blocks between the original image and the reference image are calculated and finally, watermark is embedded considering the local characteristic with respect to the high-frequence components. Experimental results showed that the proposed approach is robust and better invisible in such attacks as filtering, JPEG and noise addition.
Real-time Slant Face detection using improvement AdaBoost algorithm

The traditional face detection method is to use difference picture method are used to detect movement. However, most do not consider this mathematical approach using real-time or real-time implementation of the algorithm is complicated, not easy. This paper, the first to detect real-time facial image is converted YCbCr and RGB video input. Next, you convert the difference between video images of two adjacent to obtain and then to conduct Glassfire Labeling. Labeling value compared to the threshold behavior Area recognizes and converts video extracts. Actions to convert video to conduct face detection, and detection of facial characteristics required for the extraction and use of AdaBoost algorithm.
