Study on corporate Culture & Job Satisfaction of Airlines' Flight Attendants

In this study, what effects corporate culture of airlines' flight attendants has on job satisfaction was analyzed and the following results were derived. First, it showed that flight attendants of airlines feel job satisfaction with the ability of handling works by themselves before supervisors order something, with the faith of supervisors that subordinates will be able to work well, and with being able to talk about difficulties of the company open-minded. Second, flight attendants inairlines showed different levels of recognition about corporate culture based on age, married or not, position and how long they have worked in the company. Especially, it showed a big difference by their positions. Third, looking into the effect demographical characters have on job satisfaction, it indicated that the higher the positions were, the higher job satisfaction was, and especially, compared that job satisfaction of flight attendants having 4-7 years' careers is low, that of the flight attendantsmore than 8 years is high.
Design and Implementation of Mobile Contents to provide Marine Leisure Information

As a marine leisure industry has being developed and demands for leisure culture have rapidly increased, the needs for services offering marine safety and related information are growing. Accordingly, in the study I developed the contents providing server to support this with ENC agent who presents geographical information of digitalized Electronic Nautical Chart satisfying with the standard(S-57) by International Hydrographic Organization and a web searching agent who builds a database by collecting marine-related information in order to provide a variety of realtime information such as weather, fishing and news. In addition, I designed and embodied network based mobile contents which can be presented on a WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) based portable handset by receiving an ENC and other processed information from server. With the results produced by such experiments, I measured a compressibility corresponding to a image compression format of electronic nautical chart transmitted and analyzed the correlation between increase in packets of requested information and the cost.

Air Traffic Management (ATM) system requires extremely high reliability for the safe and dependable operations in the airport. This paper reports a study on the reliability of the prototype ATM hardware system including the servers and local area networks. Reliability Block Diagram and Fault Tree Analysis on the prototype ATM hardware were performed.
Q-factor Improvements of WDM Signals using Optical Transmission Link with Dispersion Management and OPC

New optical transmission link techniques improving performance of WDM channels, each channel have bit rate of 40 Gbps, are proposed. The proposed optical link configuration consist of optical phase conjugator (OPC) placed at middle of total transmission length, and dispersion management (DM) as a role of compensating dispersion cumulated in transmission line. It is confirmed that Q-factor of total channels are improved by combining OPC and DM in optical transmission link as a result of following fact; DM not only mitigate the cumulated dispersion in total transmission line but also help OPC to compensate optical nonlinearities. And, it is confirmed that the improvement of Q-factor of overall WDM channels depends on net residual dispersion (NRD) of optical link.
The Measurement Method of Reflected Intensity of Radiation for High Precision Laser Range Finder

The phase delay of output signal of APD(avalanche photo diode) caused by intensity of reflected light which comes from target. These difference of phase delay is an one of the main reason of measurement error, but there is no reasonable measurement meter and method to detect it. In this paper, to solve the problem, we propose and implement a method to measure the intensity of radiation. The method measures DC voltage which is proportional to the reflected intensity of radiation and come out from APD in receiver by realtime.
A Study on the Design and Fabrication of the UWB Bandpass Filter

In this paper, a band pass filter with a rejection band is proposed for UWB(Ultra Wide Band) communication system. First, low pass filter accessed cut off frequency of 10.2 GHz was designed using structure stepped impedance. And high pass filter accessed cut of frequency of 3.2 GHz was designed using parallel short-stub. There was implemented composite connection of designed low pass filter and high pass filter. The relative dielectric constant, the height, the loss tangent of the PCB substrate were
=2.2, h=0.508 mm and loss tangent = 0.0009 respectively. The fabricated band pass filter shows a compact size of 3 cm. The fabricated band pass filter was characterized using 37169A VNA(Vector Network Analyzer). And measured result were obtained 7.5 GHz of bandwidth and -10 dB of return loss and -3 dB of insertion loss from pass band. The result of the research can be used for the UWB communications and MIC/MMIC, RFIC system.
A 0.13 ㎛ CMOS Dual Mode RF Front-end for Active and Passive Antenna

The CMOS RF front-end for Global Positioning System(GPS)are implemented in 1P8M CMOS
process. The LNAs consist of LNA1 with high gain and low NF, and LNA2 with low gain and high IIP3 for supporting operation with active and passive antenna. the measured performances of both LNAs are 16.4/13.8 dB gain, 1.4/1.68 dB NF, and -8/-4.4 dBm IIP3 with 3.2/2 mA form 1.2 V supply, respectively. The quadrature downconversion mixer is followed by transimpedance amplifier with gain controllability from 27.5 to 41 dB. The front-end performances in LNA1 mode are 39.8 dB conversion gain, 2.2 dB NF, and -33.4 dBm IIP3 with 6.6 mW power consumption.
On a Suitable Frequency consideration of 700MHz Band for the disaster radiocommunication followed with DTV frequency reallocation

In this paper, Switching to digital TV broadcasting and mobile operators license expiration period of the frequency, time and 700MHz, 800MHz and 900MHz frequency band plan for the redistribution is actively being discussed. Redistribution policy direction of these frequency 800MHz (bandwidth 10MHz) integrated command frequency for wireless networks(i.e TETRA) is expected to be considered a redistribution. These Integrated Wireless Network Infrastructure configurations at the time and data communication capabilities of the system unwilling TETRA Release 2 standard for the system is presented. This system is analyzed that Release 1 of the existing system takes up more than 6 times the increase of frequency bands. Therefore, integration of the frequency band assigned to the command of a wireless network with the introduction of advanced systems will not be able to do. In this paper to the digital TV transition, and the policy based on analysis of trends in the 700MHz band for the integration of wireless networks, provides policy direction for the allocation plan.
Intelligent Parallel Iterative Methods for Solving Linear Systems of Equations with Large Sparse Matrices

The demand for high performance computer grows to solve large linear systems of equations in such engineering fields - circuit simulation for VLSI design, image processing, structural engineering, aerodynamics, etc. Many various parallel processing systems have been proposed and manufactured to satisfy the demand. The properties of linear system determine what algorithm is proper to solve the problem. Direct methods or iterative methods can be used for solving the problem. In this paper, an intelligent parallel iterative method for solving linear systems of equations with large sparse matrices is proposed and its efficiency is proved through simulation.
Achievement of A Three-Tier Based Online Examination System

Recently, various services through the Internet are gradually increased and developed. The traditional way of examination has been replacing by the online test as well. The most representative is the IBT TOEFL by the ETS in the US. Besides this, a lot of online tests and some related discussions are very fierce to carry out due to the continuous increase of the number of exam candidates. Taking account of the economic issues compared to the previous test, this online method has a lot of strengths. This paper aims to build an online test system based on the 3- tier browser-server architecture, which is different from the commonly used 2-tier based system. This system was achieved using the Visual Studio.Net 2005 and SQL Server 2000 as development tools, and based on the ASP.NET 2.0 platform, using the ADO.NET and C# language.
Reliability for A Fault-Detection Agent running on Home Network Environment based IP-USN

This paper explains the design and implementation of the FDA(Fault Detection Agent) based on IP-USN. FDA is a system that is suitable for detecting software error for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of an ED, and ES. ED is an agent that detects an error by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. ES is an agent that is an error sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment.
Development of Real time distributed Object Remote Monitroing system

As information communication technology developed we could monitor temperature, weather, indoor and outdoor status which we need to monitor using various sensors. Even further we could monitor our body such as Sa02 and serologic chemical tests easily at home or office. It is possible though interlocking the house medical instrument with the wireless public data network. Data from sensors can be transmitted to the distant control room and will be essentially applied through wireless public data network. In this study we measured various sensor data for the telemetry in one system. The sensing items are mainly focused on the static and dynamic behaviors of the bridge, building, instruments. The study suggests the transmit system model utilized by the wireless public data network. The suggestion in the study of telemetry system provides movement and preservation. And it will exam various condition in distance or at home.
Power Control Algorithm with Finite Strategies: Game Theoretic Approach

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the power control problem in wireless communications with game theoretic approach. The major contribution of the present paper is that we formulated the problem as a game with a finite number of strategies while most of the previous game theoretic power control literatures modeled with continuous game in which there are infinite number of strategies. It should be noted that the closed-loop power control would be performed in a discrete manner, power up or down from the present level of power with fixed power control step size. We model the current closed-loop power control scheme with the famous Prisoner's dilemma model and show that the power-up strategy is Nash equilibrium. That is, every mobile tries to increase their power and approach to their maximal power. Thus, the outcome of current power control (Nash equilibrium) is inefficient. In order to attain efficient power control for the environment where ICI(Inter-Cell Interference is severe, we developed a new payoff function in which the penalty mechanism is introduced and derived conditions under which power-down becomes Nash equilibrium strategy for all players. Furthermore we examined the trajectory of equilibrium power when the power control game will be played repeatedly.
Performance Analysis and MODEM Implementation of the HDR-WPAN System

In this paper, the structure and detailed specifications of the HDR-WPAN physical layer have been analyzed and the block module of transmitter and receiver have been also designed, and analyzed the performance as well. In the process of transmitter design, it concentrated on all possibility of modulation of QPSK, DQPSK and 16/32/64QAM-TCM, which could be available for mode selection due to the transmission rate. In addition to the receiver module, DQPSK and TCM decoding algorithm is mainly concerned. After designing the transceiver MODEM using VHDL, we have programmed on the platform board and verified the functions of the MODEM. Some experimental results showed that it can be considered a possibility of data communication without error over SNR 22dB.
A Study on the Difference between Security Monitoring and Wiretap

Even though security monitoring and wiretap seem to be same things from the current legal point of view, these two concepts are different. But because the researches related to the differences between wiretap and security monitoring, there are some confusions about these concepts, so there are some side effects. In this paper, we try to explain the differences between wiretap and security monitoring in the aspects of object, scope, target and application method.
A Study on Feasibility and Establishment of a Security Grade Certification Scheme for the New IT Services

In this study we analyzed and gauged the information security needs for the new IT service which will be proceeding. Then we designed Information Security Rank Authentication System to raise the level of information security. To achieve this study, we analyzed rank authentication system of the inside and outside of the country and developed the practical propulsive system and the evaluation model which reflects IT service's own feature differing from the general evaluation of IS information security. The result of this study can be utilized to assess the level of domestic IT service information security objectively, and it can be applied as the means of rational decisionmaking for establishing a policy to raise degree of information security of corporations providing IT service.

Object Recogniton for Markerless Augmented Reality Embodiment

In this paper, we propose an object recognition technique for implementing marker less augmented reality. Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) is used for finding the local features from object images. These features are invariant to scale, rotation, translation, and partially invariant to illumination changes. Extracted Features are distinct and have matched with different image features in the scene. If the trained image is properly matched, then it is expected to find object in scene. In this paper, an object is found from a scene by matching the template images that can be generated from the first frame of the scene. Experimental results of object recognition for 4 kinds of objects showed that the proposed technique has a good performance.

In this paper, it is proposed a mind map program using open API to provide mashup function. Web paradigm is changing to Web 2.0. So mashup using open API is much applied. Mashup is good method for not only web service, but making new ideas or informations. It is mind map that was made systematical like this method. In this paper, a mind map application based on mobile that provides mashup function implemented for modern people that mostly process their business during movement.
Polygonal Model Simplification Method for Game Character

It is very important to generate a simplified model from a complex 3D character in computer game. We propose a new method of extracting feature lines from a 3D game character. Given an unstructured 3D character model containing texture information, we use model feature map (MFM), which is a 2D map that abstracts the variation of texture and curvature in the 3D character model. The MFM is created from both a texture map and a curvature map, which are produced separately by edge-detection to locate line features. The MFM can be edited interactively using standard image-processing tools. We demonstrate the technique on several data sets, including, but not limited to facial character.
Personalized Document Summarization Using NMF and Clustering

We proposes a new method using the non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) and clustering method to extract the sentences for personalized document summarization. The proposed method uses clustering method for retrieving documents to extract sentences which are well reflected topics and sub-topics in document. Beside it can extract sentences with respect to query which are well reflected user interesting by using the inherent semantic features in document by NMF. The experimental results shows that the proposed method achieves better performance than other methods use the similarity and the NMF.
