A Study on the Internal Service Quality of Airline Call Center's Agent on Job Satisfaction and Turnover Intention

This study focuses on assessing the impacts of the internal service quality components at airline call center on the job satisfaction of agent and turnover intention for effective operation, thereby giving suggestions to manages on the design and the operation of call centers. The major finding of this study showed that intangibility, reliability, authority, leadership are found to have a great influence on the job satisfaction and job satisfaction did not influence on turnover intention.
Design of an Integrated Simulator for TCAS-II using SCADE

In this paper, we propose a new SCADE-based integrated simulator for aircraft mid-air collision avoidance. The new simulator is designed to provide a convenient simulation environment for analyzing the limitations of the existing collision avoidance system(CAS) and for realizing more realistic collision environment into the CAS performance evaluation. Furthermore, we have developed a scenario editor for TCAS-II performance analysis to simulate actual flight environment which is difficult to experiment. The performance of the proposed simulator for typical collision scenarios is demonstrated by simulation using the proposed scenario editor.
Applying Embedded System Forensics to Car GPS Navigation System Analysis

It has increased rapidly use of GPS car navigation system in the last few years worldwide. The type of navigation operation is composed of hardware or software. Navigation based on software is stored in exterior storage(e.g. SD card) and executed. One of many navigation software, Mappy, is used most plentifully in Korea. It stores user information such frequently visited place, route and etc. in exterior storage. If it analyzes the dat of navigation, we gain the information such a suspect's movement, route of car. There are important means in a digital forensic perspective because it's available for investigating the crime such kidnapping, murder and etc. This paper provides the necessary information in digital investigation through the analysis of stored data of navigation in a digital forensic perspective.
Collision-free Path Planning Using Genetic Algorithm

This paper presents a new search strategy based on models of evolution in order to solve the problem of collision-free robotic path planning. We designed the robot path planning method with genetic algorithm which has become a well-known technique for optimization, intelligent search. Considering the path points as genes in a chromosome will provide a number of possible solutions on a given map. In this case, path distances that each chromosome creates can be regarded as a fitness measure for the corresponding chromosome. The effectiveness of the proposed genetic algorithm in the path planning was demonstrated by simulation. The proposed search strategy is able to use multiple and static obstacles.
Performance Improvements through Controling Residual Dispersion Per Span in WDM Transmission Links with Zero Net Residual Dispersion

High-quality transmission of
Gbps WDM signals obtained through controling residual dispersion per span (RDPS) in optical transmission links with zero net residual dispersion (NRD) of inline dispersion management (DM) of optical transmission links is researched. It is confirmed that RDPS values, which is improving system performance, depends on launch power of WDM channels, but optimal RDPS, which can simultaneously improve WDM signals with relative wide launch power ranges, becomes to be 210~230 ps/nm. Also, it is shown that effective launch power range that making eye opening penalty (EOP) of worst channel to below 1 dB is more increased as RDPS is more increased.
Design of the IPI-IFA using the Inverted PI Feeder

Design of IPI(Inverted PI) feeding internal antenna for the gain improvement of mobile phone was proposed. IPI feeding structure affects on both low radiation resistance of antenna and increase current for the internal antenna such as IFA(Inverted F Antenna). By these facts, antenna fed by IPI can get the gain improvement with increasing radiation efficiency. For the verification, we applied IPI feeding structure to conventional quad band IFA. Measurement shows that IPI-IFA has 0.3~2.0[dB] higher gain than conventional IFA on GSM/DCS/USPCS/WCDMA band.
Vehicular Web Server Cluster Design for Next Generation Centralized Navigation Services

HTTP or audio/video streaming services are good candidates for future centralized navigation system and in order to provide stability for such services, service providers use a cluster of web servers. In this paper, we provide the criteria for web server cluster design of vehicular users with consideration of differentiated access per different user classes. Several feasible scenarios are examined and their performance analysis using queueing theory is presented to provide the foundation for web server cluster design using traffic load balancer. Through the thorough analysis, efficient criteria for traffic load balancer design is derived. In order to satisfy users' service requirements, priority services controlled by traffic load balancer are considered and analyzed. We also provide the evaluation of the accuracy of the analytical model through simulation.
Design and Implementation of Testbed for Cooperative Localization using Area Reduction Method

In this study, we designed and implemented testbed for localization algorithm by using a area reduction method in outdoor environment. The proposed algorithm used 3 steps of area reduction method, which estimated blind nodes position. Also, we have experimented with using a Zigbee module for 5 fixed reference nodes and 4 blind nodes in sensor field of
. The results show that our algorithm is improved the localization accuracy even at the number of ref. node is fixed and the number of blind node is increased. In future research, we will be adding the function of seamless localization in indoor and NLOS(non-line of sight) environment.
Acceleration Method of RAID Level 5 for DDR-SSD

In this paper, we propose the acceleration method of the DDR-SSD RAID level 5. The DDR-SSD is the storage device of the Next Generation Storage(NGS) system. The DDR-SSD has different characteristics with HDD and Flash SSD. That's why the DDR-SSD RAID level 5 does not provide the best performance when the normal acceleration method is used. In this paper, to accelerate the DDR-SSD RAID level 5 operation, we propose the parity cache and the architecture of the parity cell. The parity cache stores only parity blocks. This acceleration method proposed in this paper reduce the number of the disk access and the overhead of parity operations.
Enhanced RFID Mutual Authentication Protocol on Efficient Supply Chain Management

Chen et al. proposed a RFID authentication protocol for anti-counterfeiting and privacy protection. A feasible security mechanism for anti-counterfeiting and privacy protection was proposed using XOR and random number shifting operations to enhance RFID tag's security providing a low cost. However, their authentication protocol has some drawbacks and security problems because they did not consider the surrounding environments. We conduct analysis on the protocol and identify problematic areas for improvement of the research. We also provide enhanced authentication and update scheme based on the comment for efficient supply chain management. The proposed protocol was analyzed and compared with typical XOR based RFID authentication protocols and it was confirmed that our protocol has high safety and low communication cost.
Design of Breakwater Disaster Prevention System on Wireless Sensor Network

The requirements of disaster prevention have been constantly increasing on highly disaster frequency by Global warming and environmental destruction. The damage occur more highly, especially when it's on the localized change of weather. It requires that we have methods of disaster prevention locally. In this paper, we design and implement a breakwater disaster prevention system integrated wireless sensor technique for the shore breakwater of East Sea that is raised anxiety about an accident occurrence due to stormy weather. The provided disaster prevention system perceive the seriousness of the situation that is chance of that happening by the information of realtime remote situation and a prediction system so that it could be of some help to reduce the damage of disaster and the cost of recovery.
Visual Servoing for Humanoid Robot in a Distributed Environment

This paper proposes CORBA-based visual servoing system of humanoid robot. To effectively control the humanoid robot which is connected to network, it needs to define necessary services for visual servoing as distribution object, and realize them in the middleware. For realizing it following services should be addressed. Naming service for searching a necessary service with unique name assigned to each object, image service for supplying image obtained from stereo camera. In the experiment, we show the result of balloon tracking and bursting that the robot tracks balloons as target objects in the real time, and if a balloon stop for a certain time, then the robot bursts the balloon.
Design of Antenna for UWB Application notched WLAN-Band

In this paper, a compact antenna with band-rejected characteristic for Ultra-Wideband(UWB) applications is proposed. The designed antenna not only shows sufficient impedance bandwidth but has band-rejected characteristic for the frequency band of 5.15~5.825GHz limited by IEEE 802.11a and HIPERLAN/2. To obtain both properties of wideband band rejection, the techniques of a partial ground plane and embedded thin U-slot into planar radiator are used respectively. A designed antenna satisfied a VSWR less than 2:1 for the frequency band of 3.1~10.3GHz with band rejection of 4.90~5.92GHz.
Power Divider using Zero-Degree Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line

This paper proposes a modified Wilkinson power divider using a zero-degree composit right/left-handed(CRLH) transmission line to obtain a isolation between ports. A zero-degree CRLH transmission line, which has a total electrical length of zero, consists of a RH(Right-Handed) transmission line of a negative phase characteristic and a LH (Left-Handed) transmission line of a positive phase characteristic. To validate a value of zero-degree CRLH transmission line, the electrical lengths of RH and LH transmission line select
and a 2-way Wilkinson divider designed, we are measured S21 of -3.3dB, S11 of -27.5dB and S23 of -25dB at 1GHz center frequency. These characteristics are same the conventional divider using RH transmission line.
Conditional Access System with A Group Hierarchy to Improve Broadcasting Channel Efficiency

In this paper, we proposed a novel conditional access system to reduce the overhead transmission rate for messages which verify the entitlement of subscribers in bandwidth-limited system. We adapted a key update system with the tree structure which had been used for IP multicast to a group hierarchy for the subscriber groups or channel groups. We also analyzed the overhead transmission rate for periodic key update and aperiodic one for change in a subscriber. The numerical evaluations show that the proposed system can significantly reduce the overhead transmission rate for dynamic subscriber change up to several hundred thousands times for various system configuration.
Adaptive Opimization of MIMO Codebook to Channel Conditions for Split Linear Array

In this paper, adaptive optimizations of precoder codebook to channel conditions is proposed for a multiuser multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with split linear array and limited feedback. We propose adaptive method for constructing a precoder codebook by coloring the random vector quantization codebook at each link by using limited long-term feedback information on transmit correlation matrix of each link. It is shown that the proposed multiuser MIMO codebook design scheme outperforms existing multiuser MIMO codebook design schemes for various channel conditions in terms of the average sum throughput of multiuser MIMO systems using zero-forcing maximum eigenmode transmission and limited feedback.
Reliability Improvement of the Industrial Equipment Control and Management System Using ZigBee Wireless Network Technology

Zigbee wireless communication technology has features which are low cost, low power and coping ability against a high delay time when the automatic wireless system is manufactured. Therefore, in this paper, we research a method improving the data transmission reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology. we used a convolutional code with code rate R=1/2, constraint K=5 and generation polynomial constant g1=(10111) and g2=(10011) as a reliability method. From the transmission simulation at LOS environment, we are able to predict the transmission error performance according to the distance difference. Furthermore, At the PER performance analysis, we can get the result that this system reliability with convolutional code is improved about 5 times than the existing system. From these results, we can prove that the convolutional code is the solution to improve the system reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology.
A Fault Recovery Agent for Home Network Environment based on IP-USN

This paper described the design and implementation of the FRA(Fault Recovery Agent) for home network environment based on IP-USN. This system consists of a FDA, FSA, and FRA. FDA is an agent that detects an fault by hooking techniques for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FSA is an agent that is an fault sharing system for multimedia distance education based on IP-USN environment. FRA is a system that is suitable for recovering software fault for multimedia distance education running on home network environment based on IP-USN. It is necessary for the system to be protected by reactivity of media service instance instead of breaking process of session. This system is limited only for FRA modeling.
Adaptive Discrete Time Sliding-Mode Tracking Control of a Proportional Control Valve-Hydraulic System in the presence of friction

As nonlinear friction, stick-slip friction in hydraulic actuators are a problem for accuracy and repeatability. Therefore friction compensation has been approached through various control algorithms. A Adaptive discrete time sliding mode tracking controller has been applied in order to compensate the nonlinear friction characteristics in a hydraulic Actuator. Based on the diophantine equation, a new discrete time sliding function is defined and utilized for the control law which includes a friction and modeling error. Robustness is increased by using both a projection algorithm and a sliding function-based nonlinear feedforward. From the results of simulation and experiment good tracking performance is achieved.

According as information-oriented society is propelled, development of various information security systems is achieved, and introduction of information security system is increasing for service offer securing from nation and public institution. In particular, government information system is increasing interest about security assessment service of government information system because verification about security is weighed first of all. Accordingly, study about various security assessment services is preceded in domestic and overseas. In this paper, analyze security assessment service of Britain and Canada, and we proposed about pre-qualification introduction plan of government information system that can offer user of nation and public institution reliability.
Face Region Detection Algorithm using Fuzzy Inference

This study proposed a face region detection algorithm using fuzzy inference of pixel hue and intensity. The proposed algorithm is composed of light compensate and face detection. The light compensation process performs calibration for the change of light. The face detection process evaluates similarity by generating membership functions using as feature parameters hue and intensity calculated from 20 skin color models. From the extracted face region candidate, the eyes were detected with element C of color model CMY, and the mouth was detected with element Q of color model YIQ, the face region was detected based on the knowledge of an ordinary face. The result of experiment are conducted with frontal face color images of face as input images, the method detected the face region regardless of the position and size of face images.
A Design of u-Learning's Teaching and Learning Model in the Cloud Computing Environment

The cloud computing environment is a new trend of web based application parts. It can be IT business model that is able to easily support learning service and allocate resources through the internet to users. U-learning also is a maximal model with efficiency of the internet based learning. Thus, in this research, we proposed a design of u-learning's teaching and learning model that is applying the internet based learning. Proposal method is to fit u-learning and has 7 steps: Preparing, planning, gathering, learning process, analysis and evaluation, and feedback. We make a cloud u-learning server and cloud LMS to process and manage the service. And We also make a mobile devices meta data to aware the model.
The Development of the Medical Information's Transmission System Using the Bluetooth

A number of very promising applications such as health monitoring and U-Health of ubiquitous techniques has attracted interest in recent years. Because it can observes the condition of patient from long distance using the equipment which combines with radio communication and medical monitoring system. If it is at emergency situation, it can disposes the condition of the patient. In this paper, we propose the new data format and the transmission communication system of combination medical information with the bluetooth. And we produce the on-board system which transmits the medical information. This system integrated the blood pressure and glucose monitor of personal medical equipment, and the medical information which obtained from on-board system acquires through the gateway with the bluetooth. Medical information is transmitted to the tele-monitor server by the wireline network. We evaluated the proposed system under the laboratory environment and confirmed the excellent performance of transmission of the medical information.
Implementation of Real-time Book Search Service of Library using OpenAPI

In this paper, the performances of implementation real-time book search service of government library using OpenAPI. Since 2000, each self-government made a governmnt library for local resident because of policies to encourage reading. Each self-government library services book perusal and lend free for local resident. In current system local residents visit to a library for lending, returning and reading books. And each library run by a self-governing administration provides their own homepage for searching service as well as booking. For each services are not unified, however, it is not easy for lenders to search and lend these enormous books which are spread each library. Accordingly, we present a plan which using organization of every system established now in each library as it is, for a scheme of database by libraries' efficient unification and search, a network of TCP/IP and application which connects each library's database, servicing which uses Open API a check books through real time accessing Database.
A Study on the Disaster Safety Management and Standardization Trends

In this paper, disasters are increasing rapidly due to increase of population, giantish of cities, advancement of traffics, and abnormal weather phenomena, and the scale of damages is also getting wider. So we study of the disaster safety management system and find recognition comprehensions and the problem points which are basic in our system. We dedicate this research on improvement analysis and main discussion issues of the system that based on diagnostics in developed countries' system. And Disaster management activities are increasing to efficiency through the disaster standardization trend.
