Research of Fuzzy Auto gain tuning control to apply actuator controller of Unmaned Aerial Vehicle

Designing actuator controllers of aircraft, which control aileron, flap, elevator and so on, is quiet difficult, because they have time variant nonlinear mechanical structures and also have many kinds of disturbances which are not been able to model easily. This paper reports about the performance of Fuzzy Auto gain tuning Control algorithm applied unmaned aerial vehicle. Fuzzy Auto gain tuning PID control uses PID control and Fuzzy control, therefore It can be applied very easily and it also has advances of PID control. It can control a unmaned aerial vehicle actuators adaptively even though the designer does not have enough information of plant.
A Method for Reduction in Ground Turbulence by the Constructions in the Vicinity of Runway

This paper illustrates how simulation modeling can be reduced of ground turbulence by the constructions in the vicinity of airport runway and reports on a cause of ground turbulence using two-dimensional CFD analysis. Interesting result is that the shape in cross-section show the higher ground turbulence than the height of the building. The predicted results confirmed reduction of wind-effect by doing that set up the building with a fence, terraced shape or gap and it can generate turbulence in embryo at this stage. We knows that cross-wind effect in the vicinity of airport runway is highly dependent on the shape of the buildings.
A method of saving Digital Map which was made through Aerial Photography to ORDBMS

This paper suggests the method for saving the digital map which was made through aerial photography to ORDBMS (Object Relational Database Management System) and analyze its efficiency through experiments. The digital map has been used by file units because of managing or providing it to others. But this way can not get sequential graphic entities and just use it which was included in only one map. In this paper, we saved the digital map to ORDBMS at a time after converted the digital map entities based on the tile to the things can be inserted to ORDBMS. And, we also proved the possible methods to extract the graphic entities what we need from entire blueprint through experiments.
A study on characteristics of magneto-dielectrics as the antenna substrate

In order to obtain magneto-dielectrics with various permmittivity and permeability which could be used as the antenna substrate, various magneto-dielectrics compounded of dielectric materials(such as silicon and epoxy resin) and magnetic materials(such as carbonyl iron, barium and strontium powder) were fabricated. The relative permittivity and permeability of those were measured by use of HP 4291B impedance analyzer. Based upon the measured results, inverted-F meander monopole antennas(IFA) which were printed on the magneto-dielectric substrates fabricated as film type were designed and fabricated to investigate into variations of antenna characteristics such as the resonant frequency and impedance bandwidth in comparison with use of dielectric substrate. Some simulated and measured results for the designed IFA were presented. Characteristics of magneto-dielectrics which are different according as the choice of magnetic material or the composition ratio between magnetic material and dielectric material is different have been discussed.
Design of 5GHz High Efficiency Frequency Multiplier and Digital Linearization

This paper presents the design of a high efficiency frequency multiplier with load-pull simulation and analyses the nonlinear distortion of the frequency multiplier. The frequency multiplier shows serious distortion of multiplying signal bandwidth because of nonlinearity when modulated signal is applied, so a digital predistortion with look up table (LUT) is applied to compensate for the distortion of the frequency multiplier. The frequency multiplier is designed to produce 5.8GHz output by doubling the input frequency to be operating at IEEE 802.11a standard wireless LAN. The output spectrum shows 12dB ACPR improvement both at +11MHz, +20MHz offset from center frequency after linearization.
A Design of Smartphone Meta-Data for SCORM Application in Ubiquitous Environment

Ubiquitous is a new computing environment with IT technology and information communication, and appling various equipments likes PDA and application parts. Recently, user's using environment is changing to smart phone and is expanded learning tools to learner without educational environment. Thus, in this paper, we designed SCORM based meta-data to use smart phone. For this purpose, we made U-learning server and smart phone process server that is to handling with existence LMS and SCORM. To apply smart phones characteristics that have different ones each other, meta-data was able to have some resource information as like CPU, screen size and memory. The meta-data adapter could be process the characteristics.
Design of Quality Metrics and Accreditate Procedure for SW Process Improvement based on K-model

In order to make high quality software and high reliability software, systematic development management and organizational support are essential needed. Since 1990's Software process models such as ISO/IEC 15504 and CMMI have been used to improve organization capability. But these models have problems that are used to apply on large scaled organization or large project and so many practices are actually required. We present characteristics of ISO/IEC 15504, CMMI and K-model can easily apply to small and medium sized business or project, and propose the standard quality metric and accreditate procedure based on K-model for measuring quantitative quality level.
RFID Mutual Authentication Protocol with Security and Performance Improvements

In 2008, Kim-Jun proposed RFID Mutual Authentication Protocol based on One-Time Random Numbers which are strong in Eavesdropping Attack, Spoofing attack and Replay attack. However, In 2009, Yoon-Yoo proved that it was weak in Replay attack and proposed a protocol which can prevent Replay attack. But Yoon-Yoo's protocol has problems that efficiency on communication and Brute-force attack. This paper shows weak points of Yoon-Yoo's protocol and proposes an RFID mutual authentication protocol with security and performance improvements.
Study on the API Hooking Method Based on the Windows

Recently, malicious attacks for Windows operate through Window API hooking in the Windows Kernel. This paper presents the API hooking attack and protection techniques based on Windows kernel. Also this paper develops a detection tool for Windows API hooking that enables to detect dll files which are operated in the kernel. Proposed tool can detect behaviors that imports from dll files or exports to dll files such as kernel32.dll, snmpapi.dll, ntdll.dll and advapidll.dll, etc.. Test results show that the tool can check name, location, and behavior of API in testing system.
A Study on Implementation of Environment Monitoring System of Mobile Robot using OpenRTM

In this paper, we propose the structure of system integration on the global ethernet networks using OpenRTM which was developed in Japan among the integration software framework based on middleware. In order to verify for propose model, we implement of environment monitoring system of mobile robot applied OpenRTM structure and we also verify that proposed validity of the structure of integration through experiment in the implemented system.
Fuzzy Neural Networks-Based Call Admission Control Using Possibility Distribution of Handoff Calls Dropping Rate for Wireless Networks

This paper proposes a call admission control(CAC) method for wireless networks, which is based on the upper bound of a possibility distribution of handoff calls dropping rates. The possibility distribution is estimated in a fuzzy inference and a learning algorithm in neural network. The learning algorithm is considered for tuning the membership functions(then parts)of fuzzy rules for the inference. The fuzzy inference method is based on a weighted average of fuzzy sets. The proposed method can avoid estimating excessively large handoff calls dropping rates, and makes possibile self-compensation in real time for the case where the estimated values are smaller than real values. So this method makes secure CAC, thereby guaranteeing the allowed CDR. From simulation studies we show that the estimation performance for the upper bound of call dropping rate is good, and then handoff call dropping rates in CAC are able to be sustained below user's desired value.
Analysis on the Minimum Separation Distance for Spectrum Sharing between IMT and FSS systems in C Band

Spectrum sharing between wireless systems becomes a critical issue due to emerging new technologies and spectrum shortage. Recently, IMT system has been allocated in the same frequency C band (3400-4200MHz) along with FSS services on co-primary basis, which means that harmful interference probability may be inspired. In this paper, to estimate the spectrum sharing between IMT and FSS systems, the minimum separation distances have been evaluated considering major factors such as the clutter loss in some areas and the elevation angle of FSS earth station, and using I/N=-10dB which is fundamental criterion for coexistence.
Measurement Analysis of RSSI and CINR of IEEE 802.16e in an Ocean Environment

4S (Ship to Ship, Ship to Shore) communication is the key to strategic development of e-navigation, a core element of IT vessel convergence. 4S communication is intended to integrate and standardize various communication infrastructures on land and communication equipment complying with communication equipment equipped in ships. This paper aims to apply the Korean technology IEEE 802.16e adopted as an international standard, to replace and compensate for existing vessel communication media such as low speed HF/MF/VHF to the ocean environment. To this end, various experimental conditions between the coast station where a relay station was installed and related equipment equipped on a ship are set. Communication signals were monitored and the RSSI and CINR were measured. Based on experimental analysis and results, various challenges and solutions which may occur in ocean environment were sought, and communication availability was analyzed through transmission data throughput, at the maximum effective distance range of the signal. It was proven that high speed multimedia data could be exchanged for up to 20 km even among 80km kph ships moving around near the sea, ensuring that this technology could be applied to the ocean environment.
A Study on the Performance Improvement of the HRV Detection from PPG Signals

The whole-body massager among healthcare devices is under being popularized in a large scale as times goes by. It is critical to measure, analyze and judge the stress relaxsation trend from HRV signal using PPG in case of massager operation with such relaxsation device for removing stress of human being. There may be artifact in HRV measured signal because the measured object is under shaking with that massager in this case. We present the methodology to remove such artifact from those measured HRV signal, and then measure and analyze the desired HRV successfully in this paper.
Implementation of WAVE system for ITS

In this paper, the WAVE technology for IT based on Intelligent Transport System(ITS) which using by IEEE 802.11a PHY, IEEE 802.11p MAC(Medium Access Control) and IEEE P1609.3 was implemented. The WAVE system was designed that has maximum 0.5km communication range for RSU(Road Side Equipment) between vehicle, 12Mbps transfer speed when downlink at maximum 120km/h vehicle speed. To verify suitableness of the WAVE system for ITS, we measured several parameters on the real road: communication range when low and high speed, link establishment time, data transfer speed, PER (Percent Error Rate), and latency. From the experiment results, we demonstrated that WAVE is a suitable technology for IT based on ITS.
A Study on the Performance of WAVE Communication System using Jakes Channel Model

In this paper, the 5.9GHz WAVE(Wireless Access in Vehicular Environments) channel modeling is used by the Jakes channel model for the suitability of the fast wireless channel fluctuation. The performance analysed the fading signal constellation and the spectrum in the IEEE 802.11p spectrum mask, the Doppler effect, the modulation scheme. In addition, the vehicular speed, exactly the performance analysis the WAVE communication systems follow the Doppler effect.
The Receive Channel Allocation Scheme on the Digital Trunk Radio System for the Emergency and Disaster Communication in the call congestion

Nowdays the mobile traffic have been greatly increasing. This traffic increment has been caused the lack of frequency. To solve this problem, many study to improve the frequency efficiency in the field of mobile communication has been performed in a variety angle. However this kind of study was focused to 1:1 traffic. This paper propose the allocation scheme of the receiving channel in 1:N group traffic. This method apply to the TRS(Trunk Radio System) that use for the emergency disaster telecommunications. The result of the study show the performance improvement in the call loss ratio and load distribution in the group channel.

It is necessary for the resource management system to manage for the resource in distributed networking environment. Because of increasing the complexity of vast computer system and business environment, needs of RMS is increasing. Based on the common information model to use of objected oriented technology, through analysis of the reference model for the resource management system of the SNIA, we intend to implement the application program to manage the NGS system that consist of SSD and DRAM. To visualize, it is use the GUI Interface. It is possible for application program(Client) to detect and manage the system that consist of the NGS system. Also, status information that is divided into three cataloges(Minor/Major/Critical) can be displayed and it provide support of configuration functionality to manage devices.

Design and Development of University Asset Management systems

This paper demonstrates the design and development of asset management systems suitable for the universities full of very various kind of assets. Universities consists of many departments, which have a multiplicity of many experimental. It is very difficult to record and manage assets with hands. In addition, the equipments are moving freely from one lab to another inside the school, which means it is tough to find the location of the assets and so some stuffs that are given lack attention are likely to disappear. So, these things occurring frequently in the university asset management environment should be considered in the design and embodiment of the asset management system. In the proposed system, location recognition of the assets is realized based on a route tracking method, so it is possible to detect the loss of the high priced assets and entrance, export, and lending of them are controlled efficiently. The system is likely to reduce the load of a manager responsible for asset management, because configured to decrease interventions of the manager in overall asset management process. Especially, the proposed system and implementation method will be suitable for small and medium-scale asset management, path tracking, history management.
Security Analysis of SCOS-3 Block Cipher against a Related-Key Attack

Recently, several DDP, DDO and COS-based block ciphers have been proposed for hardware implementations with low cost. However, most of them are vulnerable to related-keyt attacks. A 12-round block cipher SCOS-3 is desinged to eliminate the weakness of DDP, DDO and COS-based block ciphers. In this paper, we propose a related-key differential attack on an 11-round reduced SCOS-3. The attack on an 11-round reduced SCOS-3 requires
related-key chosen plaintexts and
11-round reduced SCOS-3 encryptions. This work is the first known attack on SCOS-3. Therefore, SCOS-3 is still vulnerable to related-key attacks.
Digital Halftoning with Maze Generation Algorithm

Halftoning is very important image processing techniques in the digital printing industry which is a process of converting a continuous-tone image to bi-level tone image. In this paper we introduce a new digital halftoning method based on maze generation algorithm as a replacement algorithm of halftoning with space-filling curve. Previous error-diffusion methods based on space-filling curve suffer from regular pattern artifacts from uniform scan pattern. We use maze generation algorithm to remove this undesirable pattern of space-filling curve method.
A Study on the Technology Trends for Implementation of Homeland Security

Recently, many countries are developing and investing in various homeland security technologies against terrorism. The importance of homeland security has been growing because of nuclear weapon threat from North Korea, the burning of cultural assets, and violence crimes. Therefore, in this paper, we have described and analyzed the trends related to homeland security technology. The main techniques toward homeland security are aggregation technology, integration technology, collaboration technology, categorization technology, intelligence technology, and mining technology. Those are likely to become the growth potentials until fade out of threat. Therefore, we require more government policies to support a budget enlargement.

Fire Detection Algorithm based on Color and Motion Information

In this paper, we propose the method of fire detection. A wide distribution of CCTV cameras (Closed Circuit Television) in many public areas can be used not only for video surveillance systems but also for detecting fire occurrence. A proposed approach is based on visual information through a static camera. Video sequences are analyzed to find fire candidates and then spatial analyses procedure for detected fire-like color foreground is carried out. From the simulation results, our method showed the best performance when spatial and temporal fire candidates changes rapidly and close to fire motion.
