A Study on the Emotional Labor, Burnout and Turnover Intention of Airline Call Center Wokers

This study is to analyze the relationship about emotional labor, burnout and turnover intention in airline call center workers who perform emotional labor using telephone without direct confrontiong with clients. Call center work typically requires high levels of sustained interpersonal. Therefore the emotional labor is the important managing factor for efficient management of call center. This study makes a contribution in providing the fact that emotional labor and burnout is an important managing factor in administration of call center worker.
A Filtering Antenna for Wireless In-Flight Entertainment Communication System at Millimeter-Wave Band

In this paper, H-plane filtering-horn antenna operating at millimeter frequency band is proposed with embedded filter and three-layered dielectric lens for frequency selection and maintenance of main beam direction, respectively. The waveguide-typed filter and H-plane sectoral horn antenna are replaced with considerably size-reduced PCB substrate-typed filtering antenna using via fences and several posts. The waveguide-typed filter and H-plane sectoral horn antenna were designed in air-filled waveguide and then combined into size-reduced PCB substrate. For the control of the thickness of dielectric lens, single and multi dielectric lens have been employed. As a result of antenna gain, 8 and 13.5 dBi have been obtained at 41.5 GHz, respectively, from the simulations of single and multi-lens antennas.
Design of 100mW Frequency Tripler Operating at 7 GHz

In this paper, a frequency tripler has been designed with 100mW medium-power using P-HEMT. It is designed to obtain 7.2 GHz frequency at the output that is an integer multiple of 2.4 GHz input frequency by using nonlinear device that produces 3rd harmonic. The frequency tripler is designed by using load-pull simulation. To suppress the 2nd and fundamental, notch filter is used for the frequency tripler. The tripler is designed to obtain about 21dBm output power with 15 dBm input, i.e., 6 dB conversion gain and the suppression of 20 dBc at fundamental, and 30 dBc at the second harmonics.

In this paper, we research a virtual card generation system to secure e-commerce. Network security has increased the need to meet rapidly growing trend. And the amount and quality of e-commerce expansion due to the need for secure commerce transactions has increased even more. Instead of exposing the actual credit card number, we expose a virtual card number on the network. It can prevent the risk of hacking. We proved that through various experiments.
Performance Evaluation of the DRM+ System over Mutlipath Fading Channel Models Used in Band-II

In this paper, the bit-error-ratio (BER) performances of Digital Radio Mondiale Plus (DRM+) system which stand for the European standard to bring analogue FM radio to digital radio in Band-II(30-170 MHz) are evaluated under multipath fading channel models used in Band-II and the adjacent channel interference (ACI) caused by FM signal. From the simulation results, the DRM+ system shows robust performances under time-varying channel environments even though the speed of a vehicle is equal to 300km/h. And it is shown that the frequency diversity, determined by delay spread of multipath fading channel, increases the coding gain of the DRM+ system with an increase of delay spread. In addition, to guarantee the BER performance of 10-4 for DRM+ system with ACI due to FM signal, the simulation results show that the desired signal-to-ACI power ratio must be more than -30 dB when the carrier frequency distance is 150 kHz.
An IDS in MANET with Cross Layer Concept

Intrusion detection forms a vital component of internet security. To keep pace with the growing trends, there is a critical need to replace single layer detection technology with multi layer detection. Different types of Denial of Service (DoS) attacks thwart authorized users from gaining access to the networks and we tried to detect as well as alleviate some of those attacks. We have proposed a novel cross layer intrusion detection architecture to discover the malicious nodes. The information available across different layers of protocol stack are exploited in order to improve the accuracy of detection. We have used cooperative and distributive anomaly intrusion detection with data mining technique to enhance the proposed architecture. The simulation of the proposed architecture is done in OPNET simulator and the results are analyzed.
QoS Analysis of Wireless Sensor Network with ARQ Scheme

Severe energy constraints and the low power consumption require the significance of the energy efficient error control mechanisms in wireless sensor network (WSN). In this paper, an automatic repeat request (ARQ) methodology for the analysis of error control schemes in WSN is presented such that the effects of packet length, the modulation scheme and the interference effect of the wireless channel are investigated. Moreover, an analyis of ARQ error control is provided by considering two major architectures for wireless sensor network, i.e., Mica2 and MicaZ sensor nodes. And the throughput performance of WSN with asynchronous FSK signal and DSSS-OQPSK signal with selective repeat ARQ scheme are analyzed in multiple interference environment, and the probability of receiving a correct bit and packet from target node to sink node is evaluated as a function of the channel parameter, the number of wireless sensor node, and the spreading factor.
An Analysis and Simulation of sRIO for Implementation of Robot's Hetero-Multi Processor

In this paper, we propose the structure of heterogeneous multiprocessor's concept, which is the structure of the new type of the robot controller, and we introduce an integrating structure method, which is distributed multiprocessor within controller using sRIO. We also perform the computer simulation with using the sRIO IP core which was designed within FPGA as the method for implementation of integrated heterogeneous multiprocessor by sRIO communication. Thus, we verify the result.
Frequency Multiplier Using Diplexer based on CRLH Transmission Line

This paper proposes the frequency multiplier using diplexer based on CRLH transmission line with dualband characteristic. The diplexer is separated the output signals of harmonic generator, which is generated the harmonic signals using nonlinear device. The diplexer consists of the inphase power divider, 0o/90o phase controller and dual-band quadrature hybrid coupler. This send out the selecting output signals of the harmonic signals and suppresses out of signals. To validate a function of multiplier, the harmonic generator and diplexer with 2 GHz and 3 GHz operating frequency range is implemented. As a result, the proposed frequency multiplier is operated normally.
A Nested Session Control for Fault-Recovery Agent on Industry Safety Environment

This paper explains the design and implementation of nested session management based the FRA(Fault Recovery Agent). FRA is a system that is suitable for recovering software error for multimedia remote control based on industry safety environment. In this paper, we discuss a method for increasing reliability through organization of nested session.
Compressive Sensing for MIMO Radar Systems with Uniform Linear Arrays

Compressive Sensing (CS) has been widely studied as a promising technique in many applications. The CS theory tells that a signal that is known to be sparse in a specific basis can be reconstructed using convex optimization from far fewer samples than traditional methods use. In this paper, we apply CS technique to Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar systems which employ uniform linear arrays (ULA). Especially, we investigate the problem of finding the direction-of-arrival (DOA) using CS technique and compare the performance with the conventional adaptive MIMO techniques. The results suggest the CS method can provide the similar performance with far fewer snapshots than the conventional adaptive techniques.
A Study on the Triple Module Redundancy ARM processor for the Avionic Embedded System

The design of avionic embedded systems requires high-dependability. In this paper, we studied the dependability of the triple modular redundancy (TMR) hardware for highly reliable aviation embedded system. In order to evaluate the dependability of the base ARM processor and the TMR ARM processor, we developed the simulation model of the reduced ARM and TMR ARM processors and performed the simulation fault injection for the analysis of the dependability of the two targets. In the fault injection experiments, we calculated the error recovery rate of the two the processor models. From the experimental results, we could confirm that the reliability of the TMR ARM processor was greater than the single ARM processor by ten times in some cases.
A Study on the Performance Characteristics of Turbocharged Engine for the Stable Control

In this study, the performance characteristics of turbocharged engine is analyzed. The methods of engine performance improvements are suggested not only for full load characteristics of the engine but also for partial load characteristics of the engine, which is more frequently used in actual driving conditions. The compression ratio of the compressor is increased rapidly in a straight line pattern until 1260 engine rpm, and after that it is increased slowly to 2.5 ratio. Also the brake mean effective pressure increased until 1260 engine rpm and decreased rapidly after 1600 engine rpm. The higher the pressure ratio, the better the fuel consumption, air excess ratio and brake mean effective pressure. But those are higher in the rated revolution range than in the mid-low revolution range. The turbocharger is operated in a stable condition from 1260 rpm and its efficiency is low in the low speed range for the reason of its characteristics. The results of this study can be applied in the fundamental control methods of turbocharged engine for stable load and speed.
Improved Rate-Distortion Estimation for Mode Decision in H.264/AVC

This paper presented a rate-distortion estimation method for effective mode decision in H.264/AVC. In this approach, in order to decide a mode, laplacian distribution modeling of DCT coefficients is utilized, which do not need to such process as quantization, entropy coding. From the simulation results, proposed a method showed that rate-distortion between proposed scheme and practical value was almost the same and performed 0.02dB of PSNR gain.
An Ontological and Rule-based Reasoning for Music Recommendation using Musical Moods

In this paper, we propose Context-based Music Recommendation (COMUS) ontology for modeling user's musical preferences and context and for supporting reasoning about the user's desired emotion and preferences. The COMUS provides an upper Music Ontology that captures concepts about the general properties of music such as title, artists and genre and also provides extensibility for adding domain-specific ontologies, such as Mood and Situation, in a hierarchical manner. The COMUS is music dedicated ontology in OWL constructed by incorporating domain specific classes for music recommendation into the Music Ontology. Using this context ontology, we believe that the use of logical reasoning by checking the consistency of context information, and reasoning over the high-level, implicit context from the low-level, explicit information. As a novelty, our ontology can express detailed and complicated relations among the music, moods and situations, enabling users to find appropriate music for the application. We present some of the experiments we performed as a case-study for music recommendation.
A Study on the Imperfect Debugging of Logistic Testing Function

The software reliability growth model(SRGM) has been developed in order to estimate such reliability measures as remaining fault number, failure rate and reliability for the developing stage software. Almost of them assumed that the faults detected during testing were eventually removed. Namely, they have studied SRGM based on the assumption that the faults detected during testing were perfectly removed. The fault removing efficiency, however, is imperfect and it is widely known as so in general. It is very difficult to remove detected fault perfectly because the fault detecting is not easy and new error may be introduced during debugging and correcting. Therefore, We want to study imperfect software testing effort for the logistic testing effort which is thought to be the most adequate in this paper.
