A Multi Radar Fusion Algorithm for Reliable Maneuvering Target Tracking

Data Fusion algorithm is essential in Target Detection using radar, and it has more reliability. In this paper, Multi Radar Fusion algorithm using IMM(Interacting Multiple Model) filter is suggested. This well-known IMM filter has better performance than Kalman filter has. In this simulation, Distributed Data Fusion process was applied, and three sub-filters and one main filter were employed. In addition, this simulation was evaluated by virtual radar data which include constant velocity, constant accelerate, turn rate. The result of an evaluation shows better performance in the maneuvering section of aircraft.
A New Design Method of a Code Tracking Loop using C/N0 in a GPS Receiver

The characteristics of a discriminator estimating a tracking error in a signal tracking loop of a GPS receiver can be affected by the noise power, and the slope of the discriminator function is actually lowered as the noise power increases. In this paper, an algorithm to compensate the lowered slope of the function using the estimated C/N0 is studied, and a new design method of a code tracking which provides more accurate tracking error than a conventional one by adopting the compensation algorithm is proposed. Through the experimental results, finally, it has been check that the accuracy of the proposed DLL is enhanced about 50% when the dynamics of the vehicle is 20g/s.
System Kinetic Model based Cycle Slip Free Technique for GPS Carrier Phase Precise Positioning

It is necessary to resolve integer ambiguity in GPS carrier based precise positioning. If there is no signal blockage or cycle slip, the integer ambiguity does not changed. however, signal blockage and cycle slip occur frequently under real operational environment. under this situation, integer ambiguity maintenance is indispensable for continuity of navigation information. In this paper, a cycle slip free technique is proposed for simplifying integer ambiguity maintenance procedure. this technique tested with simulated carrier phase signal with cycle slip aided intentionally. As a result, the proposed technique can give navigation information continuously even if cycle slip is occured.
Availability Performance Analysis of Korean Wide Area Differential GNSS Test Bed

For using Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS) in the civil aviation, it should satisfies the Required Navigation Performances(RNPs) which are defined by International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO). RNP defines the required accuracy, integrity, availability, continuity of each flight procedure. In order to guarantee user's integrity, user's protection level has to be overestimated. On the other hand, for improving user's availability, user's protection level has to be estimated tightly. Therefore protection level should be estimated as tight as possible while it assuring the user's integrity. This paper describes the current integrity function of Korean WAD GNSS test bed, and predicts the availability performance of Korean WAD GNSS by simulation.
A Study On Message Scheduling Algorithm for Wide Area Differential GNSS Considering International Standard

Global Navagation Satellite System(GNSS) is divided into Local Area Differential GNSS and Wide Area Differential GNSS. Wide Area DGNSS has more complicated structure and massage type. And transfer rate is limited, so efficient message scheduling algorithm is needed to guarantee user's accuracy and integrity. There are about 30 message types in Wide Area DGNSS. Each message type has different update interval. In this paper, the performances of message scheduling algorithm for Wide Area Differential GNSS are investigated. For all message types, results show that max update time interval requirement is satisfied.
Performance Test of the WAAS Tropospheric Delay Model for the Korean WA-DGNSS

The precipitable water vapor (PW) was estimated using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) from several GNSS stations within the Korean Peninsula. Nearby radiosonde sites covering the GNSS stations were used for the comparison and validation of test results. GNSS data recorded under typical and severe weather conditions were used to generalize our approach. Based on the analysis, we have confirmed that the derived PW values from the GNSS observables were well agreed on the estimates from the radiosonde observables within 10 mm level. Assuming that the GNSS observables could be a good weather monitoring tool, we further tested the performance of the current WAAS tropospheric delay model, UNB3, in the Korean Peninsula. Especially, the wet zenith delays estimated from the GNSS observables and from UNB3 delay model were compared. Test results showed that the modelled approach for the troposphere (i.e., UNB3) did not perform well especially under the wet weather conditions in the Korean Peninsula. It was suggested that a new model or a near real-time model (e.g., based on regional model from GNSS or numerical weather model) would be highly desirable for the Korean WA-DGNSS to minimize the effects of the tropospheric delay and hence to achieve high precision vertical navigation solutions.
Performance Evaluation of Total-state UKF for Multipath Error in Tightly-coupled GPS/INS Integration

This paper considers the performance of tightly-coupled GPS/INS integration using total-state UKF (Unscented Kalman Filter) for multipath error. In the city canyon there exists large multipath error and it may happen that GPS satellites are seen only three or less. For these situations simulations show that the performance of total-state UKF is better than that of EKF in the presence of multipath error. The total-state UKF shows robust performance for multipath error.

In this paper, H-polarized electromagnetic scattering problems by a resistive strip grating over a grounded dielectric plane according to the strip width and grating period, the relative permittivity and thickness of a dielectric layer, and incident angles of a TE (transverse electric) plane wave are analyzed by applying the FGMM (Fourier-Galerkin Moment Method). The tapered resistivity of resistive strips in this paper varies from finite resistivity at one edge to zero resistivity at the other edge, then the induced surface current density on the resistive strip is expanded in a series of Jacobi polynomials of the order
as a kind of orthogonal polynomials. The numerical results of the normalized reflected power show in good agreement with those of existing papers.

Rao-Blackwellized Multiple Model Particle Filter Data Fusion algorithm

It is generally known that particle filters can produce consistent target tracking performance in comparison to the Kalman filter for non-linear and non-Gaussian systems. In this paper, I propose a Rao-Blackwellized multiple model particle filter(RBMMPF) to enhance computational efficiency of the particle filters as well as to reduce sensitivity of modeling. Despite that the Rao-Blackwellized particle filter needs less particles than general particle filter, it has a similar tracking performance with a less computational load. Comparison results for performance is listed for the using single sensor information RBMMPF and using multisensor data fusion RBMMPF.
Distributed Relay Power Control Scheme for Multi-cell OFDM-TDD Based Mobile Relay System

In this paper, a distributed mobile relay power control (DMRPC) scheme for maximizing individual cell throughput is proposed for mobile relay aided multi-cell orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-time division duplex (TDD) system. In the system with DMRPC, the power levels of relay's are controlled by individual cell without cell cooperation and signalling overhead. It is demonstrated by numerical simulation that DMRPC provides the better cell throughput performance than either the full power relay aided system or conventional system without relay does. Moreover, it is also shown that relay aided systems with DMRPC, and the conventional system have almost identical cell edge throughput, while full power relay aided systems show worse performance in cell edge throughput.
Common-Mode Suppression Balanced Filter based on Composite Right/Left-Handed Transmission Line

This paper presents a novel balanced filter design based on a metamaterial structure applicable to differential-mode excitation. The metamaterial structure is based on a unit-cell which under a differential-mode excitation behaves like composite right/left-handed(CRLH) metamaterial with filter characteristics. In contrast, the metamaterial unit-cell is below cut-off under a common-mode excitation. Experimental results are used to verify the proposed metamaterial's differential-mode characteristics. The metamaterial is fabricated with a balanced filter design resulting in an operating frequency range of 960~1000 MHz with a insertion loss of 4.1 dB.
An Unequal Dual-Band Lumped Element Power Divider

This paper presents the design and measured performances of an unequal dual-band power divider using lumped elements. After the divider is designed using the conventional single band Wilkinson topology with lumped elements, we obtained the dual band characteristics with filter conversion method. This design method has the features of compact size and easy fabrication, because the high impedance transmission line realizes the lumped elements of equivalent circuit. As an example, an 2:1 divider has been designed and measured at 880 MHz and 1650 MHz in order to show the validity of the proposed unequal divider. The measured performances of the unequal power divider agree with the simulation results.
Study on the Next Disaster Safety Communication Network in M2M Communication

In the past few years, M2M (Machine-to-Machine) applications have become a hot topic in the wireless industry. While M2M applications can be used for many purposes (smart homes, smart metering/electricity meter reading, fleet management, mobile workforce, automobile insurance, vending machines, etc), and in many sectors (healthcare, agriculture, commercial, industrial, retail, utility, etc.), smart metering applications or smart grids present the biggest growth potential in the M2M market today. M2M platform is the future ubiquitous network technologies which provide the integrated service with the networks and devices. The promising technologies to tackle these problems are the Semantic technologies, for interoperability, and the Agent technologies for management of complex systems. In this paper the information communication technique based on the disaster prevention system's for the M2M, concepts and its requirement technology and application are studied.
A DSP Implementation of the BICM Module for DVB-T2 Receivers

In this paper, we design the hardware architecture of the BICM(Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation) module for next generation European broadcast system and implement the BICM module with DSP(Digital Signal Processor) TMS320C6474. Simulation result shows that the BER(Bit Error Rate) performance of the fixed-point BICM module using more than 8 bits is very similar to that of the floating-point BICM module.
Characteristics Analysis of Class E Frequency Multiplier using FET Switch Model

This paper has presented research results for the switching mode class E frequency multiplier that has simple circuit structure and high efficiency. Frequency multiplication is coming from the nonlinearity of the active component, and this paper models the FET active component as a simple switch and some parasitics to analyze the characteristics. The matching component parameters for the class E frequency doubler have been derived with modeling the FET as a input controlled switch and some parasitics. A circuit simulator, ADS, is used to simulate the output voltage and current waveform and efficiency with the variation of the parasitic values. With 2.9GHz input and 2V bias, the drain efficiency has been decreased from 98% to 28% with changing the parasitic capacitance from 0pF to 1pF at 5.8GHz output, which shows that the parasitic capacitance CP has the most significant effect on the efficiency among the parasitics of FET.

In this paper, we implemented an android mobile management application of intelligent prevention of disaster system which can manage the current status monitoring and whether operating or not by using Ubiquitous Sensor Network based self wireless communication system of scattered emergency light, fire extinguishers and sprinkler inside the high complex building. This system is composed with fire facilities attached sensor nodes, management server for collection of information and control, and smart phone application that transmits and receives information with management server. As a result of the test, the embodied android-based smart phone application to be performed anywhere could confirm status and monitoring information of fire facilities which are communicated with the management server.

There are two representative geometry rendering methods. One is Geometry Clipmaps, another is ROAM 2.0. We propose an extended Geometry Clipmaps algorithm which does not focus on CPU operation but the GPU for faster and wider visibility area. The extended algorithm presents mesh configuration method of each level by LOD, how to configurate Mesh network between levels, mesh block method for rendering optimization using VFC, and image mapping method to get high resolution up to 1 m.

Searching distributed resource efficiently is very important in distributed computing, cloud computing environment. Distributed resource searching may have system overheads and take much time in proportion to the searching number, because distributed resource searching has to circuit many peers for searching information. The open-source community project JXTA defines an open set of standard protocols for ad hoc, pervasive, peer-to-peer computing as a common platform for developing a wide variety of decentralized network applications. In this paper, we proposed peer search algorithm based on JXTA-Sim. original JXTA peer searching algorithm selected a loosely-consistent DHT. Our Lookup algorithm decreases message number of WALK_LOOKUP and reduce the network system overload, and we make a result of same performance both original algorithm and our proposed algorithm.

The educational exchange through e-learning is working very well in such case as develop e-learning, development of various learning tools, cooperative practical use of e-learning contents, etc. However because there were no considerations of LMS(Learning Management System) interconnection when each systems were developed, the exchange through e-learning is starting to raise a problem. Hence in this thesis, this paper presents designed model about efficient LMS interconnection through analysis case of exchange through e-learning and deduce problem. In the first place essential part for is defied study such as lecture establishment data, lecture data, user data, class data, student learning tracking to interconnection data, then constituted data interconnection table used view by data interconnection process. By experiment result, the accessibility between students and professors was more convenience, and decreased work process by less data exchange. Henceforth there are researches in development of various essential parts for study, considered security of LMS interconnection.
Implementation of the Smart Emergency Medical System

Recently, the task in which the number of people of the emergency medical technician whom it boards the ambulance is unreasonably insufficient and in which the fire fighter one person gets in the ambulance and which transfers the patient comes into question often. When the emergency patient is generated, it has to transfer to the special hospital in which above anything else, the measure which is quick and exact is needed and where there is the medical device which is suitable for particularly, the patient. This paper implementations the emergency medical system by the smart phone. The implemented system monitors the heart beat of the patient the monitoring among the patient transport with the real-time type. It can grasp the medical history information of the patient, and etc. in the past. And the system provides the emergency hospital which the patient requires and the pre-hospital phase provides the environment in which the disposition which is quick and efficient is possible to the emergency patient.

Recently, with improvement of internet service technology, web service has been affecting the environment for computing user. Not only current events, economics, game, entertainment, but also personal financial system is processed by web pages through internet. When data transmission is implemented on the internet, webpage acquire text form code and transform them to DOM information, and then shows processed display to user by web browser. However, those information are not only easily accessed by diversified route, but also easily deformed by intentional purpose. Furthermore, it is also possible to acquire logon information of users and certification information by detouring security mechanism. Therefore, this dissertation propose the method to verify integrity of web contents by using BHO which is one of the Add-On program based on MS Internet Explorer platform which is one of major web browser program designed by MicroSoft to detect any action of webpage deformation.
A Study on the Analysis of Authentication and ID-based key Management Protocol in Online Game Environment

The development of IT technology and breakthrough of the network and the wired network, wireless network boundaries disappear and wired and wireless integrated service environment is the advent in online game environment. However, the wired and wireless integrated service environment appropriate security technology is still inactive, wired and wireless integration environment due to the characteristic as well as security threats wired network and security threats in wireless networks should be considered. Therefore, This wired and wireless integrated environment has been considering studied various, Among them wired and wireless environment considering the lightweight of ID-based authentication and key management has been in progress. In recent, Moon et al. pervasive environment in authentication and ID-based key management protocol is proposed. However, Moon et al.'s scheme is use the ID-based public-key approach to decreased the amount of computation. However, pairing by using a technique similar to the existing public key scheme can represent the amount of computation. Therefore, In this paper the way of Moon etc in security vulnerability analysis.
Algorithm of Face Region Detection in the TV Color Background Image

In this paper, detection algorithm of face region based on skin color of in the TV images is proposed. In the first, reference image is set to the sampled skin color, and then the extracted of face region is candidated using the Euclidean distance between the pixels of TV image. The eye image is detected by using the mean value and standard deviation of the component forming color difference between Y and C through the conversion of RGB color into CMY color model. Detecting the lips image is calculated by utilizing Q component through the conversion of RGB color model into YIQ color space. The detection of the face region is extracted using basis of knowledge by doing logical calculation of the eye image and lips image. To testify the proposed method, some experiments are performed using front color image down loaded from TV color image. Experimental results showed that face region can be detected in both case of the irrespective location & size of the human face.
