The Legal System Method of Software Safety to Strengthen Aviation Safety

The defect caused by the software industry that is the source of knowledge-centric, information-centric and technology-centric affects an engine which operate a major role for operation of aircraft. Therefore, we should minimize the danger from the defect by strengthening the stability of aviation through the stability analysis of software. In this paper, we examine the laws and systems about the aircraft defects and software safety and propose the enhancement and the enactment of the law or measures to strengthen aviation safety. We should the existing law or system as items, such as the revision related to the safety analysis, standards of quality assurance including safety, application of quality assurance that you must attach the safety analysis report, assessment of detailed instructions of certification authorities. In addition, we should enact the new law and system as items such as the mandatory software evaluation and certification, continuous assessment based on the software life cycle, mandatory introduction of a standardized development methodology, strengthening of advanced workforce system. We can expect the improvement of software quality and an enhanced aviation safety by improving existing laws or systems and enacting new laws or systems.
Mobile Robot Navigation using Data Fusion Based on Camera and Ultrasonic Sensors Algorithm

In this paper, we propose a mobile robot navigation algorithm using data fusion of a monocular camera and ultrasonic sensors. Threshold values for binary image processing are generated by a fuzzy inference method using image data and data of ultrasonic sensors. Threshold value variations improve obstacle detection for mobile robot to move to the goal under poor illumination environments. Obstacles detected by data fusion of camera and ultrasonic sensors are expressed on the grid map and avoided using the circular planning algorithm. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by experiments on the Pioneer 2-DX mobile robot in the indoor room with poor lights and a narrow corridor.
Ambiguity Determination Technique for Multiple GPS Reference Stations using the Combination of L1/L2 Carrier Phase

In this paper, we introduce two techniques for resolving integer ambiguities between reference stations, which is one of the most important processes in Network RTK correction generation process. Each techniques uses Hatch filter and combination of L1/L2 measurements and we used simulation data and real data to evaluate performance of the techniques. For evaluating performance of each technique, we compared corrections generated from user site and Network RTK. As a result, Network RTK with the technique which uses Hatch filter improves user performance much more than single baseline RTK does. Residual of user is smaller than a half size of wavelength so it does not affect user integer ambiguity resolution, however, it contains significant bias error. On the other hand, when we used the technique which uses combination of L1/L2 measurements, residual error of user is largely reduced compared to the technique using Hatch filter.

In this paper, developing management programs for EMI tracking can navigate the site quickly and solve EMI tracking cause and location to use materials such as analysis of air accidents, EMI site location data of 1000 RF companys, radio wave spectrum analysis and audio data. these data are databased and used comparable data. Also, EMI has been prevented by establishing continuous monitoring system through a 24-hour surveillance. Therefore we were able to provide high quality air waves in order to prevent aircraft accidents. In addition, radar control staff of Korea Airports Corporation against passenger aircraft that will prevent the worst aircraft accident have been established based to continue periodic aviation frequency protection and Portable Electronic Devices(PED) on board aircraft to prevent the culture of safety campaign.
Vulnerability Analysis on the Strong-Password Mutual Authentication Protocols

Most services need to have authentication protocols to verify users' eligibility in the network environment. For this, a lot of user authentication protocols have been researched and developed. Two of them, SPMA and I-SPMA protocols, introduced the lack of mutual authentication and vulnerability to the reply attack of the prior protocols and suggested revised protocols. Nevertheless, these protocols did not mention about the critical problem caused when the server and the client lose synchronization on the secret information between them. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the security characteristics of the existing protocols and prove the vulnerability to the synchronization of the protocols.
Implementation of e-Meters System Middleware base on RFID/USN

In this paper, e-Meters middleware and applications using standardized middleware in the EPCglobal is suggested. An standardized middleware of the EPCglobal is designed to manage as a form of SCM and other logistics. In order to support a variety of services using RFID-based, the system must be able to support each protocol. The main features of e-Meters middleware is consist of information status and delivery, distributed database processing, event data analysis, and handling. To operate real time e-Meters system information, The realized middleware is configured to process the results of data collection.
Effect of SNR Estimation Error on MMSE-DFE in High-speed Binary CDMA System

In this paper, we have analyzed the effect of SNR estimation error on the BER performance of MMSE-DFE in high-speed binary CDMA system. Since MMSE equalization algorithm requires the SNR value of input signal, it should be estimated using CAZAC sequence in preamble. However, when AWGN and ISI exist simultaneously, it is impossible to estimate the exact SNR value of input signal and thereby equalizer's performance may be deteriorated. The simulation results can be used as a guideline for selection of SNR estimation algorithm for MMSE-DFE design.

In this paper, the G-File on the location information stored in the algorithm that can be managed is proposed. G-File on the algorithm used to manage the information to the user, G-File management is to provide convenience.
Coding Rule of Characters by 2 bytes with 4×4 bits to Improve the Transmission Efficiency in Data Communications

This paper propose the rule of coding for the characters and symbol, etc which are used in computer, information devices, etc. When they use the rule of coding, they may improve the efficiency of transmission in data communications by reducing the number of scrambling during the line coding in the coder in the transmitter. The paper considered the codes of two bytes(16 bits) of 4bits column
4bits rows. In the paper, we applied the code system of Roman characters in KS X 1001.
Channel Reservation Scheme Using Wiener Prediction Theory for Cognitive Radio Networks

This paper presents a channel reservation scheme using Wiener prediction model in order to reduce the rate of forced termination of cognitive users in cognitive radio networks. The proposed method uses Wiener prediction model to predict the number of radio channel required by the reappearance of primary users, and then calculates and reserves the number of channels that cognitive users demand for their spectrum handoff. Through the simulation we investigate cognitive users' forced termination rate and blocking rate with and without channel reservation. In addition we show the bandwidth utilization efficiency for both cases. The results show that the proposed scheme can reduce the forced termination rate of cognitive users at the cost of slightly increasing in blocking rate. Also it is seen that there is little difference in bandwidth utilization efficiency for both cases.
Multi-channel QoS scheduling algorithm in IEEE 802.15.4e

IEEE 802.15.4 is a standard for LWPAN based on TDMA. IEEE 802.15.4 has not been used widely because of restrictions on the QoS, scalability, and reliability. IEEE 802.15.4 utilizes GTS for one-hop QoS transmission. However GTS is not an effective method to satisfy QoS in multi-hop environments. Currently IEEE 802.15.4e, an extended version of IEEE 802.15.4 MAC sub-layer, is being developed to satisfy more diverse performance requirements than IEEE 802.15.4. IEEE 802.15.4e provides muti-hop QoS transmission functionality and uses multiple frequency channels. In this paper, a multi-channel TDMA scheduling scheme is proposed to satisfy end-to-end transmission delay in IEEE 802.15.4e. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated using simulation.
Power Divider using Shunt Open-Stub Loaded Transmission Line

This paper presents a Bagley polygon and Gysel divider using open-stub loaded transmission line. The structure of slow-wave characteristic consists of small transmission line and shunt capacitive open stub that have reduced characteristic impedance and phase velocity, so we can implement the small circuit size. To validate the slow-wave characteristics, we are implemented the slow-wave characteristic of Bagley polygon and Gysel divider at center frequency 2.1 GHz. Its characteristics are same, but the circuit size is reduced above 15 % respectively.
A Weight on Boolean Algebras for Cryptography and Error Correcting Codes

A sphere-packing problem is to find an arrangement of the spheres to fill as large area of the given space as possible, and covering problems are optimization problems which are dual problems to the packing problems. We generalize the concepts of the weight and the Hamming distance for a binary code to those of Boolean algebra. In this paper, we define a weight and a distance on a Boolean algebra and research some properties of the weight and the distance. Also, we prove the notions of the sphere-packing bound and the Gilbert-Varshamov bound on Boolean algebra.
Linear Characteristics Improvement of X-band TWT Amplifier for Satellite Communication with Linearizer

This paper has analyzed the AM-AM and AM-PM characteristics of 7.9 GHz~8.4 GHz X-band TWT used for satellite communication and improved its linearity and IMD performance by using linearizer. The TWT amplifier with the linearizer shows better AM-AM and AM-PM conversion, and has increased 1 dB compression point by 12.3 dB and
phase distortion point by 10 dB. The 3rd order intermodulation distortion, IMD3 is measured to be 37.0 dBc that is 16.2 dB improvement at the operating output. This paper also proposed the measurement method of IMD for high power amplifier, and that TWT amplifier can have better linearity and output power by compensating for the AM-PM characteristics.
Design and Implementation of the Growth Environment Monitoring System Based on IT Convergence

In this paper, to promote the production of agricultural products, it is goal to design and implement the growth environmental management monitoring system. Based on the IT convergence technology, it consists of four components such as sensor nodes to sense environmental factors, sink nodes to communicate with sensors, gateway to link sinknodes to monitoring system, and monitoring software. With monitoring process for temperature and humidity, we can obtain the bast growth environment to be maintained deviation value 10% for temperature and humidity.
On Performance Enhancement of CDP(Continuous Data Protection) System Using Flash SSD

If the System is downed by computer or disasters, it can have a bad influence on the reliability of the corporation and business continuity because all companies are computerized. Accordingly, interest on the business continuity without the loss of data in the corporate is increasing. In this paper, system faults have been defined as physical faults and logical faults and CDP solution using Flash SSD has been proposed for enhancing IOPS which is needed for realtime-backup. In order to measure IOPS performance of the CDP using Flash SSD, we constructed an experimental system. From the results we can see that IOPS performance of CDP using Flash SSD is about 50 times more effective than that of the S-ATA.
A Study on the Influence of Emotional Labor and Social Support on Airline Call Center Agent Burnout

In the subject experiment of this paper, contrary to the existing thesis about the emotional labor of people in the face-to-face service industry, I have chosen call center agents as they are primary first point of contact with customers in the airline industry. The main purpose of this experiment is to understand the relationship in between workplace burnout and emotional labor. In this study, I have investigated the following concepts; the effect of mediation on emotional labor, the different levels of emotional labor, and recommendations for improvement of competitive power to the call center agent as a member of the organization. The main results of experiment are as follows. First, the emotional labor given by the airline call center agents affects the rate of burnout. Second, support from workplace superiors showed that mediation had an effect on the relationship between emotional labor and burnout, however support from co-workers had no effect whatsoever. It is hope that this paper would supply information to give a competitive edge for airline call centers and their agents.
Maturity model considering the interrelation between software project management areas

Recently, as the project becomes larger and the number of project increases by the information system integration in the public and financial sectors, it is necessary to have a proper plan to manage the information system project. There have been many researches about the project management, success elements and failure elements, but the research on the interrelation between project management areas leaves much to be desired. This research deduces the scope, schedule, quality, work force and risk as the project management areas from the preceding research and the questionnaire and interview with PM developers, information system builders and data processing experts. And, it analyzes the interrelation and the relative importance between management areas, classifies the progress of the management areas under plan, implementation and completion stage and presents the frame to evaluate the accomplishment of each progress.
BLDC Motor Control Unit for Automation of X ray Equipment

X-ray device used in the diagnosis has made possible to have more effective and accurate diagnosis, powered by the development of various devices. Based on this, X-ray device has become the most basic and essential diagnostic equipment in clinical medicine. At present, in the image acquisition field using X-ray, the use of Digital radiography which is useful in the acquisition time reduction and transfer of images and is possible to have the dose reduction has expanded. With the structure using one detector, this DR device has disadvantages in that it needs structural changes unlike existing X-ray and the detector should be moved to the desired position depending on the shooting location. Therefore, in this study, using BLDC(Brushless direct current) motor and PID(Proportional integral differential) control method, the automatic control system of 3-axis which is upward and downward, left and right and rotation of detector where having the most movement in DR was designed and produced and its performance was evaluated.
A Study on RFID Sensors Location Tracking Systems Using Cooperative Spectrum Sensing

Various technologies such as infrared light, ultrasonic waves, RFID, GPS, UWB, and signal indicators have been incorporated in the location tracking system. However, such pre-existing systems require location recognition in shadow areas. This study proposes a location tracking system that utilizes Cooperative Spectrum Sensing. Cooperative Spectrum Sensing is not only able to track the location and path of moving objects but also recognize when objects breakaway from the path set by sensors and guide them back. In addition, it has the advantage of being more efficient in terms of frequency usage. It is able to automatically fix power transmission and frequency modulation for transmission cognitive users to an optimum level within the range that does not cause interference for primary users.
Study on Chinese Medicine Tourism Linked Aerial Service

Until now, many researchers have studied and raised issues on medicine tourism. However, the studies for invigoration of medicine tourism from chinese medicine perspective have not been sufficient. The chinese medicine tourism is a new generated concept that combined health medical service of chinese treatment with health-related tour activity as a kind of health tourism. In this paper, we try to search developmental suggestions and propose alternatives for vitalization of chinese medicine tourism from aerial service view.
Truncation Error Problem of Error Diffusion Method

The error diffusion method is one of the digital halftoning methods that diffuses quantization errors of current processing pixel to neighboring pixels and get a high-quality black-white image. This method has the problematic case which partially increase or decrease summation of diffused errors in the process of diffusing the quantization error. In this paper, we analyze Floyd-Steinberg method, Jarvis-Judice-Ninke method, Stucki method, and Shiau-Fan method as a representative case of error diffusion methods and propose a solution method of this problem.

Today's education make an effort to be done on self-directed learning away from teaching students through a passive learning. In this paper, we implemented leveled incorrect analysis system based on SCORM which targets elementary students in mathematics. This system can analyze learner's weak points of problem scope and problem ability. Also, This led to higher academic achievement in the low level group by compensatory learning of incorrect analysis system according to individual level.

The Impact on Turnover Intension by Job Stress of Airline Pilots

Airline pilots are known as a high stressed group and they are exposed to physical, and psychological stressors. Pilots are important components of airline company and require a significant amount of finances and time for assession training and maintaining certified license validity. The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between job stress perceived by airline pilots and their turnover intension. The results are as follows: organizational stress and reward stress had impacts on turnover intention. In conclusion, this study is meaningful to improve the efficiency of pilots organization and suggest better ways of human resource strategies and eventually for the success of airline company.

CUPPS is the latest international standard passenger processing system which is operated with airlines' check-in system, DCS (Departure Control System) in order to provide check-in and boarding services to passengers. The CUPPS standard has been revised in August 2009 leading by IATA (International Air Transport Association) who recommends replacing old legacy common use system with CUPPS to airports and airlines around the world. IATA is expecting to reduce the installation and maintenance cost of CUPPS by standardizing various legacy common use systems and device controls. Airlines are also expecting to take advantage of the system to reduce the application development cost as developing only one standard CUPPS application instead of developing multiple applications for nonstandard legacy systems. This research which focuses on development completed AIRCUS, R&D project of ministry of land, transport and maritime affairs accomplished by IIA, will present the result of pilot trial and the effective approach methods to increase the possibility of expanding overseas business by comparing old legacy system with CUPPS to prove the dominance of CUPPS over the legacy systems as well as doing foreign case studies.
The Implementation of Emergency Light Monitoring System by Intelligent Cluster Surveillance Network

In this paper, we structured the intelligent cluster surveillance network which can be managed scattered-the emergency light without communication line. Will not be interfered in location of emergency light and not to be will be able to establish the system. And the surveillance network there is by a destroyer and the communication relay system is born breakdown but the dead zone without condition of emergency light implemented the emergency light management system where the monitoring and management are possible. And we implemented the emergency light surveillance equipment and the emergency light monitoring system. Some experiments were conducted to verify so as to proposed system, and the system processes such as the surveillance network, the status information measurement and initialization were well performed.
A Study on the influences of the Relationship Characteristics between Airlines and Travel Agencies to the Conflict

This study purpose to find out how the relationship characteristics between travel agencies and airlines affect the conflict. As a result of analysis, competition, specialty, uncertainty of environment, frequency of contact and cooperation from the airline's answers have an effect on conflict while variability of environment, similarity, frequency of contact and specialty from the travel agency's answers are affected. In terms of relationship characteristics and conflict between airlines and travel agencies, competition, similarity, frequency of contact and difference of perception and communication difficulty are affected. The relationship characteristics from the result of this study makes a contribution in reducing conflict and improving positive relationship between airlines and travel agencies.
The method to Apply User Preference for On-line Shopping Mall: A Topic Map approach

In this paper, we propose a method to apply the purchase preference of a user in on-line shopping mall. To analyze the preference, we use topic preference vector. The topic is purchase count of products. In this structure, we construct the association the four factors; Purchase Hit meaning the purchase count of product, Count meaning the purchase count by other users in interesting product, Preference meaning product preference, and product meaning information of the product. By this structure and the method, we could show that proposed method displayed the product applying user preference, effectively.
