A Proposal for Domestic Implementation Policy of Next Generation ACAS System

Though the functions and operational procedures of current ACAS-II are upgraded several times owing to technical advancement, so far the mid-air collision accidents never come to an end. Recently to solve the major issues of ACAS-II, ICAO began to develop a future ACAS (Airborne Collision Avoidance System) by the year 2015. Accordingly in order to prepare for international standardization of the future ACAS, in this paper a policy is proposed for domestic implementation of the future ACAS based on the results from studying the technical standards and future development trends of ACAS.
Design of GPS L1 C/A Spoofing Signal Detection Algorithm

In this paper, an effect on a GPS receiver by spoofing signal is analyzed and a GPS spoofing signal detection algorithm for GPS L1 C/A spoofing signal is proposed. A proposed detection algorithm monitors the correlation function distortion by the spoofing signal. If detected distortion is over a detection threshold, we can determine that the spoofing signal is received. The detection threshold is calculated from the statistical characteristics of a thermal noise. For verifying the suggested algorithm, a MATLAB-based simulation platform is implemented. This platform has functionalities to track GPS signal and measure the correlation values. By using this platform, the correlation function distortion by spoofing signal is observed. Also a performance of the algorithm proposed in this paper is applied and confirm the detection of a spoofing signal.
Design and Implementation of ontology based context-awareness platform using driver intent information

In this paper, we devise a new ontology-based context-aware system to recognize the smart car information, in which driver's intent is utilized by information of car, driver, environment as well as driving state, driver state. So proposed system can handle dynamically risk changes by adding real-time situational awareness information. We utilize the camera image recognition technology for context-aware intelligent vehicle driving information, and implement information acquisition scheme OBD-II protocol to acquire vehicle's information. Experiments confirm that the proposed advanced driver safety assist system outperforms the conventional system, which only utilizes the information of vehicle, driver, and environmental information, to support the service of a high-speed driving, lane-departure service and emergency braking situation awareness.
The Design and Implementation of ECU Simulator for the Smart Vehicle based on FOTA

This paper presents the design and development of ECU simulator in order to verify automatic firmware update system of ECU SW on the vehicle. We designed and developed general-proposed ECU simulator as devide into HW and SW parts. HWadopt 32bit MPU, CAN, LIN, LCD, and touch-pad button to satisfy general-proposed ECU level. And SW constructed as finite-state-machine structure in order to support HW spec. We developed ECU manager which deliveries update data to verify validity of operation. And we tested ECU simulator with ECU manager. For test of validity of ECU simulator, we set 4 scenarios between ECU simulator and manager. As the result, we confirmed validity of operation in ECU simulator for automatic SW update system.
Network Modeling and Analysis of Multi Radar Data Fusion for Efficient Detection of Aircraft Position

Data fusion techniques combine data from multiple radars and related information to achieve more accurate estimations than could be achieved by a single, independent radar. In this paper, we analyze delay and loss of packets to be processed by multiple radar and minimize data processing interval from centralized data processing operation as fusing multiple radar data. Therefore, we model radar network about central data fusion, and analyze delay and loss of packets inside queues on assuming queues respectively as the M/M/1/K using NS-2. We confirmed average delay time, processing fused multiple radar data, through the analysis data. And then, this delay time can be used as a reference time for radar data latency in fusion center.
A Study on Low Power Energy Transfer Circuits of the Non Contact Method by means of Solar Generation

In this paper, it is about to non-contact wireless power transmission according to various conditions of self induction principle between the two planar coils at a transmission unit and a receiving unit based on the theory of wireless power transmission. The experiments are occurred in order to power transfer of noncontact method from designed wireless circuits in the primely coil and secondary coil, and the applying to Half Bridge Resonant converter transmission unit and receiving unit. and that were able to prepared circumstance to calculate of the output voltage and power source. The main power of the inductive coupling the resonant converter at the transmission unit is converted electrical energy using the solar cell module and artificial light source (halogen lamp) as a replace light and received 24 V power supply from solar power was used a input power source for the wireless power transmission device. Experimental results, to received of power is used to illuminate the lighting and to charge the battery in receiving circuit.And the wireless power transmission efficiency measured at the output side of the transmission unit is obtained about 70% to 89% compared to input power of receiving unit.In addition, efficiency were tested through ID verification method and comparing the phase difference between the voltage when foreign substances interfere with wireless power transmission.
Digital Watermarking Method using Discrete Optimization Method

In recent, watermarking technology have been paying attention to methods avoiding illegal use and reproduce of digital contents. Then, in order to protect the right of digital contents, a watermark image is inserted into original images. In different watermarking methods, several technologies using Ant Colony Algorithm have been studied. In this paper, we propose a watermarking method using a discrete optimization method in the ants colony algorithm. This proposed method resembls the process that ants follow the pheromone traps to find out food. And when a watermark image is inserted into original images, the proposed method considers the deployment of obstacles or the balance between cells in the entire digital image. Simulation results show that the proposed method is increased in robustness of watermarked image and is decreased in the perceptibility of watermarking compared to the previous methods.

Recently, importance of digital forensics has increased and using analysis methods of digital evidence in the analysis of evidence of various types. However, analysis time and effort is steadily increasing because personal disk capacity is too big and it has many number of files. Most digital evidence has time property, such as access time, creation time, and modification time. These time information of digital evidence is one of most important factors in the digital forensic area. But if digital examiner simply analyze based on binary source only, it is possible to have wrong result because time has various types. In this paper, we classify various type of time in the digital evidence and describe advanced analysis method based on timeline chart for digital forensic investigation.
A Study on AC/DC Power Converter of Energy Harvesting for Considered to Solar Position Tracking Control

In this paper, the solar cell need the characteristic interpreting because the solar cell changes greatly according to the isolation, temperature and load in the photovoltaic development. Moreover, to get many energy in photovoltaic development need the position tracking of the sun according to the environment change and it is necessary to control the output of solar cells up to the time. Simulation and composed microprocessor and sensor chip an power conversion system with boost converter to experiment results are performed to prove the analysis of the converter operation, and to show the possibility of energy harvesting and photovoltaic development need the position tracking small capacitance, the boost rate of boost converter was similar to 167 percent.
A Video Pictures-based Error Control Method for Improving Resources Efficiency over Wireless Networks

Due to the development of the communication technology and the high-performance mobile device, the number of video streaming service user has been increasing. Video streaming services in the restricted network environments need error control to support users for the Ultra High Definition(UHD) video delivery. Packet-level FEC method was used to control the error for delay-sensitive video service, but it has a defect in huge occupation of network resources by redundant packets. In this paper, we proposed a packet-level FEC algorithm which maintains the video quality by previous FEC methods and also reduces the occupation of network resource in the restricted network environments. The proposed algorithm controls the redundant rate with using the delivery characteristic of the video coding technology, and improves the efficiency of network resources by reducing the traffic by around 33% in comparison with the previous FEC methods.

This paper suggested an error control for multi-channel running on machine to machine environment. This system is suitable for recovering software fault for multimedia CSCW(Computer Supported Cooperative Works) based on machine to machine environment. It is necessary for the system to be protected by reactivity of media service instance instead of breaking process of session. This paper explains a performance analysis of an error recovery system of M2M based computing collaboration environment using rule-based DEVS modeling and simulation techniques.
Fast Convergent Solution of TM Scattering by Conducting Strip Grating on Two Dielectric Layers

In this paper, the solutions of TM (transverse magnetic) scattering problems by perfectly conducting strip grating on two dielectric layers are analyzed by applying the FGMM (Fourier Galerkin moment method) as a numerical method. For the TM scattering problem, the induced surface current density is expected to the very high value at both edges of the strip, then the induced surface current density on the strip is expanded in a series of the multiplication of the functions of appropriate edge boundary condition and the Chebyshev polynomials of the first kind. The numerical results are obtained for the magnitude of induced current density, the normalized reflected power and transmitted power. The numerical results using proposed functions were improved the convergence faster than existing exponential functions, and the numerical results shown the good agreement compared to those of the existing papers.

Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) is an efficient technology for 20th century communication system. The technology provides broadband speed without the need for cables and is based on the IEEE 802.16 standard(also called Wireless MAN). Mobile WiMAX is defined as IEEE802.16e which is advanced and efficient technology for mobile telecommunication rather than GSM, CDMA technology. In this work link budget calculation for WiMAX have been done. Cell range have been calculated over digital modulations and they are BPSK, QPSK and QAM. Here different types of models like Cost 231 model have been used for different types of areas like open, rural and urban areas and Erceg-Greenstein model for sub-urban areas. Effect of various parameters like frequency, base station antenna height, transmission power and SNR over cell range have been studied. Analysis have done for both uplink and downlink.
Implementation of the Location Tracking and Distress Check System among Firefighters in Indoor Environments

This paper suggests the system that allows nearby firefighters to read about the transmission direction of a distress signal and track the location by RSSI of received distress signal which is transmitted wirelessly after sensing the distress signal of a firefighter using the Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) based on IEEE 802.15.4 and Received Signal Strength Indicator(RSSI) in the building. Also, It was confirmed that the location tracking using RSSI is possible because the difference between theoretical value and experimental value is little when experiment using the proposed system.

The disaster safety communication infrastructure is necessary basic infrastructure for protection of people's lives, safety and wealth. In order to build this infrastructure needs ensure public safety disaster communication technology and cooperation disaster recovery agencies. Recently advanced national disaster safety communication infrastructure necessity according to people's expectations increase for public safety is emerging as domestic and international. And there is situation which required leading rolls of country. In this paper, we analyzed public disaster safety communication status of domestic and international. Also, we analyzed Korea disaster safety communication management necessity and proposed its policy implication.

Smart TV is to form a market of new industries along with the smartphone that appeared in the early 2000s. With the development of IT technology and the emergence of smart phones, user to pursue the application of high satisfaction. The smartphone has to meet the needs of the user in a variety of applications. However, Smart TV which led to a decrease in the development of a member of the application that reflect the needs of the user.
