A Study on a Smart Digital Signage Using Bayesian Age Estimation Technique for the Next Generation Airport Service

We propose an age estimation-based smart digital signage for the next-generation airport service. The proposed system can recognize the face of the customer so that it can display the selective information. Using a webcam, the system captures the face of the customer and estimates the age of the customer by calculating the wrinkle density of the face and applying bayesian classifier. The developed age estimation method is tested with a face database for the performance evaluation. We expect the new digital signage may improve the satisfaction of customers of the airport business.
Implementation of π/4-DQPSK Modem for Maritime Digital Communication in VHF Band

Rec. ITU-R M.1842-1 is international recommendation for VHF band communication guideline in maritime mobile service RR Appendix 18 channels. In this paper, we simulate 28.8 kbps VHF
/4-DQPSK digital baseband modem compatible with the recommendation, then it is designed and implemented with FPGA. Cazac sequence is used as a preamble since packet format is not defined untill now in the recommendation. Baseband modem is designed by VHDL language and implemented on NEXYS4 development platform having Atrix7 FPGA chip from Xilinx. For wireless communication test of total prototype system, ADC/DAC board is implemented and EV9730 RF module is utilized. From the experimental results, implemented FPGA modem shows spectral bandwidth of 25 kHz and successful data exchanges between tx and rx communication platform.

For improvement of network RTK performance in survey field, Spatial Information Research Institute (SIRI), LX Korea Cadastral Survey Corporation installed 30 GNSS permanent stations in Korea Peninsula, and has been running the MAC-based network RTK service as a test version. In this paper, we introduce the LX GNSS network and analyze the positioning accuracy of the LX MAC RTK service. For field test of the LX MAC RTK service, we installed temporally fixed anchor points and observed simultaneously with VRS of National Geographic Information Institute. Development of LX GNSS On-line Data Processing System Based on the GIPSY-OASIS

Data processing service via internet help user to get the GNSS data processing result more precise and easily. Thus, online data process system is operated and developed by various research groups and national. But this service is difficult to use in domestic cadastral survey. In this study, we developed the online data processing system for a domestic cadastral survey. This is calculated coordinate using NGII CORS(SUWN) fiducially. And use PPP technique by GIPSY-OASIS. If user choose the observation data which want to calculate the coordinate, then is uploaded to GIPSY-OASIS server through FTP. After upload is complete, server automatically calculate coordinate, and send the report about result using e-mail. And it takes 2 minutes runtime on the basis of the 3 sessions. To verify the result, we used the data on SOUL, JUNJ as compared with notified-coordinate from NGII. As a result, got the difference for east-west 1.4 cm, north-south -1.0 cm, vertical 0.5 cm.

This study is safety assessment standard for advanced surface movement guidance control system (A-SMGCS) and case study of the past research project. A-SMGCS providing routing, guidance and surveillance for the control of aircraft and vehicles in order to maintain the declared surface movement rate under all weather conditions within the aerodrome visibility operational level while maintaining the required level of safety. Recently, in korea and europe are developing A-SMGCS system for the safety control of the airport movement area. In safety oriented industry such as aviation that it is necessary to verify and ensure for operating system. In this case study, analysis of safety assessment standard for verified A-SMGCS target level of safety (TLS) and previous developed A-SMGCS research project.

Since 2009 the number of users of smart phones and tablet PC is growing exponentially. In particular Apple's iOS and Google's Android OS are the heart of this remarkable growth, most of smart phone and tablet PC are designed to operate based on these two OS. Such increasing use of smart devices has led to changes in the social environment that allows, without the constraints of time and place. However, such development does not supply only ease to do something, even compared to past, financial fraud and information leakage are easier than before by variety of new types of attack for example phishing, pharming, smishing and qshing. So according to this paper, analyzes for smishing attack, propose a countermeasure system of the technical way and proved its higher performance compare to the existing method.
A Study on the Test Apparatus for Increasing the Reliability and Productivity of the Mobile Earphones

Recently, it is expected that the domestic production of multimedia devices including smart phones and tablets will be over 7 billion in total. Mobile earphones, one of the main parts in such devices, have been produced more than the production of multimedia devices. Manufacturers cost a lot to test the performance of mobile earphones because the quality of mobile earphones is very important even if their prices are low. This paper has proposed the integrated equipment to reduce the costs and time for the performance test of existing mobile earphones.
BIA Feasibility Analysis as Predictors of Cardiovascular Disease in the Sea (Total Cholesterol Compared with Fat Thickness by Region)

This study have researched on feasibility of bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA, which is simple useful evaluation tool for predictive factor of cardiovascular disease) to patients who have to travel along the sea for a long-period time and have difficulty in visiting medical institutions. We studied on the basis of total cholesterol value, which is nowadays widely used tool for predictive factor of cardiovascular disease, and also studied its association with BIA value via statistical analysis. Our result showed correlation with fat thickness of individual sites, and especially, fat thickness of left thigh showed high relation with total cholesterol value. This result shows that people who are in travel of long-period of time at sea are feasible of using BIA to evaluate changes of left thigh fat thickness as predictive factor for cardiovascular disease. Due to lack of advanced researches further studies should be done. And based on special circumstances in sea, more studies should be done to validity concerning this circumstances and accuracy of this evaluation tool.
Image Security System Using Push Server and Smart Device

Recently, the smart devices has been possessed by a large majority of the adult, and offered various personalization services. This paper proposed the lightweight Intelligent Image Security System that notice the existence of any intruder in real time at the place of requiring the security by using smart device. The proposed image security system recognized whether or not intruder exists using the difference frame on the basis of Integral Image and the dynamic background updating algorithms. The intrusion notification is achieved by using the GCM push server that send massages in the application unit of user mobile device, and the SMTP mail server which is use of e-mail standard protocol. In case of the occurrence of intruder, GCM push server send an push-massage by the private mobile device, and SMTP mail server send the intruder's photograph and intrusion time. By the convergence of the various image processing algorithms and the performance of smart device, The proposed image security system can be applied to the various Intelligent Image Security field.
A Study on Seamless Handover Mechanism with Network Virtualization for Wireless Network

The routinized wireless devices such as smart phone have promoted to expand the use of IEEE 802.11 groups. The challenge environments of the wireless network utilizes effectively and user-oriented seamless services that handover is the most desirable issues under the wireless circumstance. In data center software defined network (SDN) has provided the flow routing to reduce costs and complexities. Flow routing has directly offered control for network administrator and has given to reduce delay for users. Under the circumstance of being short of network facilities, SDNs give the virtualization of network environments and to support out of the isolation traffic conditions. It shows that the mechanism of handover makes sure seamless services for higher density of the network infrastructure which is SDN to support network service re-configurable.
An Efficient Hardware Implementation of CABAC Using H/W-S/W Co-design

In this paper, CABAC H/W module is developed using co-design method. After entire H.264/AVC encoder was developed with C using reference SW(JM), CABAC H/W IP is developed as a block in H.264/AVC encoder. Context modeller of CABAC is included on the hardware to update the changed value during binary encoding, which enables the efficient usage of memory and the efficient design of I/O stream. Hardware IP is co-operated with the reference software JM of H.264/AVC, and executed on Virtex-4 FX60 FPGA on ML410 board. Functional simulation is done using Modelsim. Compared with existing H/W module of CABAC with register-level design, the development time is reduced greatly and software engineer can design H/W module more easily. As a result, the used amount of slice in CABAC is less than 1/3 of that of CAVLC module. The proposed co-design method is useful to provide hardware accelerator in need of speed-up of high efficient video encoder in embedded system.

Information system audit, by checking overall matters about constructing and managing information system, has to contribute to improvement of information system's quality and improving performance of projects. For this, an auditor has to present objective corroborative facts which back up result of audit and ways of improvement, but in reality, general(especially businessmen's) cognition is that audit is biased by way too subjective opinions. Local experience and theoretical research until now propose that tools of automating audit will be an active means of systematically collecting and proposing these objective evidences of audit. This research not only verified that in the field of audit, phenomenon of technology application can be explained and predicted by applying TAM, but it also contributed in extending theoretical base on information technology and audit by distinguishing several characteristics which appear in the process of the model's application and analysis.
User Motion Recognition Healthcare System Using Smart-Band

Nowadays there are various smart devices and development with the development of smart phones and that can be attached to the human body wearable computing device has been in the spotlight. In this paper, we proceeded developing wearable devices in watch type which can detect user's movement and developing a system which connects the wearable devices to smart TVs, or smart phones so that users can save and manage their physical information in those devices. Health care wearable devices already existing save information by connecting their systems to smart phones. And, smart TV health applications usually include motion detecting systems using cameras. However, there is a limit when connecting smart phone systems to different devices from various companies. Also, in case of smart TV, because some devices may not have cameras, there can be a limit for users who wants to connect their devices to smart TVs. Wearable device and user information collected by using the smart phone and when it is possible to exercise and manage anywhere. This information can also be confirmed by the smart TV applications. By using this system will be able to take advantage of the study of the behavior of the future work of the user more accurately be measured in recognition technology and other devices.
Implementation of ISO/IEEE 11073-10404 Monitoring System Based on U-Health Service

The u-health service is using portable device such as smart device and it consists of small computing device. The u-health service carry out same performance with desktop computer. We designed message structure based on Bluetooth HDP. This message structure is used to transmit patient's biometric data on the smart device of medical team, patient and family over the mobile network environment. ISO/IEEE 11073 PHD standard was defined based on the method of communication between the agent and the manager. And We are confirmed the reliable transmission of biometric data at the smart device by implementing the android OS based patient information monitoring application to check the status of patient for medical team, patient and family.
A Study on Implementation of Mobile Emergency Medical System Using NFC

Recently the study about a smart health care which is combined IT with BT to provide a variety of health care services are being actively investigated. In order to provide the best possible emergency medical services in a short period of time, it is necessary that the rapid emergency measures in the event of an emergency essential. In this paper, we propose an emergency medical service platform to take effective first aid to person who has a NFC tag or NFC-enabled mobile smart phones in an accident. Using NFC, it is possible to help without physical contact to the patient unconscious to emergency incidents such as falling down in everyday life. In this paper, we design and implement an mobile emergency medical system that can deliver first aid information ask for help in case of emergency.
A Study on the Implementation of WBAN-Based Medical Gateway

The WBAN technology means a short distance wireless network which provides each device's interactive communication by connecting devices inside and outside of body located within 3 meters. It is necessary to develop core technology that the WBAN middleware and application service for WBAN sensor network. A device for gathering patient's biometric information was used zigbex of Hanbaek electronics and we designed the message structure which is collected the biometric information. The gateway design and implementation for the WBAN environment. The embedded system was HBE-empos II of Hanbaek electronics and the WBAN network is implemented to BNC and BN that used for hbe-ubi-zigbex. It was confirmed that the proposed sensor gateway could be used for the interconnection of the proposed system with other networks.

The core of existing IT industry has been multimedia contents based on internet network. But nowadays, ubiquitous technology which combines sensors and network technology is emerging and is called USN (ubiquitous sensor network). Health care industry is one of suitable areas for USN application. In this paper, sensor network for baby care is proposed. The proposed baby care system consists of bluetooth network to transfer information which comes from various sensors like falling detecting, crying and fever detecting sensor to keep infant's status safe from external-potential threats. The effectiveness of the implemented system is showed through demonstration.
