Flight Test of Stalling Speed for ChangGong-91

The stalling speed flight test of light airplane, ChangGong-91, was performed to acquire the certification. With power-off engine condition, the wings level stall flight tests were conducted at the aircraft configuration of various flap angle - clean, 20degree, and full flap, respectively. They were performed considering with the combination of the maximum and minimum test weight, and forward and afterward center of gravity. The stalling speeds and the minimum speeds of light airplane were determined from the results of flight test. Also, the appropriateness of stall warning speeds are evaluated through the flight test measures. The airplane is recoverable only with pitch control and engine throttle from stall state without exceptional operation.
Implementation of the small aircraft simulator with autopilot system using SIMULINK

In modern aircraft, an autopilot system is getting more important. There are not many autopilot systems applied to small aircraft. Also the autopilot system in large or medium aircraft is difficult to apply to small aircraft directly. It is necessary to make a new autopilot system for small aircraft. In this paper, we implement the small aircraft simulator with autopilot system using SIMULINK. The various modes of autopilot - such as altitude select/hold, attitude hold, heading hold, etc. - are implemented to the flight simulator and tested. We also implement the VOR mode for aircraft guidance.
Perceptions about Aviation Safety Management System in the Airline's Pilot and Aero Mechanic

At the choice of aviation company, safety appears as biggest variable than expenses, speed and comfort so these are concerned not only aviation companies but also countries and customers. Until now, ICAO has been making effort to reduce the flight accident through the safety advice of aviation part, establishment of standard, education, training and develop of navigation aids. Especially in 2008, they emphasize that the flight accident is reduced through researches and applications about SMS as safety regulation. Important primary factor to give influence about promotion of SMS is practice of organization and for this, to investigate recognition about safety management and culture of members. At point of this, this research analyze the recognition degree about how to manage safety and SMS for pilots an mechanics of Korea.
A Study on Validity Analysis about the Regional Airport Development

As the low-cost carriers of the region enters the air transportation market, the domestic air transport circumstance is to be changed and each local autonomous entity conducts the feasibility study to develop the regional airport. But the airport is developed almost all by the goal of the policy and actually the valid basis of the airport development is often weak. To present the validity of the regional airport development Using the pre-feasibility study method the government performs I apply it to the airport development project of the Seo-san region. To present the validity of the regional airport development this study carries out the pre-feasibility study by the AHP analysis.
The Relationship between Job Satisfaction and Burnout among Flight Attendants

This study examines hypotheses that job satisfaction and burnout are multidimensional constructs, that there is the distinctiveness between the, and that the relationship between them is negative. Questionnaires were collected from 344 flight attendants working for two airlines in Korea. From the structural equation modeling procedures, this research could verify all three hypotheses.
A Study on the Effect of Airline Pilot's Organizational Identification, Emotional Exhaustion and Perceived Justice on Tunrover Intention and Negative Word-of-Mouth

Recently industries have started to recognize the importance of word-of-mouth marketing and human resource management especially for airline industries who suffer from pilot shortage. Pilots are very important component of airline company and require a lot of money and time to assession, training and maintaining certified license validity. This study is to test the effect of airline pilot's organizational identification, emotional exhaustion and perceived justice on turnover intention and negative word-of-mouth on airline union pilots returned from the strike. This study used both literary method and empirical method. The researcher did literary study based on the previous study, designed the research model and hypothesis, did questionnaire survey to the Union member pilot from year 2005 strike for the subject of study to verify hypothesis and analysed empirically the finding using SPSS12.0 program. The major findings of this study may be summarized as follows, (1) organizational identification has a negative effect on turnover intention and negative word-of-mouth, (2) emotional exhaustion has a positive effect on turnover intention and negative word-of-mouth, (3) perceived justice has a negative effect on turnover intention and negative word-of-mouth.
The Economic Inducement Effects of Aviation Industry using Input-Output Model

This paper analyse the economic inducement effects of aviation industry using Input-Output Model. For measuring economic inducement effects of aviation industry on korean economy, this paper divides air transport industry as two - manufacturing industry and service industry. we also use Input-Output Table of year 1990 through 2003 from Bank of Korea. Empirical results tells that aviation manufacturing industry have high product inducement effects to national economy although its low value-added coefficient such as 0.486 for aviation manufacturing industry and 0.447 for aviation service industry. public R&D doesn't have much effect to each of aviation industries.
Preliminary Hazard Analysis for ADS-B equipped Aircraft

ICAO has recommended ADS-B implementation that is considered as next generation surveillance system to meet the air traffic capability and aviation safety. However, safety verification for the new ADS-B technology should be carried out in advance. FAA performed a preliminary hazard analysis for ADS-B equipped aircraft through Capstone program in Alaska in order to reduce aviation accidents. The present study deals with ADS-B concept, FAA Capstone program and PHA for ADS-B equipped aircraft. We expect that this paper will be a valuable material to assess ADS-B risk when it is applied to the domestic environment.
