A Preliminary Study on the Prediction of School Facilities Repair Frequency and Rate

This study is to present an engineering solution for the repair frequency and repair rates of a building. The existing data for the repair frequency and repair rates are used to draw the probability distribution for the generalized repair frequency and repair rate in a building. The suggested methodology can be widely used for most buildings to estimate the legal repair frequency and repair rates. Also, the methodology can be applied to resolve the risks on the maintenance costs in LC (Life Cycle) plans or LCC (Life Cycle Cost) analysis. As the future studies, there are the multiple regression analysis including the parameters on incurred costs and the decision methods on efficient repair and replacement.

The school is the educational and living space for students and teachers. And, the safety of the school facilities is very important element on the school activities. For this safety of school facilities, there is a need to prevent of safety-accident by the reinforcement of the systematic and the removal of risk factors. In order to minimize the damages from school facilities this study tried to suggest the solution for the prevention of safety accidents according to research about actual conditions of safety accidents from school facilities.
A Study on the Cultural Space for Socialization of Elementary School Students

Elementary school is the beginning step of personal relationships. However, the recent social phenomenon shows that the communication and intimate fellowship between the children are decreasing. This is due to the increase in Internet uses their parents' excessive protection caused by a low birthrate. School performs an important role in educating and socializing students. Students get intellectual and emotional satisfactions while they spend most of a day there. This research is aimed to understand cultural school environment for students, to help socializing and to improve the necessary cultural environment. Also, this research has guided to the understanding of the expanded socializtion, including improving school cultural environment for students and has presente the direction to improve the necessary cultural environment. The next was obtained from a survey of Elementary school students.

This study purposed realization and a phase reduction of school building
emissions. Accordingly selected standard school buildings and evaluated life cycle environmental load(
). This study proposed Green building technology which separated design sector, energy sector, afforestation sector for carbon-neutral city school buildings realization of M-city. As a result, elementary, middle and high schools of M-city built in the year 2013 were required that design sector was Energy Performance Index(EPI) 75 point and energy sector was solar installations more than 25% of the power usage, Solar systems installed more than 10% of total gas consumption and the area of afforesting more than 35% of the ecological area to achieve 30%
reduction compared to the Respectively standard school buildings.
