Repairing construction of registered cultural properties of Jollanamdo according to parts is shown numerously in the order of roof, walls and windows, and mostly outworn as time passes on and leakage were the main cause of repair. Also when original shape was damaged by previous repair in the past, and this was another reason of repairing. It was surveyed that among the repairing job repair of damage occurred on the part of roofing area including water leakage, corrosion and damage of roofing material, and damage of groove channel were the most main cause of repair. Especially when roof leakage is occurred by outworn of roofing materials, this cause corrosion and damage of materials due to the damage of leakage parts and this cause repeating cycles of worse leakage again and again. Main repairing materials which deform the original shape of registered cultural properties were confirmed as copper plate used on the roof. Copper plate showing high frequency of application which replaces groove slate or cement roofing tile used on the roof before has high durability and anti-corrosion but it is considered improper material to recover original shape.

Journal of the Korean Institute of Rural Architecture, volume 12, issue 4, 2010, Pages 21~28
As the issues such as safety, hygiene, convenience of school facility from the perspective of living environment for students and teachers arise as an important task in recent, there is increasing concern for resting convenience facility in school. In recent, the government is planning to change middle.high school into the departmental classroom system. The departmental classroom system refers to the school operation system in which the classroom is structured as a subject-specialized classroom and the students move to the classroom according to their class schedules. This departmental classroom system is advantageous in that each subject can be equipped with professional facilities or preparations; the usage rate of the classroom can be enhanced; the common study space or living space can be used substantially; the school can plan and operate its own specialized space. On the contrary, it has the weaknesses that there is need to prepare the home base for the guidance of the class or student guidance; there is need for the facilities including personal lockers. Thus, the departmental classroom system requires the space expansion for home base or the resting convenience space for students and thus has to provide various spaces. Under this background, it is also important to check and plan the resting space for the schools. Therefore, this study is aimed to examine and analyze the arrangement location and space Layout of the resting convenience space among school facilities to propose the architectural data for future resting/convenience spaces for the schools.

Journal of the Korean Institute of Rural Architecture, volume 12, issue 4, 2010, Pages 29~36
The purpose of this study is to have detailed data of the distribution, locations, and the amount of people in the waiting line of the nursing home. Also, we studied the accessibility to the facilities by using Web GIS to analyze the transit time it takes from the nursing home to health center and hospitals. We can provide the basic data that could contribute when future plans for the nursing homes' locations, health and medical policy are made. The results are as follows. 1. The nursing homes are stiffly concentrated in regions of Seoul and Gyeongi-do where large number of the elderly covered by long-term care insurance and the waiting line was very long for the elderlies to enter the nursing homes. In these cities of Ulsan and Jeju where number of the elderly covered by long-term care insurance is relatively small, there were less facilities. 2. The nursing homes located in urban areas had higher occupancy rate and higher number of people in the waiting line. 3. The average time taken by driving from the nursing homes and health center was 10 minutes and there was not a noticeable difference between the cities. Driving from the nursing homes to hospitals in rural areas took 22 minutes which is 2.5 times of the time taken for urban areas. Daegu-si and Incheon-si had relatively short distance from the nursing homes and the hospitals while Jeju-do had the furthest. For rural areas, it is needed for health center to be equipped with a wider medical coverage, have closely connected with hospitals to minimize the differences they have from ones in rural areas. It is also needed to have ambulances equipped for tele-medical examination and treatment system.
