THE PRODUCT OF MULTIPLICATION SUBMODULES
ATANI, SHAHABADDIN EBRAHIMI ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 1~8
Abstract
Let R be a commutative ring with non-zero identity. This paper is devoted to the study some of properties of the product of submodules of a multiplication module. Suppose N is a submodule of a multiplication R-module M. We give a condition which allows us to determine whether N is finitely generated when we assume some power of N is finitely generated.

OPERATIONS OF INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY IDEALS/FILTERS IN LATTICES
HUR, KUL ; JANG, SU YOUN ; JUN, YOUNG BAE ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 9~30
Abstract
The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy convex sublattices is introduced, and its characterization is given. Natural equivalence relations on the set of all intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters of a lattice are investigated. Operations on intuitionistic fuzzy sets of a lattice is introduced. Some results of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters under these operations are provided. Using these operations, characterizations of intuitionistic fuzzy ideals/filters are given.

Ω-BIFUZZY SUBSEMIGROUPS IN SEMIGROUPS
HUR, KUL ; JUN, YOUNG BAE ; KANG, HEE WON ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 31~41
Abstract
Given a set
, the notion of an
-bifuzzy subsemigroup in semigroups is given, and some properties are investigated. Homomorphic image and inverse image of an
-bifuzzy subsemigroup are considered.

Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 43~49
Abstract
Making use of a transparent way of convolution by tensor product of approximate identities we consider the cosine functional equation in several variables.

LEE, EUN HWI ; LEE, SANG WON ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 51~68
Abstract
In this paper we solve a generalized Popoviciu functional equation and investigate the stability of this equation.

Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 69~76
Abstract
The aim of this work is to generalize
-approximation in order to apply them to a discrete approximation. In
-approximation, we use the norm given by
where
a non-atomic positive measure. In this paper, we go to the other extreme and consider measure
which is purely atomic. In fact we shall assume that
has exactly m atoms. For any
-tuple
, we defined the
-norn, and consider
such that, for any

is called the Chebyshev center or a discrete simultaneous
-approximation from the finite dimensional subspace.

A NOTE ON STAR TOPOLOGICAL ALGEBRAS
ANSARI-PIRI, E. ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 77~82
Abstract
-algebras which are closed sub-algebras of Banach algebras have been studied many years ago. In this note we extend the main definition of
-algebras to metrizable topological algebras.

GENERALIZED T-SPACES AND DUALITY
YOON, YEON SOO ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 101~113
Abstract
We define and study a concept of
-space which is closely related to the generalized Gottlieb group. We know that X is a
-space if and only if there is a map
called a
-structure such that
. The concepts of
-spaces are preserved by retraction and product. We also introduce and study a dual concept of
-space.

ON THE SIMPLICIAL COMPLEX STEMMED FROM A DIGITAL GRAPH
HAN, SANG-EON ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 115~129
Abstract
In this paper, we give a digital graph-theoretical approach of the study of digital images with relation to a simplicial complex. Thus, a digital graph
with some k-adjacency in
can be recognized by the simplicial complex spanned by
. Moreover, we demonstrate that a graphically
-continuous map
can be converted into the simplicial map
with relation to combinatorial topology. Finally, if
is not
-homotopy equivalent to
, a graphically
-continuous map (respectively a graphically
-isomorphisim)
induces the group homomorphism (respectively the group isomorphisim)
in algebraic topology.

EIGHT-DIMENSIONAL EINSTEIN'S CONNECTION FOR THE SECOND CLASS II. THE EINSTEIN'S CONNECTION IN 8-g-UFT
HAN, SOO KYUNG ; HWANG, IN HO ; CHUNG, KYUNG TAE ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 1, 2005, Pages 131~140
Abstract
Lower dimensional cases of Einstein's connection were already investigated by many authors for n = 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. In the following series of two papers, we present a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor: I. The recurrence relations in 8-g-UFT II. The Einstein's connection in 8-g-UFT In our previous paper [1], we investigated some algebraic structure in Einstein's 8-dimensional unified field theory (i.e., 8-g-UFT), with emphasis on the derivation of the recurrence relations of the third kind which hold in 8-g-UFT. This paper is a direct continuation of [1]. The purpose of the present paper is to prove a necessary and sufficient condition for a unique Einstein's connection to exist in 8-g-UFT and to display a surveyable tensorial representation of 8-dimensional Einstein's connection in terms of the unified field tensor, employing the powerful recurrence relations of the third kind obtained in the first paper [1]. All considerations in this paper are restricted to the second class only of the generalized 8-dimensional Riemannian manifold
, since the case of the first class are done in [2], [3] and the case of the third class, the simplest case, was already studied by many authors.
