AHN, TAE-CHON ; HUR, KUL ; JANG, KYUNG-WON ; ROH, SEOK-BEOM ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 525~541
Abstract
We give the characterization of an intuitionistic fuzzy ideal[resp. intuitionistic fuzzy left ideal, an intuitionistic fuzzy right ideal and an intuitionistic fuzzy bi-ideal] generated by an intuitionistic fuzzy set in a semigroup without any condition. And we prove that every intuitionistic fuzzy ideal of a semigroup S is the union of a family of intuitionistic fuzzy principle ideals of S. Finally, we investigate the intuitionistic fuzzy ideal generated by an intuitionistic fuzzy set in

CANONICAL FORM OF AN TRANSITIVE INTUITIONISTIC FUZZY MATRICES
LEE, HONG-YOUL ; JEONG, NAE-GYEONG ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 543~550
Abstract
Some properties of a transitive fuzzy matrix are examined and the canonical form of the transitive fuzzy matrix is given using the properties. As a special case an open problem concerning idempotent matrices is solved. Thus we have the same result in a intuitionistic fuzzy matrix theory. In our results a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix play an important role. We decompose a transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix into sum of a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix. Then we obtain a canonical form of the transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix.

THE CHROMATIC NUMBER OF SOME PERMUTATION GRAPHS OVER SOME GRAPHS
LEE, JAEUN ; SHIN, YOUNG-HEE ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 551~559
Abstract
A permutation graph over a graph G is a generalization of both a graph bundle and a graph covering over G. In this paper, we characterize the F-permutation graphs over a graph whose chromatic numbers are 2. We determine the chromatic numbers of
-permutation graphs over a tree and the
-permutation graphs over a cycle.

AHN, SUN SHIN ; KIM, YOUNG HEE ; LEE, KYOUNG JA ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 561~570
Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the notion of positive implicative subtraction algebras and study some relations between R(L)-maps and positive implicativity in subtraction algebras.

TRILINEAR FORMS AND THE SPACE OF COMTRANS ALGEBRAS
IM, BOKHEE ; SMITH, JONATHAN D.H. ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 595~602
Abstract
Comtrans algebras are modules equipped with two trilinear operations: a left alternative commutator and a translator satisfying the Jacobi identity, the commutator and translator being connected by the so-called comtrans identity. These identities have analogues for trilinear forms. On a given vector space, the set of all comtrans algebra structures itself forms a vector space. In this paper, the dimension of the space of comtrans algebra structures on a finite-dimensional vector space is determined.

Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 603~608
Abstract
In 1999 and 2003, Padmanabham established two results (one each) for Exton's triple hypergeometric series
. We aim at showing that Exton's later result can be derived from his former one.

THE EXISTENCE OF M SOLUTIONS OF THE NONLINEAR ELLIPTIC EQUATION; USING THE VARIATIONAL METHOD
JUNG, TACKSUN ; CHOI, Q-HEUNG ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 609~619
Abstract
We are concerned with the multiplicity of solutions of the nonlinear elliptic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition. We reveal the existence of m solutions of the nonlinear elliptic equation by a critical point theory, under some condition.

THE STABILITY OF HILBERT SPACE FRAMELETS AND RIESZ FRAMES
LEE, JEONG-GON ; LEE, DONG-MYUNG ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 621~629
Abstract
We consider the stability of Hilbert space framelets and related Riesz frames. Our results are in spirit close to classical results for orthonormal bases, due to Mazur and Schauder.

ISOMETRIES ON THE SPACE OF CONTINUOUS FUNCTIONS WITH FINITE CODIMENSIONAL RANGE
HEDAYATIAN, K. ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 631~639
Abstract
For compact Hausdorff spaces X and Y let C(X) and C(Y) denote the complex Banach spaces of complex valued continuous functions on X and Y, respectively. Also let
be a linear isomerty. Necessary and sufficient conditions are given such that range of T has finite codimension.

Abstract
Given operators X and Y acting on a separable complex Hilbert space
, an interpolating operator is a bounded operator A such that AX = Y. We show the following: Let

ON A RIGIDITY OF HARMONIC DIFFEOMORPHISM BETWEEN TWO RIEMANN SURFACES
KIM, TAESOON ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 655~663
Abstract
One of the basic questions concerning harmonic map is on the existence of harmonic maps satisfying a certain condition. Rigidity of a certain harmonic map can be considered as an answer for this kinds of questions. In this article, we study a rigidity property of harmonic diffeomorphisms under the condition that the inverse map is also harmonic. We show that every such a harmonic diffeomorphism is totally geodesic or conformal in two dimensional case.

REGULARITY CRITERIA FOR TERNARY INTERPOLATORY SUBDIVISION
JEON, MYUNGJIN ; CHOI, GUNDON ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 27, issue 4, 2005, Pages 665~672
Abstract
By its simplicity and efficiency, subdivision is a widely used technique in computer graphics, computer aided design and data compression. In this paper we prove a regularity theorem for ternary interpolatory subdivision scheme that can be applied to non-stationary subdivision. This theorem converts the convergence of the limit curve of a ternary interpolatory subdivision to the analysis of the rate of the contraction of differences of the polygons.
