APPLICATION OF THE OPERATOR H (α, β) TO THE SARAN FUNCTION F
_{E}
AND SOME OTHER RESULTS
Choi, June-Sang ; Kim, Yong-Sup ; Hasanov, Anvar ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 441~452
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.441
Abstract
The enormous success of the theory of hypergeometric series in a single variable has stimulated the development of a corresponding theory in two and more variables. A wide variety of investigations in the theory of several variable hypergeometric functions have been essentially motivated by the fact that solutions of many applied problems involving partial differential equations are obtainable with the help of such hypergeometric functions. Here, in this trend, we aim at presenting further decomposition formulas for Saran function
, which are used to give some integral representations of the function
. We also present a system of partial differential equations for the Saran function
.

THE LATTICE OF ORDINARY SMOOTH TOPOLOGIES
Cheong, Min-Seok ; Chae, Gab-Byung ; Hur, Kul ; Kim, Sang-Mok ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 453~465
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.453
Abstract
Lim et al. [5] introduce the notion of ordinary smooth topologies by considering the gradation of openness[resp. closedness] of ordinary subsets of X. In this paper, we study a collection of all ordinary smooth topologies on X, say OST(X), in the sense of a lattice. And we prove that OST(X) is a complete lattice.

α-SCALAR CURVATURE OF THE t-MANIFOLD
Cho, Bong-Sik ; Jung, Sun-Young ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 487~493
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.487
Abstract
The Fisher information matrix plays a significant role in statistical inference in connection with estimation and properties of variance of estimators. In this paper, we define the parameter space of the t-manifold using its Fisher's matrix and characterize the t-manifold from the viewpoint of information geometry. The
-scalar curvatures to the t-manifold are calculated.

Kang, Hee-Won ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 499~518
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.499
Abstract
We obtain the interval-valued fuzzy subgroups generated by interval-valued fuzzy sets and some properties preserved by a ring homomorphism. Furthermore, we introduce the concepts of interval-valued fuzzy coset and study some of it's properties.

Dolgy, D.V. ; Kim, T. ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 519~527
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.519
Abstract
Recently, the modified q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials with weight
are introduced in [3]: In this paper we give some interesting p-adic integral representation on
of the weighted q-Bernstein polynomials related to the modified q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials with weight
. From those integral representation on
of the weighted q-Bernstein polynomials, we can derive some identities on the modified q-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials with weight
.

DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.529
Abstract
In this paper, we consider the q-analogues of Euler numbers and polynomials using the fermionic p-adic invariant integral on

Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 535~546
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.535
Abstract
Using
-structures, the notion of an
-ideal in a prelogic is introduced. Characterizations of an
-ideal are discussed. Conditions for an
-structure to be an

Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 547~556
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.547
Abstract

Park, Joon-Sik ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 557~573
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.557
Abstract
Let G be a compact and connected semisimple Lie group, H a closed subgroup, g (resp. h) the Lie algebra of G (resp. H), B the Killing form of g, g the normal metric on the homogeneous space G/H which is induced by -B. Let D be an invarint connection with Weyl structure (D, g,
) in the tangent bundle over the normal homogeneous Riemannian manifold (G/H, g) which is projectively flat. Then, the affine connection D on (G/H, g) is a Yang-Mills connection if and only if D is the Levi-Civita connection on (G/H, g).

CLASSIFICATION OF SPACES IN TERMS OF BOTH A DIGITIZATION AND A MARCUS WYSE TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURE
Han, Sang-Eon ; Chun, Woo-Jik ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 575~589
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.575
Abstract
In order to examine the possibility of some topological structures into the fields of network science, telecommunications related to the future internet and a digitization, the paper studies the Marcus Wyse topological structure. Further, this paper develops the notions of lattice based Marcus Wyse continuity and lattice based Marcus Wyse homeomorphism which can be used for studying spaces
in the Marcus Wyse topological approach. By using these two notions, we can study and classify lattice based simple closed Marcus Wyse curves.

Abstract

ARRANGEMENT OF ELEMENTS OF LOCALLY FINITE TOPOLOGICAL SPACES UP TO AN ALF-HOMEOMORPHISM
Han, Sang-Eon ; Chun, Woo-Jik ;
Honam Mathematical Journal, volume 33, issue 4, 2011, Pages 617~628
DOI : 10.5831/HMJ.2011.33.4.617
Abstract
In relation to the classification of finite topological spaces the paper [17] studied various properties of finite topological spaces. Indeed, the study of future internet system can be very related to that of locally finite topological spaces with some order structures such as preorder, partial order, pretopology, Alexandroff topological structure and so forth. The paper generalizes the results from [17] so that the paper can enlarge topological and homotopic properties suggested in the category of finite topological spaces into those in the category of locally finite topological spaces including ALF spaces.
