Calculation of Construction Cost Rate to Telecommunications Engineering Service

This paper shows the calculation system of construction cost rate to telecommunications engineering service that is based on the tenth article of the Engineering Technique Promotion Law. The existing construction cost rate had been calculated using the experiential statistics or quoted the foreign construction cost rates. This paper apply the theoretical method to calculate the construction cost rate instead of the existing method. To calculate it more reasonably, this paper apply the characteristic own of the current construction cost rate. The result of this paper can be introduced to calculate the construction cost rate for the telecommunication engineering service.

This paper proposes an international trend and its implementation for an E-Navigation that can utilize of existing and new navigation tools, in particular electronic tools, in a holistic and systematic manner. IMO develops a broad strategy for incorporating the use of new technologies in a structured way to ensure that their use is compliant with the various electronic navigational and communication technologies and services that are already available. Implementation of this new strategic vision might require modifications to working methods and navigational tools, such as chats, bridge display equipment, electronic aids to navigation, communications and shore infrastructure. E-Navigation will reduce navigational accidents errors and failures by developing standards an accurate and cost effective system.
Check of Concurrency in Parallel Programs using Image Information

A parallel program including a nested parallelism has a complex execution aspects and tasks are executed concurrently. This concurrency is a main cause raising most of errors. In this paper, a new method for checking concurrency between two tasks is proposed. The existing techniques for checking the concurrency have their limits to represent a global structure. A new labeling technique that appropriate for image visualization is proposed. To show the global structure by imaging of execution aspects through region partition on 2D plane. On the basis of it, each of the tasks that can distinguish the ordered relation create an independent image. Image information generated by the result simplifies semantic analysis of the related task, and provides an outline of a global execution aspects structure of the program to user effectively.
A Package Design for RSS Reader Systems

The RSS Reader is a software application that assist users easily to read and collect contents which are frequently changeable syndicated contents of RSS format that published on the web. This paper presents a formula software design based on RUP object-oriented design method for implementing the RSS Reader. We extract a use case based on requirements for implement of the RSS Reader and propose a domain concept model by. Using above artifacts, we extract event to generate between users and, the RSS Reader and logical architecture. So, we design classes and packages of the RSS Reader. As proposed a formula software design about the RSS Reader in early stage, it can make the RSS Reader with a variety of characters easily based on these.
A Broadband FIR Beamformer for Underwater Acoustic Communications

Beamforming for underwater acoustic communication (UAC) is affected by the broadband feature of UAC signal, which has relatively low currier frequency as compared to the signal bandwidth. The narrow-band assumption does not hold good in UAC. In this paper, we discuss a broadband FIR beamformer for UAC using the baseband equivalent way signal model. We consider the broadband FIR beamformer for QPSK UAC with carrier frequency 25kHz and symbol rate 5kHz. Array geometry is a uniform linear way with 8 omni-directional elements and sensor spacing is the half of the carrier wavelength. The simulation results show that the broadband n beamformer achieves nearly optimum signal to interference and noise ratio (SINR) and outperforms the conventional narrowband beamformer by SINR 0.5dB when two-tap FIR filter is employed at each sensor and the inter-tap delay is a quarter of the symbol interval. The broadband FIR beamformer performance is more degraded as the FIR filter length is increased above a certain value. If the inter-tap delay is not greater than half of the symbol period, SINR performance does not depend on the inter-tap delay. More training period is required when the inter-tap delay is same as the symbol period.
Performance Analysis of GCRA Policing Algorithm for Constant-Bit Rate Service

In implementing GCRA, well known as the representative user traffic policing algorithm for constant-bit rate service, it is essential to set proper values for delay variation tolerance in order to prevent network overload and excessive user data loss due to delay variation incurred inevitably during transmission process. In this paper, we investigate the performance of GCRA algorithm for various values of delay variation tolerance and suggest a guideline for setting proper delay variation tolerance values.
QoS-enabled Next Generation Local Area Network for IP-based Convergence Services

This paper presents a quality-of-service-enabled next generation local area network architecture which can provide efficiently convergence services over the Internet protocol. The basic concept of the architecture is to combine such three principle technologies as programmable switched network quality-of-service resource management and Internet protocol based network convergence. We discuss system entities and technologies development, which constitute the proposed network. The architecture of the network is then described. Implementation of systems verifies the proposed technologies. The network as a next generation local area network can provide quality-of-service-enabled real-time communication services as well as existing data traffic, and the open programmable interface can facilitates to adopt cost-effectively emerging new services or functionalities.
A Fast Booting Scheme of Linux for Embedded System

Linux has peculiarities of safety, flexibility, and open source. and Linux supports various hardware platforms. But because general Linux was designed for high performance H/W, Linux has several points to support for embedded system with limited resource. Specially, a main point is booting time that is spent to tens of second. In this paper, we purpose a fast booting scheme of Linux for Embedded System and estimate a performance of scheme purposed through realized prototype. Specially, to reduce booting time in environment of embedded system, we optimize boot loader, kernel and root file system. As a result, boot time reduce 28 second to 11 second in HBE-EMPOS II.
A RTL Binding Technique for CPLD constraint

In this paper, a RTL binding technique for CPLD constraint is proposed. Allocation processing selected module consider the module calculation after scheduling process for circuit by HDL. Select CPLD for constrain after allocation. A Boolean equation is partitioned for CLB by allocated modules. The proposed binding algorithm is description using optimum CLB within a CPLD. The proposed algorithm is examined by using 16 bit FIR filter. In the case that applicate the algorithm, the experiments results show reduction in used CLB.
Construction of the Multiple Processing Unit by De Bruijn Graph

This paper presents a method of constructing the universal multiple processing element unit(UMPEU) by De Bruijn Graph. The second method is as following. First, we propose transformation operators in order to construct the De Bruijn UMPEU using properties of graph. Second, we construct the transformation table of De Bruijn graph using above transformation operators. Finally we construct the De Bruijn graph using transformation table. The proposed UMPEU be able to construct the De Bruijn graph for any prime number and integer value of finite fields. Also the UMPEU is applied to fault-tolerant computing system, pipeline class. parallel processing network, switching function and its circuits.
New Mobile Terminated Protocol for User Privacy Protection in Mobile Communication Environments

In related to mobile communication environment. Kesdogan and Pfitzmann[1,2,3] proposed solutions using temporary pseudonym identification, called TP(Temporary Pseudonym) to solve the problems concerning current locations of mobile users and exposure of their movements in the privacy aspect. After that, we proposed more improved method protecting mobile users from active attacks of network providers in . But it is the case that mobile users are located in only home domain. As a more extended method. we propose new mobile terminated protocol protecting user privacy in case of moving from the home domain to the remote domain and analyze its security.
Design and Implementation of Buffer Cache for EXT3NS File System

EXT3NS is a special-purpose file system for large scale multimedia streaming servers. It is built on top of streaming acceleration hardware device called Network-Storage card. The EXT3NS file system significantly improves streaming performance by eliminating memory-to-memory copy operations, i.e. sending video/audio from disk directly to network interface with no main memory buffering. In this paper, we design and implement a buffer cache mechanism, called PMEMCACHE, for EXT3NS file system. We also propose a buffer cache replacement method called ONS for the buffer cache mechanism. The ONS algorithm outperforms other existing buffer replacement algorithms in distributed multimedia streaming environment. In EXT3NS with PMEMCACHE, operation is 33MB/sec and random read operation is 2.4MB/sec. Also, the buffer replacement ONS algorithm shows better performance by 600KB/sec than other buffer cache replacement policies. As a result PMEMCACHE and an ONS can greatly improve the performance of multimedia steaming server which should supportmultiple client requests at the same time.
Design of Retrieval System based on XMDR for Data Interoperability in a Web Environment

Recently enterprises introduce EAI systems and legacy business which already obtained for data integration among legacy systems. EAI systems in cooperative transaction environment can be expected efficient retrieval as sharing and integrating. However existing legacy systems have to introduce particular EAI solution because it is difficult to adjust standard technology to EAI due to be managed independently without considering interoperability. For solving these problems we use metadata registry using data integration. Various types, semantic specification data heterogeneity and heterogeneity of systems, however, are occurred. Therefore retrieval system based on XMDR(extended Meta-Data Registry) for data interoperability in the web environment are proposed in this paper.
An Optimal Path Search Method based on Traffic Information for Telematics Terminals

Optimal path search algorithm which is a killer application of mobile device to utilize location information should consider traffic flows of the roads as well as the distance between a departure and destination. The existing path search algorithms, however, are net able to cope efficiently with the change of the traffic flows. In this paper, we propose a new optimal path search algorithm. The algorithm takes the current flows into consideration in order to reduce the cost to get destination. It decomposes the road network into Fixed Grid to get variable heuristics. We also carry out the experiments with Dijkstra and Ar algorithm in terms of the execution time, the number of node accesses and the accuracy of path. The results obtained from the experimental tests show the proposed algorithm outperforms the others. The algorithm is highly expected to be useful in a advanced telematics systems.
A Method of Clustering for SCOs in the SCORM

A SCO is a learning resource that is retrieved by a learner in the SCORM. A storage policy is required a learner to search SCOs rapidly in e-learning environment. In this paper, We define the mathematical formulation of clustering method for SCOs. Also we present criteria for cluster evaluation and describe procedure to evaluate each SCO. We show the search based on proposed clustering method increase performance than the existing search though performance evaluation.
An XML-based Wrapper System for Integrating Web Information Sources

It became important to develop a wrapper for web information sources due to prevalence of information services through web information sources. We present a wrapper prototype that is a middleware to integrate web information sources. We present the derivation strategy of XML Schema from HTML documents and the query processing method based on XQJ. The usage example of wrapper API will show the usefulness of our prototype system.
Influence on Meridians Electric Potential for Electrical Ground and Insulation

When a patient is positioned at insulated bed and practitioner is positioned at insulated floor, that condition could be a cause of lessening effect in acupuncture practice. We investigated how Ground connection and Insulation could influence on the electrical meridian potential between practitioner and patient during acupuncture practice. We treated 30 normal healthy subjects with acupuncture and measured changes in the electrical potential between the stomach meridian points ST-39 and ST-37 in response to light touch after insertion of a needle at ST-36. At first, we stimulated non-insulated needle and measured electrical potentials for non ground, patient ground only, practitioner ground only, all ground respectively. Moisture Induced Hump Characteristics of Shallow Trench-Isolated nMOSFET

In this parer, hump characteristics of short-channel nMOSFETs induced by moistures of the ILD(inter-layer dielectric) layer in the shallow trench isolation (STI) process are investigated and the method for hump suppression is proposed Using nMOSFETs with various types of the gate and a measurement of TDS-APIMS (Thermal Desorption System-Atmospheric Pressure ionization Mass Spectrometry), hump characteristics were systematically analyzed and the systemic analysis based hump model was presented; the ILD layer over poly-Si gate of nMOSFET generates moistures, but they can't diffuse out of the SiN layer due to the upper SiN layer. Consequently, they diffuses into the edge between the gate and STI and induces short-channel hump. In order to eliminate moisture in the ILD layer by out-gassing method, the annealing process prior to the deposition of the SiN layer was carried out. As the result, short-channel humps of the nMOSFETs were successfully suppressed.
Design and Comparison of the Fast-Hopping Frequency Synthesizers for MB-OFDM UWB Systems

This paper describes fast-hewing frequency synthesizers for multi-band OFDM(MB-OFDM) ultra-wide band(UWB) systems. Three different structures in generating 3 center frequencies(3432MHz, 3960MHz, 4488MHz) are designed and compared. The first structure generates 3 center frequencies using only one PLL operating at 4224MHz, and the second uses three PLLs operating at corresponding center frequencies. The proposed third structure employes two PLLs operating at 3960MHz and 528MHz. Simulation results using 0.18um RF CMOS process parameters show that the third structure exhibits boner characteristics in spur, area and current consumption than the other structures. The band switching time of the proposed synthesizer is less than 1.In and the spur is less than -36dBc. The synthesizer consumes 22mA from a 1.8V supply.
Image Restoration Using Partial Differential Equation

This paper is concerned with simulation issues arising in the PDE-based image restoration such as the total variation minimization(TVM) and its generalizations. In particular, we study the issues of staircasing and excessive dissipation of TVM-like smoothing operators. A strategy of scaling the algebraic system and a non-convex minimization are considered respectively for anti-staircasing and anti-diffusion. Furthermore, we introduce a variable constraint parameter to better preserve image edges. The resulting algorithm has been numerically verified to be efficient and reliable in denoising. Various numerical results are shown to confirm the claim.
The Algorithm Design and Implement of Microarray Data Classification using the Byesian Method

As development in technology of bioinformatics recently makes it possible to operate micro-level experiments, we can observe the expression pattern of total genome through on chip and analyze the interactions of thousands of genes at the same time. Thus, DNA microarray technology presents the new directions of understandings for complex organisms. Therefore, it is required how to analyze the enormous gene information obtained through this technology effectively. In this thesis, We used sample data of bioinformatics core group in harvard university. It designed and implemented system that evaluate accuracy after dividing in class of two using Bayesian algorithm, ASA, of feature extraction method through normalization process, reducing or removing of noise that occupy by various factor in microarray experiment. It was represented accuracy of 98.23% after Lowess normalization.
Experimental Analyses and Heterodyne Method for Millimeter Wave Signal Generation

In this paper, We have proposed an Heterodyne technique to generate millimeter-wave signal. Microwave signals in cellular broadband mobile communication networks and distributed networks can favorably be generated and distributed by optical techniques. In principle, these techniques have already been investigated for optical control of phase-array antennas, characterization of photo-detector and phase locking of millimeter-wave oscillators and now being applied to wireless communications. The generation and transmission of millimeter-wave radio signals by optical means is of interest for future pico-cell broadband mobile communication system, especially for systems operating at frequencies of 300GHz.

In this paper, we propose a development technique of high precision laser finder ranger within instrument distance 1km, instrument error less than 1 m by using pulse time of flight method in the 5m unit instrument and heterodyne method in the within Am unit. These propose methods can be more advanced to measurement velocity and more highly precision distance instrument not affected the strength of light. We also validate this usefulness.
Implementation of Wave Digital Filters Based on Multiprocessor Architecture

The round off noise properties of wave digital filters have known and desirable properties in respect to their realization with short coefficient wordlengths. This paper presents the optimal implementation of wave digital filters by employing multiprocessor archtectures in the sense of input sampling rate, the number of processors, and input-output delay. The implementation will be specified by complete circuit diagrams including control signals, and can be applied to an existing silicon complier for VLSI layout generation.
Applying the AHP approach to evaluate Mobile Commerce Environment

Internet Technology allowed general commerce to have proceeded actively, and now it is sharply evolving into Mobile Commerce. Mobile Commerce came into an inheritance of the Electronic Commerce, thought the feature to be different form is various as well. Many researches that analyzed the feature of Electronic Commerce were carried out but those were processed according to its location and field only. This study extracted and analyzed the factor that considered the several positions for Mobile Commerce so that it can reflect diverse the demands from those related to Mobile Commerce. It sought the new characteristic which is different from the Electronic Commerce, and took account of the successful factor for Mobile Commerce which includes the position in a user, a developer and an operator. In addition AHP (Analytics Hierarchy Process) was used in order to evaluate the subject characteristic applied to each related to through more objective methods. The analysis results identified in this study such as the quality trust and understandability for an information duality might be the one of the chief elements of success in Mobile Commerce which applies at the present.
Real-Time Rate Control with Token Bucket for Low Bit Rate Video

A real-time frame-layer rate control algorithm with a token bucket traffic shaper is proposed for low bit rate video coding. The proposed rate control method uses a non-iterative optimization method for low computational complexity, and performs bit allocation at the frame level to minimize the average distortion over an entire sequence as well as variations in distortion between frames. In order to reduce the quality fluctuation, we use a sliding window scheme which does not require the pre-analysis process. Therefore, the proposed algorithm does not produce time delay from encoding, and is suitable for real-time low-complexity video encoder. Experimental results indicate that the proposed control method provides better visual and PSNR performances than the existing rate control method.
A VoIP System for Secure Support in Next Generation Networks based on SIP

Today, SIP standard (The signalling protocol for the Internet phone service) raises to be the standard technique because the expandability is high and complexity is low. It is widely investigated and actively advocated to use Si81a1 ring protocol for SIP in VoIP service. SIP service can be applied even outside the Internet phone service; instance messaging and various multimedia technology are just an example. This paper proposed an embodiment proxy server for rambling support to use JAIN SIP API. It provides standard interface for testing the Proxy server for SIP and embodiment of user agent that transfer instant massaging and voice communication.
Fragment Combination From DNA Sequence Data Using Fuzzy Reasoning Method

In this paper, we proposed a method complementing failure of combining DNA fragments, defect of conventional contig assembly programs. In the proposed method, very long DNA sequence data are made into a prototype of fragment of about 700 bases that can be analyzed by automatic sequence analyzer at one time, and then matching ratio is calculated by comparing a standard prototype with 3 fragmented clones of about 700 bases generated by the PCR method. In this process, the time for calculation of matching ratio is reduced by Compute Agreement algorithm. Two candidates of combined fragments of every prototype are extracted by the degree of overlapping of calculated fragment pairs, and then degree of combination is decided using a fuzzy reasoning method that utilizes the matching ratios of each extracted fragment, and A, C, G, T membership degrees of each DNA sequence, and previous frequencies of each A, C, G, T. In this paper. DNA sequence combination is completed by the iteration of the process to combine decided optimal test fragments until no fragment remains. For the experiments, fragments or about 700 bases were generated from each sequence of 10,000 bases and 100,000 bases extracted from 'PCC6803', complete protein genome. From the experiments by applying random notations on these fragments, we could see that the proposed method was faster than FAP program, and combination failure, defect of conventional contig assembly programs, did not occur.
Document Clustering Methods using Hierarchy of Document Contents

The current web is accumulating abundant information. In particular, text based documents are a type used very easily and frequently by human. So, numerous researches are progressed to retrieve the text documents using many methods, such as probability, statistics, vector similarity, Bayesian, and so on. These researches however, could not consider both subject and semantic of documents. So, to overcome the previous problems, we propose the document similarity method for semantic retrieval of document users want. This is the core method of document clustering. This method firstly, expresses a hierarchy semantically of document content ut gives the important hierarchy domain of document to weight. With this, we could measure the similarity between documents using both the domain weight and concepts coincidence in the domain hierarchies.
Enhanced Image Magnification Using Edge Information

Image magnification is among the basic image processing operations. The most commonly used technique for image magnification are based on interpolation method(such as nearest neighbor, bilinear and cubic interpolation). However, the magnified images produced by the techniques that often appear a variety of undesirable image artifacts such as 'blocking' and 'blurring' or too takes the processing time into the several processing for image magnification. In this paper, we propose image magnification method which uses input image's sub-band information such as edge information to enhance the image magnification method. We use the whole image and not use the one's neighborhood pixels to detect the edge information of the image that isn't occurred the blocking phenomenon. And then we emphasized edge information to remove the blurring phenomenon which incited of edge information. Our method, which improves the performance of the traditional image magnification methods in the processing time, is presented. Experiment results show that the proposed method solves the drawbacks of the image magnification such as blocking and blurring phenomenon, and has a higher PSNR and Correlation than the traditional methods.
A Development of Wrist type Monitoring System for Smart Home Healthcare

Due to technological developments and the joint effect of both new social and economic needs and constraints, telemedicine is expanding rapidly through a variety of applications. Especially, owing to the rapid aging of society and increasing the wish for well being life, we take interest in health care services for people with special needs who wish to remain independent and living in their own home. We have focused on tole-monitoring to real-time medical signal and environment factor which is an influence on medical signal. We monitor the six signal(medical signal and environment factor), and transmit that signal to computer on bluetooth network. We get the information after using the some digital signal processing system, and display that information on the real-time monitoring system. We developed the measurer as portable type in older to non-restrained monitor.
