A Frequency-Sharing Method to Use Frequency Resources Efficiently

Recently many short-range transceiver systems, such as ZigBee, Bluetooth and RFID(Radio Frequency Identification), have been developed. These systems are mostly low-power transceivers. In the near future many more low-power transceivers are appeared for WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network) and interference mitigation technologies are necessary to the low-power transceivers for using frequency resources efficiently. In this paper we consider two methods for sharing frequency resources. The first case is that a frequency band previously assigned fer a certain system is shared and the second case is that the white frequency band is shared. We study the method and conditions for sharing frequency resources in the above two cases. When a frequency band is shared with ZigBee, RFID, DCP (Digital Cordless Phone) and Bluetooth as an example for the first case, the sharing conditions are investigated and the results are presented. We propose a balancing factor to maintain an equal transmitting conditions between systems having a different interference mitigation technique. In the interference simulation we use FH(Frequency Hopping) as a reference system and 0.9 of a balancing factor for LBT(Listen Before Talk) and 0.8 for DS(Direct Spreading). From the simulation results we know that a balancing factor reduces interference probability therefore many more systems can be operated in the same frequency bands compared with the case without using a balancing factor.
Novel Auto White Balance Algorithm Using Adaptive Color Sampling Based on

In this paper. we propose a novel auto white balance algorithm which is one of the representative functions on cameras. White balance is the process of removing unrealistic color casts, which will make the captured white objects appear white. For white balance, we employ
color space which is the most complete color model available and is conventionally used to describe all the colors visible to the human eye and estimate the color difference on white objects with distribution of the image which is called the reference white estimation. For accuracy, we form groups or sets of pixels that are altered by the light sources and other elements. Moreover, Standard group is decided by judgment of specific-case images with the information of groups. Then, the reference white estimation is performed by the color sampling which is to choose all the accumulated pixels contained within the standard group. The color gain for image compensation by considering the color saturation is also computed. the proposed algorithm provides a significant performance.
Development and Application of Automatic Motion Generator for Game Characters

As game and character animation industries are growing, techniques for reproducing realistic character behaviors have been required in various fields. Therefore, intensive researches have been performed in order to find various methods for realistic character animation. The most common approaches to character animation involves tedious user input method, simulation with physical laws based on dynamics, and measurement of actors' behaviors with input devices such as motion capture system. These approaches have their own advantages, but they all have common disadvantage in character control. In order to provide users with convenient control, the realistic animation must be generated with high-level parameters, and the modification should also be made with high-level parameters. In this paper we propose techniques for developing an automated character animation tool which operates with high-level parameters, and introduce techniques for developing actual games by utilizing this tool.

Recently years There are numerous music contents on the internet and it can easily be used without any authority. because of this, casualties of music contents has been increased and music market has collapsed. Therefore Record Copyright Association protection law has revised and using music contents are being managed by copyright holders group from this year. It is one of ways to protect their contents copyright. So on this paper Internet Radio solution is provided to solve the problem between copyright holders and someone wants to use their contents and to make a part of new market on the music contents.
Mesh Parameterization based on Mean Value Coordinates

Parameterization of a 3D triangular mesh is a fundamental problem in various applications of geometric modeling and computer graphics. There are two major paradigms in mesh parameterization: energy functional minimization and the convex combination approach. In general, the convex combination approach is wifely used because of simple concept and one-to-one mapping. However, the approach has some problems such as high distortion near the boundary and time complexity. Moreover, the stability of the linear system may not be preserved according to the geometric information of the mesh. In this paper, we present an extension of the convex combination approach based on the mean value coordinates, which resolves the drawbacks of the convex combination approach. This may be a more practical solution because it is able to generate a stable linear system in a short time
An Dynamic Congestion Window Tuning Algorithm for TCP Performance Improvement in Wireless Ad-hoc Network

The TCP protocol is originally designed for wired network, however it performs very poor in wireless network due to different nature of wireless network from wired networks. In terms of TCP performance improvement in wireless Ad-hoc network, many researches show that small congestion window size of TCP connection can improve TCP performance. We propose a new TCP algorithm to improve TCP performance in wireless Ad-hoc network. The basic idea of our approach is that TCP receiver estimates the optimum window size and then sets congestion window limit of TCP sender to an optimum value by using the advertised window field in TCP ACK packet. From extensive computer simulation, the proposed algorithm shows superior performance than traditional TCP protocols in terms of packet delivery ratio and packet loss.
Performance Analysis of Mobile node based on SCTP in MIPv6

In recent yeats, SCTP is known as the next transport layer protocol for connection-oriented and reliable data transfer after TCP/UDP. The SCTP was developed on the basis of the existing TCP and was designed to eliminate defects of TCP. SCTP has the different characteristic of multi-streaming and multi-homing from TCP. In this paper, we studied the defects of the performance of communication using the traits of multi-homing. And we evaluated the efficiency for each application services on the basis of SCTP of IPv6. Also, we analysed the delay time of a packet using SCTP and TCP. We noticed that the efficiency of SCTP is better than that of TCP.
An Implementation of Wireless Monitoring System for Health Care

Recently, a health care need according to the increase of an advanced age population is increasing. The requirement about a health care monitoring is increasing rapidly from general people as well as patient. The requisition about a medical treatment technique and a medical treatment information service is the trend to be expanding. That can be possible minimizing the inconvenience of the patient to take a medical service and continuously monitoring the status of the patient to take a health care service. This paper discusses an implementation of wireless physiological signal monitoring system for health care. The system are composed of the sensor node and monitoring program. The sensor node has the physiological signal measurement part and the wireless communication part. The remote monitoring system has a monitoring program that are communicating the sensor node using bluetooth. The sensor node measured the ECG, pulse wave, blood pressure, SpO2, and heart rate.
A Study on Optimum of IPTV Video Quality by Routing Protocols in Next Generation IP Network

In this paper, we suggest a routing protocol standard in which we can service best quality of image using PSNR which is most commonly used as a measure of quality of reconstruction in image on IPv6 network

In this paper, we investigate various Audio Transmission Systems to implement Audio Transmission System based on AoIP of Internet transmission technology TCP/IP Network and we design and implement a Audio transmission system based on AoIP by adopting the most efficient one. The implemented system can be applied for various professional audio systems with large-scale audio distribution network as well as small-scale PA systems. Moreover, this can be applied in various fields which need audio transmission.
Access delay and packet delay of EDCA in IEEE 802.11e wireless network

This paper derives medium access delay of each AC(Access Category) in a stationary station using inter-departure time of IEEE 802.11e WLAN(Wireless LAN). Inter-departure time of IEEE 802.11e WLAN is obtained using saturation throughput of IEEE 802.11e WLAN which was the topic of our prior work. By using a simple queueing model, we evaluate mean queue length and mean delay for each AC on stationary condition. We calculate performance of each AC using this simple model and validate results using simulation.
A Hierarchical Multicast for Dynamic Adaptation to Network Congestion Status

There is SARLM scheme for dynamic adaptation to network congestion status which arises from multicast applications. However, in this scheme, when congestion occurs in a local, the waste of available bandwidth occurs in non-congestion local because of reducing of transmission rate in congestion local. In this paper, we propose a hierarchical multicast for dynamic adaptation to network congestion. In proposed scheme, we select a representative in each local. while congestion status. It receives packet from multicast sender and hierarchically transmits packet to the representative in congestion status by unicast for preventing decrease of transmission rate and the representative in congestion local transmits packet to the receivers in local by multicast. In experimental results, it was known that the proposed scheme could improve transmission rate of receivers in congestion status and more efficiently used available bandwidth.
Traffic Performance Analysis using Asymmetry Wireless Link Network in Transmission Rate Controlled Channels

Performance of TCP/IP is studied on the wireless network using flow control and congestion control mechanism based on transmission rate. We discuss the elimination or the reduction of various phenomena of burst by flow controlling on transmission rate and verify that there are TCP ACK compression promblems on the queue by burst reaction while executing transmission rate controlled channels. Analyzing periodic burst reaction on the queue of source IP, the maximum value of queue is expected, which represents the applible expectation of throughput reduce and shows the improvement of performance by the reduce of throughput due to hi-directional traffic.
XML Signature System on Mobile Environment

It is possible to transfer huge data in mobile device by advancing mobile technology, and so in this base, various services are offered. Especially, E-commerce service is offering on mobile environment, and this service is based on XML(eXtensible Markup Language) Signature. XML Signature assure that process integrity, message authentication, and/or signer authentication. And WIPI(Wireless Internet Protocol for Interoperability) that is mobile internet integration platform was proposed to integrate mobile device platform. However, because WIPI transmits and exchanges message by tort of XML base, encryption of XML document and necessity of XML signature are increasing because of weakness of security. Therefor in this paper, Encryption and XML signature module of XML document that satisfy standard requirement in WIPI platform base design and implementation. System that was proposed in this paper used standard encryption and XML signature algorithm and supports safe encryption and XML signature through doing security simulation applied various algorithm for XML document of mobile environment
The Design of the Shared Memory in the Dual Core System

This paper designs Shared Memory on the Dual Core system so that it operates a general System V IPC on the Linux O.S. Shared Memory is the technique that many processes can access to identical memory area. We treat Shared Memory in this paper among big two branches of Shared Memory which are SVR in a kernel step format. We design a share memory facility of Linux operating system on the Dual Core System. In this paper the suggesting design plan of share memory facility in Dual Core system is enhancing the performance in existing unity processor system as a dual core practical use. We attempt a performance enhance in each CPU for each process which uses a share memory.
Improvement of User Recognition Rate using Multi-modal Biometrics

In general, it is known a single biometric-based personal authentication has limitation to improve recognition rate due to weakness of individual recognition scheme. The recognition rate of face recognition system can be reduced by environmental factor such as illumination, while speaker verification system does not perform well with added surrounding noise. In this paper, a multi-modal biometric system composed of face and voice recognition system is proposed in order to improve the performance of the individual authentication system. The proposed empirical weight sum rule based on the reliability of the individual authentication system is applied to improve the performance of multi-modal biometrics. Since the proposed system is implemented using JAVA applet with security function, it can be utilized in the field of user authentication on the generic Web.
Data Interoperability Framework based on XMDR Data Hub using Proxy DataBase

We propose Framework that (should) have data interoperability between Legacy DataBases using Proxy DataBases based on XMDR(eXtended Meta-Data Registry) Data Hub in this papers. It may occur some problems among data structure, semantics and other heterogeneous problems between interoperability of legacy DB on cooperation environment. Also, It is hard to keep consistency of Data that changes on realtime, regardless of data variety and type. In this paper, Using XMDR data hub, we solve the problem that was occurred by data integration and interoperability between legacy DB. We suggest the framework which are compatible with any class and type of interoperability-data and offer accurate information with consistency in real-time using proxy database.
A study on the electrostatic and magnetic flux cut off effect using anti-magnetic material

Bisumus has a low melting point, making it easier to handle. This allows us to test what type of effect diamagnetism has on electro static and magnetic field shields. However, the actual materials for experimentation have only ever been manufactured cylindrically, and so there have been no recorded cases of measurements to this effect. To understand what kind of effect pure bisumus as diamagnetism has on electro static and magnetic shields in comparison to other materials, bisumus, along with copper, aluminum and iron 스텐도, were used to make a cylinder each. These cylinders were then used to measure and compare the electro static shield and magnetic shield at different bands of frequencies, starting from a low frequency. As shown on the graph/chart/diagram, the best results were recorded for copper and bisumus as diamagnetism in an electro static field. In terms of magnetic shielding, iron provided the best results, as expected, whereas bisumus displayed minimal effect.
Implementation of interactive 3D floating image pointing device

In this paper, we propose a novel interactive 3D floating image pointing device for the use of 3D environment. The proposed system consists of the 3D floating image generation system by use of a floating lens array and the a user interface based on real-time finger detection. In the proposed system, a user selects single image among the floating images so that the interaction function are performed effectively by pressing the button event through the finger recognition using two cameras. To show the usefulness of the proposed system, we carry out the experiment and the preliminary results are presented.
FPGA Implementation of Doppler Invarient Low Power BFSK Receiver Using CORDIC

This paper is to design and implement a low power noncoherent BFSK receiver intended for future deep space communication using Xilinx System generator. The receiver incorporates a 16 point Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) for symbol detection. The design units of the receiver are digital design for better efficiency and reliability. The receiver functions on one bit data processing and supports main data rate 10kbps. In addition CORDIC algorithm is used for avoiding complex multiplications while computing FFT and multiplication of twiddle factor for low power is substituted by rotators. The design and simulation of the receiver is carried out in Simulink then the Simulink model is translated to the hardware model to implement FPGA using Xilinx System Generator and to verify performance.
License Plate Extraction Using Gray Labeling and fuzzy Membership Function

New license plates have been used since 2007. This paper proposes a new license plate extraction method using a gray labeling and a fuzzy reasoning method. First, the proposed method extracts the candidate plates by the gray labeling which is the enhanced version of a non-recursive flood-filling algorithm. By newly designed fuzzy inference system. fitness of each candidate plates are calculated. Finally, the area of the license plate in a image is extracted as a region of the candidate label which has the highest fitness. In the experiments, various license plate images took from indoor/outdoor parking lot, street, etc. by digital camera or cellular phone were used and the proposed extraction method was showed remarkable results of a 94 percent success.
A Hierarchical Data Dissemination Protocol in Large-Scale Wireless Sensor Networks

In large-scale wireless sensor networks, the deployed nodes cannot be replaced or recharged after first deployment. Also, dead nodes maγ lead to the partition of whole networks. While performing data dissemination under a battery power constraint, energy efficiency is a key design factor of routing protocol. As a solution for the efficient data dissemination, in this paper, we propose a protocol namely Hierarchical Data Dissemination (HDD) which provides scalable and efficient data delivery to multiple sources and mobile sinks. HDD uses the facts that sink nodes are central gathering Points and source-centric data forwarding paths are constructed and it is maintained with two-tier communications. The performance of HDD is compared with TTDD about the energy consumption, data delivery time and data success ration. The extensive simulation results show that HDD Routing Protocol outperforms TIDD by more than
on energy consumption.
Network Traffic Reduction Method using Compression in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor network is a network that consists of small wireless sensor nodes. Sensor nodes transfer the sensed data about the objects or environment to the sink through wireless channel. The energy dissipation by wireless transmission is the primary factor of energy dissipation in the sensor node. To utilize the limitted resource at the sensor node, it is required to reduce the number of wireless transmission. In the paper, we proposes a new energy efficient method, NRMC, to reduce the energy dissipation by using the compression technique - DPCM, Wavlet, Quantization, RLC. With NTRC, the life time of sensor network could be increased.
Development RFID Tag-Band of Environment Material using the Management of Hospital Patient

Recently we are limiting use of toxic material of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, PBB, etc. by a nation environment regulation guidance in Europe, the United States, China and Japan. In this paper, we developed manufacture method and RHD tag of environment material using Hanji, Broussonetia Kazinoki Siebold, and PLOYCABONATE, etc. The developed RFID tag stick to each layer interval using environment material which is minimized environment pollutant.
