An Improved Cost Management Method for ERP System

Currently, the business environment has been rapidly changed due to the fast globalization and development of information technology. Therefore, many companies are trying to change their management system by improving their own decision making systems and innovations. Many domestic enterprises are introducing or considering the ERP system. In the field of ERP management accounting, there are many auxiliary functions for helping efficient internal management analysis for company. In this paper, we proposed and developed an improved method for minimize the variance between standard cost and actual cost of materials of the company. In this method we proposed efficient ERP cost management system considering current cost component including currency and actual material cost and overhead costs.
Design of a MAC protocol for Urgent Events in Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless Sensor Networks are widely applied for organizing real-time monitoring systems. Unlike general kinds of sensor networks, it is important to preferential send emergency data to the control server when urgent events are occurred. But IEEE 802.15.4 MAC protocol which is generally deployed for wireless sensor network does not support algorithm for urgency data handling. Therefore, we proposed a MAC protocol which consider the priority for the urgency data handling.
Load-balanced multi-agent model for moving patient management in mobile distribution environment

This paper proposed about a load-balanced multi-agent model in mobile distribution environment to monitor moving patients and to deal with a situation of emergency. This model was designed to have a structure based on distribution framework by expanding a mobile system, and provides healthcare services based on real time situational information on moving patients. In order to overcome the limitation of middleware when we design system, we provided an abstract layer between applications and their base network infrastructure so that balance between QoS requests and network life can be maintained. In addition, clustering was used in cells for the efficient load distribution among multi-agents. By using Clustering FCM, we got optimal resources and had solve about transmission delay.
Performance Evaluation of MC-DS-CDMA Transmission Technique using MRRC Antenna Scheme

MC-DS-CDMA is technique where a single data symbol is transmitted at multiple subcarriers which are orthogonal to each other. With this technique, frequency diversity can be achieved. The performance of PSAM MC-DS-CDMA system with the application of MRRC antenna diversity is analyzed. The BER performance of this system over multipath fading environment is evaluated, considering the channel estimation error, carrier frequency offset, and the nonlinear high power amplifier.
Design of Network-based AIS Reference Station System

In order to prepare for increasing performance requirement for Differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS) services of International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Association of Lighthouse Authorities (IALA), this paper focuses on design of network-based Automatic Identification System (AIS) reference station system that can perform the functionality of Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) reference station in an AIS base station system. AIS base station receives the differential corrections from the DGPS reference station, and it is not a method for transmitting the received differential corrections to onboard AIS units, but it is a method for generating the optimized differential corrections for onboard AIS units in AIS coverage. Therefore this paper proposes an algorithm for generating the differential corrections at AIS reference station, and performs the performance assessment of the proposed algorithm based on DGPS correction data measured from a DGPS reference station. Finally this paper discusses the test results and efficiency of the proposed system.
Fast-Handover Mechanism for Heterogeneous Network Using MIH in PMIPv6

While Wireless Internet services were activated, many users got possible to use various Internet services without limitation in location. In particular, the demands to Wireless Internet Services are getting expanded because mobile devices that support high mobility are getting smarter. However, if a user uses various wireless networks, much limitation occurs in network setting when they move to another network. This is because there are few appropriate Handover Mechanisms to support Heterogeneous Network. So, this paper propose that Fast-Handover for Vertical Network Handover with MIH in PMIPv6 to support heterogeneous network and to reduce the handover latency time. Analysis result presented in this paper shows that by carefully selecting suitable system configuration model and parameters, suggestion has reduced latency time of 26% and packet losses of 90% (Avg.) at the maximum in comparison with original PMIPv6 handover.
Development of Cooperative Viewer System Technology Running on the Scalable High-Resolution Tiled Display System

A tiled display can present a high resolution image or real-sized 3D objects. It can be used fot effective collaboration by allowing multiple users to allocate their own spaces, which are used privately or shared with others. In this research, a collaborative viewer system, which allows manipulating 3D models, images and movie clips, was constructed on a distributed platform. This allows multiple users to manipulate different contents separately with various input devices. This paper describes an architecture and a prototype system built with the viewer.

This paper presents a UML CASE tool for collaboration work between remote place. It configured functions to support collaboration work and it applied framework concept to increase extension and reusability. It also constructed UML CASE tool based on framework. It result in not only reflecting various stakeholder`s opinions but it also contributing to integrated and consistent modeling.
On a Parallel-Structured High-Speed Implementation of the Word-Based Stream Cipher

In this paper, we propose some parallel structures of the word-based nonlinear combining functions in word-based stream cipher, high-speed versions of general (bit-based) nonlinear combining functions. Especially, we propose the high-speed structures of popular four kinds in word-based nonlinear combiners using by PS-WFSR (Parallel-Shifting or Parallel-Structured Word-based FSR): m-parallel word-based nonlinear combiner without memory, m-parallel word-based nonlinear combiner with memories, m-parallel word-based nonlinear filter function, and m-parallel word-based clock-controlled function. In addition, we propose an implementation example of the m-parallel word-based DRAGON stream cipher, and determine its cryptographic security and performance.
Design of a Sanction System for Six Sigma Project

In this paper, we propose a design of automated electronic sanction system for management of six sigma projects. The proposed system performs diverse operations such as registering and choosing enterprise-wide enhancement project, managing schedules of the project, verifying the validity of the project, and thus managing the whole life cycle of the project. Each six sigma project is stored in the database repository for facilitation of its later use. The proposed system has been effectively applied in a Korean company, and thus, through the proposed system, we expect the effects of innovation-related and enhancement-related activities which six sigma is fundamentally pursuing.
A Study on the CBR Pattern using Similarity and the Euclidean Calculation Pattern

CBR (Case-Based Reasoning) is a technique to infer the relationships between existing data and case data, and the method to calculate similarity and Euclidean distance is mostly frequently being used. However, since those methods compare all the existing and case data, it also has a demerit that it takes much time for data search and filtering. Therefore, to solve this problem, various researches have been conducted. This paper suggests the method of SE(Speed Euclidean-distance) calculation that utilizes the patterns discovered in the existing process of computing similarity and Euclidean distance. Because SE calculation applies the patterns and weight found during inputting new cases and enables fast data extraction and short operation time, it can enhance computing speed for temporal or spatial restrictions and eliminate unnecessary computing operation. Through this experiment, it has been found that the proposed method improves performance in various computer environments or processing rate more efficiently than the existing method that extracts data using similarity or Euclidean method does.
Development of an AVL System for Fire Fighting Services

It is possible to use wireless communication any time in every place because of well-developed wireless networks and mobile devices. The AVL(Automatic Vehicle Location) system, therefore, has made practical use in situation control, distribution industry, home delivery service, and ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) area. In this paper, we design and implement an AVL system in order to use for fire fighting activities such as emergency rescue and relief. To do this, first, we investigate and analyze the existing researches and systems related to AVL system. In details, we develop an AVL server and clients to support stable communication each other using wireless networks. Using AVL system, calling cars find the position of accidents quickly and the fire defense headquarters control unforeseen accidents efficiently because the state of calling cars are confirmed in real time by their GPS data.
Design and Implementation of Metadata Management System for Serious Game

One of the most interests is currently a field related with serious game. Also, the scale of serious game industry is rapid quantitative growth every year. For effective management of metadata of serious game is an important issue so that we propose design of integrated management system for effective management of metadata of serious game. The system provide a service based on internet. Users(general users, developers, experts and managers of metadata) of serious game who can carry out effectively works using proposed system such as new metadata information input, existing metadata information search, generated document files(HTML, XML, EXCEL, MS-WORD) as search results saving into their owns local computer system and so on.
A Design and Implementation of Framework for Interworking between Heterogeneous Vehicle Networks for Intelligent Transportation System

There are many kinds of networks in vehicle for their purposes. In-vehicle networks, however, are not unified to single network. The networks are composed of several local networks because of communication speed, cost and efficiency. Because the complexity of network design for communication increases, local networks need a framework for interworking between heterogeneous networks. In this paper, a framework interworking between in-vehicle networks for ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) is proposed and implemented. The proposed framework consists of a compatible protocol, message conversion module, message transceiver module and message analysis module. The results obtained by implementation show that the framework efficiently supports the communication of information between heterogeneous in-vehicle networks.

In ubiquitous GIS services is possible to use the spatio-temporal data using a mobile device at anytime. Also, client is transmitted latest spatio-temporal data from server. But traditional systems have a problem that the time of transmitting latest information from server to client takes long time because of collecting data periodically. In this paper, we proposed Two-way Synchronization system supporting field update to solve the existing problem. This system uses mobile device for collecting changed data in the real world and sending collected data to server.

In this paper, a new temperature-insensitive CMOS dual-mode current reference for low-voltage low-power mixed-mode circuits is proposed. The temperature independent reference current is generated by summing a proportional to absolute temperature(PTAT) current and a complementary to absolute temperature(CTAT) current. The temperature insensitivity was achieved by the mobility and the other which is inversely proportional to mobility. As the results, the temperature dependency of output currents was measured to be

Improvements in characteristics of a single junction AlGaAs/GaAs solar cell are observed by capping a PMMA lens on it. In order to show the effect of the lens, characteristics of a single junction AlGaAs/GaAs solar cell before and after the lens formation are compared under the one-sun illumination condition (

Indium-tin-oxide (ITO) films show a low electrical resistance and high transmittance in the visible range of an optical spectrum. The transparent electrodes have to get resistivity and sheet resistance less than

The LDPC(Low-Density Parity-Check) code, which is one of the channel encoding methods in IEEE 802.11n wireless LAN standard, has superior error-correcting capabilities. Since the hardware complexity of LDPC decoder is high, it is very important to take into account the trade-offs between hardware complexity and decoding performance. Nonuniformity Correction Scheme Based on 3-dimensional Visualization of MRI Images

Human body signals collected by the MRI system are very weak, such that they may be easily affected by either external noise or system instability while being imaged. Therefore, this paper analyzes the nonuniformity caused by a design of the RF receiving coil in a low-magnetic-field MRI system, and proposes an efficient method to improve the image uniformity. In this paper, a method for acquiring 3D bias volume data by using phantom data among various methods for correcting such nonuniformity in MRI image is proposed, such that it is possible to correct various-sized images. It is shown by simulations that images obtained by various imaging methods can be effectively corrected using single bias data.
Extraction Method of Ultrasound Spectral Information using Phase-Compensation and Weighted Averaging Techniques

Quantitative ultrasound analysis provides fundamental information of various ultrasound parameters using spectral information of the short-gated radiofrequency(RF) data. Therefore, accurate extraction of spectral information from backscattered RF signal is crucial for further analysis of medical ultrasound parameters. In this paper, we propose two techniques for calculating a more accurate power spectrum which are based on the phase-compensation using the normalized cross-correlation to minimize estimation errors due to phase variations, and the weighted averaging technique to maximize the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR). The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed method estimates better results with 10% smaller estimation variances compared to the conventional methods.
Image Segmentation of Special Area Using the Level Set

Image segmentation is one of the first steps leading to image analysis and interpretation, which is to distinguish objects from background. However, the active contour model can`t exactly extract the desired objects because the phase only is 2. In this paper, we propose the method which can find the desired contours by composing the initial curve near the objects which have intensities of special range. The initial curve is calculated by the histogram equalization, the Gaussian equalization, and the threshold. The proposed method reduce the calculation speed and exactly detect the wanted objects because the initial curve set near by interested area. The proposed method also shows more efficient than the active contour model in the results applied the CT and MR images.

In this paper, Based on the RFID technology, RFID tags attached to agricultural products when consumers buy, Through the RFID reader to read RFID tags, Which make Easy to accurately convey Production of agricultural information and safety information to consumers. A Study on the Multi-band MIMO Antenna with MD material for Next-generation Mobile Communication

In this paper, we designed and implemented the MIMO antenna for LTE(Long Term Evolution), supposed to be a next generation communications network, DCS1800, DCS1900 and WCDMA. Using conventional monopole antenna with MD material results in good characteristics, miniaturization for LTE band and as well as broadbanding for DCS, WCDMA band. The performance of the proposed MIMO antenna shows VSWR < 2, under -10 dB of isolation and the gain is -1.66 ~ 1.33 dBi for LTE(Long Term Evolution), DCS1800, DCS1900 and WCDMA, which has omnidirectional radiation pattern.

In realization of wireless home network system using speech recognition in indoor voice recognition environment, background noise and reverberation are two main causes of digression in voice recognition system. In this study, the home network system resistant to reverberation and background noise using voice section detection method based on spectral entropy in indoor recognition environment is to be realized. Spectral subtraction can reduce the effect of reverberation and remove noise independent from voice signal by eliminating signal distorted by reverberation in spectrum. For effective spectral subtraction, the correct separation of voice section and silent section should be accompanied and for this, improvement of performance needs to be done, applying to voice section detection method based on entropy. In this study, experimental and indoor environment testing is carried out to figure out command recognition rate in indoor recognition environment. The test result shows that command recognition rate improved in static environment and reverberant room condition, using voice section detection method based on spectral entropy.
Implementation of Mobile Node Monitoring System for Campus Vehicle Management

Most of campus vehicle management systems, so far, simply manages coming in or go out of vehicles, issuing a parking tickets. Recently some of them use RFID tags to count total numbers of cars in the campus, excluding exact parking position management. In this paper we propose a new campus vehicle management system using wireless sensor network location management scheme. This system adopts RSSI based location management method with some performance improvement technique. According to the experimental result, this proposed scheme can be used to implement an effective campus vehicle management system.

When reader collect tags, we found that they tend to get together to specific interface in Multi-Interface Multi-Channel 2.4GHz Active RFID system. To solve this problem, we designed the LP-Combind and AP-Balanced protocol for load distribution between interfaces, then verified its superiority of the performance through the simulation. There are three problems to implement designed protocols in hardware of firmware-level. first, tag selects randomly the channel of reader and reader need the method which can change the channel of tags. second, reader has the synchronization problem between reader and tag. third, reader has problem that MCU of reader have to operate simultaneously dual interface. To slove this problems, we designed the message and implemented method for tag channel change and the protocol in order to adjust synchronization between reader and tag, Therefore, we compared and analyzed the performance of protocols by experiment. If LP windows size is same, the performance of LP-Combined protocol and AP-Balanced protocol which lower collision probability by its load distribution is more outstanding than single interface protocol performance.
The design and implementation of Service architecture for USN application service

USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) environment that provides the service measured from sensors in real-time the information is delivered to application service. However, domestic service, application service provider environment between providers and users, most of the research are on the service platform architecture, and process the information detected by sensors between the providers of standard services platform architecture, which is a very weak level. In this paper, we proposed new service architecture though analysis of the OGC SWE(Sensor Web Enablement) with standards and research analysis of domestic standards. And we designed and implemented to each component of provider side.
Priority based Image Transmission Technique with DPCM in Wireless Multimedia

With recent advances in hardware and wireless communication techniques, wireless multimedia sensor network which collects multimedia data through wireless sensor network has started to receive a lot of attentions from many researchers. Wireless multimedia sensor network requires a research of efficient compression and transmission to process the multimedia data which has large size, in the wireless sensor network that has very low network bandwidth. In this paper, we propose PIT protocol for the transmission based on the priority that classified by the DPCM compression. The PIT protocol sets different priority to the each subbands which are divided by the wavelet transform. The PIT protocol transmits the data with higher priority to guarantee the high image quality. The PIT protocol uses the characteristic of wavelet transform that the transformed image is very insensible to the data loss. In PIT protocol, each subbands of wavelet transformed image has fair weight in the compressed image to utilize the prioriy based transmission. The experiment results show that the PIT protocol improves the quality of image in spite of data loss.
Implementing Secure Container Transportation Systems Based on ISO 18185 Specification

This paper describes implementation of electonic seal (E-Seal) of a container based on ISO 18185 standard and development of monitoring systems checking E-Seal device and cargo states in the container for secure transportation from departure to destination. For lack of definition on confidentiality support in ISO 18185-4 standard, it is vulnerable to security attack such as sniffing. To cope with this, we developed encryption/decryption functions implementing RC5 and AES-128 standards and compared their performance. Experimental results showed that RC5 outperformed AES-128 in terms of time delay. In addition, RC5 had an advantage under the condition of large sized messages as well as CPUs with low performance. However, the portion of encryption/decryption processing time was less than 1 percent of response time including communication delay between E-Seal tags and readers. Hence, the performance difference between RC5 and AES-128 standards was trivial, which revealed that both specifications were allowable in developed systems.
A Study on the Context-Awareness Rule-Based Clustering technique for MANET

One of the weaknesses of ad hoc network is that a route used between a source and a destination is to break during communication. To solve this problem, one approach consists of selecting routes whose nodes have the most stable link cost. In this paper proposes a new method for improving the low power distributed MAC. The method is rule-based on the context awareness of the each nodes energy in clustering. The proposed networks scheme could get better improve the awareness for data to achieve and performance on their clustering establishment and messages transmission.
