This paper analyzes the impact of the change in telecommunication regulation on network investment such as the integration of telecommunication service. The integration of telecommunication service plays a role of separating the behavior regulation from entrance regulation and reducing a entrance constraints. Therefore, it is expected that the market spill over effect is high through the improvement of behavior regulation such as interconnection regulation, facilities provisions, retail price regulation, bundling, number portability of VoIP. This paper discusses the critical factor affecting the decision making process in respect of the firm level and analyzes the impact path guiding investment and innovation. Finally, the paper proposes the guideline for telecommunications policy.

In this paper, full color billboards for the efficient expression of the resolution to offer dual-scanning control method, using the LED display it on a fixed pixel video signal to the pixel dot pattern was changed. And DICT(Dynamic Image Correction Technology) using the main controller in accordance with video information, histogram equalization of image gray scale values to be uniformly distributed, and dynamically improves image quality by converting the area, and a dual auto-scan input video switching controller board as the pixels in the LED Module by controlling the physical manifestation of the existing board LED pixel dots than 4 times the resolution proposes a technique that can be expressed and made it through testing verified the performance.

Since the marine accidents increase with the increased volume of traffic, preventive surveillance technology for safety navigation of the ships before the accident is being emphasized to secure the safety at sea along with post-accident measures. This paper aims to suggest a design based on an integrated safety management platform systems to support nautical safety, implements of bridge operation terminal equipments and alarm system for bridge watch monitoring and abnormal state of navigation/propulsion/machinery/power, and performs a quality evaluation for the actual boarding on the ship based on the classification standards.
Implementation of Dielectric Duplexers and Bandpass Filters for K-PCS and US-PCS Bands

Relative attenuations of Tx and Rx in K-PCS and US-PCS duplexers were about -60dB and -65dB, -51dB and -53dB, respectively. In the case of Rx and Tx in K-PCS and US-PCS bandpass filters, relative attenuations were about -40dB and -14dB, -5dB and -10dB, respectively. From the aboved results, the relative affect between Tx and Rx in K-PCS bands was smaller than that of US-PCS bands. Also, the various capacitances of passband were important role to determine the characterics of bandpass filter.

This paper describes the algorithm that lowers the dimension, maintains the object recognition and significantly reduces the eigenspace configuration time by combining the higher correlation feature information and Principle Component Analysis. Since the suggested method doesn`t require a lot of computation than the method using existing geometric information or stereo image, the fact that it is very suitable for building the real-time system has been proved through the experiment. In addition, since the existing point to point method which is a simple distance calculation has many errors, in this paper to improve recognition rate the recognition error could be reduced by using several successive input images as a unit of recognition with K-Nearest Neighbor which is the improved Class to Class method.
Trajectory Tracking Control of Mobile Robot using Multi-input T-S Fuzzy Feedback Linearization

In this paper, we propose a T-S fuzzy feedback linearization method for controlling a non-linear system with multi-input, and the method is applied for trajectory tracking control of wheeled mobile robot. First, an error dynamic equation of wheeled mobile robot is represented by a T-S fuzzy model, and then the T-S fuzzy model is transformed to a linear control system through the nonlinear fuzzy coordinate change and the nonlinear state feedback input. Simulation results showed that the trajectory tracking controller by using the proposed multi-input feedback linearization method gives better performance than the trajectory tracking controller by using the PDC(Parallel Distributed Compensation) method for controlling the T-S Fuzzy system.
Setting Method of Competitive Layer using Fuzzy Control Method for Enhanced Counterpropagation Algorithm

In this paper, we go one step further in that the number of competitive layers is not determined by experience but can be determined by fuzzy control rules based on input pattern information. In our method, we design a set of membership functions and corresponding rules and used Max-Min reasoning proposed by Mamdani. Also, we use centroid method as a defuzzification. In experiment that has various patterns of English inputs, this new method works beautifully to determine the number of competitive layers and also efficient in overall accuracy as a result.
A Study on Multi-Channel Multi-Interface MAC Protocols for Mesh Networks

In this paper, we propose a new MAC protocol, namely DM-MMAC (Doze Mode Multi-Channel MAC) for ad hoe wireless networks which can utilize multiple channels effectively, thereby enhancing the network throughput considerably. Basically, the IEEE 802.11 specification allows for the use of multiple channels available at the physical layer, but its MAC protocol is designed only for a single channel with the fatal drawback, so called multi-channel hidden terminal problem in multi-channel environments. In this vein, several multi-channel MAC protocols have been proposed, but most of them demonstrate the performance problem that its throughput drastically decreases as the number of mobile hosts residing in a given network increases with small number of available channels. In this work, we tried to improve the performance of multi-channel MAC protocols in terms of network throughput as well as power saving effects by simplifying the channel assignment and channel capturing procedures and reducing the possibility of collisions between mobile hosts.

A typical standard of vehicular ad hoc networks, WAVE which consists of IEEE 1609.x Family standards and IEEE 802.11p standard, includes the multi-channel coordination and channel synchronization function to provide safety services or public services during a car is driven. Generally, the performance of data communication and networking technologies is evaluated by using simulation tools, such as ns-2, OPNET, OPNET++, etc. However, these tools doesn`t provide the operations of WAVE protocol. Therefore, in this paper, we implement and verify WAVE simulation program based on ns-2.
Effective Line Detection of Steel Plates Using Eigenvalue Analysis

In this paper, a simple and robust algorithm is proposed for detecting straight line segments in a steel plate image. Line detection from a steel plate image is a fundamental task for analyzing and understanding of the image. The proposed algorithm is based on small eigenvalue analysis. The proposed approach scans an input edge image from the top left comer to the bottom right comer with a moving mask. A covariance matrix of a set of edge pixels over a connected region within the mask is determined and then the statistical and geometrical properties of the small eigenvalue of the matrix are explored for the purpose of straight line detection. Before calculating the eigenvalue, each line segment is separated from the edge image where several line segments are overlapped to increase the accuracy of the line detection. Additionally, unnecessary line segments are eliminated by the number of pixels and the directional information of the detected line edges. The respects of the experiments emphasize that the proposed algorithm outperforms the existing algorithm which uses small eigenvalue analysis.
Multiple octave-band based genre classification algorithm for music recommendation

In this paper, a novel genre classification algorithm is proposed for music recommendation system. Especially, to improve the classification accuracy, the band-pass filter for octave-based spectral contrast (OSC) feature is designed considering the psycho-acoustic model and actual frequency range of musical instruments. The GTZAN database including 10 genres was used for 10-fold cross validation experiments. The proposed multiple-octave based OSC produces better accuracy by 2.26% compared with the conventional OSC. The combined feature vector based on the proposed OSC and mel-frequency cepstral coefficient (MFCC) gives even better accuracy.
Symmetric Block Cipher Algorithms Using the Dynamic Network

Dynamic cipher has the property that the key-size, the number of round, and the plain text-size are scalable simultaneously. In this paper we propose the block cipher algorithm which is symmetrical in the dynamic network. We present the method for designing secure Dynamic cipher against meet-in-the-middle attack and linear crytanalysis. Also, we show that the differential cryptanalysis to Dynamic cipher is hard.

Current identity management 1.0 model, which is service provider-centric and isolated, has several problems such as low usability, high cost structure, difficulty in privacy protection, and lack of trust infrastructure. Though various SSO-based identity management 2.0 models including Passport/Live ID, Liberty Alliance/SAML, CardSpace, and OpenID have been recently developed in order to overcome those problems, they are not widely accepted in real Internet environment so as to replace the existing identity management 1.0 model. This paper firstly analyzes the widely-known identity 2.0 models in a comparative way, and then presents a perspective on the development direction of identity management 3.0 model for future Internet.
Optimized implementation of HIGHT algorithm for sensor network

As emergence of the ubiquitous society, it is possible to access the network for services needed to us in anytime and anywhere. The phenomena has been accelerated by revitalization of the sensor network offering the sensing information and data. Currently, sensor network contributes the convenience for various services such as environment monitoring, health care and home automation. However, sensor network has a weak point compared to traditional network, which is easily exposed to attacker. For this reason, messages communicated over the sensor network, are encrypted with symmetric key and transmitted. A number of symmetric cryptography algorithms have been researched. Among of them HIGHT algorithm in hardware and software implementation are more efficient than tradition AES in terms of speed and chip size. Therefore, it is suitable to resource constrained devices including RFID tag, Sensor node and Smart card. In the paper, we present the optimized software implementation on the ultra-light symmetric cryptography algorithm, HIGHT.
Query-based Document Summarization using Pseudo Relevance Feedback based on Semantic Features and WordNet

In this paper, a new document summarization method, which uses the semantic features and the pseudo relevance feedback (PRF) by using WordNet, is introduced to extract meaningful sentences relevant to a user query. The proposed method can improve the quality of document summaries because the inherent semantic of the documents are well reflected by the semantic feature from NMF. In addition, it uses the PRF by the semantic features and WordNet to reduce the semantic gap between the high level user`s requirement and the low level vector representation. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves better performance that the other methods.

Techniques for processing continuous queries are required to developing the various types of application services (monitoring services) in ubiquitous environment where the real-time data acquisition from a lot of sensors, analysis, and processing are required. In the previous works of the continuous queries, they have represented all of the continuous queries as the interval queries or region queries, and proposed some methods for processing theses queries. The types of continuous queries, however, are very various, and could be presented by combining the attribute conditions, spatial conditions, and temporal conditions. In this paper, I have classify the types of continuous queries, and have proposed the continuous query model which could be presented by combining those conditions. The contributions of this paper include that it proposes the query model representing the continuous queries and suggests future research directions.
A Swearword Filter System for Online Game Chatting

We propose an automatic swearword filter system for online game chatting by using Support Vector Machines(SVM). We collected chatting sentences from online games and tagged them as normal sentences or swearword included sentences. We use n-gram syllables and lexical-part of speech (POS) tags of a word as features and select useful features by chi square statistics. Each selected feature is represented as binary weight and used in training SVM. SVM classifies each chatting sentence as swearword included one or not. In experiment, we acquired overall 90.4% of F1 accuracy.
Analysis of Subthreshold Characteristics for DGMOSFET according to Oxide Thickness Using Nonuniform Doping Distribution

In this paper, the subthreshold characteristics have been analyzed for various oxide thickness of double gate MOSFET(DGMOSFET) using Poisson`s equation with nonuniform doping distribution. The DGMOSFET is extensively been studying since it can shrink the short channel effects(SCEs) in nano device. The degradation of subthreshold swing(SS) known as SCEs has been presented using analytical for, of Poisson`s equation with nonuniform doping distribution for DGMOSFET. The SS have been analyzed for, change of gate oxide thickness to be the most important structural parameters of DGMOSFET. To verify this potential and transport models of thus analytical Poisson`s equation, the results have been compared with those of the numerical Poisson`s equation, and subthreshold swing has been analyzed using this models for DGMOSFET.

Dithering scheme has been widely used to improve the resolution of DCO(Digitally Controlled Oscillator) in conventional ADPLLs(All Digital Phase Locked Loop). In this paper a new resolution improvement scheme is proposed where a simple DAC(Digital-to-Analog Converter) is employed to overcome the problems of dithering scheme. The frequencies are controled by varactors in coarse, fine, and DAC bank. The DAC bank consists of an inversion mode NMOS varactor. The other varactor banks consist of PMOS varactors. Each varactor bank is controlled by 8bit digital signal. The proposed DCO has been designed in a
CMOS process. Measurement results shows that the designed DCO oscillates in 2.8GHz~3.5GHz and has a frequency tuning range of 660MHz and a resolution of 73Hz at 2.8GHz band. In this paper, a dual-loop Integer-N phase-delay locked loop(P DLL) architecture has been proposed using a low power consuming voltage controlled delay line(VCDL). The P DLL can have the LF of one small capacitance instead of the conventional second or third-order LF which occupies a large area. The proposed dual-loop P DLL can have a small gain VCDL by controlling the magnitude of capacitor and charge pump current on the loop of VCDL. The proposed dual-loop P DLL has been designed based on a 1.8V
CMOS process and proved by Hspice simulation.

Histogram Based Hand Recognition System for Augmented Reality

In this paper, we propose a new histogram based hand recognition algorithm for augmented reality. Hand recognition system makes it possible a useful interaction between an user and computer. However, there is difficulty in vision-based hand gesture recognition with viewing angle dependency due to the complexity of human hand shape. A new hand recognition system proposed in this paper is based on the features from hand geometry. The proposed recognition system consists of two steps. In the first step, hand region is extracted from the image captured by a camera and then hand gestures are recognized in the second step. At first, we extract hand region by deleting background and using skin color information. Then we recognize hand shape by determining hand feature point using histogram of the obtained hand region. Finally, we design a augmented reality system by controlling a 3D object with the recognized hand gesture. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm gives more than 91% accuracy for the hand recognition with less computational power.
Recognition for Lung Cancer using PCA in the Digital Chest Radiography

Risk of lung cancer among lung-related diseases has gradually increased during last decades. The chest digital radiography is the primary diagnosis method for lung cancer. Diagnosing lung cancer using this method requires doctors of ripe experience. Despite their experience there are often wrong diagnoses, which decrease early diagnosis and survival rates of patients. The aim of this study was intended to establish the base on the Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) by analyzing Image Recognition Algorithm using Principle component Analysis (PCA) and diagnosing patient`s chest X-ray image. The database obtained through this approach enables a doctor to significantly reduce misdiagnosis during the early diagnosis stage, if he or she utilizes it as the preliminary reading step. Case studies were carried out using normal organ, and organs suffering from bronchogenic carcinoma and granuloma. A normal image and unique disease images were extracted after PCA analysis, and their cross-recognition efficiency were compared each other. The result revealed that the recognition rate was much high between normal and disease images, but relatively low between two disease images. In order to increase the recognition efficiency among chest diseases the related algorithms have to be developed continuously in the future study, and such effort will establish the resolute base for CAD.
A Study on Stereo Visualization of the X-ray Scanned Image Based on Volume Reconstruction

As the existing radiation scanning systems use 2-dimensional radiation scanned images, the low accuracy has been pointed out as a problem of it. This research analyzes the applicability of the stereo image processing technique to X-ray scanned images. Two 2-dimensional radiation images which have different disparity values are acquired from a newly designed stereo image acquisition system which has one additional line sensor to the conventional system. Using a matching algorithm the 3D reconstruction process which find the correspondence between the images is progressed. As the radiation image is just a density information of the scanned object, the direct application of the general stereo image processing techniques to it is inefficient. To overcome this limitation of a stereo image processing in radiation area, we reconstruct 3-D shapes of the edges of the objects. Also, we proposed a new volume based 3D reconstruction algorithm. Experimental results show the proposed new volume based reconstruction technique can provide more efficient visualization for cargo inspection. The proposed technique can be used for such objects which CT or MRI cannot inspect due to restricted scan environment.

Swan-Ganz Catheter with temperature sensors and pressure sensors and sensor value which is entered through the acquisition more closely if the cardiac output CO, systemic and pulmonary vascular resistance, oxygen consumption and may be able to more accurately calculate the patient`s condition than accurate diagnosis and treatment is possible.
Reconstructed image quality enhancement by an improved pickup model in computational integral imaging

This paper describes an enhancement method for a computational pickup model. The conventional computational pickup model utilizes the ray-trace model and the pinhole model. The conventional model is very useful, however, it suffers from quality degradation of reconstructed images at long distances. To overcome the problem, we propose an accurate pickup model. The proposed model includes integration of the rays incoming to a sensor that generates a pixel, resulting in robustness on the Aliasing artifact. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, experimental results are carried out. The results indicated that the proposed method is superior to the conventional method.

This is the development of educational content that provides online ethical education to adolescents. Internet oriented education content is not only limited by time and place, but also enables students to do self-motivated study. In addition, it is not unilateral education in which teachers only give lectures but also requires students to seek for information so that they can interact with teachers. Therefore, in this paper, we are going to observe the basic concept and principle of information communication ethnical education, educational contents and how to do self-motivated study to reveal the necessity of implementing educational content. This course of education is compared and analyzed to preceding studies on which online educational contents are established.

CSD is IEEE Stan없rd 802.15.4b based Container Security Device which is proposed by the U.S Department of Home Security. It is mounted inside the container to sense opening of the container door. ConTracer is the CSD which is developed in this research whose major features are sensing door opening status as well as history inquiring on internal environment and shock to the container by mounting the temperature/humidity/shock sensors. Moreover, its RFID frequency bandwidth uses 2.4GHz 10 correspond actively to the radio regulations used by different countries. This. paper introduces the development trend of CSD, compares the ConTracer which is developed thru this research and other company`s CSD, and introduces CSD System which is designed and established using ConTracer. Finally, the implemented CSD System is verified by applying the demonstration service to container distribution between Korea and Japan.

According to the KEC 2005 accreditation criteria, enough major courses in addition to mathematics, basic science, computer science, cultural studies are required to fulfill the program`s goal. So it is hoped that students have to take mandatory major courses as well cultural studies. In this paper we considered the necessity of General Education Curriculum for Engineering Education by analyzing the several university`s accreditation programs and suggested the desirable modeling of the General Education Curriculum.

With the advancement of ubiquitous computing technology, u-Healthcare (i.e. ubiquitous health care), is regarded as a key application for information society, which provides health management service at anytime in anywhere. To implement U-Healthcare system, it is essential to monitor stable biological information in daily life. In this paper, we proposed a small size, light weight, patch type real time temperature monitoring system based on wireless sensor network (WSN) technology to monitor patients` body temperature without any inconvenience of activity.
