The aim of this paper is to analyze factors for site selection of the cloud data center and to develop spatial data model considering disasters information based on the GIS. In this paper, historical areas of the natural and human disaster are considered to analyze location of the cloud center. The model is developed using ArcGIS S/W tool. The model is applied on Busan city using disaster data from storm and flood, and small administrative district located Kang-Seo-Gu is selected as site selection of the cloud data center of Busan.

Survivability of combat system is changed by various facts in dynamic battle field. Existing survivability analysis programs for a combat system analyze statically survivability for combat system in spite of dynamic battle environment. To overcome this limitation, we propose an agent-based modeling and simulation method for dynamic survivability analysis of the combat system. To do this, we have adopted DEVS formalism, SES/MB framework and agent technology for modeling components of the combat system and crews. The proposed method has advantages of being able to analyze not only a static survivability of the combat system but also a dynamic survivability of combat system by applying responses of crews in battle field.
Implementation and Design of the Voltage Controlled Oscillator Using Ring type DGS Resonator

In this paper, a novel resonator using ring type DGS is proposed for improvement of phase noise characteristics that is weak point of oscillator using planar type microstrip line resonator, and oscillator for 5.8 GHz band is designed using proposed DGS resonator. The ring type DGS resonator is composed of DGS cell etched on ground plane under
microstrip line. At the fundamental frequency of 5.8 GHz, 7.6 dBm output power and -82.7 dBc@100kHz phase noise have been measured for oscillator with ring type DGS resonator. We designed the voltage controlled oscillator using proposed the DGS resonator with varactor diodes placed between gaps of DGS. Thus, due to its simple fabrication process and planar type, it is expected that the technique in this paper can be widely used for low phase noise oscillators for both MIC and MMIC applications.

In this study, we propose the new interface system for the disabled and old people who do not well using electronic equipment that is used physical switch interface system. The proposed new interface system is consisted of speech and motion recognition system. Speech recognition system is mike in the headset, and motion recognition system is 3-axis accelerometer in the headset. In order to verify the usefulness of the proposed system, we make an experiment on new interface.
Development of Power Management System for Efficient Energy Usage of Small Generator

In this paper, an electricity management system, which saves energy by utilizing electricity consumption of load from an environment that uses at least two compact generators, is proposed and developed. A hardware is constructed by using TMS320C6713 DSP chip made by TI that is capable of high speed hardware floating point processing while serial communication is used for communication with a monitoring PC. Manual control is made possible from the monitoring PC and automatic on/off is enabled in the generator by using data collected by CT/PT sensor from the DSP mainboard. Test results confirm that the electricity management system proposed in this study functions without abnormality. The application of an algorithm that saves energy by using electricity consumption of load also allows for a longer supply of electricity compared to continuously using two compact generators.
Generic Document Summarization using Coherence of Sentence Cluster and Semantic Feature

The results of inherent knowledge based generic summarization are influenced by the composition of sentence in document set. In order to resolve the problem, this papser propses a new generic document summarization which uses clustering of semantic feature of document and coherence of document cluster. The proposed method clusters sentences using semantic feature deriving from NMF(non-negative matrix factorization), which it can classify document topic group because inherent structure of document are well represented by the sentence cluster. In addition, the method can improve the quality of summarization because the importance sentences are extracted by using coherence of sentence cluster and the cluster refinement by re-cluster. The experimental results demonstrate appling the proposed method to generic summarization achieves better performance than generic document summarization methods.
Analysis of Capacity Efficiency of Broadcasting Service in LTE Network

Recently, multimedia broadcasting traffic is explosively increasing since the performance of smartphones is significantly enhanced and capacity of mobile access network such as LTE is steeply increasing. We can accommodate the multimedia broadcasting traffic via general unicast scheme or eMBMS which is a broadcast-specific scheme. First, the unicast scheme provides higher spectral efficiency compared to the eMBMS. However, unfortunately, the efficiency of the unicast scheme dramatically decreases as the number of users increases. On the other hand, although the spectral efficiency of the eMBMS is lower than that of the unicast, it can serve many users with a channel. Thus, this paper defines and investigates the capacity efficiencies of the both schemes for multimedia broadcasting traffic. In addition, we derive the optimal number of users where the eMBMS can provide the higher capacity efficiency than that of the unicast scheme.
A Design and Implementation of CDMA based Electronic Float Flow Pattern System

The electronic float flow pattern system can predict a rate of flow of river by monitoring a location of float in remote with location measurement technology and a variety of communication technology. Now, to analyze the flow pattern of the natural streams, we use the manual floats in many forms. The measurement of a rate of flow using a manual float measures the distance and time of the manual float directly and uses it. It is inefficient for measurement method and exact a rate of flow of river. To overcome this problems, we designed and implemented the electronic float using CDMA, GPS, and RF module. Then, to get the location information and a rate of flow information, we designed and implemented the monitoring system for the electronic float flow pattern. The short life cycle of electronic float using the battery decreases the utility of the electronic float flow pattern system. Then, we design the power saving method to reduce the power of the electronic float in electronic float flow pattern system.
GHG Monitoring Service Scenarios Based on NGN Functions

The GHG(green house gas) monitoring has been an essential method to prevent climate change. Service scenarios for GHG monitoring over NGN(next generation network), a global infrastructure, was proposed in the previous study, which stays at the abstract level that may lead to difficulties for the actual implementation of the monitoring service in NGN. This paper proposes GHG monitoring service scenarios, based on functions to be incorporated in NGN, that provides the basis for actual implementation in NGN.

MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport) is a network protocol for vehicle multimedia, where it guarantees large bandwidth and reliability. However, previous MOST device utilized I2C or I2S communication method to data manage or transfer, Bandwidth of MOST have increased and additional equipments are added to one device, requiring a larger form of bandwidth communication method. Therefore, this research suggests of the methods in improving the efficiency of asynchronous data transfer, and suggest an algorithm, which will improve the reliability.

In the RFID Sytem, When leaders recognize the tag, a anti-collision scheme is an important factor in the performance of the system. Probabilistic-based anti-collision scheme using the slot status is a technique to estimate the number of tags. the schemes to quickly and accurately estimate the number of tags has been a lot of research. However, A initial number tag are not considering in the number of tags unknown environment. In the paper, estimation scheme for the initial number of tag is proposed to solve the problems. we analyze the performance by the initial number of tag and the proposed scheme.

Today, many enterprises have invested heavily for the part of information security in order to protect the internal critical information assets and the business agility. However, there is a big problem that big budget and too many manpower are needed to set the internal corporate network up to the same high level of defense for all of part. On the distributed enterprise networks in this paper, a defense model for effective and rapid response on the IP spoofing attack was designed to protect the enterprise network through the exchange of information between the trust hosts when an attacker attacked any target system using other trusted host.
Supporting Effective Collaborative Workspaces over Moodle

Web-based learning receives much attention as an effective learning method because users can use the learning service at any time from any space. A learning management system(LMS) provides online educational environment among teachers and students, supporting various facilities to deliver educational contents. Since most of the existing LMSs support one-way or limited two-way teaching services among teachers and students, there are a lot of difficulties in performing collaboration among students and/or collaboration among teachers and students. In this paper, we describe the development of collaborative workspaces which provides effective collaborative educational environment on Moodle which is widely accepted as a typical LMS. Through the provided various types of collaborative workspaces, users can easily perform group activities, sharing educational with appropriate access control mechanism.
Road Lane and Vehicle Distance Recognition using Real-time Analysis of Camera Images

This paper propose the method to recognize the lanes and distance between cars in real-time which detects dangerous situations and helps safe driving in the actual road environment. First of all, it extracts the area of interest corresponding to roads and cars from the road image photographed by using the forward-looking camera. Through the hough transform for the area of interest, this study detects linear components and also selects the lane and conducts filtering by calculating probability. And through the shadow threshold analysis of the cars in front within the area of interest, it extracts the objects of cars in front and calculates the distance from cars in front. According to the result of applying the suggested technology to recognize the lane and distance between cars to the road situation for testing, it showed over 95% recognition rate; thus, it has been proved that it can respond to safe driving.

In this report, it provides helpful information to customers in order to respond various security threat by implementing and designing an remote administration system with using Mobile Device Management (MDM), technology. As a result, customers themselves can prevent information spill by managing remotely from WEB due to the lost and stolen. It is also possible to use control and monitoring.
Design and Implementation of Electric Current Control Device for Ignition Coil in Spark Ignition Engine

In this paper, we design and implement a electric current controller for ignition coil to measure the amount of current and to supply the additional current under vehicle driving conditions in spark ignition engines. The proposed controller can provide the stable current and prevent the overcurrent by measuring the amperage of primary ignition in real time. Also it enhances the performance of vehicle engine by controling the amount of ignition energy that make power increase and fuel burn more completely. The power and torque of the normal vehicle is evaluated as performance index for the experimental validation of the control module. The experimental results using dynamometer equipment show that after control module-mounted elevates the average of 10% more in both power and torque compared with before module-mounted.

In recent years, cyber crimes were intended to get financial benefits through malicious attempts such as DDoS attacks, stealing financial information and spam. Botnets, a network composed of large pool of infected hosts, lead such malicious attacks. The botnets have adopted several evasion techniques and variations. Therefore, it is difficult to detect and eliminate them. Current botnet solutions use a signature based detection mechanism. Furthermore, the solutions cannot cover broad areas enough to detect world-wide botnets. In this paper, we propose IRC (Internet Relay Chat) that is used to control the botnet communication in a session channel of IRC servers connected through the analysis of the relationship of the channel and the connection with the server bot-infected hosts and how to detect.
A Scheme of Computational Time Reduction on Back-End Server Using Computational Grid

We need privacy protection protocols, that satisfy three essential security requirements; confidentiality, indistinguishability and forward security, in order to protect user`s privacy in RFID system. The hash-chain based protocol that Ohkubo et. al proposed is the most secure protocol, that satisfies all of the essential security requirements, among existing protocols. But, this protocol has a disadvantage that it takes very long time to identify a tag in the back-end server. In this paper, we propose a scheme to keep security just as it is and to reduce computation time for identifying a tag in back-end server. The proposed scheme shows the results that the identification time in back-end server is reduced considerably compared to the hash-chain based protocol.
The Design and Implementation Navigation System For Visually Impaired Person

In the rapid growth of cities, road has heavy traffic and many buildings are under constructions. These kinds of environments make more difficulty for a person who is visually handicapped to walk comfortable. To alleviate the problem, we introduce Navigation System to help walking for Visually Impaired Person. It follows, service center give instant real time monitoring to visually impaired person for their convenient by this system. This Navigation System has GPS, Camera, Audio and Wi-Fi(wireless fidelity) available. It means that GPS location and Camera image information can be sent to service center by Wi-Fi network. To be specific, transmitted GPS location information enables service center to figure out the visually impaired person`s whereabouts and mark the location on the map. By delivered Camera image information, service center monitors the visually impaired person`s view. Also, they can offer live guidance to visually impaired person by equipped Audio with live talking. To sum up, Android based Portable Navigation System is a specialized navigation system that gives practical effect to realize more comfortable walking for visually impaired person.
Sensorless Speed Control of Induction Motor using Model Reference Adaptive Control and Direct Torque Control System

This paper proposes a new sensorless speed control scheme of induction motor using Model Reference Adaptive Control and Direct Torque Control System. The Model Reference Adaptive Control System is based on the comparison between the outputs of Reference Model and Adjustable Model. The error between the estimated quantities obtained by the two models is used to drive a suitable adaptation mechanism which generates the estimated rotor speed for the Adjustable Model. And the Direct Torque Control scheme controls torque and flux by restricting the flux and torque errors within respective hysteresis bands, and motor torque and flux are controlled by the stator voltage space vector using optimum inverter switching table. The simulation results of proposed method indicate good speed responses from the low speed range to the high, and also show favorable characteristics of load operation.
A Fractional-N PLL with Phase Difference-to-Voltage Converter

In this paper, a Phase Difference-to-Voltage Converter (PDVC) has been introduced into a conventional fractional-N PLL to suppress fractional spurs. The PDVC controls charge pump current depending on the phase difference of two input signals to phase frequency detector. The charge pump current decreases as the phase difference of two input signals increase. It results in the reduction of fractional spurs in the proposed fractional-N PLL. The proposed fractional-N PLL with PDVC has been designed based on a 1.8V
CMOS process and proved by HSPICE simulation.
Design of a Low Memory Bandwidth Inter Predictor Using Implicit Weighted Prediction Technique

In this paper, for improving the H.264/AVC hardware performance, we propose an inter predictor hardware design using a multi reference frame selector and an implicit weighted predictor. previous reference frame are reused for Low Memory Bandwidth. The size of the reference memory in the predictor was reduced by about 46% and the external memory access rate was reduced by about 24% compared with the one in the reference software JM16.0. We designed the proposed system with Verilog-HDL and synthesized inter predictor circuit using the Magnachip 0.18um CMOS standard cell library. The synthesis result shows that the gate count is about 2,061k and the design can run at 91MHz.
Stable Power Plan Technique for Implementing SoC

ASIC(application specific integrated circuit) process is a set of various technologies for fabricating a chip. Generally there have been many researches for RTL design, synthesis, floor plan & routing, low power scheme, clock tree synthesis, and testability which are widely researched in recent. In this paper we propose a new methodology of power strap routing in basis of design experience and experiment. First the power strap for vertical VDD and VSS and horizontal VDD and VSS is routed, and then after the problems which are generated in this process are analyzed, we propose a new process for resolving them. For this, the strap guide is inserted to protect the unnecessary strap routing and dumped for next steps. Next the unnecessary power straps which are generated the first inserting process are removed, and the pre-routing is performed for the macro cells. Finally the resultant power straps are routed using the dumped routing guide. Through the proposed process we identified the efficient and stable route of the power straps.
Design of Normally-Off AlGaN Heterojunction Field Effect Transistor Based on Polarization Engineering

In this study, we propose a novel structure based on AlGaN substrate or buffer layer to implement a normally-off mode transistor that was difficult to be realized by conventional AlGaN/GaN heterojunction structures. The channel under the gate can be selectively depleted by growing an upper AlGaN barrier with a higher Al mole fraction and a top GaN charge elimination layer on AlGaN substrate or buffer layer. The proposed AlGaN heterojunction field effect transistor can achieve a threshold voltage of > 2 V, which is generally required in power device specification.
Multiple LCD System Development of daisy-chain Method using LVDS

This thesis explains the development of multiple LCD system with the additional function to maximize the utilization of PC contents. The newly developed system is composed of host LCD and slave LCD. Host LCD decodes and outputs the image and voice of NTSC, PAL, SECAM signals. It also converts the decoded signals into LVDS signals before transmitting them to slave LCD stage. In addition, the installation of CF Memory and USB Memory helps display multi-media data. Unlike the host LCD, since not including the tuner and memory part, the slave LCD can`t receive TV signals and play video signals. It only has the function to receive LVDS image signals and display on a LCD panel. This newly developed multi-LCD system has competitiveness in various aspects. With its simple structure, the failure rate, price and display power are relatively low due to its simplification of the control part. It has price and functional competitiveness as the product whose host LCD can control the entire slave LCD in terms of channel, volume, and video output.
A Study on a Lane Detection Using Eccentricity

In this paper, a lane detection algorithm using Eccentricity calculation is proposed. Lane detection is used for lane departure warning which can support safe driving to prevent accidents. In other to enhance the detection rate, we define the Eccentricity calculation which is introduced in graph theory, and evaluate the Eccentricity. The Eccentricity for any straight line is equal to 1, hence computing the Eccentricity allows the implementation of a first order equation. As a results of simulation, we confirmed that the proposed algorithm was enhanced by time and space complexity, and superior to the performance of the conventional lane detections.
Accelerated compression of sub-images by use of effective motion estimation and difference image methods in integral imaging

In this paper, we propose a novel approach to effectively compress the sub-images transformed from the picked-up elemental images in integral imaging, in which motion vectors of the object in each sub-image are fast and accurately estimated and compensated by combined use of MSE(mean square error)-based TSS(tree-step search) and FS(full search) schemes. This is, the possible object areas in each sub-image are searched by using the fast TSS algorithm in advance, then the these selected object areas are fully searched with the accurate FS algorithm. Furthermore, the sub-images in which all object`s motion vectors are compensated, are transformed into the residual images by using the difference image method and finally compressed with the MPEG-4 algorithm. Experimental results reveal that the proposed method shows 214% improvement in the compression time per each image frame compared to that of the conventional method while keeping the same compression ratio with the conventional method. These successful results confirm the feasibility of the proposed method in the practical application.
Relationship between Anxiety and Cellular Phone Addiction in Undergraduate Students: The Mediating Effect of Adjustment to College Life

The purpose of this study was to investigate an association between anxiety, cellular phone addiction and adjustment to college life in undergraduate students using structural equating model (SEM). This study was verify whether adjustment to college life mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction. Participants of this study were 479 undergraduate students in Gwangju city in accordance to convenience sampling. SPSS 15.0 was employed for descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, calculation for cronbach`s
coefficient, exploratory factor analysis. Also, AMOS 7.0 was employed for confirmative factor analysis and path analysis of casual relation among variables and effect. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, anxiety had a negative effect on adjustment to college life and adjustment to college life had a negative effect on cellular phone addiction. Second, anxiety had a positive effect on cellular phone addiction. Third, it was founded that adjustment to college life partially mediated the relationship between anxiety and cellular phone addiction.
A Design and Implementation of Ontology for Service Interoperability in Collaboration

To support complex business environment. the enterprise information system requires prompt and flexible response to altered conditions. The development of collaboration among information systems in accordance with changes in enterprises` business environment brings about the problems of duplication of the existing business services and increase in costs of maintenance. In order to supplement and resolve such problems, researches on ontology are under way. Ontology can support the semantic interoperability of Web service by describing the resources of particular business domains and the relationships among them. This thesis suggests ontology that supports interoperability among services. The constructed ontology is designed into the service area, the meta area, and the instance area, which can support the collaboration efficiently by providing the link between the interactivity among businesses and the data. The register and call of constructed ontology are carried out with the interaction of the three areas, that is, the service area, the instance area and the meta area that supports the common elements. The efficiency of the proposed ontology is evaluated by comparing with an existing Web service ontology.
Automatic Classification of Learning Objects Using Case-based Cohesion for Learning Management System

In this paper, a method for automatic classification of learning objects is proposed for effective management and reuse of learning contents. Proposed method will create cohesion of learning objects using cases of learning objects and perform automatic classification of learning objects by measuring their relationship based on cohesion. Application of proposed method to learning management system has the advantage of reducing the costs for developing learning contents. Simulation has shown the average accuracy of 28.20% with probability-based method and 56.38% with cohesion-based method. Simulation has proved that the method proposed in this paper is effective in automatic classification of learning objects.
Improvement of Multilateration using Vector Prediction Algorithm and Kalman Filter

Multilateration that consists of three or more fixed nodes has been widely used in the field of indoor real time location system(RTLS). However, when one or two among fixed nodes are partially out of communication reachability due to obstruction and unstable node, it is difficult to obtain an efficient location information. In order to improve the challenges of poor ranging measurements and fluctuations in these environment, this paper presents, based on TOF(Time of Flight), a new algorithm which can reduce the inherent ranging measurements errors in the conventional multilateration using a vector prediction algorithm for the displacement estimation of mobile node and Kalman filter for an efficient distance average. Even if a person moves with mobile node and then it fails ranging measurement from some of fixed nodes, the proposed algorithm using a present and previous measurement value can predict the distance between mobile node and fixed node which fails ranging measurement. The experimental results are shown that the proposed system improves the localization accuracy and efficiency compared with conventional method, respectively.
A Study on Energy Conservative Hierarchical Clustering for Ad-hoc Network

An ad-hoc wireless network provides self-organizing data networking while they are routing of packets among themselves. Typically multi-hop and control packets overhead affects the change of route of transmission. There are numerous routing protocols have been developed for ad hoc wireless networks as the size of the network scale. Hence the scalable routing protocol would be needed for energy efficient various network routing environment conditions. The number of depth or layer of hierarchical clustering nodes are analyzed the different clustering structure with topology in this paper. To estimate the energy efficient number of cluster layer and energy dissipation are studied based on distributed homogeneous spatial Poisson process with context-awareness nodes condition. The simulation results show that CACHE-R could be conserved the energy of node under the setting the optimal layer given parameters.

The most of military systems that developed today are composed with many sub-systems for mission execution. The test of military systems for delivery test of mass product such that part test, PCB test, component test, integration test. Improving productivity is minimize testing item by man and minimize kind of tester, so that decrease product cost by production time for test. PCB tester be developed many kind of test method that systems were developed by many different engineers. This article studies testing check point for testing that how to minimize of kind of tester, how to automatic test for all of function that have inputs and outputs. Development of tester for improving productivity requires classify functional allocation of main system and sub system, sub system require PCB for functional allocation start on preliminary design period for reducing testing item and testing fixture.
