A Design for Solid-State Radar SSPA with Sequential Bias Circuits

In this paper, we present a design for solid-state radar SSPA with sequential bias. We apply to variable extension pulse generator to eliminate signal distortion which is caused by bias rising/falling delay of power amplifier. There is an optimum impedance matching circuit to have high efficiency of GaN-power device by measuring microwave characteristics through load-pull method. The designed SSPA is consisted of pre-amplifier, drive-amplifier and main-amplifier as a three stages to apply for X-Band solid-state radar. Thereby we made a 200W SSPA which has output pulse maximum power shows 53.67dBm and its average power is 52.85dBm. The optimum design of transceiver module for solid-state pulse compression radar which is presented in this dissertation, it can be available to miniaturize and to improve the radar performances through additional research for digital radar from now on.
Fault Detection of Ceramic Imaging using ART2 Algorithm

There are invisible defects by naked eyes in ceramic material images such as internal stomata, cracks and foreign substances. In this paper we propose a method to detect and extract such defects from ceramic pipe weld zone by applying ART2 learning. In pre-processing, we apply Ends-in Search Stretching to enhance the intensity and then perform fuzzy binarization with triangle type membership function followed by enhanced ART2 that interacts with random input patterns to extract such invisible defects. The experiment verifies that this proposed method is sufficiently effective.
A Lane Tracking Algorithm Using IPM and Kalman Filter

In this paper, A lane tracking algoritm is proposed for lane departure warning system. To eliminate perspective effect, input image is converted into Bird`s View by inverse perspective mapping. Next, suitable features are extracted for lane detection. Using clustering and lane similarity function with noise suppression features are extracted. Finally, lane model is calculated using RANSAC and lane model is tracked using Kalman Filter. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can be processed within 20ms and its detection rate approximately 90% on the highway in a variety of environments.

Applications of dynamic position control are especially focused on cancellation of unknown disturbance against nonlinear dynamic plants. Control performance is technically dependent upon observation methodology of such disturbance signals. This paper presents a novel control strategy by using linear actuators based on CAN communication networks. Disturbance is measured from placing a ball on a flat plant and image processing technique is applied to observe dynamic position of a ball system. We devise a neural network based PI control system to realize robust control of the dynamic system.

Many studies in detection and classification of the targets in the underwater environments have been conducted for military purposes, as well as for non-military purpose. Due to the complicated characteristics of underwater acoustic signal reflecting multipath environments and spatio-temporal varying characteristics, active sonar target classification technique has been considered as a difficult technique. And it has difficulties in collecting actual underwater data. In this paper, we synthesized active target echoes based on ray tracing algorithm using target model having 3-dimensional highlight distribution. Then, Fractional Fourier transform was applied to synthesized target echoes to extract feature vector. Recognition experiment was performed using neural network classifier.

In this paper, the T-SRR (Triple Split Ring Resonator) using MNG (mu-Negative) meta-material adapted in a low-loss bandpass filter with 3-stages is suggested. The size of the T-SRR in the proposed bandpass filter with low dielectric constant PCB can be easily controlled. And the
transmission line theory is applied. The proposed T-SRR and filter have the center frequency of 10 GHz with QL value of 184 for military-satellite communication system in I band. The experimental results of the filter show that the insertion and return losses are 1.44 dB and 17.3 dB with bandwidth of 10 %, respectively. The proposed filter will be redesigned by IPD material etc. should be placed here. These instructions give you guidelines for preparing papers for JICCE.
Transmit Antenna Selection Technique Based on Channel Capacity for Spatial Modulation Systems

In this paper, a novel spatial modulation (SM) with transmit antenna selection (TAS) based on maximizing channel capacity is proposed. Comparing to the conventional TAS technique, the proposed TAS considers the channel capacity of the MIMO channel with antenna selection. The optimal antenna set selection is applied to SM by taking account of the all possible sets, and then, a sub-optimal antenna set selection is also proposed for reducing the computational complexity of the optimal method. Computer simulations show that the proposed TAS significantly outperforms the existing SM scheme based on the magnitude of the channel vectors in terms of bit error rate (BER) in various environments.
A Route Selection Scheme for WLAN Off-Loading in EPC Network with a Cloud Server

There coexist various access network for mobile terminals, such as mobile phones, smart phones, and tablet PC, in mobile and wireless network. In these circumstance, the network traffic overload unexpected causes the service degradation or discontinuity. To solve this problem, we consider a off-loading route selection by a cloud server which monitors traffic volume and selects an appropriate route. With our proposed scheme, it is possible for the EPC network with untrusted WLAN access networks to operate efficiently to a trusted service level. Also, an optimal handover with satisfying service requirements could be achieved by the proposed offload scheme.
Neighbor Discovery Protocol Based on Inhibited and Priority Access Controls for Multihop Cellular Networks

In multihop cellular network environments, the mobility of nodes is a major obstacle to find a reliable routing path between a mobile node (MN) and the access node (AN). Therefore, in this paper, we propose a fast and reliable neighbor discovery protocol that enables the fast and reliable neighbor discovery by considering the node mobility in the multihop cellular network. The proposed neighbor discovery protocol inhibits the transmission of unnecessary control messages to quickly find a suitable neighbor node (NN) and performs a priority-based access control to transmit control messages without collision in the order of NN desirable to be selected. Simulation results show that the proposed neighbor discovery protocol can discover the NNs faster than the conventional scheme and select a more reliable relay node although the number of neighbor nodes increases and the node mobility increases.

In this paper, we proposed on the azimuth correction method for a line-of-sight data-link tracking antenna system. Tracking antenna system is essential to maintain line-of-sight between moving object and data-link equipment. In order to calculate the azimuth and elevation between the moving object and antenna system, we used GPS data. also to match the each coordinate systems, we used geomagnetic sensor or beacon. However, the geomagnetic disturbance-prone terrain in places difficult to correct calibration. The first step, finds the location of the strongest RF signal, we should remember the difference between the reference point and the detected position of the antenna. The second step, we could communicate each other. And the azimuth angle is calculated by GPS values. Despite the geomagnetic interference, we can correct the azimuth angle quickly and easily.
Dynamic Spectrum Access Using Belief Vector Tracking Method for Other Competing Secondary Users

To achieve better performance in dynamic spectrum access networks, each secondary user tracks channels and chooses a good channel to transmit its packet. When all secondary users adopt the same dynamic spectrum access policy, they have similar channel information, which leads secondary users to choose the same channel and more collisions among them. To relieve this problem, we propose an access policy using belief vector tracking method for other competing secondary users. Simulation results are provided to show that the proposed policy yields better performance than the existing policies which do not take into account what other secondary users are doing.
Congestion Control Scheme for Multimedia Streaming Service in Broadband Wireless Networks

It is difficult for TCP congestion control algorithm to ensure the bandwidth and delay bound required for media streaming services in broadband wireless network environments. In this paper, we propose the COIN TCP (COncave INcrease TCP) scheme for providing a high-quality media streaming services. The COIN TCP concavely increases the congestion window size by adjusting the increment rate of congestion window, that is inversely proportional to the amount of data accumulated in the router queue. As a result, our scheme can quickly occupy the available bandwidth and prevent the heavy congestion. It also improves the link utilization by adjusting the decrement rate of congestion window according to the packet loss rate with the random loss. Through the simulation results, we prove that our scheme improves the total throughput in broadband wireless network.
Adaptive Load Balancing Algorithm and Its Performance Analysis Based on System-Level Simulations in Indoor Mobile Communication System

Recently, various solutions to support explosively growing mobile data traffic have attracted intensive attentions. However, the range of spectrum which can be exploited for mobile communications is very limited. Small cell networks are actively investigated because they can efficiently offload mobile data traffic from macro cells without using additional spectrum. In this paper, we developed a system-level simulator considering small cell networks in the indoor environments. We compare the performance of outage probability when a load-balancing algorithm is utilized or not. We can reduce the outage probability of congested BS with the load-balancing algorithm. In addition, overall outage probability of whole wireless systems can be reduced by using the proposed load-balancing algorithm.
Performance Improvement of STAC Protocol by Early Release of Reply Round and Transmission Probability Control

In 13.56MHz RFID system of Auto-ID center, STAC protocol is defined as an anti-collision algorithm for multiple tag reading. In STAC protocol, the reader uses the tag number estimation scheme to determine the number of slots for the next reply round. If errors occur in the estimated number of tags, the identification performances will be degraded due to a lot of collision or idle slots. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an ERPB algorithm that the reader cancels the reply round when it experiences a series of collision or idle slots during the current round. The transmission probability control for the tag is also applied to the proposed algorithm. Through simulations, it is demonstrated that the collision rate for the proposed scheme is about 39% lower than STAC protocol. Therefore, the proposed scheme can achieve faster tag identification time compared with STAC protocol due to the low collision rate.

In this paper, we watch out key measure of the level of transportation service about travel time and delay time. And we measured vehicle traffic by moving vehicle method using CCTV which is one of the travel time measure. We should be measured in place of continuous traffic flow characteristics with wide traffic light interval. In addition, traffic flow on the other side of the interval must be sufficiently identifiable and at the end of this section must be possible U-turn. This method it requires only the driver of the vehicle because of the CCTV measure. In addition, We cannot require time, distance, and traffic equipment that can be recorded. Because equipped with the software to do that. In addition to traffic, average travel time, average space speed, traffic density are also available.

A Meta-analysis is a statistical literature synthesis method that provides the opportunity to view the research context by combining and analyzing the quantitative results of many empirical studies. We conducted a Meta-analysis research on the behavioral intention of information technology based on the theory of planned behavior. This study was targeted a total of 36 research papers that are setting up the causal relationship in the theory of planned behavior among the research papers published in domestic academic journals before 2013. The result of the Meta-analysis, showed that the effect size was 0.571 in the path from attitude toward behavior to behavioral intention, it showed that the effect size was 0.381 in the path from subjective norm to behavioral intention. And, it showed that the effect size was 0.481 in the path from perceived behavioral control to behavioral Intention. Also, it showed that the effect size was 0.421 in the path from behavioral Intention to behavior.

A Movie Recommendation Method Using Rating Difference Between Items

User-based and item-based method have been developed as the solutions of the movie recommendation problem. However, these methods are faced with the sparsity problem and the problem of not reflecting user`s rating respectively. In order to solve these problems, there is a research on the combination of the two methods using the concept of similarity. In reality, it is not free from the problem of sparsity, since it has a lot of parameters to be calculated. In this study, we propose a recommendation method using rating difference between items in order to complement this problem. This method is relatively free from the problem of sparsity, since it has less parameters to be calculated. And it can get more accurate results by reflecting the users rating to calculate the parameters. In experiments for the proposed method, the initial error is large, but the performance has been quickly stabilized after. In addition, it showed a 0.0538 lower average error compared to the existing method using similarity.

Adoption of RFID has become widespread including logistics, drug supply-chain, and healthcare. To adopt RFID, we need to evaluate performance and feasibility of RFID S/W such as EPC Information Service (EPCIS), which demands a variety of test datasets of RFID business events. This paper proposes a novel method for creating RFID business events dataset by means of the simulation of RFID infrastructure. Proposed model provides a flexible representation capability since this is based on well-known petri-net. In addition, it can also be useful when determining adoption of RFID as it supports simulation of RFID environment.

Recently consumers pursue optimized health condition and high leveled quality of life through active promotion and prevention activity of health as the importance of health during daily life is emerged to meet the demand of aging society. Thus healthcare service is evolved into smart healthcare stage using various type of smart devices depending upon the needs of consumers. However the connectivity and interoperability among individual medical devices and smart devices are insufficient, thus data accumulation through individual medical devices is also insufficient. This thesis suggest the methodology to establish the connection among Bluetooth HDP and individual medical devices based on smart TV in addition to the monitoring of biometrics.
Analysis for Potentail Distribution of Asymmetric Double Gate MOSFET Using Series Function

This paper has presented the potential distribution for asymmetric double gate(DG) MOSFET, and sloved Poisson equation to obtain the analytical solution of potential distribution. The symmetric DGMOSFET where both the front and the back gates are tied together is three terminal device and has the same current controllability for front and back gates. Meanwhile the asymmetric DGMOSFET is four terminal device and can separately determine current controllability for front and back gates. To approximate with experimental values, we have used the Gaussian function as doping distribution in Poisson equation. The potential distribution has been observed for gate bias voltage and gate oxide thickness and channel doping concentration of the asymmetric DGMOSFET. As a results, we know potential distribution is greatly changed for gate bias voltage and gate oxide thickness, especially for gate to increase gate oxide thickness. Also the potential distribution for source is changed greater than one of drain with increasing of channel doping concentration.

This paper is proposed a wavelet-based the order statistics MAD(Median Absolute Deviation) method of image fusion of Multi-image contaminated with visible image and infrared image. also The method of compared and defined the threshold the wavelet coefficients using MAD of the wavelet coefficients of the detail subbands was proposed to effectively fusion which of selected the high quality image of the two images. The existed fusion rule may be possible to get the distorted fusion image especially by the distortion in the relation between the pixel and indicator of two images in the existed fusion rules. In order to complement the disadvantage, the threshold of the proposed method sets up the image statistic and excludes the distortion. The hardware design is used FPGA of Xilinx and DSP system for the image fusion and compressed encoding of the proposed algorithm. Therefore the proposed method is totally verified by comparing with the several other multi-image and the proposed image fusion.
Design and Implementation of Automatic Detection Method of Corners of Grid Pattern from Distortion Corrected Image

For a variety of vision systems such as car omni-directional surveillance systems and robot vision systems, many cameras have been equipped and used. In order to detect corners of grid pattern in AVM(Around View Monitoring) systems, after the non-linear radial distortion image obtained from wide-angle camera is corrected, corners of grids of the distortion corrected image must be detected. Though there are transformations such as Sub-Pixel and Hough transformation as corner detection methods for AVM systems, it is difficult to achieve automatic detection by Sub-Pixel and accuracy by Hough transformation. Therefore, we showed that the automatic detection proposed in this paper, which detects corners accurately from the distortion corrected image could be applied for AVM systems, by designing and implementing it, and evaluating its performance.

Representative sleep disorders represent sleep apnea and snoring. Although researches to diagnose sleep disorders as solutions for these problems are going on, the original researches only diagnose and measure sleep disorders but ones to find out the reasons are not activated much. Therefore, to reinforce this, this paper suggests sleep disorder improvement system based on multi-sensor. To design the system proposed in this paper, the entire system`s structure was found and data`s flow was planned. To ensure that the system works, mobile application and user interface was built based on Android. To test the results on accuracy of sleep disorders improvement system based on ontology using multi sensor built and planned in this paper, a scenario was written. As a result of testing inference results` accuracy changing factor values of sleep disorders following test scenario, proposed sleep disorders improvement system`s accuracy was checked.

Recently, at Home and abroad, Internet of Things era things(Thing) is participating as a subject of communication in human communication paradigm of existing (lot/M2M) is in full swing. Automobile, refrigerator, bicycle, until shoes, and communication functions generation of information is installed and has created a fusion of new service IT infrastructure. Its use and application are broadening to various areas and the number of devices used for it is increasing to increase the number of information transmitted for each object. When the traffic reaches its limit while each set of data is transmitted from the devices divided into each group through the mobile network, M2M communications service might not be processed smoothly. This study used the Knapsack Problem algorithm to create a virtual simulator for a smooth M2M service when the mobile network used for the M2M communications reaches its limit. The virtual simulator applies smooth processing of services from the M2M communications that should be processed first to other subsequent services when data comes to each group of devices. As the M2M technology develops to make many objects more compact in size, it would help with smoother processing of M2M services for the mobile network with fast-increasing traffic.

International Civil Aviation Organization adopted the program to improve performance of aviation-related data systems through the ASBU for 20 years from 2013. Research and development for integrated management network of aeronautical telecommunication data through SWIM(System Wide Information Management) technology which is part of program, are being progressed in the United States and European countries. Therefore, in this paper, we suggest a method of testbed implementation based on technology of aeronautical data services architecture applied the concept of SOA(Service Oriented Architecture), development of future data management model for integrated management of aeronautical data, and development of user-centric integrated aeronautical data management network through adapter technology for interoperating legacy aeronautical data system to develop even technology with development trends of advanced countries.

Car running data collected from the vehicle is a native image data and sensing data of it. Hence, it can be used as a set of objective data based on which events that took place outside the car can be analyzed and determined. In this paper, we designed and implemented a emergency situation detection system to sense, store, and analyze signals related to car movements, driver`s various operation states, collision pulse, etc when a car collision accident occurs on the actual road by sensing and analyzing the car movements and driver`s operation status. The suggested system provides information on the driver`s reaction right before the collision, operation state of the vehicle, and physical movement. The collected and analyzed data on vehicle running can be utilized to clarify the cause of a collision accident and to handle it in a just manner. Besides, it can contribute to grasping and correcting wrong driving habits of the driver and to saving.

In this paper, various growth environment data collecting and monitoring based on wireless sensor network for greenhouse environmental monitoring system is designed and implemented. In addition, greenhouse control system is proposed to integrated control and management in internal environment and greenhouse facilities. The system provides real-time remote greenhouse integrated management service which collects greenhouse environment information and controls greenhouse facilities based on wireless sensor network. Graphical user interface for an integrated management system is designed based on the HMI and the experimental results show that the sensor data were collected by integrated management in real-time.

As our country is currently facing "aging society," people demands for qualitively and quantitatively better social welfare services. In particular, the abruptly rapid increase in the elderly population requires various welfare services and medical care related to the elderly. It is urgent to resolve these demands. Also, IT technology in Korea is developing rapidly, and U-Health, a part of the Ubiquitous field is under the actively ongoing researches. In this paper, we studied the Elderly care system model suing U-Health technology. We designed the care system of the residential environment designed specific for the elderly. Additionally, based on that design, we studied the elderly care system using the ubiquitous technology. Since this elderly care system combines the existing community-based model and IT technology in conjunction with other mobile devices, we may supply a new care service application, thus solving the problems of the existing care and medical services.

We proposed the context-awareness routing algorithm DDV (Dynamic Direction Vector)-hop algorithm at Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET). MANET has problem about dynamic topology, the lack of scalability of the network by mobile of node. By mobile of node, energy consumption rate is different. So it is important choosing routing algorithms for the minium of energy consumption rate. DDV-hop algorithms considers of the attribute of mobile node, create a cluster and maintain. And it provides a path by searching a route more energy efficient. We apply mobile of node by direction and time, the alogorighm of routning path and energy efficiency clustering is provided, it is shown the result of enery consumption that is optimized for the network.

This paper presents implementation of embedded remote monitoring diagnosis system which has effective wireless channel structure and communication protocols with user-friendly UI for intelligent digital vessel. Developed system contains integrated vessel monitoring system, server, exclusive mobile terminal and smart phone. We designed an effective dual structure communication channel and simple but effective communication protocol on the monitoring system. Failures of the wireless communication are minimized and the wrong wireless communication channel is immediately replaced. In addition, we developed an effective embedded Linux UI for LCD. The implemented wireless monitoring system was tested and verified on digital vessel.

Sophisticated business intelligent software and personalized web services help collecting and mining huge amounts of personal information. This increase in digitalized personal information and advances in Internet technologies poses new challenges to consumers` information privacy. Based on the identified concept of information privacy concerns (IPC), this study additionally explores the interrelationships among consumers` individual characteristics(self-efficacy, digital literacy, customer alienation), customer satisfaction and intention to buy in e-commerce process. Academically, this study extends IPC to an empirical research model by identifying the conceptualization and organization of IPC. Moreover, practically, e-commerce providers can develop how to relieve IPC of online consumers.

Safety and security system have been internationally enhanced in a field of shipping logistics. Accordingly, techniques for safety and security have been studied steadily. The need of portable radiation detection device is increasing by the search of the container is enhanced. In this paper, we propose to study on the application of the temperature compensation algorithm to the platform to improve the accuracy and the realization of portable radiation detection device based on Cortex-A9. Analog board deforms signal output from the sensor. And Cortex-A9 platform analyzes the signal received and displays the results. Additionally we use the temperature compensation algorithm and thereby we ca look the same results even if the temperature changes.

In this paper, we present a Smart Water Treatment Plant using Zigbee USN devices and a real-time monitoring system in K-water Flow Meter Calibration Center Building. For verification, the data of vertical type WTP such as flow rate, pressure, water level and water temperature are obtained by the Zigbee USN devices, operating in 2.45 GHz band, and be wirelessly surveilled by the real-time monitoring system. The received data from the sensor is transmitted to the data processing device, and then the processed data can be monitored on a smart phone. Consequently, the pilot plant based on the low-cost and high-efficiency USN has been developed with the performance analysis for the communication network and remote monitoring system on mobile devices.
Development of a Precipitation Gauge Using Ultrasonic Measuring Technique

The tipping-bucket and weight measuring type precipitation gauge has long been used worldwide for measuring rainfall. However, the conventional gauge has observation errors and its measurement range is limited by the device`s resolution. In this paper, a new type of precipitation gauge that uses an innovative method by applying a new ultrasonic flow measuring technique was developed. This is the first time this technique is being used to gauge rainfall. The prototype was tested in the laboratory designated by the Korea Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (KOLAS). The rainfall intensity condition was 20~420 mm/H and the Standard Correction System for Precipitation Gauges was used. Results of the laboratory experiment showed that the proposed gauge has a
margin of error. Consequently, it was proven that the proposed gauge is quite accurate and reliable for measuring precipitation.
