Most organizations are more depending on information system in advanced information society. According to this current, unrapid reaction to system failure can cause a fatal effect to a credibility of the organization. An excessively high level of dependence on information system at work makes itself as a primary target of cyber terror. The stability of university's information system is especially weaker than the enterprise's but policy support for securing availability is inadequate. In this paper, we consider the recovery system toward to disorder of university's school affairs information system theoretically and suggest high availability PC based academic administration system.

The HEMP threat may have acquired new, and urgent, relevance as the proliferation of nuclear weapons and missile technology accelerates of the North Korea, for example, is assessed as already having developed few atomic weapons, and is on the verge of North Korea already has missiles capable of delivering a nuclear warhead against South Korea. ITU K.78, K81 and IEC recommended its counter-measuring for the industrial facilities with navigation and sailing facilities in order to obviate the all of processor equipped system malfunctions from the EMP/HEMP but its simulation must only be done by the computer simulation which had studied on the 1960-1990 years USA/AFWL papers. This result has a significant activities to the South Korea being under the North Korea threat because all of HEMP related products was strongly limited for export. The HEMP cord which was developed newly by the KTI including the HEMP generation & propagation analysis, optimal shelter design tool, essential EM energy attenuation in multi-layered various soils and rocks and HEMP filter design tool. Especially, the least square fitting method was adopted to analysis for the EM energy attenuation in the soils and rocks because it has a various characteristics based on the many times field test reports.
The circuit design to be power transmission or power distribution using the dual characteristic impedance transmission line

of a microstrip transmission line, this transmission line can operate as the microstrip line or the coplanar line according to open or short connection between the ungrounded copper plane and grounded plane on the base plane. Two different type operation of the transmission line means that one transmission line can have two different characteristic impedances. This paper proposes and fabricates the circuit to be operated 2-ports power transmission line or 2-way power divider with the stable input matching characteristic by using this dual-impedance transmission line. On the measurement of characteristics of antennas for indoor digital TV

In this paper, measurement methods for the characteristics of antennas for indoor digital TV (DTV), having 75-ohm port impedance, are introduced. Reference impedance of typical radio frequency (or microwave) systems and measurement equipments is 50 ohm. However, the reference impedance of antennas for indoor DTV is 75 ohm, and the characteristics of the antennas cannot be measured directly using the measurement equipments. Measurement methods, using test equipments with reference impedance of 50 ohm, for the characteristics(impedance, radiation patterns, and gain) of antennas designed to fit for 75 ohm port are introduced.
Design of Compact CPW-fed Slot Antenna Using Split-Ring Resonators

In this paper, a design method for a compact CPW-fed slot antenna using SRRs is studied. The structure of the proposed slot antenna is a rectangular slot antenna loaded with SRR conductors inside the slot to reduce the antenna size. Optimal design parameters are obtained by analyzing the effects of the gap between the SRR conductors and slot, and the width of the SRR conductors on the input VSWR characteristic. The optimized compact slot antenna operating at 2.45 GHz band is fabricated on an FR4 substrate with a dimension of 36 mm by 30 mm. The length of the proposed compact slot antenna is reduced to 14.3% compared to that of a conventional rectangular slot antenna. Experiment results show that the antenna has a desired impedance characteristic with a frequency band of 2.4-2.49 GHz for a VSWR < 2, and measured gain of 2.3 dBi at 2.45 GHz.
A Study on The Inset Fed Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna for S-band Applications

In this paper, the characteristics of a inset fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna for S-band applications is studied. The variations of return loss along inset length and inset width are investigated on the inset fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna. From the investigated results, the optimized inset fed antenna is designed. At the resonant frequency 2.3 GHz, the optimized dimension of the patch is
. The inset length and width are 14 mm and 1 mm, respectively. The designed antenna is fabricated on the substrate which has a dielectric constant and thickness with 2.5 and 0.787 mm. Simulation results are obtained by a 3D EM(Electromagnetic) solver. The resonant frequency and return loss are measured 2.3025 GHz and -21.11 dB, respectively. The measured and simulated results of the fabricated antenna are in good agreement.
Speech Enhancement Based on Feature Compensation for Independently Applying to Different Types of Speech Recognition Systems

This paper proposes a speech enhancement method which can be independently applied to different types of speech recognition systems. Feature compensation methods are well known to be effective as a front-end algorithm for robust speech recognition in noisy environments. The feature types and speech model employed by the feature compensation methods should be matched with ones of the speech recognition system for their effectiveness. However, they cannot be successfully employed by the speech recognition with "unknown" specification, such as a commercialized speech recognition engine. In this paper, a speech enhancement method is proposed, which is based on the PCGMM-based feature compensation method. The experimental results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms the conventional front-end algorithms for unknown speech recognition over various background noise conditions.
Compressive Sensing of the FIR Filter Coefficients for Multiplierless Implementation

In case the coefficient set of an FIR filter is represented in the canonic signed digit (CSD) format with a few nonzero digits, it is possible to implement high data rate digital filters with low hardware cost. Designing an FIR filter with CSD format coefficients, whose number of nonzero signed digits is minimal, is equivalent to finding sparse nonzero signed digits in the coefficient set of the filter which satisfies the target frequency response with minimal maximum error. In this paper, a compressive sensing based CSD coefficient FIR filter design algorithm is proposed for multiplierless and high speed implementation. Design examples show that multiplierless FIR filters can be designed using less than two additions per tap on average with approximate frequency response to the target, which are suitable for high speed filtering applications.
ARM: Adaptive Resource Management for Wireless Network Reliability

To provide network reliability in indoor wireless communication systems, we should resolve the problem of unexpected network failure rapidly. In this paper, we propose an adaptive resource management (ARM) scheme to support seamless connectivity to users. In consideration of system throughput and user fairness simultaneously, the ARM scheme adaptively determines the set of healing channels, and performs scheduling and power allocation iteratively based on a constrained non-convex optimization technique. Through intensive simulations, we demonstrate the superior performance results of the proposed ARM scheme in terms of the average cell capacity and user fairness.
Handoff Scheme based on Adaptive Channel Prediction in Cognitive Radio Networks

Spectrum handoff is the process of exchanging progressing data transmission from the current channel to another idle channel. The essential goal of spectrum handoff in CR(Cognitive Radio) networks is to perform consistent data transmission while sustaining performance of ongoing transmission of secondary users. This handoff procedure can cause additional latency that eventually affects on the performance of CR transmission. Channel prediction method is expected to avoid the disruption to primary users and to reduce the handoff latency. In this paper, adaptive channel prediction is proposed to cope with time-varying channel and an adaptive channel prediction based proactive handoff procedure is designed to enhance data transmission performance.
A New Cell Selection Scheme For Heterogeneous Mobile Communication Networks

Recently, heterogeneous mobile communication network is attracting plenty of interest to serve explosively increasing mobile data traffic. Although the heterogeneous mobile communication network can enhance spatial reuse ratio by using both conventional macro cells and small cells simultaneously, it causes the unbalance in performance of downlink and uplink. In this paper, we propose a new cell selection scheme for heterogeneous mobile communication network. In the proposed cell selection scheme, mobiles select their home cells by considering both uplink and downlink performance, contrary to conventional schemes. We analyze the performance of the proposed scheme in terms of average cell transmission rate through system level simulations and compare it with those of conventional schemes.
D2D Advertisement Dissemination Algorism based on User Proximity and Density

We designate multiple target areas for the advertisement disseminations in order to resolve the problem of advertisement transmission efficiency degradation due to overlapped device-to-device (D2D) transmissions and unnecessary advertisement transmissions. We here propose an efficient advertisement dissemination algorithm based on pre-selected target areas considering user density. In our proposed algorithm, relay nodes are gradually selected according to the locations of the target areas. We mathematically analyze D2D advertisement coverages of our proposed algorithm, and compare the various simulation results of the proposed algorithm with those of the conventional algorithm according to the several simulation scenarios via intensive simulations.
Automatic Recognition Algorithm for Linearly Modulated Signals Under Non-coherent Asynchronous Condition

In this paper, an automatic recognition algorithm for linearly modulated signals like PSK, QAM under noncoherent asynchronous condition is proposed. Frequency, phase, and amplitude characteristics of digitally modulated signals are changed periodically. By using this characteristics, cyclic moments and higher order cumulants based features are utilized for the modulation recognition. Hierarchial decision tree method is used for high speed signal processing and totally 4 feature extraction parameters are used for modulation recognition. In the condition where the symbol number is 4,096, the recognition accuracy of the proposed algorithm is more than 95% at SNR 15dB. Also the proposed algorithm is effective to classify the signal which has carrier frequency and phase offset.
Glint Reconstruction Algorithm Using Homography in Gaze Tracking System

Remote gaze tracking system calculates the gaze from captured images that reflect infra-red LEDs in cornea. Glint is the point that reflect infra-red LEDs to cornea. Recently, remote gaze tracking system uses a number of IR-LEDs to make the system less prone to head movement and eliminate calibration procedure. However, in some cases, some of glints are unable to spot. In this case, it is impossible to calculate gaze. This study examines patterns of glints that are difficult to detect in remote gaze tracking system. Afterward, we propose an algorithm to reconstruct positions of missing glints that are difficult to detect using other detected glints. Based on this algorithm, we increased the number of valid image frames in gaze tracking experiments, and reduce errors of gaze tracking results by correcting glint's distortion in the reconstruction phase.
Implementation of Video-Forensic System for Extraction of Violent Scene in Elevator

is used as a method for scene change detection. It extracts a violent scene in an elevator and then could be used for real-time surveillance of criminal acts. The scene could be also used to secure after-discovered evidences and to prove analysis processes. Video Forensic is defined as a research on various methods to efficiently analyze evidences upon crime-related visual images in the field of digital forensic. The method to use differences of color-histogram detects the difference values of histogram for RGB color from two frames respectively. Our paper uses Color-
histogram that is composed of merits of color histogram and ones of
histogram, in order to efficiently extract violent scenes in elevator. Also, we use a threshold so as to find out key frame, by use of existing Color-
histogram. To increase the probability that discerns whether a real violent scene or not, we take advantage of statistical judgments with 20 sample visual images.
Energy efficiency standard for imaging equipments using electrophotograph printing

In this paper, an efficiency grade standard for imaging equipments using electrophotograph printing such as a printer, copier, fax, and MFD (Multi Function Device) is studied. By emphasizing domestic standby power reduction program's problem, and proposing the necessity of efficiency management, the efficiency standard is developed by reliable data registered in domestic standby power reducing program. To find an efficiency indication for grade, correlation analysis is used and as a result, printing speed has the biggest correlation coefficient. By applying the efficiency indication for grade, the proposed certification standard is established in 1st to 5th level products and super-high-efficiency product (energy frontier) which is better than 1st to 5th level products. If these efficiency standards are chosen by government policies, it is expected to save 65 billion won reduction of energy cost per year.
Conversion Method of 3D Point Cloud to Depth Image and Its Hardware Implementation

In the motion recognition system using depth image, the depth image is converted to the real world formed 3D point cloud data for efficient algorithm apply. And then, output depth image is converted by the projective world after algorithm apply. However, when coordinate conversion, rounding error and data loss by applied algorithm are occurred. In this paper, when convert 3D point cloud data to depth image, we proposed efficient conversion method and its hardware implementation without rounding error and data loss according image size change. The proposed system make progress using the OpenCV and the window program, and we test a system using the Kinect in real time. In addition, designed using Verilog-HDL and verified through the Zynq-7000 FPGA Board of Xilinx.

Mobile application is software executing on smart devices regardless of the time and place. Many individuals and companies have provided a lot of mobile applications services. However, there is not certain standard in terms of application's quality evaluation because study is deficient compared with increase amount of development of mobile application. Moreover, mobile application basically has many special characteristics. For these reasons mobile application is required special standard of quality different from general software. To satisfy these needs, I design and propose mobile application evaluation model. Evaluation model is mapped by characteristics of mobile application based on ISO/IEC 25000's quality characteristics and propose each quality characteristics and metrics. For verification, scenario-based studies were applied to quality model and carried out.
Design and Verification Test of Virtualized VoIP to support Secured Voice Communication

Recently, the computing paradigm has been changing and VoIP technology is being revisited to support various services. In this paper, we have designed and implemented the system of software PBX open source Asterisk, hardware platform, and mobile devices to support secured voice service based on VoIP. Specially, we designed the various platform from single board to servers based on XenServer in hardware platform. And we verified the delay test of network traffics and the secured voice communication test based on this platform.
Research of Distributed Computing with REST Open API Web Services

The majority of next generation information systems will be working on portable mobile devices such as smartphones. REST Open API web services have quickly become popular among mobile application development. The use of REST web services are not only growing in popularity but totally changing the way of mobile applications development. This is because REST web services could be used in application development as a form of building blocks, which is completely independent, compatible, to any platforms. With this strength, REST web services encourage third party application to build add-on functionality. This research proposes the use of REST web service to replace the use of socket APIs into major internet communication APIs. To this end, this paper also provide performance evaluation of the REST web services compared to the conventional socket APIs, focusing on scalability by analytical and experimental evaluations. Finally, we summarize the possibility whether REST Open API web services have enough performance as future major internet communication primitive APIs.
Implementation of User Account Vulnerability Checking Function System using MS-SQL Database

This paper proposes that a user account of the MS-SQL is checked whether expirated or not in C++ program environment. Vulnerability checking module decides security weakness for password change time or user configuration time. The proposed module prevents and protects a user account from a malicious user account. Recently, Information Assets becomes more important. If the loss of database information it would make large damage in our life. This paper develops user account checking module, which checks whether user password have not been changed for a long time or whether the user account expirated in the MS-SQL Database. By checking security vulnerability using this feature, a malicious user cannot access the Database.
A Method to Compare Images for Managing Tools to Repair Ships

The existing ship repair tool management system based on hand writing has many problems such as frequent loss of tool and overdue. To solve this problem, same systems have adopted the bar-code system. However, the systems can't cope with a problem to substitute spurious tool for genuine one on bar-code damage. Therefore, additional validation steps are necessary in order to manage expensive ship repair tool. In this paper, we propose an image comparison method for ship repair tool management. To be more concrete, we propose a normalization method and determination conditions for image comparison to use characteristics of mobile device. The normalization method makes use of the characteristics of mobile device that provides functions of real time recording, overlapping and cropping images. The proposed method applies three conditions(sum of inner angles, size of angle, position of corner coordinates) into the comparison module. The implemented system shows good performance on change direction, lighting, size and etc. The accuracy is more than 95%.
Effects of RF power on the Electrical and Optical Properties of GZO Thin Films Deposited on Flexible Substrate

The 5 wt.% Ga-doped zinc oxide (GZO) thin films were fabricated on PES substrates with various RF power 50~80 W by using RF magnetron sputtering in order to investigate the optical and electrical properties of GZO thin films. The XRD measurement showed that GZO thin films exhibit c-axis orientation. At a RF power of 70W, the GZO thin film showed the highest (002) diffraction peak with a Full-Width-Half-Maximum (FWHM) of
. AFM analysis showed that the lowest surface roughness (0.20 nm) was obtained for the GZO thin film fabricated at 70 W of RF power. The electrical property indicated that the minimum resistivity (
) and maximum carrier concentration (
) and hall mobility (
) were obtained in the GZO thin film fabricated at 70W of RF power. The optical transmittance in the visible region was higher than 80 %, regardless of RF power. The optical band-gap showed the slight blue-shift with increased in carrier concentration which can be explained by the Burstein-Moss effect.
A Study on the selection and noise test of elelctronic sensor for Vacuum Circuit Breaker

This study is about the selection and noise test of electronic sensor which is preceded by electric Operating Cell(EOC) development using electronic sensor technology to solve the structural weakness of Mechanism Operated Cell(MOC) in VCB, and has a final target in product development minimizing contact malfunction of the chattering or rebounce states caused by existing MOC. In this test results, when opening and closing VCB, rising velocity of surge voltage in opening time was measured 4.2 times faster than closing time and noise decibel value was measured respectively 120dB and 110dB. When supplying 60kV power frequency overvoltage, we found that sensor output graph in VCB opening and closing times operated stably without distortion. When supplying 150kV
impulse frequency voltage, we found that voltage graph of output contact in sensor opening and closing sides maintained a normal condition without distortion, and when supplying 2500A current, we found that tested result of electric field noise operated stably without distortion.
The Characteristics Analysis of Novel Moat Structures in Shallow Trench Isolation for VLSI

In this paper, the conventional vertical structure for VLSI circuits CMOS intend to improve the stress effects of active region and built-in threshold voltage. For these improvement, the proposed structure is shallow trench isolation of moat shape. We want to analysis the electron concentration distribution, gate bias vs energy band, thermal stress and dielectric enhanced field of thermal damage between vertical structure and proposed moat shape. Physically based models are the ambient and stress bias conditions of TCAD tool. As an analysis results, shallow trench structure were intended to be electric functions of passive as device dimensions shrink, the electrical characteristics influence of proposed STI structures on the transistor applications become stronger the potential difference electric field and saturation threshold voltage, are decreased the stress effects of active region. The fabricated device of based on analysis results data were the almost same characteristics of simulation results data.

Our country has a convoluted coastline and the marine weather fluctuates locally, so it needs effective AtoN operation for the safe navigation of vessels and fishing boats sailing the coast. Especially, large beacon must ensure the safety of the vessels and always lit at night. If large beacons installed in the lighthouse are not lit, vessels can not assure their location. Thus the accidents is likely to occur, which can cause great economic damage. In this paper, we developed a monitoring system of large beacon to monitor and control the status of information. This system was designed for a special purpose of taking precautions against possible accidents on the sea.
Location Estimation System based on Majority Sampling Data

Location estimation service can be provided outdoors using various location estimation system based on GPS. However, location estimation system is based on existing indoor resources as GPS cannot be used because of insufficient visible satellites and weak signals. The fingerprinting technique that uses WLAN signal, in particular, is good to use indoors because it uses RSSI provided by AP to estimate location. However, its accuracy may vary depending on how accurate data the offline stage used where the fingerprinting map is built. The study sampled various data at the stage that builds the fingerprinting map and suggested a location estimation system that enhances its precision by saving the data of high frequency among them to improve this problem. The suggested location estimation system based on majority sampling data estimates location by filtering RSSI data of the highest frequency at the client and server to be saved at a map, building the map and measuring a similar distance. As a result of the test, the location estimation precision stood at minimum 87.5 % and maximum 90.4% with the margin of error at minimum 0.25 to 2.72m.
Location Estimation Method Employing Fingerprinting Scheme based on K-Nearest Neighbor Algorithm under WLAN Environment of Ship

Many studies have been made on location estimation under indoor environments which GPS signals do not reach, and, as a result, a variety of estimation methods have been proposed. In this paper, we deeply consider a problem of location estimation in a ship with a multi-story structure, and investigate a location estimation method using the fingerprint scheme based on the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. A reliable DB is constructed by measuring 100 received signals at each of 39 RPs in order to employ the fingerprint scheme, and, based on the DB, a simulation to estimate the location of a randomly-positioned terminal is performed. The simulation result confirms that the performance of location estimation by the fingerprint scheme is quite satisfactory.
Performance Optimization of Tandem Source-Channel Coding Systems Employing Unequal Error Protection Under Complexity Constraints

Between tandem source-channel coding systems and joint source-channel coding systems, it has been known that there is a complexity threshold in complexity versus performance. In this paper, by expanding the previous analysis for equal error protection systems, we analyze and compare the performance under complexity constrains for tandem source-channel coding systems which employ unequal error protection. Under a given complexity constraint, the optimization is performed to minimize the end-to-end distortion of each representative tandem and joint source-channel coding system. The results show that the complexity threshold for unequal error protection systems becomes smaller and the performance enhancement of unequal error protection systems over equal error protection systems gets smaller as the system complexity gets larger.
A Study on Correlation Analysis of Entrance Scores by Observation and Nomination System and Performance Assessment Scores for Gifted Children in IT

The purpose of this paper is to identify the correlation of entrance score by observation and nomination system and performance assessment score for the gifted children in IT. In other words, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the reliability of observation and nomination system by analyzing and comparing entrance scores and performance assessment score during the period of attendance for the gifted children in IT. For this purpose, the gifted children are selected and analyzed in a gifted science center attached to a university at Seoul Metropolitan Area. The analysis results show that there is meaningful correlation between entrance score and performance assessment score. That is, if high scores in entrance exam means high scores in performance assessment scores. The result will be useful to trust and extend observation and nomination system for the selection of gifted children in IT.
Optimal Value Detection of Irregular RR Interval for Atrial Fibrillation Classification based on Linear Analysis

Several algorithms have been developed to detect AFIB(Atrial Fibrillation) which either rely on the linear and frequency analysis. But they are more complex than time time domain algorithm and difficult to get the consistent rule of irregular RR interval rhythm. In this study, we propose algorithm for optimal value detection of irregular RR interval for AFIB classification based on linear analysis. For this purpose, we detected R wave, RR interval, from noise-free ECG signal through the preprocessing process and subtractive operation method. Also, we set scope for segment length and detected optimal value and then classified AFIB in realtime through liniar analysis such as absolute deviation and absolute difference. The performance of proposed algorithm for AFIB classification is evaluated by using MIT-BIH arrhythmia and AFIB database. The optimal value indicate

Prediction of Protein Subcellular Localization using Label Power-set Classification and Multi-class Probability Estimates

One of the important hints for inferring the function of unknown proteins is the knowledge about protein subcellular localization. Recently, there are considerable researches on the prediction of subcellular localization of proteins which simultaneously exist at multiple subcellular localization. In this paper, label power-set classification is improved for the accurate prediction of multiple subcellular localization. The predicted multi-labels from the label power-set classifier are combined with their prediction probability to give the final result. To find the accurate probability estimates of multi-classes, this paper employs pair-wise comparison and error-correcting output codes frameworks. Prediction experiments on protein subcellular localization show significant performance improvement.
Computational generation method of elemental images for time-multiplexed 3D integral imaging display based on lens division

In this paper, we propose a computational generation method of elemental images for time-multiplexed 3D integral imaging display based lens division. In the proposed method, we analyze the image formation between 3D object and elemental images based on ray optics. Based on the analyzed formation, we generate the elemental image set for time-multiplexed display. Positions of an object point picked up in proposed method is shifted for half size of lens divided from those in conventional method when generating elemental images. To show the usefulness of the proposed method, we carry out the preliminary experiments and present the results.
A Study on Accuracy Improvements of Positioning System for Location-Based Service

Location-Based Services can be defined as services that integrated a mobile network device's position with other information so as to provide added value to users. One of the most important elements in the LBS is the ability to locate objects. In this paper, the positioning techniques using radio signal were introduced, and the positioning principles and accuracies for LBS of smart phone were analyzed. As a result, the some techniques for improving user security were suggested.
Developing for Embedded-based Multidimensional Location Information Data Extraction and Storage system

Lost fishing gears become a major cause of marine pollution, and many policy and technical efforts have been conducted for that. For efficient retrieving lost fishing gears in underwater, It is important to know the current position. Using GPS in the sub-sea environment is impossible and localization requires the use of special systems, and mobility due to water currents for underwater localization also has to be considered. In this paper, described with respect to the system for a self-generated location informations without using an external signal, such as a GPS and Sonar and storing them. Using the characteristics of the geomagnetic and INS principle, proposed informations and a way for estimating self position during movement. Embedded based system suggested and implemented in this study is tested for validating it's functionality.
