The personal cloud is a service which approaches the personal contents scattering to all terminals and online space at the personal information-oriented age in which the person's digital device including the Smart-phone, MID, PC, IPTV and etc, increases and the personal online service including the blog, E-mail, UCC, social network service and ect, rapidly increasing for the cloud computing regardless of the terminal anywhere independently and can provide the high vale added personalization service through the analysis of the contents and processing. The future of the personal cloud market is prospected through the service and technology which enhances the understanding about the cloud computing, that is the next generation IT paradigm which the world IT companies pay attention to, and is provided and business strategy analysis of the security and normalizing and related companies.
Web Accessibility Evaluation of Domestic Broadcasting System

The obligation of web accessibility in public center, education center, medical center and rehabilitation center started from 2009 has plan to adapt it to a corporation and culture and art until 2015 by stages. This study analysed in the aspect of statistics how well the domestic broadcasting system follows web accessibility which was evaluated by six automatic checking guidelines provided in KWA-H 4.3 automatic evaluation device. With Kruskal-Wallis' test result of nonparametric analysis, an item of basic language statement seemed to be highly followed(p=0.041) with broadcasting system> internet newspaper> the daily press> sports newspaper in order. An item of label offering was followed(p=0.015) with sports newspaper> broadcasting system> the daily press> internet newspaper in order.
Design and Fabrication of Wideband High Pass Filter Using Left-Handed Transmission Line

In this paper, the unit cell of LH structure using microstrip transmission line and chip capacitor is devised, and the reactive components of equivalent circuit are extracted from the proposed unit cell. And then, we have analyzed for the unit cell parameters and applied the characteristics to the wideband high pass filter design. This filter cascading several unit cells with high pass property has been implemented on microstrip transmission line, and the performance has been the band rejection characteristics of 62.9 dB in the stop band to 0~2.18 GHz and less than the insertion loss of 1.17 dB in the pass band from 3.0G Hz to 12.75 GHz.
Design and Manufacture of Modified Circular Ring antenna for WLAN/WiMAX Applications

In this paper, a dual-band circular ring monopole antenna with stub and ground slot for WLAN(Wireless Local Area Networks)/WiMAX(World interoperability for Microwave Access) applications. The proposed antenna is based on a planar monopole design, and composed of one circular ring of radiating patch, cross strip in circular ring, modified feed line, and two rectangular slot in the ground plane for triple-band operation. To obtain the optimized parameters, we used the simulator, Ansoft's High Frequency Structure Simulator(HFSS) and found the parameters that greatly effect antenna characteristics. Using the obtained parameters, the antenna is fabricated. The numerical and experiment results demonstrated that the proposed antenna satisfied the -10 dB impedance bandwidth requirement while simultaneously covering the WLAN and WiMAX bands. And characteristics of gain and radiation patterns are determined for WLAN/WiMAX application.
Appling of Force Control of the Robotic Sweeping Machine for Grinding

In this research, we describe a force feedback control for industrial robots has been proposed as a system which is suitable to work utilizing pressure sensitive alternative to human. Conventionally, polished surface of the workpiece are recognized, chamfer ridge, machining processes such as deburring, and it is most difficult to automate because of its complexity, has been largely dependent on the human. To aim to build automatic vacuum system robotic force control was gripping the grinding tool, the present study we examined the adaptability to the polishing process to understand the characteristics of the control system feedback signal obtained from the force sensor mainly. Furthermore, as a field, which holds the key to the commercialization, I went ahead with the application to robotic sweeping machine. As a result, the final sweeping utilizing a robot machine to obtain a very good grinded surface was revealed.
Architecture Design for Integration of Software RS and IM of Maritime DGPS Reference Station System

The DGPS reference station is a national infrastructure generating GPS correctional information and transmitting the signal for Differential GPS. Currently, Korea has applied and operated the software-based DGPS reference station as a standard of the next generation proposed by the USCG in order to improve the hardware-based DGPS reference system. However, software-based DGPS reference station proposed by USCG was changed in software method, only for form. There is no advantage to changing software-based because the most critical part of architecture has not been improved. In this paper, we have designed a new software-based marine DGPS station architecture that a reference station software and a monitor station were integrated. The new marine DGPS station architecture based on software is a more simplified structure than it used to be and can be utilized in the DGPS reference station.
A Study on the Uplink SDMA Systems: User Scheduling, Transmit Power Control, and Receive Beamforming

In this paper, we investigate the user scheduling, transmit beamforming, and receive beamforming of uplink space division multiple access (SDMA) systems where multiple users are allowed to transmit their signal to a base station (BS) using the same frequency band simultaneously. The BS performs a receive beamforming using the predetermined pseudo-random pattern and select users with a specific criterion. Especially, in this paper, we propose the threshold-based transmit power control, in which a user decrease its transmit power according if its generating interference to other users's signal is larger than a predetermined threshold. Assuming that the TDD system is used, the channel state information (CSI) can be obtained at each user from pilot signals from the BS. Simulation results show that the proposed technique significantly outperforms the existing user scheduling algorithms.
Performance Evaluation of OFDM Systems Dependent on Subcarrier Allocation Method

OFDM technique uses multiple sub-carriers for the data transmission. Therefore, inter carrier interference is generated because of nonlinear high power amplifier and carrier frequency offset. Wireless OFDM transmission over Doppler fading channels also causes inter carrier interference. The interference increases the bit error rate in receiver. Sub-carrier allocation methods in LTE and WiMAX standards are different. The performance of OFDM systems using different sub-carrier allocation, gauged by the bit error rate, is analyzed considering the nonlinear high power amplifier, carrier frequency offset and Doppler fading channels.
Improved Throughput Scaling of Large Ultra-Wide Band Ad Hoc Networks

We show improved throughput scaling laws for an ultra-wide band (UWB) ad hoc network, in which n wireless nodes are randomly located. Movement Monitoring System for Marine Buoy

Buoy has different motion characteristics depends on the sea weather situations. The motion characteristics has an impact on antenna, solar power generation system and etc. installed within a buoy. Therefore, it is important to analyse motion characteristics for management and analyse the buoy conditions. This paper's Buoy motion monitoring system uses gyro sensor to detect motions of a light buoy, and the measured data transfers to the PC on the shore using signal processing algorithm. The aim of this research is to develop monitoring and management mechanism of a buoy by applying motion monitoring system. In this paper, the operation characteristic of movement monitoring system is verified through experiment. Further, in this paper, it can apply such as real-time visibility into the status of the buoy or many ocean facility's motion estimation of the future.
A Study on Performance Improvement of Business Card Recognition in Mobile Environments

In this paper, as a way of performance improvement of business card recognition in the mobile environment, we suggested a hybrid OCR agent which combines data using a parallel processing sequence between various algorithms and different kinds of business card recognition engines which have learning data. We also suggested an Image Processing Method on mobile cameras which adapts to the changes of the lighting, exposing axis and the backgrounds of the cards which occur depending on the photographic conditions. In case a hybrid OCR agent is composed by the method suggested above, the average recognition rate of Korean business cards has improved from 90.69% to 95.5% compared to the cases where a single engine is used. By using the Image Processing Method, the image capacity has decreased to the average of 50%, and the recognition has improved from 83% to 92.48% showing 9.4% improvement.
Design of High Performance Multi-mode 2D Transform Block for HEVC

This paper proposes the hardware architecture of high performance multi-mode 2D forward transform for HEVC which has same number of cycles for processing any type of four TUs and yield high throughput. In order to make the original image which has high pixel and high resolution into highly compressed image effectively, the transform technique of HEVC supports 4 kinds of pixel units, TUs and it finds the optimal mode after performs each transform computation. As the proposed transform engine uses the common computation operator which is produced by analyzing the relationship among transform matrix coefficients, it can process every 4 kinds of TU mode matrix operation with 35cycles equally. The proposed transform block was designed by Verilog HDL and synthesized by using TSMC 0.18um CMOS processing technology. In this paper we analysis for in out signal by previous study and implement virtual master that generate CGH processor signals. Also, we propose memory address mapping. By constructing the system model of our method and by analyzing the latencies according to the memory access methods in a system including our model and several other models, the low-latency memory access method has been obtained. With the development of economy, people's self-interest about one's appearance has been increasing. Among them, especially interest of fashion in women's clothing market is increasing very. By increasing interest of women's appearance, requirements of various women's fashion marketing ways are increasing and the women's fashion market is expanding as much as it is. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the strategies for marketing activation in women's fashion after consideration of general women's fashion marketing strategies. Also, we build a web site to implement the strategies. Through the activation of the marketing strategies, marketing in a women's fashion market is expected to be competitive.
Clinical Specimen Printing System using RFID

Although the demand for histopathological examinations has been increasing, medical accidents in management of specimens also have been increasing because most of the examinations are processed manually which can cause careless handing, confusing information and mismatching during the procedure. In the future, histopatological examination will be used frequently for handing incurable diseases and verification of new drug. Thus, efficient and error-free management system for handling personalized medical history and test results is infallibly necessary. In this paper, I have proposed an integrated printing system for informatization of histopathological examination that support the u-Healthcare environment based on RFID in near future. The proposed system supports systematization of whole examination process and information of pathological samples. This system will contribute to reduction of costs, improvement of operational efficiency, and mostly fundamental prevention of medical accidents.

The development of information technology grows the society and allows the user to generate more information and the requirements. According to recent growing interest in digital convergence technologies, digital convergence can be utilized by a variety of methods as a new study. Electronic culture atlas would be digitized cultural information that represents a particular area on the map. In detail, spatial data like as point, line, and area can be used to represent the culture information. Using electronic culture atlas, also, it is possible to provide and utilize information which is associated with time, space(map) and subject(culture). Thus, electronic culture atlas could be used as a method for the humanities or area studies and spread research results by displaying on the culture atlas. In general, existing electronic culture atlas used bitmap image mostly as a base map. Using bitmap image, it is difficult to represent to provide three-dimensional information of specific area. Also, it happens problem such as breakage occurs during zoom-in operation. To solve this problems, we design and implement electronic culture atlas based on Google Earth which is three-dimensional map service.

The management and analysis of spatio-temporal and multimedia data is a hot issue in database research because such data types are handled in manny applications. Querying databases of such a content is very important for these applications. This paper addresses algorithms that make index structure by using Douglas-Peucker Algorithm and process range query efficiently on moving objects trajectories. We compare and analyze our algorithms and MBR by experiments. Our algorithms make smaller size of index structure and process more efficiently.
WhoAmI: Personal Information Sharing Application over WiFi and WiFi Direct

As people are taking part in more versatile social activities, it becomes more frequent and more important for people to share personal information each other in appropriate level. Unfortunately, although the rapid spread of smart devices and advance of network technologies have brought many applications for information sharing into our hands, they do not provide effective mechanism for sharing personal information on collocated people. In this paper, we introduce an android application named WhoAmI which provides the functionality of sharing personal information on nearby users over Wi-Fi Direct as well as Wi-Fi network environment. According to the predefined access level such as business, community or friend, WhoAmI naturally provides profile information to accessible users. In addition, the information such as music, photo, movie can be effectively shared through the application.
The User Information-based Mobile Recommendation Technique

As the use of mobile device is increasing rapidly, the number of users is also increasing. However, most of the app stores are using recommendation of simple ranking method, so the accuracy of recommendation is lower. To recommend an item that is more appropriate to the user, this paper proposes a technique that reflects the weight of user information and recent preference degree of item. The proposed technique classifies the data set by categories and then derives a predicted value by applying the user's information weight to the collaborative filtering technique. To reflect the recent preference degree of item by categories, the average of items' rating values in the designated period is computed. An item is recommended by combining the two result values. The experiment result indicated that the proposed method has been more enhanced the accuracy, appropriacy, compared to item-based, user-based method.

In recent years, the spread of computers is increasing, and efficient processing effort for unstructured Big Data is required. In this paper, we are proposed a system to extract the data typed in a word processor quickly by user creating and XML mapping file after converting XML data that has been entered in the office file(HWP, MS-office). In addition, we proposed a system is able to lookup the necessary data from a database by entered form in advance and convert word processor document to office files by the application program. The unstructured big data will be available to be used.
Effect of RF power on the Electrical, Optical, and Structural Properties of ITZO (In-Sn-Zn-O) Thin Films

In this study, we fabricated ITZO thin films on glass substrates with various RF power from 30 to 60W and investigated the electrical, optical and structural properties. ITZO thin film deposited at 50W exhibited the largest figure of merit (
) and then its resistivity and sheet resistance were
, respectively. As results of optical characterization, average transmittance of all ITZO thin films were over 80%. ITZO thin films had amorphous structure regardless of the RF power. The FESEM and AFM results showed that all ITZO thin films have a very smooth surface having no cracks and defects and the film deposited at 50W exhibit the smallest surface roughness of 0.254nm. We found that a amorphous ITZO thin film is a very promising material for replacing ITO in the next display device such as OLED.

There are increasing interests in COB (Chip On Board) that densely arranged many LED chips on one board in order to solve the heat issue. There are many problems being on the rise: the lifespan decreases as the temperature of LED devices increases; Red Shift phenomenon, in which wave length of spectral line moves from original wave length to long wave length, occurs; and optical power decreases as
increases. In order to resolve such problems, this study selected the optimum thickness and length of Fin, planned the second Heat sink that is optimum for COB LED with 15W, and analyzed thermal mode by Solid Works Flow Simulation through 15W COB packaging with the planned Heat sink. 15W COB down-light Heat sink that is produced based on this analysis was utilized to analyze thermal mode through contact thermometer and electrical properties through Kelthley 2430.
A CMOS Phase-Locked Loop with 51-Phase Output Clock

This paper proposes a charge-pump phase-locked loop (PLL) with 51-phase output clock of a 125 MHz target frequency. The proposed PLL uses three voltage controlled oscillators (VCOs) to generate 51-phase clock and increase of maximum operating frequency. The 17 delay-cells consists of each VCO, and a resistor averaging scheme which reduces the phase mismatch among 51-phase clock combines three VCOs. The proposed PLL uses a 65 nm 1-poly 9-metal CMOS process with 1.0 V supply. The simulated peak-to-peak 지터 of output clock is 0.82 ps at an operating frequency of 125 MHz. The differential non-linearity (DNL) and integral non-linearity (INL) of the 51-phase output clock are -0.013/+0.012 LSB and -0.033/+0.041 LSB, respectively. The operating frequency range is 15 to 210 MHz. The area and power consumption of the implemented PLL are

In this paper, we proposed a practical methodology of HFNS (high fanout net synthesis) to use buffer insertion which has been applied in the fields. First, we proposed consideration to execute HFNS and detail techniques for it. Next we proposed post-process method which is necessary to obtain success of HFNS. The buffer-insertion based method for HFNS is a kind of popular technique, but we targeted a practical and commercial aspect of HHNS.
Gate Oxide Dependent Subthreshold Current of Double Gate MOSFET

This paper analyzed the change of subthreshold current for gate oxide thickness of double gate(DG) MOSFET. Poisson's equation had been used to analyze the potential distribution in channel, and Gaussian function had been used as carrier distribution. The potential distribution was obtained as the analytical function of channel dimension, using the boundary condition. The subthreshold current had been analyzed for gate oxide thickness, and projected range and standard projected deviation of Gaussian function. Since this analytical potential model was verified in the previous papers, we used this model to analyze the subthreshold current. Resultly, analytical model showed that subthreshold current was influenced by parameters of Gaussian function and gate oxide thickness of DGMOSFET.
An Efficient Segmentation System for Cell Images By Classifying Distributions of Histogram

Cell segmentation which extracts cell objects from background is one of basic works in bio-imaging which analyze cell images acquired from live cells in cell culture. In the case of clear images, they have a bi-modal histogram distribution and segmentation of them can easily be performed by global threshold algorithm such as Otsu algorithm. But In the case of degraded images, it is difficult to get exact segmentation results. In this paper, we developed a cell segmentation system that it classify input images by the type of their histogram distribution and then apply a proper segmentation algorithm. If it has a bi-modal distribution, a global threshold algorithm is applied for segmentation. Otherwise it has a uni-modal distribution, our algorithm is performed. By experimentation, our system gave exact segmentation results for uni-modal cell images as well as bi-modal cell images.

The unmanned ship control system controls the unmanned ship at a distance in ocean. Expecially, in order to control the unmanned ship, it needs the wireless communication networks and we use the IEEE 802.11 based WLAN. The IEEE 802.11 based WLAN technology for supporting a wide bandwidth is suitable for unmanned ship control system which has to transmit the multimedia data. First, we design the system structure for controlling the unmanned ship. Then, in order to overcome the limited communication area, we design the network structure for the unmanned ship communication network which can use a various communication network. we implemented and evaluated the unmanned ship system based on WLAN. We controlled the unmanned ship by use the WLAN and confirmed the signal feature of WLAN in the ocean.
The extension of marine lantern protocol for Dual LED marine lantern control system

Dual LED lantern, which is composed of two light sources in one lantern, can be utilized as an auxiliary light source when the main light source is in trouble. Nevertheless, there are no way to obtain status information of the system and control the light source if the current domestic standard protocol is applied, since the standards for dual LED lantern are not defined yet. Regarding to this problem, we suggested expanded lantern protocol for management system of dual LED lantern based on current domestic standard. Also, we confirmed the normal operation of dual LED lantern after implementing suggested protocol on the developed management system. Control system suggested and implemented in this study is tested not only its function of controlling and acquiring the operating status of dual LED lantern, but also its capability to utilize as a control system of currently used LED lanterns.
A Low-Delay MAC(LD-MAC) protocol in Multi-Hop Wireless Sensor Networks

In Wireless Sensor Networks the Medium access control (MAC) protocol has many challenges to solve such as reducing energy consumption, supporting QoS(quality of service) fairness, and reducing delivery delay. This paper proposed a low-delay supporting MAC protocol in multi-hop Wireless Sensor Networks. The proposed protocol uses the RB(rapid beacon) frame for reducing delivery delay. The RB frame is a modified IEEE 802.15.4 beacon frame. For sender adaptive-wakeup, the RB frame includes a seed number for determining of a receiver wakeup time. And for next hop receiver adaptive-wakeup, the RB frame includes the length of remaining data packet information. Results showed that our LD-MAC protocol outperformed other protocol in terms of data packet delivery delay.
Channel Aware Reliable Routing Protocol in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks

Recently, multimedia data transmission becomes important issues in the wireless sensor network. For the multimedia data transmission in wireless sensor network, QoS (Quality of service) is an important factor to determine the system performance. AODV algorithm is one of the widely used algorithm for wireless ad-hoc environment. In AODV, the destination node selects the route with the smallest hop count. Since AODV only considers the hop count, the selected route could have low channel condition, and degrade QoS. In this paper, we propose a modified AODV algorithm that considers the successful transmission rate of each link. The proposed algorithm regards the number of retransmission which can be obtained from the successful transmission rate as the hop count, and applies the modified hop count to AODV. The advantage of the proposed algorithm is that the modified AODV can support QoS without significant change of the conventional algorithm.
Design and implementation of low-power tracking device based on IEEE 802.11

According to wireless network technology and mobile processors performance were improved, the small wireless mobile device such as smart phones has been widely utilized. The mobile devices can be used GPS information, thereby the services based on location information was increased. GPS was impossible to provide location information in indoor and signal shading environment, and the tracking systems based on short distance wireless communication are required infrastructure. The IEEE 802.11 based tracking system is possible estimation using APs, however the tracking device is exhausted battery power seriously. In this paper, we propose IEEE 802.11 based low-power tracking system. We reduced power consumption from channel scanning and network connection. For performance evaluation, we designed and implemented the tracking tag device, and measured power consumption of the device. As the simulation result, we confirmed that the power consumption was reduced 46% compare to the standard execution.
A Study on Image Restoration Filter in Impulse Noise Environments

As the society develops to advanced digital information times, many studies are underway about digital video processing technology areas such as image restoration. There are typical methods to restore the image which have been damaged by the impulse noise like SM(standard median) filter and CWM(center weighted median) filter. These filters show excellent noise reduction capabilities in low noise density areas, but in high noise density areas, noise reduction capabilities are not sufficient. In this paper, in order to restore the degraded images in impulse(Salt & Pepper) noise environment, the image restoration filter algorithm was suggested which expands and subdivide the mask focusing on damaged pixels. And to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm used PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio) as the standard of judgement.
Study on PPARγ-dependent adipogenesis regulation by testosterone using transient transfection assays

This study is to investigate the effects of testosterone on adipogenesis and its molecular mechanism using RT-PCR analysis and transient transfection assays. Castrated(CAST) mice treated with testosterone had lower white adipose tissue weights and expression of adipocyte-specific genes(
and aP2) than CAST control mice. Consistent with the in vivo data, testosterone treatment inhibited triglyceride accumulation and expression of adipocyte-specific genes(
and aP2) in differentiated 3T3-L1 cells compared with control group. Testosterone-activated androgen receptor(AR) repressed the luciferase reporter gene activity induced by
transfection. Thus, these results suggest that testosterone downregulates the actions of
on adipogenesis through AR.

The national defense electronic procurement system is an information system supporting DAPA, services (Army, Navy and Air Force), and the procurement companies in the electronic bidding. It has contributed greatly to improving the efficiency of the national defense electronic procurement process by providing various information services based on inter-operation among the related parties. However the national defense electronic procurement system is expected to be upgraded to the next version in accord with rapidly evolving infrastructure based on high technology and increasing various communication channels. This paper investigates the satisfaction level of the system users and proposes directions for the next-generation procurement portal.
