An Analysis of Economic Ripple Effect on the Knowledge Service Industry

In this study, we have measured the effects on production inducement, added value inducement, employment inducement and backward and forward linkage regarding the knowledge service industry in Korea. It turns out that the knowledge service industry greatly contributes to increase of added value and employment creation while highly withholds to effect on production inducement and backward and forward linkage effects. In recent, government seeks out new growth driver out of the knowledge service industry. We have found the fact that its direction should be 'production growth of the knowledge service industry' through this study.
A Study on Digital Forensic Human Training Method

A number of universities around the world provide various undergraduate and graduate programs for digital forensic. In this paper, we propose a cross-layer program suitable for senior students in the IT and law departments to learn multi-disciplinary convergence subjects. We have first analyzed the key ingredients of digital forensic and then the current programs in several universities. After describing the qualifications anticipated for digital forensic specialists, we have critically analyzed the courses currently offered in the IT and law departments. Based on the analysis and discussions, we have proposed an IT+law program and two flexible operation schemes of the program for securing the desired level of convergence education.
An Efficient Identification Algorithm in a Low SNR Channel

Identification of communication channels is a problem of important current theoretical and practical concerns. Recently proposed solutions for this problem exploit the diversity induced by antenna array or time oversampling. The method resorts to an adaptive filter with a linear constraint. In this paper, an approach is proposed that is based on decomposition. Indeed, the eigenvector corresponding to the minimum eigenvalue of the covariance matrix of the received signals contains the channel impulse response. And we present an adaptive algorithm to solve this problem. Proposed technique shows the better performance than one of existing algorithms.
Modeling and Design of Medium-wave DGPS Monopole Antenna

The experimental design method based-on the measured data in the several LF monopole antenna was used in MF monopole antenna design. The design technique is also utilized in MF DGPS antenna design. It is not possible to predict the antenna performance of the MF short-monopole antenna because of simple experimental antenna design. Furthermore, it is difficult to design and analyze the various wired short-monopole antenna. The antenna models for performance analysis of the DGPS antenna with the various wired short-monopole structure are proposed in this paper. Based on the proposed antenna models, also, the antenna performance and design data of the wired short-monopole antennas are presented. To evaluate the validity of the analyzed antenna models, the wired short-monopole antenna for 100 kHz are modeled and analyzed. The antenna performance of the wired short-monopole antenna are compared with those of the previously presented LF antenna performance. Based on the evaluation for proposed antenna analyzing models, the DGPS wired short-monopole antennas are modeled and analyzed.
A Study on Characteristics of Series-Fed Dipole Pair Antenna with End-Aligned Strip Pair Director

In this paper, the characteristics of a series-fed dipole pair antenna with an end-aligned strip pair director are studied. In the proposed SDP antenna, two strip dipole antennas with different lengths and a ground reflector are connected trough a coplanar stripline. The strip pair director placed above the second dipole element are two rectangular-shaped strips and is aligned at the ends of the two arms of the second dipole. The variations on the antenna performance for different lengths and widths of the director are analyzed, and optimal design parameters for the enhancement of the bandwidth are obtained. The optimized SDP antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate, and the experimental results show that the antenna has a frequency band of 1.65-2.95 GHz for a VSWR < 2, which shows enhanced bandwidth compared to the conventional SDP antenna.
Design of Dual-band Monopole Antenna for WLAN and UWB Applications

In this paper, a design method for a dual-band monopole antenna operating in the bands of 2.45 GHz WLAN and UWB is studied. A monopole antenna operating in UWB band is first designed, and a slot is inserted on the monopole to operate in 2.45 GHz WLAN band. The optimized dual-band monopole antenna is fabricated on an FR4 substrate, and the experimental results show that the antenna has a dual-band characterisitc in WLAN and UWB bands with the frequency bands of 2.35-2.50 GHz and 2.99-11.82 GHz for a VSWR < 2. Measured gain is 1 dBi at 2.45 GHz, and ranges 1.5-4.6 dBi in the frequency band of 3.1-10.6 GHz.
Optimal Control using Neural Networks for Brachistochrone Problem

The solution of brachistochrone problem turned out the form of a cycloid but correct angle values of bead can be obtained from the table form of inverse relations for the complicated nonlinear equations. To enhance the accuracy, this paper employs the neural network to represent the inverse relation of the complicated nonlinear equations. The accurate minimum-time control is possible with the interpolation property of the neural network. For various final target points, we have found that the proposed method is superior to the conventional ones through the computer simulations.
PVC Classification based on QRS Pattern using QS Interval and R Wave Amplitude

Previous works for detecting arrhythmia have mostly used nonlinear method such as artificial neural network, fuzzy theory, support vector machine to increase classification accuracy. Most methods require accurate detection of P-QRS-T point, higher computational cost and larger processing time. Even if some methods have the advantage in low complexity, but they generally suffer form low sensitivity. Also, it is difficult to detect PVC accurately because of the various QRS pattern by person's individual difference. Therefore it is necessary to design an efficient algorithm that classifies PVC based on QRS pattern in realtime and decreases computational cost by extracting minimal feature. In this paper, we propose PVC classification based on QRS pattern using QS interval and R wave amplitude. For this purpose, we detected R wave, RR interval, QRS pattern from noise-free ECG signal through the preprocessing method. Also, we classified PVC in realtime through QS interval and R wave amplitude. The performance of R wave detection, PVC classification is evaluated by using 9 record of MIT-BIH arrhythmia database that included over 30 PVC. The achieved scores indicate the average of 99.02% in R wave detection and the rate of 93.72% in PVC classification.

Recently the use router is to allow multiple computers by one IP can be connect to the Internet. Also, the PC or server in order to use a Web server or a print server, Web Hard, P2P should be settings. In this paper, we are building a multi-functional Web server that using a router supported OpenWRT based on network settings and firewall settings and a variety of services. A web server can be provided the Internet phone and secure multimedia service Web server router based OpenWRT may be provided through a mobile app and the PC application service.
Performance Evaluation of WUSB over WBAN Communication Structure for Wireless Wearable Computers

A recent major development in computer technology is the advent of the wearable computer system that is based on human-centric interface technology trends and ubiquitous computing environments. Wearable computer systems can use the wireless universal serial bus (WUSB) that refers to USB technology that is merged with WiMedia PHY/MAC technical specifications. In this paper, we focus on an integrated system of the wireless USB over the wireless body area networks (WBAN) for wireless wearable computer systems supporting U-health services. To construct the WUSB over WBAN communication systems, we propose a WBAN beaconing structure to assign WUSB communication periods. In the proposed structure, WUSB uses private periods of WBAN. In our performance evaluations, we compare theoretical results and simulation results about throughputs of WUSB under various WBAN channel occupations to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed structure in WUSB over WBAN communications.
A Meta-analysis and Review of External Factors based on the Technology Acceptance Model : Focusing on the Journals Related to Smartphone in Korea

A Meta-analysis refers to a statistical literature synthesis method from the quantitative results of many known empirical studies. We conducted a meta-analysis and review of external factors based on the technology acceptance model for Smartphone-related researches. This study surveyed 106 research papers that established causal relationships in the technology acceptance model published in Korean academic journals during 2008 and 2013. The result of the meta-analysis might be summarized that the playfulness has the highest effect size in the path from external factors to the perceived usefulness, with the effect size(0.536). Also the self efficacy showed the highest effect size(0.626) in the path from external factors to the perceived ease of use. Based on these findings, several theoretical and practical implications were suggested and discussed with the difference from previous researches.

Currently, aircraft and automobile simulator for training provides a variety of training by making hypothetical situation on a simulator installed on the ground currently. And the instructor maximizes the effectiveness of the training by monitoring training and instructing the required training. When trainees are boarding the aircraft or automobile. The Instructor in the ground is not able to monitoring aircraft, automobile. The assessment of the training is not easy after the end of the training. Therefore, it is difficult to provide high quality of education to the students. In this paper, simulation system is to develop the following. Collecting GPS and real-time information for aircraft, automobile
implementing 3D simulation. Implementing current image of the aircraft or automobile in the screen by 3D real-time monitoring of training situation at the control center utilizing for training saving 3D video files analysis, evaluation on training after the end of the training.

Two layered Secure Password Generation with Random Number Generator

Rapid development of internet service is enabling internet banking services in anywhere and anytime. However, service access through internet can be exposed to adversary easily. To prevent, current service providers execute authentication process with user's identification and password. However, majority of users use short and simple password and do not periodically change their password. As a result of this, user's password could be exposed to attacker's brute force attack. In this paper, we presented enhanced password system which guarantee higher security even though users do not change their current password. The method uses additional secret information to replace real password periodically without replacement of real password.
LDPC Decoder for WiMAX/WLAN using Improved Normalized Min-Sum Algorithm

A hardware design of LDPC decoder which is based on the improved normalized min-sum(INMS) decoding algorithm is described in this paper. The designed LDPC decoder supports 19 block lengths(576~2304) and 6 code rates(1/2, 2/3A, 2/3B, 3/4A, 3/4B, 5/6) of IEEE 802.16e mobile WiMAX standard and 3 block lengths(648, 1296, 1944) and 4 code rates(1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6) of IEEE 802.11n WLAN standard. The decoding function unit(DFU) which is a main arithmetic block is implemented using sign-magnitude(SM) arithmetic and INMS decoding algorithm to optimize hardware complexity and decoding performance. The LDPC decoder synthesized using a 0.18-
CMOS cell library with 100 MHz clock has 284,409 gates and RAM of 62,976 bits, and it is verified by FPGA implementation. The estimated performance depending on code rate and block length is about 82~218 Mbps at 100 MHz@1.8V.
Analysis for Gate Oxide Dependent Subthreshold Swing of Asymmetric Double Gate MOSFET

This paper has presented the change of subthreshold swings for gate oxide thickness of asymmetric double gate(DG) MOSFET, and solved Poisson equation to obtain the analytical solution of potential distribution. The Gaussian function as doping distribution is used to approch experimental results. The symmetric DGMOSFET is three terminal device. Meanwhile the asymmetric DGMOSFET is four terminal device and can separately determine the bias voltage and oxide thickness for top and bottom gates. As a result to observe the subthreshold swings for the change of top and bottom gate oxide thickness, we know the subthreshold swings are greatly changed for gate oxide thickness. Especially we know the subthreshold swings are increasing with the increase of top and bottom gate oxide thickness, and top gate oxide thickness greatly influences subthreshold swings.
A Method of Estimating Distortion in Pixel-Domain Wyner-Ziv Residual Video Coding

The DVC (Distributed Video Coding) provides a theoretical basis for the implementation of light video encoder. Conventionally, lots of studies have been focused on the codec scheme of Stanford University that has a feedback channel to control the bit rate finely. However, the codec scheme can not evaluate the qualities of the frames reconstructed by the received parity bits at the decoder side. This paper presents an efficient method of estimating distortion by correcting the virtual channel noises in side information and then facilitating the measurements of the visual qualities. Through several simulations, it is shown that the proposed method is very efficient in estimating the visual qualities of the reconstructed WZ frames.
A Study on the Analysis System of Customer Satisfaction Survey

In order for corporations and institutions to perform efficient management, they first have to infer what factors customers seek for, then continuously strive to provide them with better service. The most important element to provide better service is accurate feedback from customers; however, Korea lacks of standardized system for measuring customer satisfaction. This study suggests the analysis system for survey, which evaluates customer satisfaction efficiently. The system sets up measuring factor for each service quality, and makes it possible to perform methodically. Especially, the system introduces scoring scheme so that it evaluates quality of service or unit service and prioritizes factors those need to be improved. Furthermore, the survey is operated via mobile and online system, which can be analyzed in real time, and lets foreigners use in their own languages. Through applying the analysis system of customer satisfaction survey to students who participated in work-study program, it substantiates the effectiveness of this system.
Geometric Path Tracking for a Fish Robot

The study of fish robot is a main subject that are related with the propulsive force comparison using a varying amplitude and frequency for body and tail motion trajectory, and the quick turn using a proper trajectory function. In this study, when a fish robot thrusts forward, feedback control is difficult to apply for a fish robot, because body and tail joints as a sine wave are rolled. Therefore, we detect the virtual position based on the path of the fish robot, define the angle errors using the detected position and the look-ahead point on the given path, and design a controller to track given path. We have found that the proposed method is useful through the computer simulations.
A Study on the Optimum Method Selection Using Matrix Analysis

This study regards to a method how to select the optimized earth retaining technology among four target technologies which are applied to underground construction work by analyzing relative weight values of major influence factors. In this study, major affected zone and influence factors are analyzed through questionnaire survey to select a suitable earth retaining technology for downtown area, and an optimized earth retaining technology is proposed by using the matrix analysis based on them. Also, by systematically analyzing the weight values and methods of alternatives selection through consideration the importance of alternatives evaluation criteria, the importance of affected zones is evaluated to determine the optimized alternative. It is concluded that when performing the analysis to select the earth retaining technology which should consider a variety of constraints, the convergence with information processing technology in the field of IT is effective to analyze and optimize many constraints.
A Study on the Displacement Prediction Method using the Inverse Analysis Algorithm

In this study, we applieorithmd the inverse analysis alg to the prediction of displacement shape in the example construction and verified the feasibility of suggested algorithm. For this purpose, as information processing knowledge in the field of IT is required and the need for convergence with the major is emerged, it is intended to try to apply the algorithm to the construction sector. Prediction of displacement shape is very important since it is related to the earth pressure of slurry wall and effecting on the safety of slurry wall after anchor removal. 3 levels of inverse analysis were applied to the slurry walls in 3 sites and compared the measured displacement shape with predicted displacement shape of the last excavation construction. As the predicted displacement shape was matched well with the measured one, the applied analysis algorithm in this study can be applied to the excavation construction.
Research on SPMS for Pulsating Load based on Communication Network

Ship Power Management System(SPMS) based on Communication Network(CN) is one of the most significant factor for a safe voyage. Therefore, most of the vessels are using greater capacity generator than necessary to prevent pulsating load for safety purposes. However, It provokes low-load damage and reduces generator efficiency that using large capacity generator. Accordingly, in this paper propose hybrid power system for prevent damage of pulse load. Simulation using NI's LabVIEW was conducted for the design of the power system based on actual navigation data of the ship. Also, propose applying methods for hybrid power system in connection with the auxiliary power system for safe navigation.
Design and Implementation of Job Training Management System by Considering Multi-Devices

Recently, the emergence of a variety of devices to be able to access web have brought many technological changes in the field of web development. However some web sites are still operating with a focus on computers, especially exclusive and slow developing job training related web sites which utilize a User Interface that targets only PCs. In this paper, we propose the job training management system which has a menu configuration and functions to be applied to a variety of devices, and also an applicable technologies for training students to access more easily. Finally, we evaluated its efficiency by applying the implemented system in the actual field.
An Analysis on the Status and Degree of Recognition for Smart Phone Syndrome of Undergraduate Students

As smart phone became popular, a word smart phone syndrome is also commonly used among us. Its excessive uses cause adverse effects on daily lives such as mental and physical health education and individual relationships. This paper targeted to undergraduate students who are mostly using smart phones to analyze on their perception of smart phone syndrome and a reality of typical syndrome such as digital forgetfulness, smart phone addiction and dependence on Kakaotalk. It also suggested basic countermeasures for preventing smart phone syndrome. The perception on smart phone syndrome of undergraduate students using over the average 5 hours a day was resulted to be very low, and it is analyzed smart phone syndrome including digital forgetfulness, smart phone addiction and dependence on Kakaotalk is quite serious, so that proper countermeasures and the actions are required.
A Study on Image Restoration Filter in AWGN Environments

Recently, with the development of hardware and software technology related with image information delivery, the demand for various multimedia service has increased. But, the process of treating, sending, and storing image signals generates image degradation by various external causes. The main cause of image degradation is noise. image is mostly damaged by AWGN (additive white Gaussian noise). Therefore, there have been active researches on noise elimination. This paper, to reduce the effects of AWGN added to the image, suggests a noise-eliminating algorithm which is excellent in low-frequency and high-frequency characteristics in space. And, this paper, through simulation techniques, compared the result of the suggested algorithm with those of the existing methods. And, to evaluate the performance of it, PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio) was used.
The Influence of the Service Quality on the Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention in Chinese Internet Shopping Mall

This study analyzes the influence of the service quality of Chinese internet shopping mall on the customer satisfaction. This study also analyzes the influence of the customer satisfaction on the repurchase intention. Then this study examines whether there is a difference among the influences of the service quality on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' traits. As a result, when it comes to the service quality, responsiveness and empathy influence customer satisfaction and the customer satisfaction influences repurchase intention similarly. And this research reveals that the service quality can differently influence on the customer satisfaction depending on the types of shopping mall and the users' gender and ages. And then the implication in accordance with analyses result is mentioned.

A Comparative Study on the Location of grade 1,2,3 Automotive Repair Shops

This study helps to select the criteria for the location automotive repair shops and suggests the optimum location. The weights representing relative importance of each criterion were calculated by using AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). Actually most of the location of automotive repair shops have been selected depending on decision makers' experience though very high initial costs are incurred. Also while studies have been done on the location of the smaller shops whose initial costs are low and service activities are simple, studies and cases on the location of automotive repair shop were not done and found before. This study helps to draw the weights of the criteria for the location of each one of grade 1, 2, 3 repair shop and compare and analyze them. As a result, it is found out that there is some differences between factors significantly considered when selecting the location of each repair shop. This study has significance of suggesting scientific methods to reduce risk in the decision making related to location of repair shop.
Design of Motion Artifacts Filter of PPG Signal based on Kalman filter and Adaptive filter

The PPG signal used in mobile-healthcare and telemedicine system is including the various motion artifact that is signal generated from patient's movements. Recently, although the various methods to remove motion artifacts have been suggested, the performances of these methods are still not satisfactory. Therefore, this s study suggested the novel method based on the Kalman filter and adaptive filter to remove motion artifacts, and we used various motion artifacts to analyze the performance of the proposed method. In the results of experiments, the signal-to-noise ratio of proposed method showed good performace that was 4.8 times of moving average filter.
A Performance Comparison of Multi-Label Classification Methods for Protein Subcellular Localization Prediction

This paper presents an extensive experimental comparison of a variety of multi-label learning methods for the accurate prediction of subcellular localization of proteins which simultaneously exist at multiple subcellular locations. We compared several methods from three categories of multi-label classification algorithms: algorithm adaptation, problem transformation, and meta learning. Experimental results are analyzed using 12 multi-label evaluation measures to assess the behavior of the methods from a variety of view-points. We also use a new summarization measure to find the best performing method. Experimental results show that the best performing methods are power-set method pruning a infrequently occurring subsets of labels and classifier chains modeling relevant labels with an additional feature. futhermore, ensembles of many classifiers of these methods enhance the performance further. The recommendation from this study is that the correlation of subcellular locations is an effective clue for classification, this is because the subcellular locations of proteins performing certain biological function are not independent but correlated.

This study focuses on the fact that a OTT service is vigorously used for smart phones, and suggests a design of method to trace the experiences of watching television contents. For this purpose, we developed logging functions and embedded them into existing OTT service application to record flow and pattern of watching context. This paper suggests a log file format which can accurately and precisely record watching actions of users per-second methodology rather than former per-minute methodology. Moreover, this study shows that the application can trace watching attitude according to occurring events by characteristics and playing modes of realtime broadcasting, VOD, advertisement contents. In addition, based on the result of the study, this paper discusses educational, operational meaning of the method such as methodological application in mobile ethnography field or survey for total screening rate.

This study investigates the basic elements of film acting based on Lee Strasberg's emotional memory. Acting in Korean film and TV drama often meets difficult circumstances. Therefore, I strongly suggest Lee Strasberg' American Method to film actors and students. This method refers to affective memory that Lee Strasberg devised for film acting at the Actors Studio. Another main point of this method is to overcome difficulties created from the camera use and shooting process. It is evident practicing affective memory would help actors perform better in their field.
