This paper describes a research for improvement official approval of information processing in national technical qualification. In this paper, we analysis the contents of current exams and propose the new evaluation method of practical exam in information processing fields through grafting new trends of ICT and ability unit, fulfillment criteria in national competency standards(NCS). Also, we have verified the effect of exam through the pilot test. In the future, we will apply the new exams after the revision of guidelines for marking questions by expert group in its duty fields basis on this research
Design of a Multi Dielectric Coating against Non-invaisive Attack

In general, IC chip circuit which is operating a cryptographic computation tends to radiate stronger electromagnetic signal to the outside. By using a power detecter such as a loop antenna near cryptographic device, the encryption key can be identified by probing a electromagnetic signal. To implement a method against non-invasive type attack, multi dielectric slab structure on IC chip to suppress radiated electromagnetic signal was introduced. Multiple dielectric slab was implemented by suitably configured to have the Bragg reflection characteristics, and then the reflection response was computed and verified its effectiveness. As a result, the thickness of the dielectric coating was 2mm and the reflection response characteristics for the vertical incidence was achieved to be 91% level.
A Study on Analysis of Target Characteristics Using Electromagnetic Waves

Electromagnetic wave signals radiated from an antenna are reflected by targets and received through the same antenna. These received signals show different characteristics according to various target materials having different dielectric constants. Therefore, target characteristics can be recognized if we can utilize these return signals efficiently. this method can be applied for discrimination and classification of hazardous materials. In this paper, utilizing these experimentally obtained signals, correlation characteristics are obtained and analyzed for classification and discrimination purposes. Although the correlation method requires the storage of reference signals, it shows very promising results. this correlation method can be applied for classification and discrimination of hazardous materials.
Extracting Ganglion Cysts from Ultrasound Image with Fuzzy Membership Function

Ganglion cysts are commonly observed cystic tumor in association with the joints and tendons of the appendicular skeleton. In this paper we propose a method to extract ganglion cysts from ultrasound images with intelligent image processing. The method consists of fuzzy stretching preprocessing to enhance the contrast between related organs and 8-directional contour tracking to model the boundaries of the cysts and labelling procedure to compute the size of cysts. In experiment, we verified that the proposed method extracts ganglion cysts accurately from ultrasound images.

This paper is to automate the intelligent and equipment to recycle the volatile organic compounds in various a gas stations and a laundry, in real life. In addition, based the ZigBee module and TCP/IP communications on ICT technologies, it`s propose an integrated management system to monitor and manage an liquid at a remote location.Furthermore, it`s propose a service model that can be freely managed from a remote location based on the app on android. In this paper, we present a communication protocol of the bridge modules and a liquefier of intelligent control system based ZigBee and MCU(Micro Controller Unit). Through the development of smart app based android mobile services in an integrated management system, it`s represent for liquefier to a DB server for remote management(MS SQL 2012) and a web server (OS: Windows 2008).
An Adaptive Cell Selection Scheme for Ultra Dense Heterogeneous Mobile Communication Networks

As smart-phones become popular, mobile data traffic has been dramatically increasing and intensive researches on the next-generation mobile communication network is in progress to meet the increasing demand for mobile data traffic. In particular, heterogeneous network (HetNet) is attracting much interest because it can significantly enhance the network capacity by increasing the spatial reuse with macro and small cells. In the HetNet, we have several problems such as load imbalance and interference because of the difference in transmit power between macro and small cells and cell range expansion (CRE) can mitigate the problems. In this paper, we propose a new cell selection scheme with adaptive cell range expansion bias (CREB) for ultra dense HetNet and we analyze the performance of the proposed scheme in terms of average cell transmission rate through system-level simulations and compare it with those of other schemes.
A User Detection Technique Based on Parallel Orthogonal Matching Pursuit for Large-Scale Random Access Networks

In this paper, we propose a user detection technique based on parallel orthogonal matching pursuit (POMP) for uplink multi-user random access networks (RANs) with a number of users and receiver antennas. In general RANs, it is difficult to estimate the number of users simultaneously transmitting packets at the receiver because users with data send the data without grant of BS. In this paper, therefore, we modify the original POMP for the RAN and evaluate its performances through extensive computer simulations. Simulation results show that the proposed POMP can effectively detect activated users more than about 2%~8% compared with the conventional OMP in RANs.

The amount of smart phones has increased exponentially. Due to the periodic release of high-performance smart phones and upgraded operating system, new smart phones become out-dated over 1 or 2 years. In order to solve environmental constraints of these smart phones, virtualization technology using Thin-Client terminal has been developed. However, in the case of Virtual Machine(VM), the applications associated with sensors and a GPS device can not run because they are not included. In this paper, by implementing the device driver for Android running in a virtual machine in the x86-based systems, it is to provide Android virtualization capabilities such as using the latest smart phones in the virtual machine environment. It would like to propose a method that the virtual device driver receives sensors and GPS information from the old Android smart phones(Thin-Client) that actually work and run as if the real device exists.

In this paper, we studied several aspects that affect the quality of VoIP using WiFi network. It`s clear that the background data traffic within an AP, the end-to-end delay and the traffic loss of TCP/IP network gives serious effects on the voice quality. A kind of access control for the VoIP connection within an AP should be done for the acceptable voice quality.
Variable Backoff Stage(VBS) Algorithm to Reduce Collisions in IEEE 802.11 DCF

IEEE 802.11 MAC(Media Access Control) defines DCF(Distributed Coordination Function) for data transmission control. BEB(Binary Exponential Backoff) algorithm of DCF has a problem that if the number of stations connected are over a certain threshold, it degrades network performance because of packet collisions caused from the minimum contention window size. To cope with this problem, we proposed a novel algorithm, named as VBS(Variable Backoff Stage) algorithm, which adjusts the rate of backoff stage increment depending on the number of stations associated with an AP(Access Point). Analytic model of proposed algorithm was derived and simulations on the BEB and the VBS algorithms have been conducted on the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) method. Simulation results showed that when the rate of backoff state increment was 5 and 10, the number of retransmission were reduced to 1/5 and 1/10 comparing to that of BEB, respectively. Our algorithm showed improvement of 19% and 18% in network utilization, respectively. Packet delay was reduced into 1/12.

Smartphone users, opinion experts more than 99 percent of the economically active population is using, it has reached the saturation past the early stages of formation. In this research, we aim to analyze factors influencing of the multimedia function on continue using intention of Smartphone. Predictor factors were selected perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived enjoyment suggested on extended the technology acceptance model. Participants of this study were 106 Smartphone users in Busan city and Jeonbuk province in accordance with convenience sampling. IBM SPSS Statistics 19 were employed for descriptive statistics, Smart PLS(partial least squares) was employed for confirmatory factor analysis and path analysis of casual relationship among variables and effect. Analytical results show that all paths from perceived value to continue using intention are significant. This study suggests practical and theoretical implications based on the results.

Digital Signage is a service which displays a variety of information or advertizement on digital display connected with communication network in commercial or public places. In this paper, We present a digital signage software solution named Xibo4u providing personalized advertisement. Xibo4u is composed of a server managing category and contents of advertisement, digital displays showing advertisement based on the categories specific to customers, and a smartphone application which enables customers to designate their favorite categories of advertisement. Xibo4u is developed by extending the Xibo open source software.

Recently, There is increasing interest in the IoT(Internet of Thing) as intelligent information service that enables communication between people and things based on internet. In particular the demand for indoor location-based services with the development of smart devices is rapidly increasing. Using the RSSI signal that is provide to the BLE(Bluetooth Low Energy) for Indoor location information measurement calculates distance information between beacon and mobile terminal. However, simply using the RSSI signal to the distance measurement has a difficult to get the indoor location information due to the influence of the signal interference and the weather. In this paper, by performing an operation for obtaining a reliable distance information from the signal information of iBeacon we propose a system for providing reliable indoor location.
A Study on Feature Extraction and Response Technology of Zombie Smartphone

Malicious network attacks such as DDoS has no clear measures, the damage is also enormous. In particular, in addition to a network failure, such as leakage of personal information and damage of the communication charge in the case of zombie smartphone is infected, is expected damages of various users. In this study, we extract the zombie smartphone`s phenomena and features that appear while the zombie service is running and introduce a corresponding technique to prevent zombie smartphone.
Relationship Between Tweet Frequency and User Velocity on Twitter

Recently, the importance of users` geographic location information has been highlighted with a rapid increase of online social network services. In this paper, by utilizing geo-tagged tweets that provides high-precision location information of users, we first identify both Twitter users` exact location and the corresponding timestamp when the tweet was sent. Then, we analyze a relationship between the tweet frequency and the average user velocity. Specifically, we introduce a tweet-frequency computing algorithm, and show analysis results by country and by city. As a main result, it is shown that the tweet frequency according to user velocity follows a power-law distribution (i.e., Zipf` distribution or a Pareto distribution). In addition, by performing a comparison between the United States and Japan, one can see that the exponent of the distribution in Japan is smaller than that in the United States.

SCS(Social Curation Service) is a service system to help sale and consumption with intelligent information about consumer`s favor which is got from the combination of social service and internet shopping mall. This paper develops and analyzes some algorithms for catching the customer`s preference tendency in SCS system. The developed algorithms are implemented to verify it`s efficiency.
Effects of Working Pressure on the Electrical and Optical Properties of GZO Thin Films Deposited on PES Substrate

In this study, the electrical and optical properties of GZO (Ga-doped ZnO) thin films prepared on PES substrates by RF magnetron sputtering method with various working pressures (5 to 20 mTorr) were investigated. All GZO thin films exhibited c-axis preferential growth regardless of working pressure, the GZO thin film deposited at 5 mTorr showed the most excellent crystallinity having 0.44˚ of FWHM. In AFM observations, surface roughness exhibited the lowest value of 0.20 nm in a thin film produced by the working pressure 5 mTorr. Figure of merits of GZO thin film deposited at 5 mTorr showed the highest value of 6652, in this case resistivity and average transmittance in the visible light region were 6.93×10
Ω-cm and 81.4%, respectively. We could observed the Burstein-Moss effect that carrier concentration decrease with the increase of working pressure and thus the energy band gap is narrowed.
Dependence of Drain Induced Barrier Lowering for Ratio of Channel Length vs. Thickness of Asymmetric Double Gate MOSFET

This paper analyzed the phenomenon of drain induced barrier lowering(DIBL) for the ratio of channel length vs. thickness of asymmetric double gate(DG) MOSFET. DIBL, the important secondary effect, is occurred for short channel MOSFET in which drain voltage influences on potential barrier height of source, and significantly affects on transistor characteristics such as threshold voltage movement. The series potential distribution is derived from Poisson`s equation to analyze DIBL, and threshold voltage is defined by top gate voltage of asymmetric DGMOSFET in case the off current is 10
A/m. Since asymmetric DGMOSFET has the advantage that channel length and channel thickness can significantly minimize, and short channel effects reduce, DIBL is investigated for the ratio of channel length vs. thickness in this study. As a results, DIBL is greatly influenced by the ratio of channel length vs. thickness. We also know DIBL is greatly changed for bottom gate voltage, top/bottom gate oxide thickness and channel doping concentration.
A design of radiation hardened common signal processing module for sensors in NPP

In this study we designed the radiation-hardened sensor signal processing modules that can be commonly used for a variety of sensors during normal operation and even in high-radiation environments caused by an accident. First development module was designed to receive the change of the R and C value from the sensors and to process the signal as a PWM modulation scheme. This module was assessed to have ± 10% error to the Full-Scale in the radiation test in the range of 12 kGy TID. The main cause of the error was analyzed as the annealing of the common circuit in the switching element and the consequent increase in the duty ratio of the pulse width modulation circuit according to the radiation dose increasement. The redesigned module for higher radiation resistivity with Stub transistor circuit was found to have less than 5% error to the Full-scale from the radiation test results for 20.7 kGy TID range.
A Study on Network Strategy for Smart Society by Analysis of Spatial Information Technology Trends

Currently, the previous studies on the concept, configuration, and system regarding spacial information policies show the little progress. However, these studies only propose the basic structure system in terms of a policy theory, seeking and suggesting the basic concept to establish spacial information policies. In the shift of a new paradigm from a PC-based paradigm that began in the mid-2000s to the current smart society based on mobile devises, such as smart phones, this study thus reviewed the strategic direction of the propulsion to establish the desired future strategy for the spatial technology policy with spatial information system that can influence the future national competitiveness of Korea. The results of this study is expected to be used to analyze a variety of issues and technological changes on geospatial intelligence at the global level and to support the establishment of a road-map for policies and research & development on domestic geospatial information.
Study on the low power consumption of active RFID tag system

In this study an active RFID system of low power consumption is proposed, for which we improved the tag collection algorithm of ISO/IEC 18000-7 standard and significantly reduced the tag collection time. We classified the type of power consumption according to the operating mode of active RFID and proposed the method which can accurately estimate battery life time. By calculating the power consumptions of proposed and current methods, we can compare the battery life times of both methods. Through this analysis we can demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method in battery life time.

A Study on Automatic Switch Control System for Systematic Control and History Management of Underground Utility Tunnel Work

Most of access control systems for underground utility tunnel work through wired network between central system and the automatic switch control unit. However, there are several issues regarding the absence of network infrastructure and an outdoor reader in a relatively unique environment. To solve these issues we propose an authenticated key based smart phone control system for secure access to the underground utility tunnel and this scheme is anticipated providing us with crucial information about a systemic entrance history and effective management procedures of utility tunnel. In addition, the proposed scheme enables to access to secured control system in smart phone based bluetooth network and it provides information about systemic control and history management for the switch controls through smart phone applications.
Toward Mobile Cloud Computing-Cloudlet for implementing Mobile APP based android platform

Virtualization lacks capabilities for enabling the application to scale efficiently because of new applications components which are raised to be configured on demand. In this paper, we propose an architecture that affords mobile app based on nomadic smartphone using not only mobile cloud computing-cloudlet architecture but also a dedicated platform that relies on using virtual private mobile networks to provide reliable connectivity through LTE(Long Term Evolution) wireless communication. The design architecture lies with how the cloudlet host discovers service and sends out the cloudlet IP and port while locating the user mobile device. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed architecture by implementing an android application responsible of real time analysis by using a vehicle to applications smartphone interface approach that considers the smartphone to act as a remote users which passes driver inputs and delivers outputs from external applications.
Service Development Tool for Micro Grid Common Platform

Micro Grid is a new concept of electrical grid to solve several problems of Mega-Grid and it is under research and development at the national level around the world. With this background, Micro Grid Common Platform has been developed for interoperability technology of devices-systems in Micro Grid and securing enabler for new market. For supporting business models, Micro Grid Common Platform provides electric power information to Third-Party licensee via Open API function. Licensee, who want to develop electric power application by connecting to Micro Grid Common Platform, needs IDE(Integrated Development Environment) for service development and distribution. The paper proposes a service development tool for developing applications of Micro Grid Common Platform as a PaaS (Platform as a Service).

The container BIC-code is a transport protocol for convenience in international shipping and combined transport environment. It is an identification code of a marine transport container which displays a wide variety of information including country`s code. Recently, transportation through aircrafts and ships continues to rise. Thus fast and accurate processes are required in the ports to manage transportation. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a BIC-code region extraction and recognition method using multiple thresholds. In the code recognition, applying a fixed threshold is not reasonable due to a variety of illumination conditions caused by change of weather, lightening, camera position, color of the container and so on. Thus, the proposed method selects the best recognition result at the final stage after applying multiple thresholds to recognition. For each threshold, we performs binarization, labeling, BIC-code pattern decision (horizontal or vertical pattern) by morphological close operation, and character separation from the BIC-code. Then, each characters is recognized by template matching. Finally we measure recognition confidence scores for all the thresholds and choose the best one. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields accurate recognition for the container BIC-code with robustness to illumination change.
Analysis stages of anesthesia with Bispectrum Coherence and DFA algorithm of the EEG

Due to the anesthesia process is inappropriate on the operation, awakening state was appeared. To prevent the state, it is necessary to monitor the patients by measuring the depth of anesthesia. In this study, we investigate the possibility of the development of actual surgery available quantitative indicators. The DFA which is included the correlation property of the EEG is used to analysis the depth of anesthesia and bispctrum index. In the results, at the pre-operation, the peak of bispectrum was widely distributed, DFA value was decreased. At the during operation, bispectrum was concentrically appeared in the low frequency area. At the post operation, bispectrum and DFA was both returned to the pre-operation state. We confirmed to be close correlation between the peaks of the bispectrum and DFA value.
A Fast Moving Object Tracking Method by the Combination of Covariance Matrix and Kalman Filter Algorithm

This paper proposes a robust method for object tracking based on Kalman filters algorithm and covariance matrix. As a feature of the object to be tracked, covariance matrix ensures the continuity of the moving target tracking in the image frames because the covariance is addressed spatial and statistical properties as well as the correlation properties of the features, despite the changes of the form and shape of the target. However, if object moves faster than operation time, real time tracking is difficult. In order to solve the problem, Kalman filters are used to estimate the area of the moving object and covariance matrices as a feature vector are compared with candidate regions within the estimated Kalman window. The results show that the tracking rate of 96.3% achieved using the proposed method.
A 3D measurement system based on a double frequency method using Fourier transform profilometry

This paper proposes a double frequency method using FTP(Fourier Transform Profilometry) in fringe projection techniques for 3D measurement systems. In fringe projection techniques, fringe pattern images are projected and captured, and then object is measured by analysing phase. PMP(Phase Measuring Profilometry) for analysing phase provides high-resolution and is robust to object`s reflection and background intensities. However, the measurement range is narrow due to 2π ambiguity. In order to overcome this problem, a double frequency method is often used. This method can widen the range of measurement while maintaining the high-resolution, but the measurement time is taken about twice due to grab 2 times number of images. The proposed double frequency method using FTP requires an additional image for resolving 2π ambiguity. The proposed method effectively reduces the measurement time while maintaining the same accuracy.
Study on 2 types of Liquid Lens control system used for the autofocus

The autofocus system is automatically to drive the focus. It is very important to computer vision system. In the case of a compact camera, the actuator technology is used for auto-focus in mass production. the position sensor is required, the circuit configuration and easy method is widely used in VCM, compared to the stability of the drive size and the noise is a big stepping motor type, size has a piezo system having a humidity problem and the small leaded vulnerability. In addition, there is a liquid lens system, the advantages of low power in a compact structure but also a structure with proven quality and reliability and features required pressure. In this paper, we implement two control systems that can control the actuator as a liquid range of VCM using a sharpness of the image acquired by the image sensor automatically initiates 5Mpixel class was the implementation verification of focusing.
A study on the Patent Information Analysis on Electronic Commerce(G06Q) based on the International Patent Classification (IPC) Code

This study is about the patent information analysis of relevant companies and technologies based on International Patent Classification (IPC) code. 902 patent applications in the field of electronic commerce(G06Q) by NAVER, the biggest internet company in Korea, are the subjects of this study. First, we investigated the number of applications and registrations per IPC code so that we could analyze the core technology areas and the status of patent application. In addition, we examined the convergence of technologies by investigating interconnections between main and sub categories of IPC codes. Lastly, we looked into the changes in patent technologies by investigating the status of application per IPC code in accordance with year. By analyzing the IPC code based patent information used in this study, we could further expect the trends of companies and technologies.
A Study on forest fires Prediction and Detection Algorithm using Intelligent Context-awareness sensor

In this paper, we proposed a forest fires prediction and detection system. It could provide a situation of fire prediction and detection methods using context awareness sensor. A fire occurs wide range of sensing a fire in a single camera sensor, it is difficult to detect the occurrence of a fire. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for real-time by using a temperature sensor, humidity, Co2, the flame presence information acquired and comparing the data based on multiple conditions, analyze and determine the weighting according to fire in complex situations. In addition, it is possible to differential management of intensive fire detection and prediction for required dividing the state of fire zone. Therefore we propose an algorithm to determine the prediction and detection from the fire parameters as an temperature, humidity, Co2 and the flame in real-time by using a context awareness sensor and also suggest algorithm that provide the path of fire diffusion and service the secure safety zone prediction.
Design of an Active Shaft Grounding System for the Elimination of Alternating Electromagnetic Field in Vessel

Recently, for the purpose of preventing the corrosion of a vessel, the electrical corrosion protection device that prevents the corrosions of the hull and the propeller is widely used. However, the electrical corrosion protection method artificially emits the current into the seawater around the hull using the power supply in order to make the hull and propeller be in the state of not being corrosion, so that electromagnetic field is generated outside the hull by the current emitted into the seawater. In this paper, the static and alternating constituents of the electromagnetic field generated in underwater outside the hull are analyzed and a countermeasure is investigated to reduce the strength of the electromagnetic field. In conventional shaft grounding system, the shaft potential is maintained above at least 100mV and the alternating current component constitutes more than 10% of the total current. However, in this paper, a control system was designed in order that the alternating current component and the shaft potential which generate electromagnetic field are maintained within 1% and 2mV respectively, and the performance was verified by simulation.
