Improving Lecture Quality using SOFM neural network and C4.5

Improving lecture quality is very necessary for the service quality of education in universities, enterprises and education institutes. The student lecture evaluation survey data is a good tool for measuring lecture quality and have been often analyzed by simple statistical methods. This study presents an intelligent lecture quality improvement method that can improve student's overall satisfaction and performance by analyzing student lecture evaluation survey data. The method uses SOFM (Self-Organizing Feature Map) neural network and C4.5 to find the patterns in student's satisfaction and performance more correctly and then decide what to change in the lecture for the improvement of student's satisfaction and performance. We apply the proposed method to an enterprise lecture in Korea. We can find that it can improve the quality of an enterprise lecture by changing total lecture time, lecture material and organization of lecture schedule to be necessary improvements.
The Instructional Design Model for Applying Flipped Learning in Engineering Courses

As the interests in the flipped learning has recently been increased in the educational field, the number of engineering professors has tended to apply the flipped learning method to their classes. However there has been few research which guide to design engineering courses applying the flipped learning method. This study aims to suggest an instructional design model for the flipped learning according to the case of applying the flipped learning method to an engineering course, "Mechanical Vibrations". This study provides practical guidelines for engineering professors to design their theory oriented courses applying the flipped learning method.

A variety of robot education comes out. However, robot associated with the image processing is insufficient. And it is difficult to various education through a robot. Image processing educational robot that is proposed is made by module type hardware, so it's convenient to assemble according to educational purposes with the robot. In image processing, the robot recognizes color and pattern and calculates angle and control four motors. Using the robot, you can learn image processing, how to use MCU and Encoder, related programs and motor control.
Education equipment for FPGA-based multimedia player design

Education equipment for field programmable gate array (FPGA) based multimedia player design is introduced. Using the education equipment, an example of hardware design for color detection and augment reality (AR) game is described, and an example of syllabus for "Digital system design using FPGA" course is introduced. Using the education equipment, students can develop the ability to design some hardware, and to train the ability for the creative capstone design through conceptual, partial-level, and detail designs. By controlling audio codec, system-on-chip (SOC) design skills combining a NIOS II soft microprocessor and digital hardware in one FPGA chip are improved. The ability to apply wireless communication and LabView to FPGA-based digital design is also increased.
A Study on Field placement Activation using Base camp

Most important Industry-Academy cooperation program in university is field placement for increasing ability work. Purpose of field placement are to provide training opportunities and to increase competition in job market. But field placement may vary depending on the size of the industry and the students' ability. In severe cases, some students did not practicing but simple work. So it is difficult to achieve the purpose of practical training. Thus, we propose a method for increasing field training ability and activation field placement using Base camp.
Automotive Tire Pressure Sensors with Titanium Membrane

In this work, mechanical characteristics of titanium diaphragm have been studied as a potential robust substrate and a diaphragm material for automotive tire pressure sensor. Lamination process techniques combined with traditional micromachining processes have been adopted as suitable fabrication technologies. To illustrate these principles, capacitive pressure sensors based on titanium diaphragm have been designed, fabricated and characterized. The fabrication process for micromachined titanium devices keeps the membrane and substrate being at the environment of 20 MPa pressure and

. Each sensor uses a stainless steel substrate, a laminated titanium film as a suspended movable plate and a fixed, surface micromachined back electrode of electroplated nickel. The finite element method is adopted to investigate residual stresses formed in the process. Besides, out-of-plane deflections are calculated under pressures on the diaphragm. The sensitivity of the fabricated device is
with a net capacitance change of 0.18 pF over a range 0-210 kPa.

The purpose of this study aims to examine the effects of Career Development Center website users' recognition on contents characteristics (User Convenience, Information, Customer Service) on user responses (User Satisfaction, User Loyalty). According to the research result, first, Career Development Center of website contents characteristics explained 36.4% User satisfaction, it was affected significantly Information, User Convenience, and Customer Service in order. Second, Career Development Center of website contents characteristics explained 36.2% User loyalty, it was affected significantly Information, Customer Service, and User Convenience in order. Thus, it was important that Web site contents was improved the Users satisfaction and loyalty of Career Development Center Web site.

The purpose of this study is to take a look at the cases on managing the senior human resources of business enterprises following the significant number of retirement of baby-boom generation and obligatory retirement age of 60 years of age and present the implication points in policies. With respect to the implication of the company, it would urgently require the introduction of programs with long-term point of view for career management strategy from the time of employment to the resignation, settlement of company leave system called chulhyang, expansion of wage peak system, full-time job transfer support center within the enterprise for retirement management, expansion of various consulting, conversion of paradigm on senior human resource management of top management in the enterprise level. In the government level, it is considered as required for systematic supplementation of the chulhyang system, improvement of support system for employment encouragement fund, expansion of national work capability standard-based senior employment field as well as task development, support for innovation of personnel management system, supply of management manual and implementation of job transfer education for life-time conversion period in the government level.

Analyzing test data of a vehicle for evaluating its emission performance is an essential process in automotive development field, yet it is intricate and tedious task. In addition, clear understanding and care are required when the analysis process is carried out. Computer software solutions significantly reduce the time and the effort for such analysis. Developing a computer routine to analyze the emission data in a vehicle test demands a complete understanding of the emissions analysis and its related details. In this paper, the principals to develop a LabVIEW analysis routine (VI) are introduced helping automotive engineers comprehend the emission analysis process of a vehicle test data and instruct them to develop similar routines for such analysis.
A Study on the Composition of the Presentation Remote Control Analysis a Tension of Presenter

In this study, the new model of presentation remote controller in which has improved the conventional function and deteceted the level of human's tension on a real time basis is suggested and tested. Existing presentation remote controller was just used turning the pages. But new model controls presentation and check tension level on real time using the smart phone's bluetooth interface. The proposed system is comprised with the PPG (Photo-Plethysmo-Graphy) sensor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules. The configured system is to process (within 150 ms) the pulse signals of the presenter and stored the data. As a result, it can check and make up for the week presentation part and used as sources for improving self-confidence. This is the result obtained from the process of capstone design irregular course for 20 weeks of a graduate-to-be in four-year college.
